Ive purchased 5 new vehicles from 4 different dealerships in the last 5 years. When I came to need a new truck I did some online research amd set my heart on a 1500 bighorn, I filled out a request for contact form on the ram website. Within minutes of opening time I received a call from Shane. We spent a good hour discussing diffrent options and better educating myself on how all the different finance/ lease options would both work and how they would work for me. The very next day we made an appointment to meet (on his day off since it worked better for me). Having been screwed over by several major car dealerships in the area. I was a bit apprehensive, but Shane made sure I was completely understanding amd made sure I was well informed along the whole process. I will give some contructive criticism and say there was a point where he snapped at me when I was asking to read something before I signed it. The finance manager Jason was absolutely incredible both at his job (he got my rate down lower than originally agreed on when I went to do my pickup ) but also at being friendly and and all around great guy. To put my experience into one sentence Id have to say I just didnt feel like I was in a dealerships., it was almost like hanging out with some buddies and leaving with a beautiful new truck at the end. Hudson Valley CDJR will absolutely be my one and only place for all my car purchasing needs in the future and I suggest you make it yours too.
Update:Sean the owner reached out to me and acknowledged the lack of communication and said he was personally going to get things sorted out. A few days later I had the key in my hand and a replacement top that has now been installed. Thanks for taking care of it.-----TLDR - Horrific customer service, poor quality in certification. Definitely avoid if you want to feel like a valued customer or need any help with issuesLet me tell you why you should not go to this dealer -I put a deposit down on 5/3 for a 2017 JKU Sahara. I asked Sam to make sure there was a 2nd key available as they are fairly expensive. I will say that Sam did not inspire any kind of confidence or trust. When I came to sign the paperwork on 5/4 there was no 2nd key. After I insisted was able to get them to put the key on the dealer owes equipment sheet. Was told that I would get a call in a few days about the key (either the previous owner turned it in, or they would cut a new one)On 5/12 I still had not received a call. I called in and was put through to Sam who was incredibly curt. He said he would call me back. I assume he must have a great memory because he didnt ask for my name or number.5/14 - Still hadnt received a call back so I called in and asked for a manager. After being on hold was told he wasnt available and to leave a name and number for a call back5/15 - Still hadnt received a call back. That day I went to put the soft top that came with the Jeep on and discovered that they must not have checked it during the certification process as it had a mouse nest and a significant hole (see pics). Its un-useable. I tried to call in to discuss this new issue. Asked for a manager, was put through to Sam. Asked about the key and also told him about the hole. Again, Sam was curt, but I guess everyone has their own style. He said the key was being ordered and I would get a call about programming it. (Incidentally I called a different dealership and they said they could have a key there in 1 day for programming so not sure what the delay is) . About the hole he said I would need to talk to a manager. Got disconnected during the transfer and called them back. This time was put on a hold, then told the manager was with a customer to leave a name and number AGAIN and I would get a call back5/17 - Guess what -- no call back. I called in again and asked for a manager. Was put on hold then asked if this was about the 2nd key. I said no its about the hole in my soft top. I was put on hold, then hung up on.5/18 - Still havent received a call and not been able to have a serious conversation about how they are going to make good on the soft top. Im not holding my breath at this point in expecting a call back and will have to figure out what to do nextI get that used cars arent the best items for dealers, but a used wrangler still goes for more than a lot of new cars. Would be nice to feel like a customer (let alone a valued one).My advice - dont bother here its not worth the headache if something goes wrong.
March 26th 2022, what a day to remember. That day I picked up my brand new RAM 2500 BIG HORN Crew cab. Congratulations Hudson Valley Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and salesman Armond DiPalo. After trading in my 2016 RAM 2500, things are newer and smoother driving down any road. This special order was worth my wait. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for great service and an awesome vehicle. Thanks again to Armond my salesman for all his hard work and patience. Re: Debbie Pignotti,I went in for an oil change and while waiting for my car to be finished, I started to browse, Debbie approached me and asked if I was interested in purchasing a car, I told her I was in need of another car yes, but wasnt getting myself into anything for at least another month or so, I also told her the car that I had in mind (small talk) when she went into full sellers mode!!!! she explained all the ins and outs of every car I pointed out to her. long story short, I walked out of there, no, I DROVE out of there with my new 2019 jeep Cherokee. with all her knowledge about every car i pointed out to her, she sold me on the jeep of my dreams. shes a great asset, knowledgeable, funny and most of all FRIENDLY.. I would highly recommend Debbie to all of my friends who are in search/need of a new/used car.
Debbie Pignotti,I met Debbie about 3 years ago. At the time my wife and I were going into Hudson Valley Chrysler for our 4th vehicle. Our usual sales person was no longer there. Debbie approached us as we walked in. She was both knowledgeable and helpful. We told her exactly what we were looking for and she got right to work. She was honest with us and did not give us the run around. We were in and out and got exactly what we wanted. That same day I told Debbie I was interested in a Ram Truck as my next car. She promised me that day she would get me in one. 3 years later my wife and Debbie orchestrated an elaborate plan to surprise me with our 5th vehicle and my brand new 2021 RAM 1500. The service Dept was busy and I understood why because there were only 3 technicians there. The service manager was very nice. He told me there was going to be a 2 hour wait and I completely understood why. Well the gentlemen came over an hour later telling me the truck was about to be ready and he couldnt have been a nicer guy. (If I was rating the service manager I would give him 5 stars).When I got home the check engine light came on and when I checked the oil it was bone dry. I have no doubt they drained my oil, hopefully changed the filter but forgot to fill it with fresh oil.Update:Scott the service manager called me because he was upset what happened to me. I thought he was completely professional. He admitted fault after I explained how I figured out the issue (which never happened to me, dealerships always threw it back at me in my experience) . He offered a new oil change and to check over the car for issues. He also offered a refund from the oil change. I really cant ask for anything more than that with a mistake.To me that says we messed up, I still want to give you what you paid for but you have your money to go elsewhere if you want.I think this is a standup service department and I will be bringing my truck back for the foreseeable future.Thank you Scott, I appreciate you going above and beyond to help me out and making sure my vehicle is safe for the fam.
This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. I was looking for a specific, hard-to-find model (the Wrangler 4xe, just a few weeks after they started to hit dealer lots) and ended up finding what I wanted here. I was buying from out of state and was able to do nearly the entire transaction via text, email and one or 2 short phone calls. They negotiated a fair price on the vehicle I was purchasing and did the entire appraisal of my trade remotely. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I took it for a test drive to make sure everything was in order and then it was a very quick (20 minutes or so) process of signing some paper work. There were no surprises at delivery and no pressure to purchase add-ons (of course they were offered but there was no hard sales pitch). Despite being nearly 90 miles away, I absolutely would buy another vehicle here.
Experience started great working with Marissa on nailing down as much paperwork before arriving to the dealership as I could. The gentleman from finance was great as well. 3 months into owning the vehicle, it failed to start and left me stranded 40 miles away. After getting the vehicle towed at 11pm to the dealership, it has been sitting in the service area ever since, 72 days as I write this, with no estimated fix date. Additionally, the dealership is communicating dates to me that differ from what Chryslers case team is reporting to me which is demonstrating a huge disconnect between the dealership and Chrysler. Needless to say, this will be my first and last Chrysler vehicle and I cannot recommend doing any business with this dealership.
Our salesman was nice, but he advised us the 2019 Ram 1500 with only 26,194 mileage for $34,900. When we did the contract we didn’t realized until that he charged us $35,998. Also the finance person that has you sign the contract did explain in some what ways, but also rushed through it.We will never refer anyone to this dealership.
My wife and I went to Hudson Valley CDJR to shop for a new pickup truck. Shane M. was very quick to approach us and guide us through their inventory keeping special attention to our wants and needs in a new vehicle. He quickly got us on the road for a test drive in the vehicle that fit our profile without haggling over numbers and information, and allowed us the opportunity to make the decision of if we wanted to crunch numbers or not after the test drive. We showed up just to look around and get an idea of which type of truck we wanted, but Shane and the sales staff offered us a deal that we literally could not refuse. I cant thank the new owner, Sean Mulcahy, of Hudson Valley Jeep enough for connecting me with Noel Cappelletti to assist me in purchasing my new Jeep. I live two hours away from the dealership and we did all of our business on the phone. Noel communicated with me so much during the process that I had more confidence in this deal than I have ever felt in another dealership in person. Even after the car was delivered and all paperwork was signed, Noel called me a couple hours later (on his day off) to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. He even offered to talk over the phone on Saturday to walk me through connecting my phone to cars Apple Play. I LOVE my new Jeep and as far as I am concerned Hudson Valley Jeep will continue to have our business.
I’ve been coming to this dealership for a little over 2 years. Started out with having my Jeep and Dodge serviced. Brian Monges in service has always been great and extremely helpful.I just traded both cars in and upgraded to a Jeep Cherokee. Mike Digiacomo and John from finance were great to work with. It was definitely the smoothest experience I’ve had buying a car.Ive had nothing but good experiences between sales and service at this dealership since ive been coming here.
Where do I begin.I purchased a used car 3 short months ago and had problems since day 1. I got home with the car and realized that my second key fob (the nice one with the remote start) was completely dead. The first week I had transmission problems. I am a mom of 3 boys, full time student, and a full time manager. It took me a few weeks to have time to bring the car in and when I did I was first told “well why did you wait so long.” After not having the car for 2 weeks I was told the transmission was failing and they had to do something (I can’t remember if it was put a new one in or take the whole thing out and fix it). They also refused to fix my key fob that I was handed broken. I then picked the car up and had to turn right back around because there was a flapping noise in the front of the car. After not having the car for another 2 days, they informed me that they broke something while in there fixing the transmission. A few short weeks later my check engine light is on and the car is starting to shift hard again! They offered me NO reconciliation after all of this and I’m beyond annoyed with the car I purchased and the customer service. I will not buy a car here ever again nor will I ever recommend someone to this place. This was the worst first car buying experience.
Armond was absolutely patient today when my insurance agent kept messing up the info again and again. He had attention to detail when letting me know about my car as well as all the financial options.This dealership is so amazing that when my ride there fell through they even came to get me!If I could rate higher I would and absolutely would recommend their outstanding service again and again!
Priscilla in the Service Dept. was personable and professional. Had my Jeep diagnosed and repaired even faster than promised. Was pleased to be able to make my appointment online, and reserve a rent car. Very easy drop off, and pick up process. Was vacationing in the area when we had a problem, so we were very happy to find such a friendly dealership. I would highly recommend this service department!
I’ve been leasing for years and renewing my lease here was the quickest and easiest the process had ever been. Ask for Armond he is wonderful! He was informative and kind and made the whole turnover into a new lease stress free. Very happy with the service and overall experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new car! Will definitely be coming back here again.
Would highly recommend Sam Abraham, Chrissy, John, Jessica and the entire staff at Hudson Valley autos in Newburgh . All of these fine people went out of their way to help me get my new to me vehicle. I am 66 and have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime but Sam and his entire team are the best. They truly care. I would definitely recommend them and I will hopefully purchase again from him the good Lord willing.
Very disappointed in their pricing. The check engine light came on in my Jeep. Dropped it off this morning and got a call later that it would be $515 to fix. Asked for the breakdown. $65 for the part and three hours labor at $150/hr. My husband found a video online showing the job from start to finish taking less than 11 min. Now I know there is a little more involved than 10 minutes of work, like checking the diagnostics to make sure its fixed, three hours?!? Come on!! And this isnt the first time theyve overcharged. Last time it was covered by warranty, but they still charged the warranty company for more labor than necessary. Done with this place! And dont get me started on how they conduct sales.
We had a great experience with the team at Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! There were a few hiccups in the beginning, but Jason and Shane both jumped in and turned it around, with outstanding attention to detail and customer service. The team was friendly and welcoming, and they really created an easy buying process for our first Jeep! Highly recommend.
I leased a Jeep there in 2018 and I was extremely happy even the owner personally thank me for my choosing them. I went back this July to see what my leasing options are since my leased expires in October and it has not been a good experience. The lot had no Jeep I could choose and was told it had to be ordered which I was ok with since I knew there was a car shortage everywhere but in less than 24hrs I decided I wanted the color changed and I was told I couldnt even thou this vehicle was expected to be delivered in November. However, they changed the color after making a big deal.Waited months for the car and after picking it up yesterday i know I will not get another Jeep there. I remember making sure the Jeep came with steps and I was told 100% they would and my Jeep has no steps and now im being told that it never comes with it. I remember seeing it on the order sheet now its no where to be found. I didnt make a big deal because I had my old steps I was going to sell I figured I could just have them put it on and they say $300 which is the price I paid for the steps. Also my payments changed they claim the deal no longer exist makes no since ti me because I ordered the vehicle when the lease did. The sadest part of it all my lease is a 4 year never had a lease being 4 years thats the reason I lease so I can have a new car every 2/3 yesrs
I have been purchasing my vehicles from Sam for numerous years. He always go far and beyond to make sure that I get the best deal possible. Had a problem with my 2008 Town and Country that baffled me and my normal mechanic. Assistant Service Manager Bryan and his guys were able to quickly diagnose what the problem was and fix it with haste. Such courtesy and professionalism from everyone in the service department is definitely my reason to go back if the need arises again!
Overall, not the best experience.When we leased our Jeep, we soon realized that the dealership ran our credit four or five times. Not once, not twice, but four or five times. We received letters in the mail for each time they ran our credit. My husband and I both have good credit scores. Our bank told us that they do this for their own benefit. It was... unfortunate, but that’s not the worst part.Every time we’ve attempted to bring in our Jeep for service under our warrantee, it was always a song and dance. Most recently, they claimed they never heard of the issue I was describing, which is apparently a very well known issue for Jeeps (wandering). For another set of issues (paint, seatbelt), they just kept saying they’d call us back when they had more information, and now of course we’re over our miles to have the issues taken care of under warrantee. Whenever you call for service, it’s never an easy transaction. The service department is nice, but seem to not want to do the work, look into the issue, or follow up...I’ve never had these kinds of challenges with another dealership.We’ve heard from salespeople who no longer work there that this is their game, and we should have looked into it more before leasing a vehicle from them.I’m hopeful that under new ownership, this dealership turns it around!
So frustrated with the service department. 4yrs ago they were great. Now its a waste of time and money to even attempt to have them do any engine/code work. They dont listen, know better than female clients. Started calling my husband instead of me about my vehicle. Never going back here for anything.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR REPAIRS!!!!! GO TO JVS IN NEW WINDSOR!!!!Wish I could give a zero on he service department. I called on a Wednesday day with a question about whether a part is covered under my powertrain warranty Because my standard warranty had just went up. (Hmm. Standard warranty is out and a month later Im broken down on the side of the road.) So they couldnt tell me anything other than we will call you back in a little bit (they never did). So the next day I call them back with the same question. Now they wont tell me anything unless I have it towed in. So I have it towed in on thursday night. (This is the third time ive had to have my 2016 Wrangler towed in for a mechanical repair, my other two 2004 wrangled have never given me the problems the 2016 has) I wait around all friday for the diagnosis (No phone call again) and have to call them just before closing time. Big surprise here, the part that I told them was bad and just wanted to know if it was covered under powertrain was bad and not covered under the powertrain warranty. Their quote for it was $1200. I immediately called JVS over on little Brittan and their quote was a third of that. On saturday i go over to pick up the jeep and tow it to JVS and somehow the paperwork is missing and John told me to come back in an hour and a half. They knew i would be picking it up and it should not take this long to find the paperwork. I Turns out John was just to lazy to actually look for it because or set it up for them to let me take my jeep. Priscilla did all the worknand was the only person who was somewhat helpful at all. This will be the last time I ever visit this dealership and probably (This one brings a tear to my eye) the last jeep I will ever buy.
What kind of world do we live in. I’m a customer that just bought a Jeep ( not from this dealer) They didn’t have what we wanted . So we went and found what we were looking for in New Jersey. Would have rather bought local since I’m only 3 miles from this dealer. Our dealer said that they would do our inspection when we got the registration in the mail also needed a whiper adjusted. So made an appt and went there . They had the car for 1 hour then came back and said they couldn’t do the inspection because the window tint was to dark and would not fix the whiper because it was 2 mile over the warranty…. Really what is wrong with theses people.. So we went 1/2 a mile away to another service station and they did the inspection and said nothing wrong with the window tint… I contacted our dealer they said tint was absolutely leagal in the stateOf New York they just didn’t want to do it because we didn’t buy our car from them. Guess that’s why the service dept and showroom were empty. So now instead of having a life long customer only 3 mile away . I will never go there or recommend this place to anyone. Ill travel now where they actually care about what they do and the customers that buy there cars.
What an incredible experience! Like most, I wasn’t looking forward to visiting a dealership but I have to say the folks at Hudson Valley make it quick, painless and you’re treated like a valued customer from the moment you walk in.We came in lease a car for our daughter and they made the selection process seamless and “working the numbers” was never so easy.Both Shane and Chris were phenomenal. I purchased parts from this dealership before. This time we got bad gas in Wyoming in our Wrangler we tow behind our motor home. It was missing and not running right after our Yellowstone vacation. My wife and I made the decision to drop it off at this dealership on our way home as they had the parts and expertise to get it back in good running condition. We talked to Dennis Coakley and he said I cant get to it this afternoon (tuesday) , but probably tomorrow . We left it and drove our motor home to our residence 20 miles away. I asked him if it would be wise to change all 6 injectors as the code was 3 bad spark plugs and #1 injector. He said ONE injector was $600 which baffled me ,I said try to clean them instead. Wednesday passed , Thursday passed, and Friday morning I called. Someone said ( a female) hes on the line with a customer and she took my name and # for a returned call. I heard nothing Friday or Monday. Now my jeep is there a week and nothing said. My wife and I took a 40 mile ride to see whats up and Dennis comes strolling in after lunch and says Hi Mr. Rizzo, like all was well. I asked for a reason I was being neglected and his response was- we have people waiting in front of you , which was never indicated like that before when we first stopped there.. No reason not to return my phone calls. I called Chrysler at another location and got a price of $88 for an injector and I asked him why he quoted me a $600 for the same part and he babbled- Well I dont know what it needs if we havent looked at it. My jeep was in the same spot when I dropped it off a week prior. I told him I was very dissatisfied with his service and wanted my key. I asked who the manager was and he stated he wouldnt be in until tomorrow- Its Scott. He was very arrogant and said- would you like me to have him call you!! I said NO -Ill come and speak to him personally tomorrow. He was VERY rude and for him to be dealing with the public (customers) is very detrimental to this dealership.
I called Hudson Valley Dodge looking for a very specific vehicle they had on the lot. I was put in touch with Debbie from sales and she immediately began working hard to get me what I wanted. I had already spoken to several other dealerships,, all of which gave me the run around about a lease I wanted out of early. Debbie was straight forward and by far the best person I dealt with. Debbie gave me the exact deal I was looking for by getting me out of my lease vehicle free and clear with 6 months left on the lease in addition to drastically discounting the 2021 Ram Rebel. Jason in finance was also very accommodating and easy to work with. Jason was knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to work with. Both Debbie and Jason went above and beyond when I requested to buy and delivery my truck on very short notice. Great experience!! Highly recommend Debbie in Sales and Jason in finance!!

Came here with my sister yesterday. They have nice vehicles.... but the salesman we were dealing with didn’t know anything. He kept telling me about to commercials. To make this even more weird. They required a deposit BEFORE running your credit. And to get your money back you have to wait to receive it in the mail! They say it’s policy but have no paperwork that say that! But hey good luck to everyone else.
Today we picked up a new 2021 Ram 2500 from this dealership and we couldnt be more pleased. Our salesman Shane Mulstay took the time to listen to what our needs and wants were and was able to show us the perfect vehicle. Secondly Jason was very helpful walking us through the paper work. This is the worst dealership I’ve ever been to .! If i can rate it a 0, I would. The car salesman do not have any knowledge on what they are talking about. Can’t do a credit check without giving some type of deposit. Then, tell you they will send your deposit back in the mail (via check). But it’s nowhere written in the policy. I advise anyone to not come to this dealership. They are super quick to take your money with lack of customer service.
Easiest and most painless dealership experience ever. Our sales man Shane helped us through everything since we first stepped foot into the dealership. He listens to your every needs and concerns and does his best to put you in the car that is best for you with also saving you money. Shane with the help of Chris helped but my family and I in one of the best cars possible with a deal hard to refuse. If you ever ate in search of a car come here and ask for Shane because he treats you like family and will always put you first.
I had very bad experiences with the Dodge dealerships in the Poughkeepsie and Beacon. I would never go back to them. I called Hudson Valley Dodge and talked to the service manager. He was great! I brought my truck over I had it back the next day and everything was in working order! I have a horse farm with 40 head of horses. I need to have my truck. They had it back to me the next day. I would highly recommend them!!!!

Shane Mulstay was very professional and did a wonderful job taking the time to meet our needs and answer all our questions. Quick to grab your business and nonexistent help afterwards. Leased a vehicle from this dealership for four years. In four years I made one request which was to email me a copy of my lease agreement which I had misplaced. Never received it. I called them multiple times and requested this again. They continued to ignore or disregard my request. They couldnt handle something as simple as running a document through a copy machine and emailing it. Lots of dealers in the area. Bypass this one.

My first experience with this dealership was in 2017. Started out great and we agreed to a lease rather quickly. From there it went downhill quickly. Misleading packages were sold and I had a miserable time getting a refund back. In the end I got it, but swore Id never go back.FF to 2019. I decided I would give them another shot as I had heard they were under new ownership. I explained my previous experience and they apologized and were happy I stopped in. The second go around was much better. However the closing took longer than expected. What was supposed to be 20 mins of signing paperwork, turned into 1.5 hours and at the point the store had closed and I was driving my new $50k truck home on E. But whatever, I got it at the price I wanted so in the end I was happy.FF 2021. Looking to upgrade my truck again. You would think a customer that has been in now for a 3rd vehicle in 5 years would be appreciated. I did not feel this way at all. I was stuck with a salesman, Sam, who was already dealing with a family and basically sat behind them waiting and ignored. I test drove the truck I had stopped in to see and was interested in purchasing. When Sam came back with the numbers I was shocked, NOT AS ADVERTISED. When I questioned him he basically sat there and said take it or leave it, nothing I can do. So I said thank you and walked out the door.I can positively say I will not be walking back in. I will take my money to a dealership that wants it. When youre spending a 1/4 of a mortgage on a vehicle youd think youd receive SOME appreciation. Im not asking for a lot and Im certainly not the type to over ask or be unreasonable. But I myself run a truck dealership and would NEVER treat customers this way.2 stars for the one decent experience I had in 2019.
This is the worse dealership ever I’m out 270$ for absolutely nothing. I brought my 2006 Jeep Liberty for a brand new key along with getting it programmed because my old key the circuit fried. When I got home the key didn’t work. Called back and was told I only paid for a key to be cut but if you see in the photo I posted it say I paid for a key and for it to be programmed. Everyone there has no respect and unhelpful.
New updated showroom, friendly staff and owner meets all customers and is pleasant. I purchased my Jeep grand Cherokee from CDJR and enjoyed my experience with DEBBIE PIGNOTTI and recommend her expertise and down to earth sales approach when buying a new / used vehicle. Came to Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to turn a lease in from the previous owners, with the original desire being to buy it out. Shane Mulstay was my sales representative, and showed me every option available, and took the time to find out what kind of personal life vehicle related necessities I would need. Shane showed me some options, the finances for all of the options, and ended up helping me lease a brand new 2021 Ram 1500. On top of that, he managed to get my lease payment even lower than what I was previously paying, which even resulted in my insurance being lowered.

Mike Weiss is awesome. The 1st dealership I went to the sales person wouldn’t give me the time of day based on the truck I wanted, the truck price and my budget. All he did was suggested a much cheaper truck that didn’t have the features that would meet my driving to work needs and my family needs.Mike Weiss is awesome. I went to Mike, gave him the stock number for the truck that I wanted...and he worked diligently...took him a week, I almost gave up but he didn’t. I ultimately walked away with a truck that has all my required features and then some and very close to my budget. A truck I love and that I’ll be comfortable driving for a very very long time.Justin finalized my sale on pick up day. This is a great car dealership. I purchased a vehicle from them and the entire process was simple and easy. My sales person Jimmy not only made sure the process went smooth but still texts me just to check up on the car or just to wish me a happy holiday. The situation stays the same when it comes to his manager Scott who took care of everything I asked and my finance manager Rich who explained all my paperwork to me. I brought my Jeep Liberty here for a repair of the heating system. It is a tricky job, so I thought it would be worth the outrageous dealer service price to have it done right and backed up. Well, neither of those were the case. They were very unprofessional, leaving my car a huge mess when I picked it up. The job was not done right, as I am now driving around a car with no heat. After contacting them, they told me I had to sign to authorize payment of a diagnostic fee for them to look into the issue. Im not willing to give them another dime after my initial experience with them.
Quick and painless process was able to turn in my lease and able to lease another suv without breaking the bank. Shane was very helpful in the entire process. I started the process by talking with Jessica and she was able to text with me so I didn’t need to be away from work. Both very helpful!
I recently purchased a charger, and the service was amazing. I worked with Travis who i highly recommend, he is very helpful and made sure I got all I needed. The whole team has great personality and treats you like family. Although the wait, and paperwork takes some time, it was completely worth it. Even after the sale, I received informational emails about the car that includes videos on different features of the car. I am very satisfied with the whole dealership.

My wife & I searched far (like really far) & wide before we found Debbie Pignotti at Hudson Valley CDJR. We needed a used EcoDiesel Grand Cherokee & they go SO fast that they kept getting sold before we could go see them! Debbie was kind & courteous & even walked out onto the lot to confirm that it was still here as we were over an hour away. Once we got to the dealer there was a fun, friendly, low pressure Environment for us to work in.The finance manager Chris was equally accommodating & pleasant! It’s easy to start well but they even managed to finish well too!A few minor warranty fixes were also quick & painless & we’re even happier now in our new (to us) Overland than when we bought it last week.
This is the most crooked dealership I have dealt with I drop my vehicle off and the service rep I’m dealing with Priscilla has been the most unprofessional and undermining lying associate I’ve ever dealt with I had my vehicle towed in on a Sunday I called the next morning gave them all the information they took a while to perform the diagnostic which they claim was a no start diagnostic to determine why it wouldn’t start I got a callback days later And was told 2 sensors that were just replaced brand new where are the issue why it wouldn’t start she even slipped up and said guess and quickly corrected herself I made a suggestion of them trying the cars computer I was told it wasn’t a computer they don’t think so so I went along and said replace the sensors they didn’t even call me like she promised she would when the parts came in or when they were installed I had to call them to find out that the parts didn’t fix the issue because the technician didn’t do their job properly during the diagnosis and now they were saying that the issue is the computer I the lack of communication from the service agent and shady behavior the job was never completed The vehicle does not start and run and all they did was replace two parts that weren’t the issue (they made it all better and got there hands dirty bravo)
We went to many dealerships and we were going to go to one other, but we did not need to nor did we want to. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed by all the staff. I had some very specific things like my car to be white and also needed our payments not to exceed a certain price. My Sales Gal Andrea was so nice and worked really, really hard to find and get what we wanted. Never once did she seemed like we were bothering her with our many questions. We had the pleasure of getting to meet Ed the Sales manager as well. Ed made sure every step was professional as its obvious he is respected by his team by observing the cohesiveness of everyone working together was evident. Worked a great deal with Paul who was the initial reason I came to the dealership. He was so attentive and even gave me his cell # to take care of any questions I had. Once there the entire sales team worked with me to get the vehicle I wanted. I drove 3 hours and got there just about closing time to purchase my truck and they all went above and beyond to make everything happen. Just got my 2018 Jeep Compass a week ago today and I’m very happy with it. From the moment I arrived everyone made me & my family feel welcomed. They’re super friendly. Take pictures if you decide to bring it in for a repair. Took my vehicle in for a repair and recall. The repair was easy but they broke a plastic piece while doing it. And the mechanic said it was like that when we brought it in. After the recall my car started making a lot of noise which it had never done before. We brought it back in and was immediately given a bad attitude. Within an hour they called and said there was nothing wrong. It took me to bring my vehicle to another shop to tell me whats wrong. The mechanic at the other shop called me and asked if I had any work done on the specific part that was installed. I said yes. He said you have to bring it back. Its not right. So i brought it back and told them what the other mechanic said. They ended up telling me that it was not the right part that was installed. They fixed it but they left a bad impression on me. Never coming back this place. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I HATE going into dealerships. Ive worked in a dealership and have seen behind the curtain. So when I decided on what I wanted to look in to, I drove in and parked in the lot and still sat in my car for 45 minutes before going in.Inside I met Destany, who immediately put my prejudices to rest. No pressure. No rush. Knowledgeable and friendly. I did a solo test drive (thanks to COVID restrictions) and knew after that I was satisfied with my research. My only request was to not repeatedly contact me over the next few days as I continued to shop around, which they did.When I finally decided to go with HVCDJR, I called up with my request and they met it! Final processing was a breeze and I was able to drive off in my new vehicle.Destany and the rest of the sales staff that I dealt with were great and would recommend them all.
I have to say that for the first time in my life, and 6 vehicles later, I am extremely happy with my car buying experience. I usually HATE buying a vehicle from a dealer simply because of all the lying and sneaky tricks dealers and salesman try to play. I’m a car guy and I’ve been in sales. I know the tricks and gimmicks.After calling and emailing 9 different dealers and personally going to 3 more only to be fed up and lied to about hidden fees, needing manager approval, and even given a finance rate of 6% ONLY because I had excellent credit over 800... a friend told me to call Andrew at Hudson Valley CJDR. I didn’t have much hope because every dealer has always been the same for me, but I did anyway. What a surprise!! Andrew was genuinely friendly and listened to what I was looking for and he worked hard to locate the exact vehicle I was searching for. Not only that but he was completely upfront and honest about everything from the start! No hidden fees, or mark ups or any of that. I knew EXACTLY what I was going to pay for the vehicle before I put a deposit down or anything. I couldn’t believe it. From start to finish, my experience was top notch. I’ve sent friends and family to this dealer as well. I’m now in the market for another vehicle and don’t even want to consider other brands simply because I WANT to buy from this dealership (and Andrew) again. I can’t say enough positive things about them.

Very professional, thorough and caring, not what you typically get from a dealership. Since the purchase of my vehicle Ive had a few questions and he has been right there to follow up with me. The entire staff is extremely friendly and are willing to work with you. All staff members stayed hours beyond on closing to ensure I was able to leave with my Jeep that day!. I dealt with Stephanie and Ed via phone from morning to night time. They both went out of there way to make me feel like I was important and made the transaction extremely painless. When I went to the dealer the following day, Diana was my sales rep. She was fantastic at making me feel comfortable as well as my wife and three little kids. Her knowledge of the vehicle during the demo was exemplary and made learning the features a breeze. Rich made the business end of it as easy as can be imagined. I am very weary of car salesmen and always go in with my guard up. I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience here. The Sales Manager Ed Finn and sales rep, Mike Truffi were both excellent. Took the time to go over my options and listened to what I was looking for. At the end, the monthly lease they were offering was more than what I wanted to pay. I explained that I was rebuilding my credit and in a month or so would have a much higher credit score. Without any pressure, Ed suggested that rather than pay the higher lease fee now, it was best to wait (honestly, when does a sales rep not pressure you to buy now!). I told him thats exactly what I was thinking. Ed asked that when Im ready that I come back. I told him I would and I meant it. Its hard to find an honest car salesperson, but at Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, I found two of them.

We bought our first brand new car in a while from this dealership having done plenty of research beforehand. We chose this dealership which is 45 minutes from our home because initial communications with them were very good. Upon arrival our salesman, Travis, met us curbside with the car we were thinking about. After the test drive we went inside and we were met by the staff at the front desk with welcoming and genuine smiles and greetings. We purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee and when we picked it up we were treated like the only customers in the place. It wasn’t just the salesman, although we liked him very much, it was every person that we met there at the first visit and when we picked up the car. I couldn’t imagine a better experience and will most definitely be back.

I could not have had a better experience - Julio took great care of me during the whole process, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I just wanted to say I went to a Dodge dealership not thinking I would ever get a Dodge because I’m a Chevy man but this guy Shane mulstay Got me a gorgeous 2021 Ram 1500 was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and the only person I know they could handle a pain in the butt kid. I highly recommend this place they are kid friendly and everything they make you feel like you’re a family. The only thing they don’t do a serve dinner
Horrendous, worst car buying experience ever.i spent 3 1/2 hours there on 3/13 waiting for a contract on a new car that I was purchasing for my wife. Not only did I not get the car, I never reviewed or received the contract that Noel wrote up, which was thousands more than what it was supposed to be.After 5 days of waiting and hearing nothing from them, I called to ask what was happening with the car. No one knew, everyone was off that day. Yep. I made an appt for Friday 3/20 to ask someone if they knew what was going on. I arrived, was told they didnt know of my appt but would help me anyway.NEW CONTRACT COMING!!!First they said Id get 17000 for my trade, This time Im getting 16000 for my trade. That would be because they realized that I had a pre negotiated price on the car the second time I went.So its been a week, I waIted over 3 hours on 3/13, still didnt have the car after waiting over 3 more hours on 3/20.They took so much of my time and overcharged me so much I wont consider going back there, even for a free oil change.Good job taking advantage of an old man.If I want baloney Ill go to the deli, if I want to hang out with squirrels, Ill hang out in my back yard.IMHO this contract should be nullified and started from scratch the way it was supposed to be from day one. Its only fair.
Recently purchased a used vehicle from Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Sales folks were nice, the trade-in and purchase experience was Ok until dealing with Finance & the paperwork.We traded in two vehicles, only one of which went towards the down payment. The rest was a large chunk of cash back. They still owe us a check, and it is not a trivial amount. We called to complain, but basically just got the response that it is their policy. So they hold our money hostage (and gain interest) while they likely already sold my old vehicle.Even if they had a policy (which I do not agree with holding peoples money hostage when you purchase their assets and take ownership), their finance manager not only never explained this when we signed paperwork, but she mentioned that our check would be ready the next business day. It is now going on a week later and they do not follow up. I have had to call twice to complain. Still no follow up.Would not do business here again for Sales.
Update: Was finally contacted by the dealership to get the car in for service. Diagnosed a bad wheel bearing.They handled the diagnosis efficiently and contacted my extended warranty to get it taken care of. The service was pretty good once they contacted me. Disappointed they do not offer loaner cars at all, only a shuttle. That, and I was told at the time that I made the appt that it would take 3-4 hours for the wheel bearing, which seemed a little excessive, and then they actually had my car for 7 hours...which is double the time I was told. Just glad I wasnt sitting in the dealership all that time. Car is definitely driving much better now, and in the defense of the dealership, it is a subaru and therefore not their specialty. Cant give them 5 stars under the circumstances, but I appreciate them contacting me and handling my concerns efficiently and getting the car in right away.Absolutely miserable experience from the start. Bought a car from them that clearly was not thoroughly inspected before it was sold because Ive had so many problems that should have been taken care of before it was sold. Ive called their service dept many times, and the one and only time someone picked up the phone, I was told someone would have to call me back to schedule my appt. That was a month ago and still no returned call. Every other time Ive called the phone just rings and rings. Very disappointed because the sales rep that sold me the car was great.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I will never use this dealership ever again! My car has been sitting in their service department for 5 weeks. The service department has dodged my phone calls, given me the run around and ignored phone calls from Chrysler corporate. After 5 weeks they are still waiting for a warranty approval. The promised me a rental, I am still waiting for it. Poor customer service, every single time I call I get bounced around from person to person. The manager is always on vacation, in a meeting or unavailable. I work for a dealership and this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I cant even take my car back because it needs a new engine!! I have had my car in their facility 5 times and the problem has never truly been resolved. Once I get my car back I am completely done with them and will warn whoever I can to stay away. The way they speak to their customers is demeaning and they try to convince you that youve already spoken about something or that they have left you messages. I am completely disgusted, I have no clue how they are still in business. I was assured by the manager that the owner stands by his team and customers and that they would do everything possible to see my car gets fixed quickly. He then continued to tell me that he truly cares about his job because he travels an hour tog et to work every day so he takes it seriously and wants to see his customers happy. Well Id say this has been an epic fail and the dealership needs to reevaluate their procedure and staff.
I purchased a used vehicle from here last month. Sales personnel were fantastic, Andrew the pre-owned sales manager and Kris in sales.Vehicle was clean however had issues that needed attention. Some of the issues were taken care of the day of pickup others were not. The windshield washer reservoir cap was cracked and needed a new one, still waiting for it a month later. Tired of waiting for a call back after making multiple calls, I ordered one.The truck needed to go back the next day with suspension issues. I made an appointment online and noted I needed to wait. The Service counter employee gave me a hard time at check in first telling me that I didn’t make a wait appointment, I brought up my email and showed her it clearly said wait. She then told me a wait appointment can’t happen that these type of issues the vehicle needs to stay for an extended time, I told her I had no choice, I live too far away. She stated goto the waiting room talk to you in a few hours.They needed to replace the front struts. They issued me a loaner vehicle till the following day. I got the truck back it was better but still not right. They claimed that just how it rides.Still not feeling safe I brought it to a repair shop local to find one of the rear shocks were blown out and has been for some time based on the condition of the shock, and the other side was almost blown.I had the shocks replaced then brought the old ones to service at the dealership to show them the “Just how it rides” issue was inaccurate. They said they would give me a free alignment to make good on the shock deficiency. I inquired how was the suspension issues were not seen or felt and how did it pass NYS inspection. I was told it was not an inspection item. But visibly you can see the shock was blown it was bleeding oil and was for sometime based on the condition and dirt buildup around the leaked shock oil.I was then told it was brought up when it was originally inspected however declined for approval to fix the issue from upper management. So essentially the vehicle was sold knowing there were suspension issues that could have resulted in serious Injury or death to me and my family as the vehicle bouncing and skipping uncontrollably when you hit bumps causing the vehicle to sway on the roadway, easily could have caused the vehicle to spin out. I took pictures and left the shocks and requested the blown shock to be shown to the manager who made the decision not to have them changed when they were made aware.Just ordered new tires as due to the deficient shocks and struts caused premature wear in the form of cupping that causes the ride to be choppy instead of smooth. Not sure how they passed inspection either with the low tread and cupping damage. The prop rod lock under the hood was missing and the battery brace wasnt connected.I understand it’s a used vehicle and not brand new. Things happen. But knowing there is an issue(s) and still allowing the vehicle to be sold isn’t good business.In closing Sales Staff Andrew and Kris were the best, they went over and beyond. Rich in financing was fantastic. Bill the owner was very personable, appreciative and stopped what he was doing to come over to shake my hand. Service counter staff needs customer service training with the way they talk to people. Service Techs are great just regulated by management when it comes to issues and making proper repairs to vehicles on the used lot when the funds are coming out of their budgets. I’m quite sure if it was after that 60 day lemon law grace period where my extended warranty was then In effect they would be happy to take my deductible or full cost if not covered in the bumper to bumper warranty to make the repairs of the issues I was experiencing.Management selling used vehicles knowing there are deficiencies is an issue, therefore If you decide to purchase a used vehicle from here, I would suggest test driving it to an independent mechanic and have it put on a lift and give it a full inspection before committing to make a purchase. Just protect yourself.
Mike Weiss and Destany were great to work with! Went to the dealership thinking I had no hope with turning in my lease early. They went above and beyond to make this happen and get me the new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X that I wanted. I would recommend working with this dealership and Mike and Destany.

From the first visit to driving off the lot with exactly what I wanted the experience exceeded my expectations across all facets of the car buying process. There was no hard sell. No pressure to go the extras that I didnt want. Mark, my salesman, listened to what I wanted, pointed me in the right direction and in the end had the right car in stock, and delivered the same at a price that was impossible to beat. I tried other Dodge dealers and they were not able to match let alone beat the price. I would not hesitate to bring friends and family, or anyone else for that matter, to this dealer for a purchase. Not that I looked at every car on the lot, but from what I could see the inventory was substantial. No wonder they had what I was looking for in stock. When it came time to do the finance paperwork I was surprised that it only took 15 minutes from start to finish. Ive bought many cars over the years and this was one of the most pleasant, if not the most pleasant experience Ive had.
I brought my 2016 Jeep Compass to this terrible establishment in MARCH of THIS YEAR because my check engine light came on and I lost acceleration. They claimed to have fixed it (spark plugs , coil & coil ignition) and charged me $600. 3 MONTHS later in JUNE the check engine light came back on and once again I lost acceleration accept this time I was on the highway. This time they stated that I had a different problem (gasket-throttle) $1100. HERE IT IS AUGUST and THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME BACK ON. IM NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF OPERATION THEY HAVE GOING ON BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE & THAT’S THE FACT THAT THEY ARE TAKING MY MONEY AND ARE NOT PROVIDING ME WITH PROPER SERVICE. I HAVE NOT ONLY SPENT MY HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS INCOMPETENT ESTABLISHMENT BUT I HAVE LOST DAYS OF WORK. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY JEEP TOWED NUMEROUS OF TIMES FROM THE BRONX TO NEWBURGH & I HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR RENTALS AS WELL. PLEASE. IF YOU ARE READING THIS “DO NOT” DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL LOSE.

Such a nice new dealership. We met alot of the staff and each person was so helpful to make sure we werent waiting long and we had such nice sales lady, Diana. She helped me find what we wanted for my family. Having a big family doesnt make that part easy at all. I was very impressed with the dealership. I was there 3 years ago with a bad experience and was leary to try again. But under new ownership they were so much better. Destany was able to give me a better deal on a higher model Durango than another competitor. I was actually shocked on how easy the process was here. Totally different than other dealership and Ive been leasing for a long time.
Jason was very friendly and very professional. As picky as I am, he helped me pick out the most perfect car. He gave us his personal number if we had any questions and when we texted him he responded promptly. Very nice guy. As for the F&I guy, he needs a few lessons on customer service. While sitting with us, my mother needed clarification on a few things before she signed, and if he had to reexplain himself he caught a nasty attitude. He was very apathetic and had that “I’m better than you” attitude. But despite that guy, everyone else was very nice, including the 2 sales managers that we met, the receptionists, and the other salesmen. I would recommend this place to all my friends, especially with Jason as a salesman.
Terrible experience. Its been over a month since purchasing vehicle and no title/registration/tag. The temporary tag has expired. Every time I call they either avoid answering or never keep promises to call back. Their so called grievance line (supposedly to operations director) is crap, goes straight to voicemail. They made me pay $450 for them to register my vehicle : 1+ month later nothing, cant legally drive my car. They didnt know how to calculate title tax, no matter, their guesstimate would suffice, they also failed to carry out emissions test (which I had to do and pay for). Total incompetence. They drop the ball and run and hide. Please dont waste your time or money. Im sure there are better dealers. Really deserves zero stars. I just hope the car doesnt turn out to be as bad as their service.
I went in to trade NY Toyota Venza in as well as get my son a new Jeep Wrangler and I must say the service was excellent. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly receptionist which to me was awesome.. they connected me and my son with Travis which at first I was on edge because most car dealers are known not to be honest. But I must say he was totally honest they put me into a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and my son into a 2015 Jeep Wrangler which is his dream car.. I have never experienced first rate service in a dealership to this degree. I have referred all my friends and family to this dealership we have found a new dealership home.
My first mistake was taking my dream car for a test drive at Hudson Valley Dodge. My second mistake was making them an offer that I knew they wouldnt be able to accept. It took a little while, and they knew I was shopping around, but they not only ultimately accepted my offer, they improved on it! I was never pressured, just encouraged to give them enough time to work on assembling a deal that meet my needs. I have just taken delivery of my new Durango, with a terrific trade-in allowance on my old one, and I am delighted with both the process and the outcome. Special thanks to Sean, Noel, Mike & Armond, who were all terrific to work with, and they all made sure that I was happy at the end of the deal. What more could you ask for?

Excellent service and friendly staff. I brought my car in for service and needed an oil change but didnt have the time for the oil change and service put in oil to get me by until I could come back in. When I returned into dealership the following week they also fixed my light that was out despite being extra busy. While we waited they welcomed my very friendly 2 year old and allowed him to greet the staff and customers. Wouldnt think of bringing my Durango anywhere other then here.

Had great experience in the past, 2 days ago I had nail in my tire, fixed it , but they would not honor my tire plan to cover the cost, plan covers all dodge dealers! That claim it has to be 50 miles outside of surskey in Goshen, NY to be covered, thats where I bought my car, I found out that was total misinformation! Very disappointing
I came in for a simple oil change, tire rotation, and NYS inspection on a 2019 Ram. Its now been over 2 hours and it still isnt done. 2 HRS! Being a former auto tech myself I know how long this simple task takes. Oil change .3 hours, tire rotation .4 hours, safety inspection only .3 hours. That adds up to 1 hour. Then on top of that, a salesman keeps coming to the waiting area, which is in the middle of the sales room, trying to get people over and over again to trade in their vehicles. Never again will I come to this dealer.
I was in the market for my very first car and came here because another dealership scheduled my test drive for the next weekend but I really wanted to test drive the jeep renegade. They not only made an appointment for me the day before I planned on going in but the day of there was a snow storm. I thought theyd be close, but they called me and told me itd be a great day to test drive the renegade. So I went in the blizzard. It was the best experience ever. Michael Smith made the experience enjoyable and was in touch with me every step of the way and made it possible to afford my dream car. I will definitely continue to come here for anything I need for my jeep.
Just picked up a 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn. I couldn’t be more pleased woth the truck as well as the dealership. Destany was great! I own a Jeep Compass, which I previously bought from here. I brought it in for a noise in the front and Jessica Agresti made sure I test drove with the tech to resolve the issue. She made sure everything was checked and fixed before leaving. Jessica gave me awesome customer service and I appreciated all of her help with resolving the issue.
Dishonest service department. Wife dropped off our truck for some recall work and decided to have the oil changed and tires rotated since the truck would be there for a few hours anyway.They never rotated the tires and lied about it when confronted.I know this because the rear passenger side rim and tire were recently replaced as the result of a traffic accident. The new rim still has a small sticker on it and the tire has a more tread remaining. It is clearly newer and the other rims do not have any stickers.Upon noticing that the wheels were never rotated, I went inside and asked politely if they were sure the tires were rotated. They promised me that they were. When I mentioned the replaced rim and tire with the sticker still affixed the service advisor just doubled down on her story that the work was done and she saw them rotate the tires with her own eyes.Simply dishonest. In the end it wasnt worth arguing over their dishonesty and the $24. They have lost my business for good and I hope others will think twice before servicing their vehicles at Hudson Valley CJDR.They also tried to scam my parents out of hundreds of dollars for diagnostic work and costly electrical repairs last fall. After two trips in for intermittent headlight issues they were pushed to replace numerous components and to reprogram some aspect of the vehicle electronics. This sounded strange to me so I decided to take a look. The connection was loose at the passenger side headlight. I pushed the connector fully back into place and the lights have been working fine for months now.In the future I will just drive further to another dealership if the truck needs recall work or dealer servicing.
Having a terrible experience with sales manager Eddie. Ive been given prices on a specific vehicle that I want to lease. He gave me a print out. Decided to go home & think it though. Reached out the next morning with no response. Looked on line & say SAME EXACT VEHICLE (VIN AND ALL) for $1,000 less than he was offering me. Speaking to him this morning. Then I asked him why the price difference and Im getting the cold shoulder. Not answering texts or calls. I dont get it?? Dont you want to move your inventory. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I went in after many hours of research and knew exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to spend for a brand new ram 1500 leftover. The salesman, Mike, was awesome. Answered all of my and my wifes questions and made my first new car buying experience a good and painless one. Will definitely go back to buy another vehicle from them. We had purchased a car and in the first week the check engine light went on. we were told the cost was not covered and we would have to pay out of pocket. we showed them the paper work that proof of coverage.while i was sitting waiting for my car i heard another customer with the same story as mines.my check engine went on, came back to the dealership and was told i would receive a phone call. I was never contact, so i called in and was told by the mechanic that my car was in an accident ans the frony grill needed to be changed for 700$. I informed them that my car has never been in any sort of accident.i am paying to have my car misdiagnosed and still not fixed.safe your self the headache and go else where.
Just had an oil leak quickly diagnosed and fixed on my Jeep JK. The service department kept in contact with me all day. What a pleasant surprise to see people who know the meaning of customer service and go out of their way to put the customer first.Great job to all involved!
We recently leased a 2019 Jeep Compass, with help from Destany White. We came in not sure exactly what vehicle we wanted, or whether we wanted to buy or lease. Destany took the time to let us test drive multiple vehicles, and was knowledgeable about all of them.She also spent a good portion of her afternoon comparing numbers on all the vehicles we were considering. With her help, we decided to lease the 2019 Compass. She was able to get us the color and features we wanted, and the staff were able to work together to get us a price better than we had hoped for when we walked in that day.I would recommend shopping here to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Destany specifically went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable with our decision, without ever pressuring us or getting impatient with our seemingly endless search! When our lease is up, we will absolutely be making a trip back to see her!
So I went here twice, looked at a Subaru first, but my Credit wasnt so good, but I decided to save up some more money, and make a small down payment. Chris was happy to assist me. I told him about my problem, and my credit wasnt anywhere near good, But I felt like he wanted to help me anyway, regardless. After I did paperwork, he showed me a black Pontiac. It was cheep in my price range, and it was infact, a great car. I wanted a jeep, but I couldnt afford one. After I brought the car, he would always follow up with me, ask me how I was doing, there was one thing wrong with the remote start, and lock and unlock, so he called me to see how my car was after service. I never had a salesman do that! After 6 months when I get my credit to where I want it, I will buy my dream Jeep from Chris!

I will never be back. Salesman was great, but every experience Ive had from the time Ive purchased my 2016 Charger (which I love) since has been horrible. The service department support staff is abysmal, and once I was ready to make the purchase the finance staff treated me like I was Typhoid Marry. FIND ANOTHER DEALER!! If you want a Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler or Ram..... do yourself a favor and find a dealership that is excellent in all facets of service.
After confirming my test drive the morning of, they sold the vehicle and did not tell me. Had me take off work to come out there and offer me a vehicle $2000 higher (willing to match the price). Just like the other reviews, they will not tell you when they sell the car you are going to see. Go to a dealership with some professionalism.
Not the same dealership from when Bill owned it. He would personally come out and greet us. Once we got a number we would see him before signing anything. He always got us a lower price. Customer service is lacking now. The salesman seemed more concerned about making a deal so he could go home. He left with his Coach bag before we were done
I made an appointment for my 2015 grand cherokee to have a recall taken care of .When I arrived at the dealership 10:30am I was the 3rd person on line. I waited 20 minutes to see the service advisor while countless staff walked by this line not offering to help any of us. The first thing the service advisor said to me is I hope we have a loaner car for you we are running out. I reserved a loaner 10 days prior which is how long I needed to wait to bring my car in so they could provide one. When I purchased the vehicle from them 3 years ago, it was a 5yr 100,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty which cost $1700.00.They had no information on their computer stating I had it. The Service manager Paul couldnt help me either. I called Bill the owner to explain my frustration he was busy and never called back. I had to leave with my vehicle not fixed. This is the second time I have had an issue with their service department and I have only been there twice. Use another dealership they are incompetent. AnthonyI
To make a long story short: Fluid not filled during an expensive oil change and as soon as I left I heard scraping noises. I was told that they rotate tires as part of the service and I suspect the calipe was damaged. I now have to pay $675 for repairs, I am a single parent and this is a disaster. I really think the least they could do is to refund the oil change I paid for even though Im still left to deal with this. The whole reason I went there is to see if the brake fluid was low and they said they checked it and the brake pads all looked good etc...
My first exposure to this dealership. Josh Saftler was my salesman on a recent Ram lease. He was very helpful working out some unexpected bumps in the process. He even called me on his day off to set up a remote starter install. The management staff on a whole seemed to appreciate my business. Still some open items to take care of but I foresee a smooth conclusion. Would do business with them again.
Hudson Valley Chrysler is a class act dealership. I needed to find a vehicle with certain criteria needed for our expanding family and my travelling sales job. Thank goodness I went to Hudson Valley as I lost all hope to find decent, honest, professional people but I found that here and so much more. I felt like family and they worked so hard for me. Thank you so much to my sales guy Mike Smith and Eddie the sales manager who were exceptional and went above and beyond for us. The owners ofthis dealership, which he said hi as well, is blessed to have such honest, professional and friendly Management and Staff.
I was VERY hesitant to even deal with another dealership ESPECIALLY after my experience with RCJD. Biggest crooks ever. My ex-husband convinced me to go in and at least check it out as he had a very positive buying experience with Tom from HVCJD. I went in with no high hopes and dealt with Diana Hocutt. What an amazing person! Ive never had such a pleasant experience buying a car from a dealership. She was honest, up front, helpful and didnt try to blow smoke or lie to me which was my prior experience elsewhere. From the moment we walked in to the moment we drove away with our purchase, she was by our side. Side note, she even tossed some balloons in the car to make the buying experience that much more exciting for my daughters first car. She worked well with her staff in the dealership to make this a smooth transaction and the best part of all was NO HIDDEN BS NUMBERS that suddenly come up when youre about to close the deal. We got the car for the exact advertised price. Diana is great….if you decide to go there, make sure you at least meet her
I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great dealership. The staff was amazing and the prices were beyond fair . The management staff and salesman was great. They were there to help not push. I was able to work out the price with mike the manager and the new ownership makes the experience worth making the trip to Newburgh.

2021-10-14We had a very pleasant experience. As soon as we got to the place were greeted by a very nice sales associate name Shane. He made sure that he answered all of our questions and showed us many vehicles. He has such a great sense of humor which made the experience even more amazing. The walk through was great, place is kept very well from the sales floor to the mechanic shop in the back. When we arrived to pick up our vehicle it was ready to go.. the process was very fast and Shane went over ever detail of the car and paperwork! I would definitely highly recommend buying a car here.

2022-03-05My sales rep was Sam Abraham, he is a good sales rep, a hustler. I Sat there for a few hours while my vehicle was prepared to be delivered to me, I watched him handle 2-3 people at the same time. He deff has the skills. He deserves a promotion, he works hard. 2021-11-14Highly recommended....A year ago I went to Hudson Valley CDJR to look for a new vehicle and that was when I first met with a salesman by the name of Shane Mulstay. At the time I realized I was not ready to move forward with the purchase, but needless to say Shane was very informative and answered all of the questions I had. Recently I decided it was time to upgrade. I reached out to Hudson Valley CDJR and Shane said come in, lets talk, how can I help?.I then made my way back to Hudson Valley CDJR. Fast forward to today- I was able to pick up my new vehicle and I couldnt be happier with the process thanks to Shane from sales and Jason in Finance. He went above and beyond any one should when purchasing and taking delivery of a vehicle.I am very particular about my vehicles. I mean very particular. 2022-06-23Great service until they have your money and you walk off the lot. Once they happens, dont even expect to get them on the phone. Took 2 weeks to talk to the sales manager after consistently calling and emailing.I leased a 2022 Jeep Wrangler on 5/28 and have been trying to get damage (caused by their dealership) repaired since then. After finally getting the manager on the phone on 6/10, they let me know parts were ordered and would be in by 6/20. I was just told yesterday parts actually havent even been ordered and now are not in stock with no ETA of when they can get it in.On top of this they were supposed to process my registration in CT for me (again, very happy to take my money for this service). I have heard zero updates and the temporary plates expire Monday so I called myself to ask for an update yesterday. Apparently there is some sort of hold and I need to straighten out. No one even contacted me to tell me about this since 5/28 meaning they very clearly forgot to register my vehicle. Had I known weeks ago, I wouldnt be up against the wire to sort this out.

2022-03-02I had sales associate Shane throughout my car buying experience with Hudson Valley Jeep. He was respectful, available, and competent. Shane even went as far as to provide his personal cell phone and came in on his day off to allow my trade-in to be appraised. He certainly went above and beyond. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had a less than optimal experience with the “manager.” As with all dealerships, be sure to double check the numbers!

2022-03-25If I could. I would give no star. Bought a 2015 jeep Cherokee two weeks ago. There very nice because they want your money. But when I got home and washed the vehicle. I noticed it must of been in an accident. They never mentioned that. Took it to their technicians to check a lose wire and the smell of antifreeze. Turns out needed over 2,000.00 dollars repair. Talked to the manager. Got the impression he did not care at all. Said would look into it. Been over a week never heard from them again. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

2021-09-09My husband and I went auto shopping at a few dealerships and none came close to the level of professionalism, courtesy and care than Hudson Valley CDJR did.The Sales Consultant, Shane Mulstay,was so easy and excellent to work with from the beginning. He gets customer service and understands how important communication is. We are absolutely thrilled we discovered this dealership and would recommend them and Shane without any reservations.If you need a vehicle, save time and make this your first and only stop.

2021-09-16Coming to see Shane Mulstay and having him help me find the perfect vehicle for me was the best experience I have ever had. He took the time to listen to my concerns, wants and needs and explained everything that we would need to do to complete everything. This was honestly so much fun he even played with my 4 year old son while we did paperwork. He is such a nice person and I highly recommend going here and highly recommend seeing Shane.

2022-06-09Get your car serviced by a local mechanic and skip this place if you can help it. Expect to be nickel and dimed on repairs. Charging a credit card fee on expensive repairs is classless. Pull it from your “estimate fee”. I had to pay $60 in credit card fees to cover my $1400 charges. I wasn’t told up front and never considered stopping at a bank to withdraw $1500. To add insult to injury, my check engine light wasn’t on when I dropped my car off but on when I left.Great work fixing the problems I paid for. No complaints there. Just wouldn’t use them again unless I absolutely had to.
