Hotel 3232 in New York
The location of the hotel is really convenient. It is around 15 mins walking from most of the tourist places - Times Square, Empire State Building, St Patrick’s Cathedral etc.We stayed in a room with a kitchen, as that was our requirement. The room 301 had a full kitchen with stove top, fridge and microwave. Also came with plates and bowls and silverware and cooking utensils. The only cons were the windows were not really sound proof and we could hear people in the streets in the middle of the night. Also being very close to the elevator, we could hear people as they came and went.We wanted to clean up after ourself and wished there could be dish soap and scrubber to do the dishes. We requested for one but it wasn’t made available. Ended up buying some dish soap from a nearby convenience store to clean the dishes. We were expecting it as there was a full kitchen.
False advertising in the photos and when you call and inquire. The 700+ square foot is made up of a bunch of hallways that lead to a small bedroom with a pull out couch it is not separate if you intend on having your children there. The courtyard is the most Misleading word in their advertising. It has a couple of garbage chairs mixed in with nothing but vents air conditioners and kitchen exhaust vents and a horrible smell. While we were here there were multiple people complaining about misleading advertising and being given rooms they did not block other people were told the reservation was tentative and not confirmed and sent packing. Stay anywhere else this place sucks.
This establishment look like nyc apartment complex converted into mini suite hotels. The hotel consists of two buildings across the street from each other and numbered depending on which building you are assigned to. If you want to experience living in a well -furnished apartment in NYC, definitely book this hotel. It is also very close to Korea town (on the same street, just to the west side of the street, 2 Avenue over) and all the good place to buy food and groceries from.
Run! Stay away! Never stay here I don’t understand how there are good reviews. So many things wrong with this hotel. 1. elevator broke for a day so you had to use these creepy stairs. And go up like 15 floors. Unacceptable. Then this elevator gets stuck often and is honestly terrifying.2. No cleaning??!! U have to schedule a day in advance and they don’t clean on sundays so basically pointless. Horrible .3. Only two hangers ones broken. Broken balcony door lock. Ironing board doesn’t work and tv remote is dead. Wifi also isn’t the same name as what the wifi card stated ir should be so we had to call to confirm because connecting to a random wifi is dangerous. Also the wifi is SLOW can’t even load pictures?!!4. Our door was left open. We were told we could have done this accidentally while leaving and that a lot of people have because u have to slam the door?? This is horrible we could have been robbed easily.Overall horrible hotel. STAY AWAY!!
I recently spent two nights at Hotel 32|32 with my wife and young child. The lodgings and service were acceptable, but a few days after checking out I discovered a charge for nearly $50 on the credit card I had laid down for incidentals. Knowing that we had left the room clean and undamaged I was surprised by this charge and called the hotel for clarification. I was told that the charge was a mandatory “service fee” which I had supposedly agreed to pay. I never agreed to pay this charge. My mother-in-law booked the hotel room through Expedia and after investigating the reservation I found a minuscule reference to this fee in fine print under the amount Expedia would be charging. I was not notified of the charge when checking in and as usual left a cash tip for the housekeeping staff. I find the application of this fee despicable, underhanded, and deceptive.I have a bad taste in my mouth for Hotel 32|32 and will not be returning.
I was super nervous to stay here with my boyfriend. The hotel is advertised as a four so hotel so of course I booked it, but after reading lots of bad reviews I was second guessing my decision. Although the some of the reviews were unsettling I decided to see it through anyway and I’m glad I did .Hotel 3232 is indeed a four-star hotel with four-star service. The staff really make this hotel what it is. Johanna, the Guest Relations Manager helped me with any concerns I had. When I checked in with Sandra (she was there at all day) she was so helpful. She helped me with find parking and took care of my bags while I went to brunch with my boyfriend . She is funny and just a genuine person who enjoys her job. It was nice to receive that kind of positive energy. The hotel is clean. A++ on cleanliness. After lots of bottomless Sangria and Mimosas, unfortunately i had to use the bathroom before our room was ready. I ended using the bathroom in the lobby. I was so pleased with how sanitary the lobby bathroom was. I don’t know why I was so surprised that it was clean, maybe because the lobby is so small assumed they forgot about the bathroom from time to time. I’m glad I was wrong , it gave me hope for what to expect from my room when I finally checked in. When we finally did check into the room it was just as clean as the lobby. The cleaning crew did a lovely job. We were surprised to find out that we got a free upgraded room. I guess they upgraded us because we nice and respectful, because we sure didn’t ask for it. It was a happy discovery. It made our weekend in the Manhattan extra special. No one is talking about how comfortable the bed is . I didn’t think anything was more comfortable than the bed I have at home, but here it is. Treat yourself to a room with a king size bed!Treat yourself to a kitchenette too! We had a stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. They even had plates, bowls , and eating utensils for us. They also had a really clean microwave and toaster, pots and pans. It was fully stocked for at least 4 place settings. I suggest getting a room with a kitchen. If you’re going to be there for more than a couple days you can stock the fridge and cut down on some of your expenses by cooking your own meals. We didn’t go to their speakeasy/sushi restaurant instead we went to another local speakeasy. However, if you do wish to go to their speakeasy please make an reservation in advance. It fills up fast. We did however, get a peek of their lobby bar before it opened. We were both impressed with the set up. We missed out on drinking there because we had so many other things to do. Still, it was nice to know we didn’t have to leave the hotel to get some food or a drink.I read reviews stating that the walls were thin.. I didn’t hear anything. I could hear someone in the next room, but only when I left my room and stood in front of their door. Our room was so peaceful and quiet. We had a pretty decent size tv and we didn’t have any problems with hearing it and we didn’t hear the Tvs in the other rooms.Yes, the hotel is divided into two parts. North tower and south tower. They are directly across the street from each other. Reviews make it seem like it’s a big deal but it really isn’t a big deal. I think it’s a bigger deal to some people because it’s not something that they prepare you for when you book the hotel. They really should inform people about it, but they don’t. I would chalk that up to some of the reasons they get bad reviews. They have room service! We didn’t check it out, but it’s worth saying if you are a material girl who likes room service . I know I do.Five star experience in a four star hotel. We had a great stay here, my boyfriend and I agree that we would definitely stay here again.
BLACK MOLD!Not safe to stay!A lot of reviews talk about a smell, which I believe to be the mold coming through the wall cracks. You can’t even open the windows to air out the room since there is no screen and the balcony doors don’t work.On top of that; there was no AC and the fridge didn’t work.
I happened to be here while there was construction in front of the building. The room is soundproof. But when youre hot, theres no AC or fan for you to turn on. So we had to open the window and listen to construction all day. It was fine, but construction was going on until midnight and they started again at 7am... I know this isnt the hotels fault, but it was annoying and we couldnt do much.If you get the room with a kitchen, please bring your own paper towels, sponge, dishwasher detergent, and dish detergent. The hotel doesnt provide any of these. Not even paper towel when they have a paper towel holder...
Positive: The location was good. The balcony was convenient. Negative: I booked a room that should have included a kitchen. Studio means something different in NY apparently. Grungy shower floor that crackled when you stood in it and the glass wall gets water on the floor. Lumpy bed. Loud ac/heater. Too hot
We had to move rooms and out of the north side tower for various reasons including no working outlets in the bathroom, broken kitchen drawer handles and no cooking pots being provided. Both rooms did not feel like they were thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. But the south tower seems to have the nicer rooms with better light.Staff do not communicate with each other and each person will tell you different information. You must call and ask for housekeeping. But youll want to check and confirm they have your room on the list because they never came and cleaned on two occasions.Overall an average to slightly above average experience for the price range. The queen and king room sizes are spacious compared to most NY rooms. Having a kitchen is definitely a perk for breakfasts and light cooking. We ultimately walked away happy with our decision.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I stayed at this hotel maybe three times the last stay at 5 am someone I couldn’t see because of fear tried to break the latch off the door from the outside scared me out of my sleep. It began with just one slam and progressed Very violent bangs with the door trying to loosen the door stop I put on from the inside when I checked out and asked about it the person at the front desk said that was just room service ! ABSOLUTELY NOT !
Pretty mediocre. Note the hotel charges a $16 amenity fee in addition to their posted rates, which is not listed on their website prices, and is considered to be illegal by many state AGs, its a shady business practice at best.Check in was fine, good location. The room is OK, bathroom has nice fixtures but the bed, curtains and walls all had lots of deep stains, some of which look like blood (see pics). Will not be staying here again.
I stayed here for 2 weeks during a work trip. The room was alright. Currently, you need to request housekeeping every time you want it.My room had a kitchenette but an oddly inconvenient set of wares within. 1 fork but 6 spoons, 1 pan but 3 lids (none of which fit), 3 plates but no bowls, and one dirty cup.I never found a functioning ice machine, but there might be one in there somewhere. My room had a large window, but the curtains were stuck, so it was always dark. There was also a small balcony, but the door seemed to be locked.
Amazing place for the price. If you consider the location, the amenities, and the large sized rooms, its incredible value in NYC. We had a room with a kitchen, which was a huge plus. We made ourselves breakfast each day. It was like having an apartment in a hotel. Front desk staff is very nice.
Positive: The location met my needs. There was a balcony - though it doesnt have a view. Negative: This hotel was NOT a 4 star hotel as advertised. It was 3 star at best. Furniture was old, shaby, paint from walls on chair & on floor. TV would only work on religious channel. Staff not trained.
Great place for the money. I stayed in the North Tower and was very pleased. I went with my father (who is 65), so having 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles makes a huge difference for us. I thought the room was spacious (especially for the area) and had everything we needed. Great location right by ESB and the 33rd st subway stop is right on the corner.
This is a 2-star hotel AT BEST.You get better quality rooms at a LaQuinta Inn.▪️Stains on the walls▪️AC only blows hot HOT AIR after a while, we had to leave the window and balcony door open▪️TOILET PLUNGER stays up after flushing, and you need to lift the tank lid to push it back down in order to keep it from running all night▪️Water pressure inconsistent▪️We had a potential FIRE HAZARD because the mini fridge plug had one of its prongs break off into the outlet▪️Windows face directly into an office building so you have no privacy unless you leave the blinds closedYou get what you pay for.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone visiting NYC, including you! The room was a nice size, especially for NYC! Location was AMAZING! The balcony was an added bonus and a must, especially if you smoke. The room was no smoking but they left an ashtray just incase you wanted to smoke on the balcony. It was private and very secluded. We got the Premium Queen room. The balcony was pretty big. I’d guess about 8’X3’. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Especially Sandra and Alvaro! Sandra called me once we got to our room just to make sure we were happy and always had a smile on her face. Alvaro was so nice and allowed us to check out an hour late because our car wasn’t available at the time of checkout. My family and I will definitely be back to stay here! Thanks Hotel 32/32. We appreciate you! (FYI: there are two buildings to this hotel. We stayed in the North Tower!)
Disappointed in this hotel. I was lodged in the north tower across the street from the main hotel. Waited 15 minutes for a track suited worker to show up and check us in. Zero amenities despite a $17.20 resort fee. This is a 2 star hotel. Koreatown location. Room was as described. Do not recommend.
Dont recommend staying at this hotel at all lm an influencer and decided to add this hotel to my list of basic hotels but never again. To start they collect 175 security deposit which I dont know why is anything about this hotel that should require that amount, not even certain Hilton or rated hotels. The balcony has no view is for like one person only we were legit looking at the back of a building no view nothing at all. The room was okay they barely gave any towels the pillows are super tiny the remote takes forever to switch channels. I would not recommend this at all wish I never stayed there
I stayed at the hotel before Covid. I was ok, are room was slightly dirty and the walls were thin. The pull out coach was un comfortable to sleep on. But on the other hand the location was sweet along with there little rooftop ice thing. I liked the overall as ethic of the hotel, plus the second secret painted staircase.
It was a little rough at first because confusion with my booking. But, the staff easily made an adjustment. I would like to give a special THANK YOU TO MISS JOANNA(dont have last name) AT THE FRONT DESK. She was nice to my daughter and I. The bed was comfortable-slept well. The rooms were clean. Definitely would stay again in near future. The hotel was close to everything-transportation, shopping, restaurants and landmark attractions.
The location was great. The staff wasnt friendly, also the room was dusty especially under the bed ,the curtains were dirty, the heater didnt work well. There was marijuana smell in which i had to open the window but then got cold. Also the water drainage was slow. They charge you more for the resort fee then stated on here and thier own website and they have only one elevator so prepare to wait.
The room was nice, and clean and the bathroom was big as well which we really enjoyed but the property was in such a horrible area. It smelled like weed in entire building, and elevator. We couldn’t leave our window open because you could either smell the weed or smell all the New Yorks open trash cans. Building had a very shady vibe. Most horrible part, they don’t even have water fountain in entire building, and has tiny water bottles in room for $3.00 each😠. You can do better with that price in NYC.
My wife and I researched the area for a reasonably priced one night stay. We knew we werent going to be staying in anything great or big for that point...This is the city. We had plans to go to the Yankee game and didnt want to drive out of the city to find a place that late at night. We called to make the reservation and were told we had to basically pay for two days that we were booking. We didnt want to but we did anyway. We were just wanting to be cautious not knowing what we were walking into. Once there we tried to check in but were told there were two buildings and ours was on the other side of the street. We went across the street only to find a totally different vibe compared to the side we originally went to. After not feeling good about our decision we decided we would make this a one night visit only. As Im sure most know parking is almost impossible in the city. We expected this. So we double parked on the street just to give us the chance to check in. After completing the check in process we headed up to room 911 to put our stuff in the room and use the bathroom. Looking in the bathroom we noticed a nasty stained wet rag in the bath tub. On the way back to the car we mentioned it to the folks at the front desk. The response that we got from them through up more red flags. Enough for us to attempt to change buildings and talk with the front desk on the other side. Those folks were very accommodating and tried to get us a different room which we refused. Just asked for them to make sure the room was cleaned. They agreed. Off to the game we went. The game had 2 rain delays and we didnt get back until after midnight. Once in the room, we were needing some ice and the guy downstairs told us the ice was on the roof - 18th floor I believe. My wife went up to the roof and only found an old broken ice machine. We called down stairs and the guy said he would bring up some ice which never happened and no one ever communicated. When I laid down on the bed to to to sleep for the night, my feet was about 10 inches above my feet. I felt like I was sleeping in a hole. Very uncomfortable and when I woke up my back was killing me. The next morning my wife called down to the front desk to ask for an iron. We had this great big iron board in the room but no iron. The guy said he would bring one up. When it arrived it did not work. She called down and the guy brought up another one that did indeed work. Later we found out that we were double charged and had to fight that. All in all this was not a good experience. When on vacation the most memorable experience should not be the bad experience you had with the hotel you only stayed in for one night.
This hotel is easy to locate and access. All the staff members are friends and communicate very well. The managers respond quickly to emails and theyre very polite and amiable. The place is clean. Its comfortable and affordable as well. I recommend this hotel if youre considering staying in the city for a few days. Its also really close to times square and other NY attractions.
I am staying here and the ventilation will make you gag. Despite being a no smoke hotel, the cigarette smell permeates rooms and hallways creating a permanent stench. Despite calling down to the front desk for relief, there is no solution and they will not provide an alternative room. What they will do is send someone up with febreeze. Run away from this property!
Great customer service! We didnt end up staying at this property but while trying to work out some issues with our travel plans we spoke with the owner Mike who is very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely try to book here again next time we plan to visit the area.
The hotel is simply not worth the money. On the first night, we had to call maintenance after 1 AM because the room was flooding. The following day, they had to replace the entire AC unit due to flooding, again. Then, on our last night, we were forced to move rooms at midnight because the AC was not working. The experience was so unpleasant we checked out at 6:30 AM and headed to the airport in hopes of catching an earlier flight. I tried talking to the manager Mike Maynard and the front desk said he was not available every single day for the past two weeks. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere. Other reviews stated it, but the hotel is very outdated and small.
Hotel 32|32 was ok. The staff was very nice. The location was extremely convenient, close to Empire State Building and time square. Directly across the street from Fendi! My room with a terrace and view was my only complaint. The terrace can only accommodate 1 large person or 2 small people at one time.... it’s very very very tiny. The room itself was ok. They did not have any small towels for some reason but I brought my own. It wasn’t bad, just forget about the terrace. *pics are of the back of the building, there obviously isn’t any terraces facing the front*
Cozy boutique hotel in midtown. Hanging with some friends from out of town and showing them a good time in NYC. Clean, modern amenities and contemporary decor. Only issue is they need to clean the ice machines more often, ice was cloudy and had specks in it. We got our ice from 7-Eleven down the block.
Very nice boutique hotel in a terrific location in midtown. The rooms are spacious with full kitchens. The beds are comfortable and well appointed. The air conditioner is not the best as the rooms are long and the air does not reach to the other end. Staff is friendly and courteous. Beware that they charge a daily fee for cleaning in addition to the room cost. They actually have two locations across the street from each other.
Very disappointing. Housekeeping walked in my room without knocking as I was getting out of the shower, the first day they never even came to clean our room. The pillow cases had holes in them. We had to move from our first room because there was a leak so our toilet couldn’t be used...it took 7 hours for us to even get a new room. When we went across the street to the main lobby to use their bathroom there was urine all over the toilet seat. There was no apology for any of this. No microwave, no ice machine. The mini fridge in the room smelled rotten. I ended up taking the stairs multiple times because the elevator took so long. I will never come here again.
The bed was comfortable but I will not be staying here again . The shower didn’t have a door on it so we had to make a mat out of towels . The water bottle price is ridiculous.....3.00 $ ???? And how before booking I saw the pictures of this room. I didn’t get the bar stools like in the picture . Nothing was good at all . I really didn’t enjoy my stay .
It was just okay. The room was pretty small except for the nice bathroom. This room also has snacks, soda, bottled water etc but be careful they come at a price. There was just one person at a small desk when you walk in. If we needed anything they were good about it. Oh ... yes ..... the balcony ... its just a very small area to step out in. Nice to have especially if you are a smoker.
Well after a horrible day of travel our stay here was worse. Ill be leaving and demanding a refund in the morning as the other guests were doing drugs and smoking inside and BLASTING club music. Im not a Debbie downer at all and I know its NYC but the sheer and blatant ignorance.of these women was repulsive and the Staff did little to alleviate the situation. Cant wait for a real hotel in the morning!
The room was clean, the bed and 4 pillows were super soft and having a terrace was awesome. Its location is perfect in that youre just far enough from Times Square to escape the traffic and noise while being a short walk from the subway. It was a bit off-putting that my room was unexpectedly across the street from the main lobby/restaurant but it didnt matter to me personally. But be aware, if you want coffee or breakfast in the morning, youre probably going to have to walk across the street. Still, I really enjoyed it and plan to go back!
Decent hotel, good location...During our stay, the elevator was broken which wouldnt have been an issue if we werent put on the highest floor which meant lugging our bags up and down 17 flights of stairs at check-in and check-out which was not fun. To my VERY pleasant surprise, we were refunded the day after checkout, no questions asked, without any inquiry or request from us. Such GREAT customer service deserves five stars! Thank you!!
Great location, 6 train station on the same block, lots of space in room, great water pressure, great air conditioning, room is simple and modern looking which i like. Not perfect though. One of our beds was like loopsided and wanted to make you fall out of bed. The cleaning people forgot to leave coffee twice. the light in our kitchenette didnt work. Overall 4/5
Really not worth it, with terrible service. Room was tiny and never got made up the next day and was made to feel like it was our fault for asking why not. There was heat coming out of the walls and no effective aircon. The beds are super soft and the pillows are tiny. A resort fee is charged to cover the cost of coffee and wifi which is free in the cheapest of hotels. Overall not at all a 4 star property.
Rooms were big and roomy for Manhattan. There was a strong marijuana odor so we told the night staff. They offered us another room but by that time the smell was gone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet around our room. We slept very well. The only two cons are the hotel should partner with another breakfast place other than Guy and Gallard and have a later check out time than 11am. Evelyn Juarez was helpful in offering us a later check out time when I mentioned it to her but we were already checking out. Recommend and will return. Thanks Hotel 32 32!
We stayed for two weeks in a double queen room. Super hotel with a lot of perks. Sure, they dont have a lobby in a traditional sense but who needs one anyway. The fitness center is just around the corner and its also really good (squat rack and everything)! You also get free on demand HBO. Beds were very comfortable and the room was aways clean. Staff is friendly too!
Visiting for NYC Pride. The rooms are great. Spacious for for nyc and the balcony is an added bonus. The bed is super comfy and there is a small couch that folds out for more room. I like that the floor in the room is wood instead of carpet. Also, he ladies at the reception desk were very friendly :)
Great hotel if youre looking for the basic necessities. Clean with a welcoming, informative staff. Location is perfect- only a short walk/cab ride away from several popular NYC landmarks. Ten minute walk from Penn Station. We stayed in the Queen Studio with a balcony. Cozy room just big enough for two.
Location is good as its not far from Empire State Building/Herald Square. There were too many issues though, card key didnt work for the first day or following morning so we couldnt get into our room without asking the receptionist downstairs, toilet blocked a few times, silverfish in the bathroom, Aircon very noisy and didnt work properly. Room was more like a small studio though with the kitchen right beside the toilet, i wouldnt use it. Not the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in but I wouldnt stay again.
The expectation of the hotel was high based on the review and comparing to other hotels in the same price range. The lobby is small and the free breakfast is available offsite. Breakfast was uneventful. The staff could also be more friendly. Hotel is at a convenient location and the rooms was clean and comfortable.
In summary, Simple hotel, great location,Would recommend. Complimentary Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice and room overall was a good size. Great base for sight seeing, and lots of local restaurants and bars. I have only given this 4 stars, as there was no lobby area as such, so no bar or coffee area to relax in, and although complimentary breakfast was included it is over the road, simple but a good start to the day.
Great place! We stayed in the Full Superior room with a full kitchen. Its in a good location - very close to the Empire and Chrysler, short walk to Bryant park and the Flatiron. They give you breakfast vouchers for the cafe next door. They also had a bag check so we could do a few things after checkout. No problems!
The front desk staff was very friendly but I could tell they need to upgrade their computer system. The front desk staff seemed annoyed at the computer and how long it took to check me in but no fault of his.The room was surprisingly nicer than I expected, the room was spacious and the bathroom had more room space than my experiences with other new York hotels.Overall, Id recommend Hotel 32 32 to a friend or colleague.
Overall an average hotel expensive for the money. The kitchen is nice, it has all the amenities to cook food, wash dishes. The flooring is not in great shape, it makes creaking noises. AC its not perfect, its noisy and cools too much at lowest setting and need to be manually turned off from time to time. There are a bunch of stuff available like water bottles or other stuff all have a price written on them and nothing is complementary. Overall its on the expensive side for what you get.
Great hotel. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Very clean bedroom and bathroom with excellent shower. Doesnt have a restaurant as yet but will have early next year. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Didnt hear any other guests so very quiet other than traffic outside which can still be heard from 3rd floor which is probably the same at most hotels in nyc.
I stayed in the tower across the road from the main hotel. No lobby. Rooms were cramped (typical for New York). WiFi couldnt connect while on the bed. Bathroom was well laid out with a large open shower which was great. It was a place to sleep but I wouldnt recommend it if youre looking for luxury.
Good location and affordable hotel. Small rooms, basic amenities... no fans in washrooms so smoking neighbors smell up your room, dont replace the “free coffee” in room once used, balcony is really just a spot to stand outside and look at neighboring building. If you’re looking for a place to rest your head, then go for it.
The hotel is split into two buildings (north and south). Our party arrived around 11:30am, and despite being 3.5 hours early, we got to check on early for our two-night stay. Our stay was overall pretty good and the front desk staff were very willing to help, but I was a little disappointed with the structural and cleanliness standards for their rooms. In terms of the former, when we went to our room (double queen), we noticed a section of one of our beds sagged. When we went to the front desk to ask about it, they offered us another room (with one bed) so our party separated, and they promised to have the bed fixed the following morning. When we got back to the hotel the second day, the bed had still not been fixef. Our second room was not as nice as the original; the shower didnt have a door, and the room itself did not seem as clean! The floor was a little sticky in some areas, and there were some hair pins on the ground that had clearly been left by the previous guests.I appreciated their customer service at the front desk in that they attempted to fix our problem (and gave us a free hotel room so that we wouldnt have to sleep on a broken bed), but was still a little underwhelmed with the fact that they didnt actually fix the bed despite promising to.
We stayed at Hotel 32 32 on 6/23/17-6/25/17. It was conveniently located near the Empire State Building. It was clean and attractive. My biggest complaint was that no one cleaned our room on 6/24. We were out of the room from early morning to late evening and we came home to unmade beds and no towels. We reported the issue at checkout the next day and we were told the manager would be in touch via email. We have had no contact from the hotel. For the amount of money spent, this is just ridiculous. Buyer beware!
This boutique hotel rests in midtown Manhattan and is well located for transportation needs as well as fine dining options. As a boutique hotel, the amenities were limited, particularly for those traveling on business. The work area was limited and uncomfortable and gave this user back aches. They make up for this with deals with local business particularly with the use of a gym located around the corner from the hotel. However, if you are traveling for leisure, I recommend it. The amount of time you will be spending in your room will be enjoyable as the rooms have a good layout, including comfortable beds.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms appeared clean and the soundproof windows kept it nice and quiet. We unfortunately got bed bug bites and they did move us to another room and refund part of our stay, but our dry-cleaning bill was $190. CDN, as we were there for meetings and an event and had to bring dress clothes. When we tried to reach them for some compensation they didnt get back to us. We had hoped to stay there in the future, but will look elsewhere.
AWESOME HOTEL IN THE HEART OF MANHATTAN. SPACIOUS, CLEAN, AND JUST OVERaLL a great experience. They allowed me to have a late check-out free of charge. Ill Definitely stay there again. The studio for the price is this deal of DealS. I have the dead roughly seven times in the past 2 months.
Clean and quick to satisfy any need. Check in, system needs to be worked on ASAP. Expect to wait atleast 15min. To checking if crowded 2omin. Even with a reservation you will wait. ROOMS can have a kitchen or not you must reserve or risk not getting one. If the checkin system was faster this place would get a 5 star rating,
I did not stay at this location, my wife and her friends did. I did go in the room and get ready for our party later that night. Having seen it, I would say it is a nice hotel. There was a queen sized bed that her two friends slept on and a folding couch that my wife was able to sleep on. For a small hotel room, it had more than enough storage/closet space and plenty of room for 5 people to get dressed.
Very nice, relaxt urban hotel in mid-center. Location is excellent! A lot to see on walking distance and public transport is close by. The room we received is perfect and gets cleaned everyday. The beds are comfortable and we got a view from the room over the Empire State building. We stayed at this hotel for a week and enjoyed it. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi is great as well. We recommend this hotel!
No accommodations for young children. We booked a “two bedroom suite” and specified it was 4 adults and one child. The “suite” was two small connected rooms with two double beds... you are unable to control the heat, it was unbearably hot, we woke in the middle of the night and had to open a window and leave the door open to the balcony. There was no hot water to shower with. On top of all of this, the elevator was broken and our room was on the 15th floor. The gentleman at the desk was extremely rude and his response to most of our issues, was he didn’t know what to tell us. The rooms were atleast clean and updated. Save your money and go somewhere else.Update- the manager was supposed to reach out on Monday, still have not been contacted.
ProsVery large room with a balcony and kitchenComfortable bedsFriendly reception staffConsMy view was of office buildings in a dark enclave which I think a majority of the rooms look out on to.The internet was horrible. Many times I could not connect at all.Pillows were more like flattened throw pillowsLoud AC unit that the housekeepers turned off during the day leaving you to come back to a room as hot as a sauna
Weve been here for two nights and it was ok. This is a simple hotel and offers rooms with kitchenette for a low price. The view is nothing special, but better than a lot of other places. Very good location, very close to the metro and if you go by car its also close to the highway. The entry and front desk is very small and the staff at the front desk seems not professional. Our bed was broken. But overall it was clean and had everything we needed. For the price weve paid – we left satisfied.
Very good hotel!Rarely do I stay the night in the city but this has a great location for me and very good hotel. The room I had was the biggest in the floor and was very spacious actually. It even had a balcony! Bathroom was newer and very clean. One confusing part of the hotel was that there is a separate building across 32nd street that is the same but different room numbers.
First receptionist was very welcoming and in good health. Huh? Yeah well the second receptionist I encountered later that night was caughing up a storm. She should have stayed home.. :( - besides this my stay at the hotel was great. I was in a room with queen bed with balcony so it was tiny, but comfortable. The bed was a bit over-used which made it a bit saggy and uncomfortable. The hotel apparently has two buildings on both sides of the 32nd st. Which was a bit weird. I felt like I was missing out. Hotel was close to subway 6 line which made it easy to get around town. Overall I enjoyed my night here but it would be hard to recommend the hotel.
Booked a Queen premiere with balcony, supposed to sleep 4 on a Queen bed and pull out sofa, not really the case. Pull out sofa was VERY small. BUT, pleasant staff, clean, modern, well situated, sufficient storage space. Breakfast across the street, apart from weekends when its around the corner. Well worth it. Would stay again.
This hotel was a huge disappointment. The only thing it has going for it is its location in midtown by the Empire State Building. The cleanliness was appalling and the accomidations all looked well used. There were candy wrappers from the prior occupant by the bed. Also there were scuff marks and dirty hand prints on most of the walls. The furniture looked like low grade Ikea furniture after it had been abused for ten years. The bed was not comfortable and the pillow was tiny.If all you looking for is a good price and location, this place is good. If you are looking for anything else keep looking.
I spent the night after the Billy Joel concert and disagree with a lot of the negative things posted here. Maybe we just got lucky but there was always someone at the front desk, checking in was never easier, the room was very clean, the water pressure was great and the breakfast right around the corner was excellent. My only negatives were the bathroom didnt have a ventilation system and the deck was quite small and overlooked an alley. Nevertheless, still a great experience I would do again.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I checked in on December 4, 2019 and was given room 404. Perfect, I went up and realized that this room is OCCUPIED! WOW. I went downstairs and told the receptionist what happened and obviously asked for a different room and was given room 304. I went up again and THIS NEW ROOM IS ALSO OCCUPIED. I was then sent to their North Tower across the street. Finally, a room that is actually vacant. Honestly, I have no words. I may expect this from a cheap motel but not from an alleged 4-star hotel. This was a huge inconvenience to me obviously but if I were the actual occupants of rooms 404 and 304, then I would be upset beyond belief. I just cannot believed this happened. If you value security and privacy, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
Its just okay. Ive stayed at a few Executive live-in hotels like the AKA and they are great. Lounge, exclusive room furnishings and comfort. This isnt it. Its an okay place to stay if you want a tiny kitchen and a bed which isnt that great and a shower than is a bath shower with a fixed head and furnishings that have small dents and scratches. If you get mail, half the time you have to call down for them to bring it up. The hotel is also split into two properties across the street from each other, so pay attention to your reservation to check in to the right one. The desk staff, although never in uniform or groomed are nice enough and always ready to help. Forget the included breakfast, its at the cafe next door. You have set options and anything else costs more. For instance, bagel cream cheese is included but if you want your cream cheese to be with onions or chives its and extra dollar and if you want lettuce or tomato too, its another dollar. If youre looking for just a place to crash, its cheap and fine. Not more than that.
Stayed for one night at the Hotel 32 32 North building, in a double queen room facing the street. The room was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. But the room was also extremely hot. So hot that we had the large window open all night in the middle of December, and even then it was only tolerable. I had seen other similar reviews but didnt believe them, and I should have. It just about ruined our stay, before we figured out that the window opened - which did result in increased street noise.Three other minor complaints: although the room was nice, there were cups in the room, but with no napkins underneath them, just the lids resting on dirty surfaces. The elevator is slow, and theres only one in the building. And the lobby is very small, and can be crowded with 2 rooms trying to check in. On the plus side, although we were originally given just 1 towel and 1 hand towel, they brought more up within about 2 minutes of us calling the front desk - very responsive. The location is very convenient - 3ish long blocks from Penn Station, and close to 5th Avenue and other activities. Cost was competitive with other similarly situated hotels.
Great price for Manhattan. Subway station just around the corner. Room was big for a large city. Separate bed, kitchenette area was awesome. Stocked mini fridge, but another fridge for things you buy on your own. Updated, new and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
We were disappointed in our stay at Hotel 32|32, which we anticipated to be a luxury boutique hotel experience based on the hotel’s online marketing. Upon arrival we were placed in the North Tower which is across the street from the main hotel. The ambiance there is more like a hostel or dormitory with very basic and cheap amenities—far below the expensive rate we paid during the holiday season. We would recommend this hotel only if you are able to book your stay at a budget price.
I booked the queen deluxe suite with private roof deck. Im not a space person when it comes to anything, but I was SHOCKED when I walked in that room. The photos showed a small table with two chairs and a little floor space--- neither were in the queen deluxe suite with private roof deck I stayed in. From photos, I knew bathroom was small, so thats not a complaint, as its made clear in the photos. I asked if they had ANYTHING else with a little more room, but everything else was booked. The room was decently nice, aside from feeling like a closet. Something I DIDNT ASK or check on was if they had any sort of lobby or room service. They dont, but I cant complain about that because I assumed rather than asking. Its a nice place and okay for the price- just be forewarned, the room may be much smaller than you think. Good location. Also, the hotel had a mirror hotel (the other part of the hotel?) across the street. That was confusing because the website doesnt let on. Maybe the other one had more of a lobby than the hall way we walked in to check-in. No one could get by our luggage to the elevator as we checked in or out standing at the desk. No bellhop. NYC hotels are pricey, so again, maybe (MAYBE!!!) its okay for the price, but my mother and I will not return.
Nice rooms with a basic kitchenette available, a rarity in the city. The rooms are clean, the balconies are useless and the amenities are few but the location is terrific with a subway stop half of a block away and numerous restaurants and bars nearby. The Wi-Fi service is terrible so dont stay here if youre traveling on business but do book here if you want to explore the city but still have a place to unwind from the frenetic pace.
Immediately when I walked into Hotel 32 32 the staff were very nice and welcoming. Throughout my stay we would have nice conversations and everytime I went to grab my free breakfast coupon I would be greeted with a good morning. The room was very modern and clean, with lots of space for a manhattan hotel. The location provided for an easy walk to great restaurants, the subway system, and Broadway shows. Even after I had left the city the staff continued to exceed expectations. About four hours outside the city I realized Id left almost $100 in my room. After a few calls back and forth, room service went to the room and retrieved all of the money, which I now have. I couldnt have asked for anything much better than the room and staff of Hotel 32 32.
3232 is basically my East Coast home. I stay here a week every month while working in NYC. The location is perfect, as it easily allows me to get anywhere I need to be quickly and conveniently .I absolutely love this sweet boutique hotel. The staff is the best and their employee retention is so high, I always see the same, thoughtful faces every visit.
Small but modern and well-designed room with kitchenette. Remarkably quiet for midtown Manhattan. Arrangements with off-site locations for gym and breakfast a nice option. Note there is a small daily service charge that covers your WiFi, food, gym, etc. No lobby really. DIY luggage storage area. Great place seasoned travellers.
I travel roughly ten times a year and staying Hotel 32 32 in New York was definitely one of the best experiences Ive had, anywhere. Central location, clean facilities, and friendly staff all made for an excellent week. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to enjoy NYC! One thing Id add is that the building used to be an apartment, so the layout may seem foreign to some, but its a boutique hotel at a really good value! Thanks for being extra helpful, Luis!
The service was better than other reviewers found, but the room wasnt quite as good. Heres my take:Pros:- Great location- Comped entry to Crunch Fitness a block away- Clean room- Helpful with my requestsCons:- Room smaller than advertised- No restaurant/vending/Biz/lobby- Address on Maps is not the check in area- Pretty cheap bed/bedding- Very slow wifi speeds
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived at JFK 8 am on a very rainy, chilly day. By the time we actually got there, it was a little over 10 am. The concierge person was very welcoming and began the process for early-check in for no fee. She also held the luggage for us while we walked out for brunch. There is no lobby, no bar, or restaurant at this hotel. There are two buildings that belong to Hotel 32 32. One building is right across the street from another (each building has 50 rooms). We didnt mind that at all. And other reviews said that this hotel gives out breakfast vouchers but we didnt receive any. Could be because we stayed over the weekend. Again, we didnt care since we had plans to eat at different places.Check-in process was painless, we stayed on the 14th floor- a standard studio with a full size bed with a small balcony. Location is super awesome, right in the heart of K town. Just a few blocks away from Empire State and subway stations and 15 min walking distance from TS. Wifi was fast, shower was great, and the bed was so comfy. The view was meh but NYs weather was not good anyway.I would totally stay here again and my husband also enjoyed the stay.
Never again. It was 4days of nightmareWe stayed here last year in Aug and everything was great even sofa bed was comfortable than i expected. So this year we decided to come back.We booked Queen premier with balcony and sofa bed for 3 ppl for 4nights(same as what we did last year). The hotel put us on North building floor16. Turned out a bed was not a QUEEN size but just a FULL size and sofa bed was unexceptable. It was so old and there was no cusion left. It wasnt fit for human being. There is noway anyone can sleep on that sofa bed with hard metal poles right on you back and ass.(I ended up slept on a floor because i was too tired to change a room). So next day they moved us to a room they claimed as an upgrade with bigger balcony and better sofabed on floor10. Well, sofabed was ok (not180 degree flat though) and balcony was big as they claimed.BUT there was a giant noisy ventilation building FAN on that balcony right next tomy sofabed. It was so noisy and i could feel vibration from that fan.Hotel reception said they couldnt do anything because its a fan for a whole building. SO I ended up couldnt sleep on my2nd night. The question is why the hotel moved us there? Why they didnt mention there is noisy fan in that room? My relative who stay on 15fl also said he could hear that fan when they were on balcobny even they were5 floor above!(it was perfectly fine in the room though)Not to mention that TV remote control is not working so we need to called and ask someone to come fix it. (why it was so hard for hotel to just accomadate us??? Bed and TV are just basic things. Why i need to call reception everyday?)Hotel reception couldnt do anything beside keep saying sorry. One option he gave us was change the room and pay extra$100++! So we talked to a hotel manager. Mike was nice and moved us (3rd time, yes we move everyday!) to opposite building on 15fl.This room was nice BUT there was weird noise from a wall. Something sounds like an engine. It was on and off all night. So 3rd night at hitel32 32, i also couldnt sleep well. I didnt complain this to hotel receotion because i already gave up on this hotel. My plan was just to take sleeping pill on my last night(4th night) here. Just drug myself and have enough rest because i need to drive next day.(Not to mention FIRE ALARM at 3AM.! Yes 3AM. I called reception and they said they were fixing!)BUT hotel32 32 havnt done giving me a surprise! On my last night, it was raining 43f day and there was no HOT water to shower! We went back to hotel at 5pm and figured that no hot shower so we wait till 9.30pm. i called hotel reception and asked how long for the wait. He just simply said he didnt know! Well, if the hotel coulndt answer this, who else can? So went to bed with no shower after a long wet day. It was nightmare staying here. 4nights that i never get a chace to sleep well. Oh and room key cards werent working everyday so i ended up have to coming down to cahnge my keys everyday!Bed,TV, Hot shower and key are just basic things they should be able to accomadate us. Never again hotel 32 32. ******This is not a 4stars hotel*****
Simple and small rooms. Great for the price and location, but I knock them for the confusion over having two towers right across the street from each other. A sign would help. Stayed for 3 nights and it seems like the housekeepers would always forget something. First it was soaps and shampoos, next night it was towels.
It served its purpose which was one night only in NYC. Clean room, comfortable bed, the guy in the front desk was very friendly. However, the entrance to this hotel is not the prettiest and we had to take our breakfast like two blocks away which was not a pleasing idea.
Room was smaller than expected but large rooftop deck made up for that. This hotel actually has two towers, a north and south, across the street from each other. The room i purchased ($715) advertised an Empire State Building view and did not have one. Upon bringing this to the attention of the front desk I was told the views were in the rooms opposite tower... of course reserved. If the room had been what was advertised I would have given it 4 stars.
Its got the basic for people who just want a place to sleep. Rooms are small and cozy. They have a small refrigerator, safe, cable tv, snacks, a couple drawers and a closet. Bathrooms super clean and modern, shampoo and all that except for toothpaste offered. Dont give it fove stars because when we booked they offered breakfast included and the room had a balcony. Balcony faced a back alley (they didnt show that in pictures) and breakfast was indeed free but didnt tell us we had to go to a cafe next to the hotel to have it.
If youre looking to stay at this hotel, DONT. Theyre very scandalous, not honest and untrustworthy. This was not my first time staying at the hotel but it was my last. It was nice to began with but my last trip was horrible because of them and also my experience.Ive stayed at this hotel 4 to 5 times since last year, since I had bad experiences with other hotels however this hotel seem to catch my eye, It was very nice at first with great staff members, good prices and very clean. However; I always booked my rooms through expedia, this time I decided not too. I booked straight through the Hotel 32 website and paid for my reservation through there. On March 31st, I booked a full superior room for April 4th to April 6th for $479.43 with taxes included. Upon arriving to the hotel, youre not allowed to check in for this specific room until 1:30 PM. Me and my family knew about this already so we decided to drop our luggage off and shop around until it was time to check in. After shopping for the day, we arrived back to the hotel around 12PM and was allowed to check in around 12:30 PM. We paid a deposit of $175.00 as usual and the everyday fee of about $32.00, or so. Upon arriving upstairs to our room, It was NOT the room we booked online. Instead of getting a full superior; we were given a studio room, and the hotel did not let us know that the room was sold out and didnt even think about telling us or giving us a reimbursement of a partial refund. However, it was okay.. except my brother had NO where to sleep. We called downstairs to see if we could get a sofa bed or roll in bed and the staff declined that we couldnt get one because of how small the room is BUT was that our fault that the room we originally ordered was sold out?! I mean cmon, we shouldve been made noticed of this before we even arrived to the hotel! Anyways, further more on my brother decided to make a sleeping palette onto the floor.Me and my family decided to go out for rest of the night, and got some very bad news and had a family emergency and had to return back home which would interrupt our trip and stay here at Hotel 32. We rushed back as soon as possible to our room, upon getting upstairs off the elevator; the hallway was filled with SMOKE and so was our room. Our stove and oven had came on by itself; and we were even made noticed of. IF we wouldve never said anything to the staff about this, our room couldve probably caught on fire and we wouldve might of lost our luggage and items we brought with us here. Luckily, the staff member was able to turn the stove off; me and my family returned downstairs to let the staff know that we would also be checking out the very next day on April 5th; and would not be able to complete our stay here. The staff agreed that it was alright and that our deposit of $175.00 would come back onto our card within 3 to 5 business days. The next morning of us getting ready to check back out, the stove comes back on and our room is filled with smoke; it is EXTREMELY hot guys and the staff did not do anything about it or came to check back up on me or my family to see if we were ok. Im not lying at all, it was crazy. Ive never experienced anything like this staying at any of the previous hotels, Ive been in before coming to this one.Once me and my family got back home, around April 8th to April 10th; we kept checking back our account to see if the deposit from the hotel arrived back and it did not. We checked through our transactions to only see that we were charged $54.44 from Hotel 32 on April 10th; EVEN THOUGH we been checked out from the hotel on April 5th. When we called to see why we were charged, they accused us of taking things off the counter when we didnt touch anything and looked over the room to make sure everything wasnt missing and in the right place. They told us they took the $54.44 out of our deposit and that the deposit was also applied back which it was not. And even IF, they took the charge out of our deposit we were atleast supposed to get $120 back from Hotel 32.
There are two of these buildings. Theres a North tower and the other across the street. Room was small but thats not a problem unless you dont like small rooms. Bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable! The shower has half glass opening so as long as you stay where that is you wont get water on the floor (drop a towel anyway haha). Reception people are very nice and courteous. 7/11 is a block and a half away. Five guys is half a block away and a chicken restuarant on the corner along with the #6 train down the block and this place is just an awesome place. On a side note.......dont take the candys....ours last week (January 12th) were stale.
Ultra overpriced motel... with no breakfast. costed me almost 500$ , you get the classic motel AC, a kitchen that you totally dont need (if you spend that money you can afford a sandwich somewhere?) and no breakfast sorry sir there is a dely aroudn the corner. There is only one elevator that is always somewhere else busy, so i ended up using stairs at least to go down many times.
I am beyond disappointed in the service here at Hotel 32|32. An hour after checking out of my hotel room I realized I had left my Apple watch on the bed. I immediately called and their response was I will call you if it turns up. I had to ask for immediate attention and if they would go look for me quickly. To that they again said give us your number we will call if it turns up. They never called.I have since called back three days in the row and of course nothing has turned up. I am saddened by the dishonesty of the staff and the inability to put a rush on the service of the customer when an item is lost less than an hour after checking out. The item was in the room and no one seemed to care to return it to its owner. What a shame!
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The reviews from the websites are not correct and misleading.- there is no lobby in this hotel. No concierge, No spa, No gym.- this place should be called as a Hostel, Not a Hotel as they do not provide services which so called Hotel should do.- no hair drier in the room. I request it and took 30 min to bring.- very small room. not designed well.- pillows-bed very uncomfortable- so small bathroom. you cant not even close a door of the bath without moving things around.- over-priced. alot better hotels around with the priceoverall, due to the poor service, facility and over-price, this 32 32 hotel is NOT Recommended to Travelers and be aware of the misleading reviews on the websitesthe only one positive thing is the location of hotel.
My husband and I stayed here recently to celebrate. I would love to visit again in the near future. A great hotel with an excellent location. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. Special mention should be give about the staff who is extra courteous.
I do not like the size of the rooms I dont like that they dont offer with hot tub or a whirlpool tub or just a tub for two we are we were offered this sweet and when we got there since theyre sweets were now filled we were giving a different room which this room was tight the paint on the wall were scuffed pretty badly oh yeah and about the tub we specifically asked for one and they did not provide I really didnt like it and I will not return
The hotel is good. The room was nice. Wi-Fi worked. The included breakfast is at a cafe down the street. It was OK, but slow. The options for hotel guests were also more limited. Id have preferred just getting a gift card to the cafe. This is the main reason for me knocking a star off.
Hotel 32 32 is located in Koreatown. A wonderful neighborhood of many ethnic eateries and short walking distance to 5th Ave/34th Street and/or Herald Square where you can shop until you drop. Our room was small, smaller than expected. However, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean. If you require a place just to shower and sleep, this hotel is suitable. Some folks require larger rooms to relax more hours during the day. BTW, front desk staff is courteous and professional. A SPECIAL APPRECIATION goes to Evelyn going above and beyond her service requirements. An asset to the hotel.
When you check in they have tou sign a waiver where it says that they are not responsible for anything that comes up missing, 175$ hold on credit card, pics look nice its fake pics never saw any of them, bed was nasty, advertised as 4 star would not give it 1 star, paid nearly $300 a night worst ever.
I left my umbrella there, called, gave them details of where i was sitting and they put me on hold to go check, said they found nothing and i gave them more details about what i ordered and where we were seated as the bartender might remember our drinks and they put me on hold again and came back and said there was nothing there. I decided to walk back to check for myself since i had to pick something up from the office and found my umbrella right there where I had left it. The lounge bar upfront seats maybe 10 people outside of the stool bar area that seats 4, not sure how you miss it unless you didnt bother looking. I get it its an umbrella not worth your time but now not worth spending more money here.
Not your typical hotel room. More like an IKEA display. Walls are paper thin and when anyone else on your floor is talking it sounds like they are in your room. But the worst was the toilet in the bathroom made a ridiculously loud sound 90% of the time as if it is being flushed (though it was not).

2022-05-21Very boutique-style, compact hotel. The location was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked that there was a balcony given the limited space. I didnt stay in the room much due to being on vacation, but the bed was comfortable and there was no noise issues. I wished there was daily housekeeping though. I also didnt get a chance to try the restaurant or bar inside. I enjoyed my stay!

2022-02-14The staff member who handled my check in was really nice and friendly. Upon my arrival the room I was given had such a horrible odor. The in room fridge smelled horrible. The first room I was given had an alarm clock along side the bed. I called down to the front desk where the person at the front desk was able to find another room. I was than given an identical room on a higher floor (I initially sent an email requesting the room on the highest floor which wasnt honored initially) The 2nd room I was given had a much better smell but the wooden floor was horribly scratched. Unfortunately this room did not have an alarm clock present in the room. I did not like the fact that the beds are directly behind the entrance door. I also dont like that there is no way to look out into the hallway in the event if someone knocks on the door (there is no peephole), you would have to completely open the door. This is a quick stay, nothing fancy. It was cool... I found this hotel because It was reasonably priced for what I was looking for (balcony in room).

2022-02-01Really nice room. And spacious. Luckily the 2nd floor had patios, which is big for a whole party, its just unfortunate it was snowing and cold. 2 bathroom, kitchen with all the essentials and only two units per floor. I recommend the north tower definitely.

2021-12-04Stayed for 4 nights the first week of December. Everything met my expectations. The location was perfect for tourism needs, centrally located and close to everything. Rooms are definitely small and dingy, but great if you just plan on sleeping there and being out all day. The rooms were mostly clean, could’ve been swept a little better and the AC didn’t work well, but nothing that made me uncomfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I return to NYC.

2022-04-24BEWARE! Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. Total RIP-OFF. Dirty rooms and misleading advertising. This is a two star hotel at best. I don’t know how they managed to get a 4 star rating, honestly. I also have no idea how they have so many good reviews. As we witnessed numerous clients complaining to front desk staff regarding their rooms during my short stay.Room 404: If you paid for a queen bed and they put you in room 404, demand for a room change. The staff will insist that it is a queen bed, but it is not. They’ll also give you attitude when you ask to receive the room you paid for. It’s a queen bed frame with a full size mattress. There was a large gap between the mattress and frame all around. Furthermore, the bed was either broken or the mattress was in an unacceptable state. My boyfriend and I could barely fit in the bed together (we are slim) and the bed was so dented in that our feet and heads were about 10 inches higher then our hips. Also, the TINIEST room I’ve ever seen in my life. Shower leaks all over the floor. The water temperature nob does not stay put and constantly rotates, so you have to hold it in place as you shower otherwise the water temperature will rapidly change. Both rooms: AC does not work, only pushes out hot air. Bed sheets are stained and ripped. Mattress is stained. Towels are also covered in stains. Walls and curtains are heavily stained. The walls all need a good scrub. The curtains should either be deep cleaned or replaced. Ugliest view.Smoking is encouraged as there is an ashtray in the bedroom. You better like the smell of cigarettes and weed, cause that’s the aroma of this entire hotel.Very disappointed and will make sure none of my friends or family will stay here. Have already suggested that friends who are visiting NYC next month stay elsewhere. This place is not worth the money, at all.

2022-06-29The hotel had a great location, but I have two gripes.1) They charge a random $60 fee. That is how they keep the prices low. Once you show up and they surprise you with a fee like that, you arent going to cancel your reservation.2) They didnt clean our room a single time in the 3 nights we stayed there. I guess you have to request to get your room cleaned...?

2022-01-25Pictures were kinda mis leading and room wasn’t very clean upon arriving. Almost hesitated on leaving after finding out no other rooms were available with balcony, but then there was Sandra. She saved the stay. She was so attentive and helpful with all request. She deserves a 5 star rating

2022-06-03One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The prices on google are a lie because I was charged an astronomical amount for a two night stay. There is literally nothing in this hotel, it should be called a motel. We apparently got a room in the north building where there is no lobby and the person at the counter didn’t know anything. We couldn’t even get water there and the hallways are so small you can barely fit your luggage through. There is one tiny elevator that is dirty and clunky and just not it. I was so embarrassed to have brought my parents here after how much I had to pay. The staff are unprofessional and when I called about how much I was charged the person on the other line was getting mad at me. I’m so disappointed by this hotel.

2022-07-10Do not book/ stay at this “ hotel” if you have any other options. False advertising, we booked a family vacation and I have to say this was the worst “ hotel” I / we have ever experienced. The were put into the south tower, it’s like a dingy , shady apartment building , front desk person(s) are not professional at all. No feeling of a welcome to our hotel. No basics amenities, no water provided for guest. No smoking in the rooms but the floor we stayed on reaked of marijuana . Dirty rooms . This is not a hotel, more like a hostile with your own restroom. Beware before booking! Do not stay here and it is fit for family stay . I would give place a 0 if able to.

2022-04-21Pictures can definitely be deceiving, room was smaller than I imagined. The refrigerator wasn’t working but because of such a busy area to find parking I was already tired to switch rooms. The room doesn’t have a telephone where you can call the front desk so you would have to use your cellphone to call. The balcony is extremely small, the views are abandon buildings. Lady at the front desk was sarcastically rude. With all that being said, for me it was a waste of money and it didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel whatsoever.
