The stay was great. The room was very nice BUT I LEFT MY CHARGER THERE AND CALLED THE HOTEL TO LET THEM KNOW AND THEY SAID THE MAID SERVICE DID NOT FIND IT. I LEFT THE CHARGER PLUGGED IN THE WALL BY THE TV. IM CONVINCED THAT THE MAID STOLE IT. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NOTHING WAS DONE TO FIX THE SITUATION. IM NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN. VERY DISHONEST
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was MUCH better than Hampton that all my relatives were staying at. The Hampton hotel next to us had smaller rooms and wasnt as great as Hyatt. Some things that I didnt like about the Hyatt hotel was the low variety of choices for breakfast, and the bathroom in the room was small. Dont even get me started on the location! There was a shopping center right around the corner that had great clothing stores, grocery stores, etc. Overall, the staff was extremely nice, comfortable setting, and nice rooms.
Perfect to settle in and unwind; convenience and space on a budget. The room was VERY spacious. More than I expected; definitely the type of room to stay in for a relatively long stay. I liked feeling like I was in a mini apartment; it made me pay spending a few hours in the room at a time. I was traveling for a funeral, and so had periods where I was solo, and the comfort of the room made it actually relaxing. As a gadget guy I appreciated the ton of plugs around the room. Also, lots and lots of surfaces. I like this in a hotel room; places to spread out clothes or items or whatnot. The property is literally next to a shopping center, so food was easy, and the fridge in the room made it convenient. Traveling alone, Id rather eat comfortably in my room, and there were many take-out options in the area, and couple supermarkets very close (one in walking distance.)The room was thoroughly clean, but my couch and some of the walls had some stains. Nothing that creeped me out too much, just not pristine. For the money it was not a problem and essentials (towels, bedding, bathroom, floor) was seemingly very clean, so the small stains I mark up as general wear and tear. One of peeves is a lack of smart TVs in hotel rooms. TOTALLY NOT A PROBLEM, but it always irks me that a nicer hotel room will not have a TV with WiFi access. There are several ports for wired connections to tablets/llaptops, so it is EASILY worked around (if you have the appropriate wires), but its always weird to me that hotels dont get the smart TVs when they install. The breakfast was un impressive, but I appreciated the courtesy. The typical budget fare: fruit, cold cereals, bagels and toast, egg & sausage sandwiches, juice, yogurt, etc. I needed a quick bite so I appreciated it, but its really only there as a convenience, not anything grand. With Covid restrictions I got the sense that the service was dialed back and that typically there might be better fare.Another small nitpick thing (that is not a big deal at all) is the length of the hallways. I know – that sounds weird, but the elevators are VERY far from some rooms. I was leaving the property and realized I forgot something and it took a solid 5 minutes to get all he way from the lobby, to my room, and back because my room was at the end of the hall. Just keep it in mind if you are traveling with someone with ambulatory limitations; it is a bit of a walk to the elevators to some rooms.Overall, Id definitely book again. Convenience and space on a budget; a solid room to unwind on a multi-night trip or a trip where you know youll be in your hotel room a bit.
Great hotel for short stays. The gym is very weak. No water fountain, no balls not enough benches, no towels. But there are a ton of head sets which no one uses. The smoke alarm was buzzing for a new battery and the staff really dont care. The bar and breakfast area is the place to be for socializing.
Positive: The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Exactly as advertised and I would definitely stay here again. Negative: Bathrooms need to be updated. They don¿t match the elegant decor of the rooms. Also stated pool was open, but ilooked closed & under construction when I attempted to go. A note on the indoors pool door stated contact staff if you want to use the pool.
Staff are friendly and the room is reasonably clean. Incentives are free parking and decent breakfast choices. But Id stayed at nicer Holiday Inn Express and was expecting Hyatt to be a more upscale hotel than this place. Nothing to compliant but I just cant see how I can give better than 3 stars rating.
Positive: This hotel is pretty centrally located. Theres free breakfast and free wifi. They also have a pool and a bar. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room has a fridge but no microwave. Negative: I like my room to be cleaned daily but many hotels including this one will not clean during your stay.
Positive: That the hotel staff were so accomodating as well as informative. The room was so nice & very clean. The food was was tasty.I would absolutely stay there again. The pool was a nice touch as well. Negative: Well, it would have been nice if there was a buffett breakfast but there wasnt which was ok.
Disappointing, considering it cost over $500 for 1 room with two queen beds. I had reservations for myself, 2 adult daughters and one 24 pound dog. I was first given a room with one bed, called office immediately and they just asked if I touched anything, no apology. They did give me a 2 queen bed then. The room was sub par with ripped sofa and tape repaired furniture. The elevator reeked of potThe breakfast was good, with a variety of prepackaged breakfast items. I have stayed in comfort inns, that were so much nicer, for less than half the price.
Both my Brother and I arrived on Oct. 2 for a two day stay. First impression front desk staff not Helpful when asked about ATM or taxi Service in the Area. Dumb founded look.Room not renovated in years carpet filthy. No pen or writing paper. My Recommendation there are better choices next store Hampton Inn
I stayed here for a long time and I can not say enough good things about this hotel, to start with the staff, it was a great staff, Reggie was amazing and so were Michelle, Gosia, Caroline and the rest of them were all great. The breakfast is excellent, always freshly made breakfast and tastes good too.The location is great because it has Whole Foods Market right across and Traders Joes is right there too.Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
It’s certainly challenging to host hotel guest during this uncertain time but Hyatt has this well under control. Everyone was in compliance and even a hot sealed breakfast was available. Very tasty. The kids are also given access to the pool. Limited capacity swimming. It’s easy to feel relaxed here. The ladies at the desk are being beyond accommodating. I will certainly look to return to this hotel if I ever find myself in the area again. Great stay!
Horrible service at front desk. If you need assistance when it comes to your room charges....forget it....I cant believe how absolutely unprofessional. I had myself and 4 employees stay there and was treated as if I was a nuisance when asking for copies of each invoice. I was apparently a bother. Will never stay here again nor will my employees.
The hotel front desk guy was rude. I put in a special request that I was coming early. I came at 12 and the guy said there was no rooms and they were booked since last night... How is there no rooms when check out is at 11am? Also the parking lot wasn’t even full with cars. Anyways the guy told me to come back an hour to an hour half later. He stilled claimed there was no rooms at 1:30..... so magically at 3 o’clock there will be rooms available. I couldn’t believe the treatment I was getting. It was despicable and disgusting, I had paid for the room in advance I don’t understand why he didn’t want toGive me a room maybe my skin color had something to do with it ✊🏿😔. I will take my business else where next time.
This is Mrs Y Sharpe, I just wanted to thank all of the managers and rest of the staff at the front desk for their support, understanding, and prayers for my son, who is now doing much better. I felt like the Hyatt staff was my family while I was away from home. May you all continue to stay safe and blessed.
Was not happy with my stay. We were there on a business trip with our 3mo infant - I saw a roach crawl up the wall from a dresser that was installed into the wall. When I tried to grab my phone to record it, it had already crawled back into one of the crevices. Saw it again come out of the side of the dresser this time, couldn’t catch it on camera so I called front desk for a refund. Instead they sent 2 people to inspect my room, which was fine but after only removing the draws to the dresser and trying to give a “thorough” search they said that they don’t see anything. At 4am I wake up to fix myself food (eating at other times when you have a baby is tough).. I put my food on the counter, walk to use the bathroom and when I walk back the SAME roach was crawling on my food & I just threw everything away. If the dresser is installed into the wall & has crevices, what the hell is removing drawers going to do?I spoke with the hotel manager several times for a refund, she did not give it to me. I left messages for the GM & she never returned my calls.I had a horrible experience & I can’t even be compensated for my inconvenience. I will not be returning.
Nice enough hotel and a Hyatt Place with the exact same cookie cutter room as you would find at every other property in the brand. Also a very typical suburban location with strip malls and shopping center and other big box retailers all around plus your same collection of mass chain restaurants in the vicinity.Best feature was a strong air conditioner that worked well on the very hot and humid day of my stay. Room was kept cool and comfortable instead of a unit that never really did the job.A few small demerits for things needing attention were floor tiles in the bathroom that were uneven and not secure, a bathroom fan that did not turn on, a spot with weird stains on the wallpaper and strange pink soap residue left over from a previous guest in the shower soap tray.
Great weekend getaway place ! Our room was spotless and very updated. TV has Chromecast included and good channels , pool room and water were super hot , people don’t follow the pool limits (10pp at the time) . The front desk guy / bartender did the most horrible drink ever but I had a good chat with him so I didn’t mind . I’ll definitely bring my family over again soon
Very good experience. The staff was extremely attention and were very welcoming. Rooms are clean and look to be updated. Not a big fan of the sink being outside the bathroom, but at least there is space for your toiletries. Could also use a better solution for drawers, as the only ones there are by the sink. Still, not a deal breaker. The bed was pretty comfortable, and having a sofa, desk, and refrigerator in the room is a plus. The television area was nice, easy to hook up a streaming stick. I also love that theres an Ethernet drop in the room, for those of us that like to bring a travel router. Breakfast was pretty standard. Overall I was pleased and will be returning.
They gave me the wrong room that I had booked but I had no problem with that ... I was satisfied with their amenities as far as they were offered. Mainly, hot water for shower and soap, tooth brush and cups are all in the room. Service was alright. Being Asian, Im assuming the staff at first thought I was a lost kid so they kind of werent as warmly greeting me as they did the middle aged man after me. Everything is fine. I would stay again
Their services are impeccable. Their rooms are very spacious and neat. The restaurants are very comfortable and offers out of this world buffet services. The location is just perfect for everyone and easily accessible. Their rates are fair to all and cannot hesitate to recommend is top notch hotel. 5*****!!
For Christmas eve. My girlfriend and I stayed a night at Hyatt place Garden city. this place is surrounded by many shopping mall and stores that you can go out and enjoy. we were satisfied with their amenities like an indoor pool temperature great and the continental breakfast. We got a really clean room with sofa and enough towels and where to hang clothes near shower! First of all, The staffs were so nice and always smiled to other guests. While we got breakfast and asked something at front dest, The staffs that we met looked happy, even though Holiday season means the staffs should’ve been day off, if I gave 10 out of 10, I’d give 10!! I want to share their awesome service to other people that want to stay at hotel. This was the greatest hotel I have ever stayed. Thank you for everything! we will visit here again!
Room was clean, breakfast was really good and pool was great. We had an issue checking inn (not because of Hyatt) and Reggie went out of his way to make us feel welcome. It was my birthday and you just helped it be that much happier. Thank you for your hospitality. Staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly.
Stayed with my husband and 3 kids for 3 nights for a wedding. We did not feel overcrowded in the room. Having the couch is great. Kids loved the pool. Free breakfast was a plus. Typical hotel breakfast but big enough selection for 5 diff appetites. Comes in handy with little kids. As usual Hyatt Place fit our needs.
The room was a pleasant surprise with a suite-like look and feel. It had a couch, a counter, refrigerator and desk. The rooms are very modern, new and clean. The only disappointment was that the coffee maker in our room didnt work, and we couldnt get complimentary coffee downstairs because it was after breakfast hours. The staff are very polite, helpful and capable and helped us get a taxi quickly when our Uber driver failed to find the place.Overall, great place and would visit again.
Its just alright. Better than Motel 6 but not quite a Hilton. Gave us the wrong room and the manager wasnt very polite. The breakfast was good, but any food you order from the front desk seems to be pre-made and reheated. Drinks were good. The wifi is basically useless.Update: Next day, the hot water stopped working at 11am. They said it be back on by 6pm. Its now 8 and still no hot water.Update 2: hot water came on after 8:30 and it was brown for a while.
The staff treated us well and accommodated us when we arrived early after a cross country red eye flight with small children. Our room was comfortable and they provided us with a crib. The hotel seems to host many wedding parties and after their receptions guests return to the hotel which has a bar and made to order food available. When we were there one of the parties really trashed the lobby and made it hard to get down to pick up our food orders (no room service, but you can call and order then pick up). The staff was wonderful and did their best to take care of us but they were a little understaffed to handle the big party.
My friend had reserved 2 rooms for her bridal party here. When we arrived we were told someone from our party arrived and checked in earlier. Nope. No one. To make things more awkward, the staff members and supervisors were arguing then the supervisor started giving us attitude. At this point the bride who had been calm is now clearly irritated. The supervisor picks up on this and gives us a bottle of wine as apology. The only 2 rooms they had available were on 2 different floors so we had to run between 2 floors during our stay. We asked for a steamer but they only had 1 available and it did not work. Im sure this place is a great place. We just had a bad experience. The breakfast is good, the fruits and cookies were good. But they are unreliable and need more teamwork training.
Great place for hotel wedding blocks! Check in was a breeze for my whole large family and everyone got one of the welcome bags I prepared for them. The staff were so sweet and congratulated us several times. They stored my extra cake in their fridge so we could enjoy it later that night. They even kept the pool open late for us when we had an impromptu pizza pool party!! The room was very clean and spacious enough that my large family could hang out in our room - the couch was huge and cozy. The bacon and pancakes at breakfast were the perfect hangover food! I could not have asked for a more perfect end to my wedding night!
Stayed there for two weeks, overall had a pleasant stay but a few things bothered me.The room was big and the bed comfortable, nothing to complain about except maybe the noisy AC unit. The breakfast is really nice with a lot of choice, and the fitness room and pool are a plus. The staff is friendly and smiling. Now the things that were disappointing considering the price :- Ive been woken up on two different days by the excruciating high pitched sound of the fire alarm going on and off for 5 mins, the explanation given was someone stayed in the shower for too long- The prices of drinks at the bar are prohibitive- Im not used to the credit card system (in europe we mostly use debit cards) but asking for the whole price to be put on hold on your credit card at check-in is inconvenient and this wasnt made clear when I booked the hotel.- They charged my card the day before checkout without notice. Again Im used to european hotels where you pay everything at checkout after reviewing the receipt but this was also unexpected for me.
I love this place! Our second stay at this place in the past month or so. Its great, it has the biggest and deepest pool Ive seen in a hotel, and the complimentary breakfast is the best Ive had at a hotel. The only downside to me is the price. Chris, one of the receptionist/bartenders knows the area really well and has given us several ideas for food and fun while were there. When we go back to Garden City next year, we know where well be staying.
My first stay at a Hyatt and Im a fan! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is really nice and their skillets seem more upscale than your typical free hot breakfast. And the ability to grab a glass of wine, coffee or hot or cold sandwich from their Market is convenient and was tasty. The gym was large but only a couple of treadmills, but not very busy. This hotel is easy access from the highway and near some great shopping and amazing restaurants. I didnt have my dogs with me on this trip, but I was happy to see the hotel is also pet friendly. Great hotel, Ill be back.
Great hotel -- very clean, comfortable, and modern. When I checked in, there was a computer snag that caused a brief delay. The staff couldnt have been nicer about it, apologizing, offering complimentary drinks and snacks, and just being incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room is large and well designed with a living room-ish side, a bedroom-ish side, and a TV that can pivot in either direction. If I need to stay in the area again, I will definitely return to this hotel.
They put me in a handicap accessible room. (The only king size bed room that I reserved was a smoking room. I do not smoke!) The room adjacent to mine had smokers in it:( my room smelled like cigarettes the first night. The floor drain in the bathroom smelled like sewage. I had to keep the door to the bathroom shut with the vent on the entire time to prevent the rest of the room from smelling like sewage.I did mention this at the end of my stay what I was checking out. Im not a fan of complaining to get a new room as I believe it should be correct the first time. Ill just leave appropriate feedback and not use this brand in the future.
I was here from Virginia Beach, VA for a wedding. I was surprised as to how courteous and friendly the staff is. However, Im disappointed that the housekeeping staff was in my room and my Paris Hilton oils were stolen. I saw them on the floor when I left my room @10:30 & when I returned 8 hours later is I discovered the oils were gone. I would have given 4-5 stars but the incident caused ill feelings.
I had the room with two queen beds and sectional couch and it was great. I slept on the comfotable couch and my daughters had the beds. There is a privacy divider that makes the room almost a suite. Very clean, shower hot, no noise from freeway (we were in 623, top floor). I will stay here next time were up here for Hofsta visit. We also have a room at Hampton Inn next door (they were out of rooms and we found the room too small, no room for rollaway bed) so I would pick Hyatt for sure.
Not as nice as we expected. For a fairly new, and not inexpensive hotel, everything is pretty well worn. Broken tiles in bathroom, furniture that looks like a dog chewed on it. Wallpaper and paint falling off walls. Almost non-existent WiFi. Breakfast was pretty basic, but they were out of just about everything and took forever to put any more out. One elevator was out of order the entire time we were there. Routinely waited 5-10 minutes for elevator.First person we talked to at the front desk couldnt answer most questions, and those he did, we found out later he answered wrong. At approximately 3am I was woken up by the smell of something burning. No smoke or alarms. Called the front desk, and they sent someone up around 5 minutes later. He said he didnt smell anything in the hall only in our room, and if there was a real problem the alarms will go off.Overall pretty disappointed in this place. Probably would not return or recommend.
Im pretty much giving this pace a 3 stars for the location and fast check in . The first room that we got had a funky smell we couldnt bear staying in there so our concierge whom was very patient switched us to another room . The second room smelled like bleach we thought that maybe we were close to the pool. Beside the bleach smell, the room was clean and spacious. No i would not reccomend it to anybody else but for the price we paid it was not so bad.
Terrible customer service and follow up. We reserved a two queen beds room with a sitting area weeks in advanced. When we called then the day of arrival to this hotel they said our room was reserved and everything was fine, when we arrive we didn’t get that room but a smaller room that couldn’t hold as much people . They had no extra rooms either . Terrible service way better at the motel 8 .
This place was terrible. Ill never stay at a Hyatt property again. Dirty lobby, crowded with people that didnt seem to be staying here...some were escorted out by police - then the fire alarm went off, and the manager was beside himself - then the elevators locked down. Finally got upstairs and had to listen to kids running up the hall around midnight...did I mention the climate control would only blow cold air, when it was 35 degrees out? Stay away....Ill still with Marriott Bonvoy
Free parking, free WiFi, free breakfast with great variety! Very spacious rooms, We could fit up to five people in the Queens Double bed rooms. Very awesome and theyre smoke free! Unless you want a smoking room. Everything was great! Very clean and modern-ish. Quiet area. The general food was overpriced though, 12 dollars for a cheeseburger then tax. They have late night options for food and basic Starbucks inside.
I was very displeased because The elevator broke down more than once during our stay and my grandmother was with me. There was no way she could walk five flights of stairs, and to top it off she was already in a bad / sad mood because her brother has a few months to live which is the reason we traveled this far to New York from Miami. The staff at the front desk was nice but at the same time no one can give answers for the elevators all answers were “we don’t know” etc.
This hotel is typical of Hyatts. The staff were polite, the rooms were clean and orderly, and my stay was quite enjoyable. My room was a decent walk from the elecator, being at the very end of a fairly long hallway, but that wasnt really an issue. My main gripe with the hotel is its wifi. The connection was fairly slow but serviceable. Id probably stay here again given the option.
What I love about this hotel is the friendly people and the location. Everyone there seems very eager to help with anything you might need while traveling. Very refreshing! Also, the location is walking distance from shops and restaurants (Banana Republic and Noodles & Co are my favorites)... and right near a mall and DSW. So there is plenty to do close by the hotel. The rooms are all suites, I believe, and have a sectional couch which is great for watching TV or working without having to sit on the bed like a normal hotel room. Great place!
I had an extremely negative experience with this hotel. I made 4 attempts to contact the hotel within the course of a week to block 20+ rooms for a wedding; I did not even hear back from them until my wedding venue made a phone call to the hotel to find out why I hadnt been contacted yet. The only reason I still considered staying at the hotel was because of a complimentary night in addition to shuttle service offered to the guests (which all other hotel employees knew nothing about). After setting up a meeting with the hotel to look at rooms, I came to find that the person I was supposed to meet with was not there and I did not receive a courtesy call. The shuttle service is also only provided for up to 28 guests which is useless as I would have brought the hotel more than 50 people. I felt my family and I were treated with such disrespect and felt the service was the most unprofessional I have ever experienced.
I get its long Island and it is expensive but it was very disappointing for a Hyatt. There are only 2 slow elevators and one was broken and I saw no attempt to repair it. Stayed in a business suite the beds were on the cheap stiff side but it did the job. The view out the window is ugly buildings. Definitely not a place for a romantic getaway. The only reason this is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because they had a really good breakfast buffet and the staff was friendly.
Kyra at the front desk was the best part of the experience. The room was great. The reason for 3 star is the younger gentleman that work the eveing shifts are rude, and you feel like you are interrupting them when you need help. Horrible. Would love to have given a 4-5 star but every night they were consistently bad. Kyra should be promoted. She remembered me each night and genuinely seemed excited to help people.
Had a wedding block here. They bumped 6 of my guests the night of the wedding to make room for their bigger client the airline flight crewWhen did we find out?Getting off the Shuttle in the evening, following the reception. They offered rooms at The Red Roof Inn as an alternative.Yeah no offense to Red Roof, but they are not comparable. That went over like a fart in a spacesuit.Needless to say we were mighty miffed.Biggest regret of our wedding.
I booked a $264 on Priceline for a queen size room. I arrived around 11:40pm. Was told there was only one room available on the ground floor next to the pool. The room smelled like mildew for one. In my bathroom I could hear the water from the pool. The heat never kicked on. My room was freezing when I woke up. Maintaince came in the room and confirmed that it was freezing in my room. I complained to Jose and the maintaince manager in the morning. Was told that they couldn’t help me due to the booking through Priceline. I called Priceline and they couldn’t get a site manager on the phone to verify what happen til the next day. I was then told by Priceline that the Hyatt manager will only reimburse me $50. This is so sad. I’ll never do it again. Not my first time at this hotel and very upset.
The service was alright; not too bad but not the best either. When I went to return the room key, the employee at the desk was carrying on a conversation with his coworker and didnt stop to really acknowledge us. He didnt even make eye contact. He kept talking to his coworker and only reached out his hand to take the key. Other than that, nothing else was bad enough to complain about.
It’s small things that count. Hotel is next to a Trader Joe’s. Bought my favorite canned food and go back to Hyatt Place and asked nicely if they had a can opener. Not nicely the person at the front desk relied “No”. Not nice at all. Tomorrow night I’ll be in a Marriott and I’ll take my unopened can on spaghettios with me and they will have a can opener. Little things make a big difference. Not happy with the Hyatt.
If you planning on blocking out rooms for a wedding, look somewhere else. Easy way to ruin your wedding night. Bride/Groom denied reserved suite after wedding b/c the bride didnt have her ID. It didnt matter that the groom had valid ID. So if you want to end your wedding night in tears, choose Hyatt!
Hard to find the staff to check in. There was someone else luggage in our room. Empty lotion bottle on the night stand, old newspaper on the counter, iron and ironing board not put away, dirty bath tub and nail clipping on the bed. Did not even attempt to get us new room. Contacted Hyatt main office response was sorry about that hope you try us again. Seriously Hyatt what kind of response is that. Go anywhere else but Hyatt.
My family booked rooms here for a wedding back in June 2016, for a June 24th 2017 wedding date. My mother in law also paid extra to host the rehearsal dinner in one of the meeting rooms. Two weeks before the wedding, they informed the bride and groom their block of rooms were lost! With no real explanation, they were over booked for the weekend. We received no real apology because the Hyatt felt they fixed the problem by moving us next door to the Hampton Inn. We did not receive confirmation that anyone had a room until 3 days before wedding. The Hyatt waited to the last minute to hand over information to the Hampton Inn. Bottom line this was beyond poor customer service. We received a better apology from the Hampton Inn, who did not even make the mistake. Simply absurd and poor management!
My wife, 2 friends, and I get back from a friends wedding around 1145p and both elevators are stuck on 3 with “out of service” illuminated. We ask the front desk to investigate. After some time, those who have lost patience, due to the time at night, take off up the stairs, while a pregnant friend and I, wait, hoping the elevators will be fixed soon. After 10-15 minutes of a waiting, and a crowd forming, my friend and I gave up and started our pilgrimage to the 5th and 6th floor. When we arrived at the 4th floor we saw an employees coming down the stairs, and we made the offhand comment, “It isn’t the coolest to make a pregnant woman hike to the 6th floor...” and the employee of the Hyatt empire was very apologetic and responded with, “What the hell you want me to do about that?” ...Well, Mr. Saltine, I don’t know how the Hyatt family of hotels handle customer relations, but I’m sure in the handbook, probably towards the front, it read DON’T be a crabby patty to guest, especially those who are pregnant...I gave you two stars. 1 star for your service and professionalism, the other star for the size of the room WHICH, we told you we could take a down grade to get checked in quicker, but your front end staff PANICKED and kicked someone out of their room to give us what we booked instead ofl etting is accept something smaller.
ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont even know where to begin.I do want to say that I NEVER write reviews unless theyre good but I would never want another bride to have to go through what my bridesmaids and I had to go through!! I had a block of rooms for my wedding. First of all, a year before the wedding when I was planning everything, they would never call me back. Finally when I went there to pick up the hotel cards for the invitations every person was clues. They were all either rude or a total moron. When I came closer to the wedding I had at least 10 guest call me and tell me that there werent anymore rooms (only because I had many out of towners and they were asking if there was a hotel near by that I knew of off hand). I called the woman (who I mentioned above that is impossible to get in touch with) and she said that there were 12 rooms left and that they must have made a mistake!!!!! IT GETS WORSE!!! My bridesmaids and I arrived the night before the wedding and when we walked in absolutely no one helps us!!! My dress was huge and took 2 people to carry it. The next day we were getting ready and wanted to toast with mimosas. We asked for orange juice....they made it seem like I was asking for a free room!!! LASTLY.... and this is by far the most disgusting thing Ive ever experienced from someone who was providing a service to me. My photographer was getting shots of me alone in my hotel room and the cleaning lady didnt even knock!! She walks right in demanding that we leave because she needed to clean the room. I understand that she needs to do her job but the way she just walked into a room like an animal was totally un called for. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. The rooms were ok but I would rather stay at a motel 6 then ever deal with these rude morons EVER again!!!!!
Clean and up to date hotel. Short Uber/Lyft to WESTBURY LIRR station. Shake Shack, Trader Joe’s at the outlet mall across the street. Basic gym but never crowded. 20 min drive to Roslyn or Huntington. All staff were courteous and knew when I was happy to be left alone. Sometimes you just want a quiet drink at the bar in peace.
Racist hotelI spent 290 dollars to have some where to watch my kids for the day and put them in a pool instead I was walked out and searched by police when I asked management why was I being kicked out they said that there was a strong presence of marijuana leaving my room I welcomed the police in my room allowed them to look thru my stuff and stay in the room till I got out I was told I still couldn’t stay and they wanted me out so I asked for a refund and they told me because they think I was smoking in my room I will not be allowed to stay or refund I personally do not smoke marijuana it makes me paranoid I was sleeping during the time of police arrival I was not aware of the situation no type of warning I’ve been staying in hotels for 2 weeks and never been escorted out or been reported for smoking I will take it to corporate and if I do not get my way I will file a law suit because this isn’t right I’m a 22 year old father living in his car I couldve went somewhere else and I wasn’t even smoking I don’t suggest any African Americans should go there.

2022-05-10Comfortable, quiet, and plenty of accommodations. The access to the internet and printer for free really helped when in a crunch. Room was clean and smelled fresh; always a plus. The showers were huge, loved the room. Good stay when you have business in Long Island.

2022-03-15Positive: This was a very nice hotel. Very good breakfast and the pool was nice. Negative: Couldnt figure out how to get wifi on PS4 for the kids so had to use my phone as a hotspot. The cable kept cutting out while trying to watch TV could be due to weather as it was very windy out.

2022-05-07** PAID PARKING ** didn’t mention this at all during check in and who would expect paid parking at this location! Anyways - room was clean and big enough for the 5 of us and wouldn’t complain.Courteous front desk and good assortment of breakfast though it’s a repeat every day.If you want to avoid the paid parking, park on the street or the Whole Foods lot. Or pay $10 a day.

2022-03-15Positive: I was skeptical at first because I travel a lot and have had my fair share of horrible hotels but this hotel exceeded my expectations! First, the two young ladies who work at the front desk were so friendly and professional. A+ to them Negative: No complaints

2022-03-01Positive: The best about this hotel is the staff, keyless entry to the hotel rooms, continental breakfast. The pool is a great addition although we did not have time to use it. Glad to hear it was open. Negative: Nothing at all.

2022-05-23Positive: This hotel had more staff then ive ever seen in a hotel, must be a training ground. Negative: Average hotel. Close to the mall but not much else going for it. Elevators were slow and crowded.

2022-03-27Everyday had the same breakfast, as well as poor room service. We had called and asked the front desk for towels twice, and they hadn’t delivered any after saying they were. There was also no coffee or room service provided. Very disappointed.
