My wife and I happened upon Hudson Shawarma yesterday for a late lunch. To be quite honest, I went looking for another restaurant and upon seeing they were no longer there, I was so lost as to what I should eat. I’m a vegetarian and there aren’t a lot of options! WRONG, guess who just opened a few months ago? That’s right, Sage and her fabulous; Falafel wrap with (omg) the best hummus I have had in years, a tangy pickled eggplant salad and the moistest and yummiest Baklava I have had in a really long. I was so excited, that I forgot to take a photo. But fret not, lucky me took home a cup of her homemade lentil soup and more eggplant salad and took a photo before devouring!It was an absolute pleasure meeting you sage and both of us know you’re going to be an absolute success. We need beautiful clean food and you provided.

The food here is the best. Were vegetarian so we ordered salad, hummus and falafel. Wow! The salad was amazing and the falafel was so fresh, not greasy at all. And the baklava?? Oh my....just get some! Melt in your mouth delicious. Were visiting the area so we ordered extra hummus and pita to take back to our hotel room.

Wonderful guy running this, who is clearly passionate about his food. He’s right to be, delicious falafel. Would definitely recommend, and he was very helpful offering salad and chips as a side instead of a wrap.

My go-to spot for the best falafel, hummus and shawarma in the Hudson Valley. Absolutely delicious food prepared on the spot by the owner, who pours her love for Mediterranean cuisine into each and every meal. I try and go here at least once a week since located on the heart of Main Street in Beacon. The perfect place for both locals and visitors alike. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in the region. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it writing this review. 10/10

Found a whole in a wall and found The best Shawarma spot I’ve ever had in Hudson valley. Sage is such a sweet and friendly person. I will definitely be long term customer.

The food is delectable and matches the the people who serve it. Best fresh hummus hands down, and chicken (just shaved to cook) fajitas and eggplant. A definite purposeful return is on my mind when I think of Beacon.
