I have been seeing Mark weekly for acupuncture for about a year. I was skeptical at first of acupunctures benefits and now I cant see myself ever stopping treatment. Mark takes a holistic approach to injuries and is thorough when explaining how the treatment is performed. Mark has had me focus more on my rest, recovery, and workouts to best support the treatments I receive at HVIM. Before starting acupuncture, I was unable to do any push-ups, presses, or overhead movements since my shoulder injury. Now, I am getting back to these movements pain-free and am finally feeling relief.The staff is warm and helpful. Anytime I have had an issue with an appointment time or an insurance question, they are attentive and quick to problem solve. I have never felt so at home at the doctors. I cant stop telling people about this place--and have already recommended three friends (who are all amazed at their results.)
If I could add a sixth star, I would! I started seeing Mark and Dr. Lehman for my left shoulder. An MRI said I had frozen shoulder. The result from a fall on the ice back in January. I was in severe pain. Unable to raise my arm above my head, or handle daily activities. Started physical therapy and acupuncture. I have an extreme fear of needles, Mark was very understanding and gentle and took his time with me. After a few weeks I was feeling amazing with no pain. With physical therapy behind me, I still see Dr. Lehman and Mark once a week. Dr. Lehman is amazing, caring and very professional, with his osteopathic manipulations of muscles I never knew I had. I never thought in a million years that I would look forward to acupuncture. It has truly changed the way my body feels. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! The office manager Maria and her staff are fantastic. They are kind, friendly, and very accommodating to your needs.
I have struggled with back pain for most of my life and as an active person it has been extremely frustrating. I’ve tried many different methods and facilities to help manage the pain, but it wasn’t until I went to HVIM that I found relief. First, the staff is amazing and will do their best to get you in for an appointment (same day, if necessary). Second, Marcel is an AWESOME acupuncturist that can determine which muscles are triggering pain. Finally, Dr. Lehman is a knowledgeable DO that also helps relieve pain. This talented clinic has such a wide range of ways to help with whatever type of pain you are dealing with. No one should cope with pain daily so give them a call and make an appointment!
I highly recommend Fernando! I hurt my lower back for the first time ever. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate, and he helped me to build my core and bend and lift properly. Fernando also gave me practical exercises and techniques to do at home. I am feeling myself again!
I had a great experience coming here especially during covid. Everything was very clean, and only one person doing pt at a time. Fernando my physical therapist was wonderful. He challenged me to keep going and wanting to do more. I also liked how he kept things interesting by doing different exercises weekly so I was never getting bored. Overall this was a great experience and i was lucky to find this place.
I have been using HVIM for almost a year. I find them to be kind and patient....and willing to listen.Dr. Leahman has helped reduce my back pain. He also is a great diagnostician. Mark Belnick provides acupuncture with a wealth of knowledge behind the treatment. I had a severe spasm this morning...the office kindly (did I mention the lovely staff?) gave me a same day appointment. Dr. Leahman and Mark Helped me feel 90 percent better. I would never have believed anyone could help reduce a spasm so quickly. I would recommend this practice highly.
I have been treated by everyone in this practice. My injuries ranged from pinched nerves to torn tendons. The integration of acupuncture, pt, and physiatry have healed all of my symptoms. Their level of knowledge, expertise, professionalism, empathy, and bed side manner was impeccable. In addition, the office staff provided a warm and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this practice for any medical need. In my opinion, there is nothing that this practice cant fix.
I have had nothing but positive experiences at HVIM. the staff is friendly and responsive. I had relieved multiple types of treatments (MD, PT, acupuncture) for a variety of ailments and have always come out satisfied and healthier. I especially appreciate that the staff is receptive to my input in regards to building a personalized treatment plan.

Fantastic acupuncture treatments. I had neck and shoulder pain and Mark and the staff helped relieve the pain. The facility is very clean and the staff are very welcoming. I would highly recommend and I am very thankful for all their help!

I had physical therapy with Fernando for several months for my knee pain. I must praise him for his excellent skills and professional approach. I am feeling much better now and I am convinced his efforts were the reason. I recommend him to everyone!
The Practice is medical board certified meaning you will be referred to a doctor before receiving your treatment . Dr Naomi Pelzig asked important questions and assessed my health before seeing an acupuncturist. I was then placed in the care of Marcel. Marcel explained the procedure and made me feel assuring and comfortable during my acupuncture treatment . The office staff was very helpful and accommodating and they accept horizon bc /bs .
Just completed by 3rd acupuncture treatment at Hudson Valley Integrated and it was fantastic. Came in with problem areas and Mark was wonderful in addressing the pain. Highly recommended!!! So glad I found an acupuncturist nearby!
Started goin for acupuncture and the whole staff is so helpful with all my needs. Very clean and friendly now starting massage therapy here they have every service for rehabilitation where I have tried so many other places and they were terrible. It’s been years since I’ve felt any better since my injuries and they are making progress with me and introducing me to other things I had no idea to try on my own.
Awesome place to relieve pain. I work with Mark who performed both acupuncture and cupping on my neck. The pain has subsided and I will continue to work with him on preventative measures to eliminate. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would highly recommend!
HVIM has helped me rehab from a significant neck injury and allowed me to avoid surgery. This practice is accommodating, caring, and they take time to listen to their patients. Highly recommend!
Mark is an amazing Acupuncturist, very knowledgeable and he explains exactly what he’s doing; anyone interested in trying Acupuncture or looking for an Acupuncturist should call and make an appointment!!
Dr. Lehman gave a great exam and is very personable. Fernando showed me great exercises and again, very personable and would listen to any questions or concerns I had. He tailored a program that worked for me. Marc was fantastic at acupuncture. The entire staff was pleasant and kind and always made me feel that I was important to them.

2022-05-26Went to Hudson valley for physical therapy after 2 work related incidents. Dr. Lehman and his staff were amazing. Not only did they handle all of the necessary paperwork with the utmost care, I was able to make full recoveries both times. The ladies at the front desk and back office were extremely kind and attentive. My physical therapist Fernando did an amazing job with my rehab. Highly recommend them.

Walking into the office you definitely get an immediate sense of comfort. 11 months ago i was barely walking my back hurt so much, now I am back to daily biking. Definitely recommend a visit if yon are in need of pain relief and or continued wellness.

2022-05-31I have been coming to HVIM for over 8 years now. When I first came, I had really hurt my back and could hardly move. I was able to walk out of the office! I have continued going there for acupuncture as well as seeing Dr. Lehman. I have also used their physical therapists following shoulder and back surgeries. I cant speak highly enough of everyone in the office, from the office staff, the manager Maria, Dr. Lehman, and the acupuncturists Mark and Marcelle.

2022-04-27I have been a patient of both Dr. Lehman and Mark Belnick for the past nine months. They have been able to help me tremendously with pain management as well as pain relief. I was very skeptical of acupuncture and was convinced after just one brief treatment that it would become an ongoing part of my life. Mark and Dr. Lehman have kept me as pain free as possible while helping me to find some holistic alternatives to managing my pain. As an older person I thought I had few options to keeping my active lifestyle going. Now Im optimistic that I can keep on moving and going forward with their help. The office staff is sensational- the culture of caring and commitment to their patients is obvious the moment you walk through the door.

2022-02-14I had severe back pain and couldn’t even perform daily activities. I went to Hudson Valley Integrated Medicine for exercise and therapy. The staff were very kind and helpful. Within two weeks I had a significant improvement. I definitely recommend for anyone experiencing pain.

2020-09-18HVIM turned a process I was avoiding into an experience I looked forward to! The office is sparkling clean and open and Janet who greeted me at the desk was warm and welcoming. The Covid precautions in place made you feel safe.Dr. Lehman put me at ease with his relaxed manner and obvious knowledge of my frozen shoulder symptoms. I was directed to the physical therapist, Fernando who is fantastic!He demonstrates skills that you trust immediately and provides endless variety in the exercises you do there as well as those to do at home. Best of all he is a delightful person to be with, smart, interesting to talk to and funny. He made my 3 months a joy and now my frozen shoulder has improved substantially. Can’t recommend this group highly enough.

2021-06-14Hudson Valley Integrated Medicine is one of the best medical practices I’ve been to. After my trip to the ER I was referred to a neuro surgeon who promptly referred me to Dr. Lehman. The office got me in right away to start physical therapy for my Anterolisthesis of the L5 vertebrae and spinal degeneration. The office is clean and the ladies behind the reception desk, Erica and Janet, are very friendly. I was nervous to start physical therapy, as this was my first time ever doing it. After my initial evaluation, I was coupled with Gloria, who is the sweetest lady ever. She showed me how to get into and out of bed without pain, tips for sleeping positions, as well as ways to improve my posture. I can’t begin to say how thankful I am for being referred to this practice. My back pain has improved immensely. I would recommend this practice to anyone who has been living with debilitating pain.
