The view of the Hudson River is great from the dining room. The place looks brand new inside. The bar is well lit and stocked pretty well. The lump crab cakes are very high quality. The steaks are amazing and juicy. I suggest you get the truffle Mashed potatoes and creamed spinach as your sides. There is street parking so keep that in mind.
Went to Hudson Prime tonight with my boyfriend let me tell you we were blown away! Our server Davin was great, a total professional. He recommended the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes as an appetizer, what a phenomenal choice; probably the best crab cakes you can find in the Westchester area! My boyfriend ordered the Ribeye and onion rings as his side and I ordered the Filet & Lobster Tail surf and turf which came with truffled mash and asparagus. The steaks were cooked to perfection and devoured in about 5 minutes & the truffle mash was delicious ! The owner greeted us during our dinner to make sure everything was great. The view is beautiful and the inside is decorated tastefully. Overall it was a great experience and I can not wait to go back. If you are in the Westchester area make sure to try this steakhouse at least once!
The BEST Steakhouse in NY! Classy, and modern with a traditional steakhouse vibe. Favorite steak is the bone in Tomahawk! All side dishes are fabulous! Truffle mashed, Brussels sprout salad, shrimp cocktail, and french onion soup to name a few. Cocktails by Sergio are perfecto! The service staff is attentive, and professional. Meagan is a star!If you’re a true steak lover, Hudson Prime is a MUST visit.
My fiancé and I got engaged last Saturday and had dinner at Hudson Prime Steakhouse to celebrate with our families. We could not have picked a more perfect place to have this celebration!The space is beautiful! We had a large party and sat at great spot on the outdoor patio. There was plenty of room for us, and the patio had a great ambience for our party.The service was wonderful! The restaurant staff was very attentive, and made sure they were available to help with all of our needs. They were very welcoming, accommodating, kind, and ensured that our dinner celebration went smoothly.The food is exquisite! We had a large party, so we must have ordered over half of the items on the menu. From the seafood to the steak, appetizers, sides, and mains - everything was delicious! You could taste that so much care went into the preparation of the food - the same way that so much care went into the set up of the ambience, and quality of service.I would be happy to go back again - highly recommend!
A have-to-go place in the Rivertowns (and Westchester!) My friends and I started with apps. The tuna tartare was insane… like it was fresh off the boat. The broiled oysters were cooked to absolute perfection and tasted phenomenal. The crab cakes were also amazing.For the entree we had a porterhouse for two and a fillet mignon (cooked medium.) It was cooked exactly medium… it’s hard to find a steakhouse that cooks it so perfectly. You could taste the age in the steak and it was well worth it. For sides we had the spinach, mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese. All of the sides were delicious.Desert we had tiramisu and flaming cheese cake. The flaming cheese cake was topped with Grand Mariner and obviously lit with a flame. It was amazing… and the tiramisu? Fluffy and tasted amazing.If you’re in the area, or even the city… take the ride up to Hudson Prime. You will NOT be disappointed!

I took my wife & mother there for Mother’s Day & I must say it was all excellent, I highly recommend one of the best steakhouse around.
Excellent steak house, our waiter could have smiled at least once, maybe just an off night for him, I would go back again though, well worth it.
Took my wife here tonight for her birthday and we had a great time. Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Our server Davin made our evening great. Nice looking place with a great view. I rarely give reviews so give them a try on that special night.
The nicest experience. Loved the service from Sergio and Zeke. This was our first visit so we ordered the classic porterhouse , creamed spinach, and truffle mashed. Absolutely perfect. Looking forward to trying all of the appetizers. I will definitely return many times at the bar for an appetizer with a glass of wine. My friend enjoyed the espresso martini.

I had dinner at Hudson Prime on Wednesday evening 9/2. It was a wonderful dining experience. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. My steak was done to perfection and the bread pudding was a winner. The restaurant is beautiful. I will definitely return with my friends next month.Hudson Prime deserves 5 stars.
The food was wonderful!!! We got the filet mignon with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of lobster Mac and cheese, and YUMMMM! Perfect amount of food and the flavors are out of this world. The service was also GREAT, valet parking is a bonus!!!I also want to thank Hudson Prime Steakhouse for reading my instructions on my reservation in regards to my husbands birthday, he was surprised and had no idea how they knew!!Thank you again truly amazing and we will be back!
What an unexpected surprise!A first-class, yet reasonably priced steakhouse on Main Street Irvington.My wife and I walked by during the day and were not sure what to make of things (its newly opened) but decided to give it a try last evening. We are so happy we did. The food was outstanding from start to finish, and we felt reasonably priced for the full steakhouse experience. The wine list is manageable and the house wines by the glass were from known producers and a bargain. Bar service was impeccable. The staff was attentive but not overbearing. Professional all-around.The place itself looks to be renovated top-to-bottom, and was serene and relaxing. Though we sat inside, with a great view of the Hudson, there was an outdoor patio overlooking the river, and a private wine cellar dining room that looked like it could seat over a dozen.We will definitely be back, on a regular basis. Even if just for drinks and appetizers at the bar, or to have a glass of wine on the patio.
The steak was excellent. We got the Tomahawk for 2. We go to a lot of steak houses in New York City and this was just as good as the top steakhouses. The drinks were amazing. We got the tuna tartar and the shrimp for appetizer and both were amazing. Zeke was an amazing waiter.
My son took me out for my Birthday and the food was amazing!!! The crab cakes were spectacular and the view was great as well. Our server Arif provided us excellent service. I’ll definitely be back.
Ive had the pleasure of having two meals at Hudson Prime since it opened - I look forward to my next visit. I had an amazing meal and amazing service, which is what I expect from a high-end steakhouse. Gino and Floria put their heart and soul into their new baby and it shows. The decor is divine, the mood is relaxing and the view of the Hudson is to die for - highly recommended!!
This was our second visit, and while I gave them a glowing review previously, I am not as enthusiastic this time. I started with the grilled octopus which was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, perfectly charred on the outside and extremely tender in the middle, with tri color potatoes and beans. My wife started with artichoke hearts which were also wonderful. Dinner was not as good, I ordered the porterhouse for one which was a bit tough and did not have the aged flavor. The first time I went I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and it was spectacular. My steak came out on a blazing hot platter and continued to cook, so my medium rare steak became medium well. My wife’s veal chop had a delicious Marsala sauce, but this was also overcooked. I am writing this in hopes they get back to being the best, I was disappointed on my birthday.
Good service. But it’s not a high end steakhouse. The food was just ok. For the price I’d go to Ruth’s Chris or Del Friscos. Chewy lobster, not fresh. Over peppered scallops. Crab cakes were messy one was broken. Salads were good. Hopefully with time the kitchen improves. Beautiful restaurant inside. - I am updating my review, after giving the restaurant another shot this weekend, I can say it was night and day difference. The food was phenomenal this time. Everything was made perfectly. I think we went too early our first time. EXCELLENT.
Love this place! First time having Wagu! Yum! Friendly staff and great cocktails and now they have Happy Hour food and drinks! Oh and their new Brunch menu!! Delish!!!
Went there for my sons birthday. Although they didnt do anything special for the occasion (I mentioned it when I made the reservation a day before) the food and staff were knowledgeable, professional and polite. I ordered the filet mignon, medium rare with a side of mushrooms, a side of broccoli and a side of truffle mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. The drinks were on point as well as the tiramisu we had for dessert. Absolutely decadent. I highly recommend this place to take that special someone or just for really good food and drinks.
Excellent evening at Hudson Prime Steak. We experienced a wonderful welcome and cocktails from Sergio. The night progressed with excellent service and conversation from Davin, highly recommend you visit him. Food was delicious and the decor lovely. This place has a lot of issues. It seemed like a very long time before we even got out drink order in. The clams were cold, the tuna tartar felt more like avocado with a side of tuna. The tuna didnt seem high quality. It wasnt ruby red, the color seemed muddled. The steak was good but there were bones in everything, including the NY strip (contributing to the 15 oz). The best part was when we ordered the creamed spinach but we asked it to be sauteed, not creamed. They decided to wait until they served our steaks that our spinach cannot be sauteed. Also, the restaurant was an ice box.
This place is a must try in Irvington. They have a wine seller downstairs. The bar is great; the dining room as well. They also own the Italian restaurant in Hastings. Gino the owner came over, was very friendly and nice said my food took long- you crazy? It took 10 minute’s. I will be returning here for sure. They make you feel like family here, Gino said he would take me in the kitchen- I’m gonna hold you to that! Zeke and his best friend were awesome and are from Yonkers!

Had a nice dinner with my husband last Saturday, 9/18. We had a 7:00pm reservation and when we arrived, the restaurant was not overly packed but did fill up later. We each had a glass of wine, bottle of sparkling water. For starters, we split the wedge salad (which was excellent) and tuna tartar (which was also good but the avocado creme had a little too much wasabi in it). For dinner, my husband had the filet mignon which was cooked exactly how he requested (med. rare) and I had the branzino dish (which was good but not much going on with the dish, itself). The truffled mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were also very good.Well definitely look to try this place again!
From the moment you walk in you know you’re going into someplace special. Classy, Elegant yet Modern vibes not to mention they even have an outdoor area that you can overlook the Hudson River. Make sure to start with the mouth watering char-broiled oysters. You can’t go wrong with any of the steaks, I’ve had Tomahawk, Ribeye and WAGU. The Wagu is most delicious but all of them had amazing flavor. You can’t go wrong with any of the sides and for special occasions you can even dine in a private wine cellar for up to 16 guests. Also speaking of wine, any bottle of wine you order is poured in a decanter to let it properly breathe. This place is def the top steakhouse in all of Westchester.
My mind was blown when I tasted the first bite of steak! Better than NYC steakhouse with service that makes you feel like you are on Park Ave and not in Irvington. What a hidden treasure this place is, highly recommend!!
My sizzling Filet Mignonette was delicious and the table service was attentive. Our waiter suggested a reasonably-priced Cabernet Sauvignon, which paired nicely with the meal. There were also plenty of tempting seafood options. The dining room is inviting and has a great view of the river. The higher steakhouse prices will limit my visits to special occasions. Overall, Hudson Prime Steakhouse is a great addition to the Rivertowns.
We have eaten at probably all the local steakhouses, and this one is far and away the best one we have been to. The food was excellent, the ambiance was beautiful, the service was amazing, the bar tender knocked our drinks out of the park, and I could go on. We will definitely go back! You should all run to make a reservation!

A nice place for a brunch after the Lyndhurst visit. After reading excellent reviews we had high expectations for the food. It was ok, a nice meal. The service was great. The restaurant seems to be newly renovated, good ambience.
Finally a local place for great steaks and great drinks, not to mention outrageous seafood! The staff was polite and courteous and were meet and seated by the owner. Very happy experience and cant wait to go back! Wanna try that infamous tomahawk steak!

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with Hudson river views and as soon as you walk in you can smell the scent of cooked, dry aged beef, which really gets your appetite going! Our server, Zeke was pleasant and efficient. The food is excellent in every way with plenty of fish and non-steak items. We had a couple of orders of the grilled oysters, and the fried artichoke hearts and they were both super superb. For entrées we had the Seabass which was a very large portion and very tender and fresh. We also had the black ink linguine with seafood which was also delicious and as for the steaks; We had a filet mignon and a perfectly cooked dry aged ribeye. The ribeye was the best I have had in several years and we go to many great steak houses. Desserts were a crème brûlée cheesecake which was out of this world and the pistachio cake which was outstanding.We strongly recommend you try this restaurant if you’re looking for either a great steak or great Italian food. Can’t wait to go back.

Got a last minute reservation last night for a group of 8. Our meal was fantastic. The porterhouse was one of the best that we’ve had. Service was great and we definitely plan to go back. Very pretty restaurant as well.

Hidden gem, great service, our server zeik made excellent recommendations from the malbec Argentinean wine to the home made Brule cheesecake. I will absolutely come back. One of the only place around that offer A5 wagu Japanese steak. Absolutely delicious.

2022-07-03It is a very nice restaurant and first class all the way around. Very clean and respectful. The staff is dressed to the tee. Respectful, helpful and extremely polite. Theyre quick to accommodate you and your needs. The dining experience from the design of the rooms and decor to the plates and silverware are outstanding. The food was excellent. We went for brunch so I had the eggs Benedict. I loved them. Plus you get a nice size portion. I cant wait to go back next week for their steaks which I understand are very good. All dry aged meats.

2021-12-24Wonderful meal! Wonderful wine! I went for a team dinner. We had the seafood tower, which was extremely fresh. Grilled oysters and the taco trio were great as well, but the star of the appetizer show was definitely the octopus. I expected to go and enjoy the steak, which I did, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how equally amazing the appetizers were. Will definitely be back.

2022-05-03Hudson prime steakhouse never disappoints! I personally love seafood so don’t think this place is all about steak! (Although their steaks are definitely a cut above the rest!) I love their oysters and Chilean sea bass. Recently they launched a brunch menu and I was seriously blown away. My husband who is never really pleased with anything was over the moon with their steak and eggs. We have dined at the best steakhouses in Westchester County and Hudson Prime had the best steak he has ever had! I was obsessed with the crab cake eggs Benedict as well.We retuned for a family birthday brunch and 3 family members couldn’t stop raving about the chicken and waffles! Everything is seriously perfection, from the waitstaff to the bar tender, and the owners Gino & Floria are delightful they make you feel like part of their family.Also noteworthy, while I usually come without my children, for my mothers celebration we brought the little ones with us, the waiter made sure everything was kid friendly and my children (3&4 yrs old) had an amazing meal ( best steak fries everrr)

It’s the absolute perfect place for a celebratory dinner, a romantic date, or a delicious indulgence. The owner, Gino, set a standard for food, design and service that is unrivaled. The porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the truffle mashed potatoes were so fantastic we were fighting for the last bite! End your meal with the espresso martini. You will remember this amazing meal and luxurious ambiance for a long time!

2022-03-065 star experience.The restaurant is situated in A lovely old Victorian house although when you walk in, it’s been refurbished into A modern dining room with a fully stocked bar. The ambience inside the restaurant is just perfect, with a big window at the end of the dinning room with A stellar view of the Hudson. The service from the staff was great, their knowledgeable but friendly. Accommodating my wife with her food allergies was no problem nor made A problem. We ordered the tomahawk steak for 2 which came out sizzling hot on the plate which FYI was huge it could probably serve 3. It was truly delicious, great flavor, buttery goodness. At 110 dollars That’s extremely reasonable compared to other similar establishments. This restaurant is perfect for A date night or A classy evening with friends or family.

2022-05-05I had dinner here last week and I was extremely impressed. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and in an excellent location. There is an outdoor and indoor seating area, as well as a nice view of the Hudson river. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I asked them for recommendations on what to order and they recommended some excellent food. The food is delicious and I would highly recommend eating here to anyone!

2022-06-29My first visit to Hudson Prime did not disappoint the server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Very nice wine list which is a must at a steakhouse and most of all the food was excellent we had the thick cut bacon for appetizer which is a must trust me and the the 32oz Tomahawk Steak which was cooked to perfection and more than enough for 2. The restaurant itself is very nicely appointed and comfortable with a great outdoor deck. So definitely make this a must for your next visit to a steakhouse.

2022-06-03Delicious food, perfectly cooked steak, and lovely staff! We went here for a special celebration and I could not have finished my meal happier. When you go, dont skip the appetizers, especially the artichoke. Sides and steak sauces were also wonderful. We got the chimichurri and red wine bordelaise sauces, creamed spinach and broccoli sides. The staff was welcoming and quick to offer wine suggestions and personal opinions on the food. Try to sit in the back room or outdoors if possible so you can get the beautiful views of the Hudson.
