Graduated from the program, learned a ton of great tips and tricks, and landed a job as a barber thanks to this program! Its a place with a great environment, friendly people. Overall I had an awesome experience as a student and its a great place to get your haircut.
Came in to get about 3 inches off, and had Seneca do my cut. This was the first time I had a man cut my hair, and it was amazing! He did such a clean job and made sure his trainee was aware of what was happening.

Seneca is a super professional at his trade and delivers a one of a kind product.. a CLEAN, thorough haircut! The setting in the shop is an eclectic venue with a comfortable waiting room and dope beats pumpin the whole time! This was my 2nd time there and I honestly am looking forward to going back! The prices are competitive with other establishments. These days I have no problem spending extra money for exceptional sevice! Point being this is the barbershop for all! So go check them out! Seneca is the best, an excellent master barber, I have been using him and his students for years and always am happy with the work done, I totally recommend getting your hair cut here
I first reached out to Seneca back in 2012 to inquire about pursuing a career in barbering.. I started at the school that fall and the rest is history. I learned the very basics of mens hair cutting as well as lessons in customer service in the barbershop. Seneca is a legend here in the hudson valley when it comes to barbering and his school has put out some of the best barbers in the county... I now have my own shop with an extensive clientele and it all started with the help of that man when he took me under his wing and showed me the ropes, I owe a lot of my success to that man as well as the knowledge I obtained about the trade of barbering in his school
I live and work in Midtown Manhattan--this is one of the best haircuts Ive ever been lucky enough to receive. Mr. King could not have been more professional, courteous or kind.
Senneca has been a great friend and mentor to me and my family over the years. Many don’t know but the barber institute he created in Middletown allowed many young entrepreneurs to start and possibly expand their own businesses. I see Senneca every week for my weekly haircut for work and he’s always on time and on point and if not he’ll give you a call to let you know he’s running late or can’t make it. It took me forever to get this review but Senneca is a true leader in the community. Helping and also giving back to Middletown. A city I love. He recently helped advise me through my first home buying process. He is a jack of all trades when it comes to the art and tradition of business.

2022-06-25I was a walk-in and Terry hooked me up with a skin fade. Came out sharp. They also have hair cologne, smells great. I got “The Caesar”. If you’re in the area and need a cut this a clean, welcoming place. I definitely recommend.

From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a warm inviting experience. From the barista station, to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I had stopped after desperately searching for a barber after I was ignored at a neighboring barbershop where customer service was obviously not paramount. Cyn and Terry are true gentleman and true barbers. I can not praise this place enough! They also offer 1/2 price cuts if completed by a student as this also serves as a barber school. I will definitely be returning ! Thanks again, Fellas!

2020-04-03Seneca taught me everything I know about cutting hair, and being a professional in this business. I have been a barber for almost 14 years and own/operate a shop in the Hudson Valley. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his influence and inspiration. A true leader in the community, and effecting the people in a positive way through his profession. I was lucky to have crossed paths with Seneca, and learn how to be a true professional in a trade that needs more of it. Thank you brother
