I only booked this place because it was pet friendly. I didnt even take my dog. My daughter stood with him. The pool is small. The fit room only has dumbbells and treadmills n i think a bicycle machine. No cups for the water fountain and no water in the water machine. The rooms were good. Good showers. They have a tiny parking lot. They do have parking for their guests but its a walk and its a 5 dollar a day charge. The guy at the front desk was very patient and helpful. I think his name was Nick. Very informative. Breakfast was good. Nice selection and food was good.
Pros: nice hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good a/c/heat, they validate parking, great location to see all of the attractions, nice staff that provided extra blankets when needed.Just up the street (1block) is the Hard Rock Cafe. Fun place but be prepared to spend double what you would at a normal sit down restaurant (this is nothing for or against Hyatt just a side note).Cons: breakfast was subpar (2 maybe 3 out of 10stars), pool is small, parking is across the street in a parking garage on the 3rd floor.
When on holiday/vacation in Niagara Falls, NY we stayed at Hyatt Place. Breakfast included (prepackaged❤️). The staff is friendly and helpful when looking for things to do and places to go (parking not included, no microwave in rooms). Nevertheless it is nicely located in walking distance of restaurant, shops, & clubs (if that’s your thing) and much more in terms of entertainment. Less than a 10 minute walk to one of the outlook points overlooking the Falls (USA side), and you can literally walk across the boarder into Canada (don’t forget your passport). There are a lot of things to do on the strip in Niagara Falls, Canada. The 4 star rating is based on taxes & parking fees (Canada side). One area was $10 for 30 minutes to park. Research parking before you go if you are driving across the boarder and there is a 13-15% tax depending on what you purchase. I still recommend visiting.
We visited here for our 10yr anniversary. Although we didnt have very good weather most of the time, the hotel staff made our stay amazing. We were able to have a room facing Canada, thank you Jared! Everyone was so sweet and if were ever in this area again, well definitely be back to stay here!
The guy at the front desk was super nice and the room looked amazing. It had a large couch that could be opened into a bed in the living area. Indoor pool and workout facility. There’s a nice little restaurant/bar inside that has insanely affordable food! Definitely the nicest hotel in the area with the closest location to the falls.
We had an excellent experience here. The lady at the front desk (Im so sorry i forgot her name) came outside to show us where to go into parking ($5 a day), assured us we could stay in front of the hotel as long as we needed to get all of our things out.Same lady, came up within minutes, when we asked for another blanket at 2 am! She was wonderful!Rooms are clean. The sofa/ pull out bed was comfortable as well. The hotel is 4 mins walking distance from Niagara falls state park - excellent location. I didnt actually need to take my car out during our stay here. While we couldnt see the light show from the top of the hotel, the best place to view the fireworks at 10 is the 6 th floor of the hotel!
Great hotel. The parking is across the street for $5 a night. I saw lots of reviews complaining about this but its a piece of cake. Check in first, unpack your luggage, go park and walk across the street. Bring your ticket and they validate. Couldnt be more seamless. Highly recommend this hotel compared to some others that arent as nice.
Beware! If you don’t book your room directly through the Hyatt’s website and make the reservation through athird party then, they will double charge your credit card for the same room, deny to provide you copy of that charge and then, ask you to contact the third provider and ask them to drop the initial charge on your credit card. You will be left to get the situation fixed through your credit card provider.Other than that, everything was great!Just make sure to make your reservation directly through the Hyatt’s website and NOT through a third provider or, ELSE.You have been warned!
Rachel Dorgan and her team at The Hyatt did a wonderful job in making sure accommodations were taken care of, among many other things. While I am usually a Marriott member, the professionalism and kindness shown was one for the record books. As long as she continues to to have oversight At Niagara, I will happily return over any other location. For once, I can truly say that the experience here triumphs over luxury.
Very disappointed with my stay. The sofa bed and the nightstand were not throughout cleaned, there was something like chocolate crumbs on both the sofa bed and the nightstand. There was a layer of dust on the windowsill. The bottom of the shower curtain was full of water stains in red, which was DISGUSTING. The desk lamp was flickering and made my eyes so uncomfortable when working on my laptop. No laundry bag provided. It looks like there was an area with wine stains on the carpet. The only good thing is that the hotel is very close to the falls. However, with such a high price (nearly $400 per night) and such a bad cleanliness quality, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other hotels nearby so no need to choose this one at all.
Hotel was not very clean. We had to switch rooms after the first night due to dog hair on the pillows. Second room was pet hair free but the bathroom as gross. All of the faucets were so lose and felt as if they would fall off. Breakfast was good. The bartender was not friendly. Ashleigh, who worked the front desk was very friendly and the most helpful staff there. I would not recommend this hotel to others unfortunately.
Horrendous! Stayed here during my sons travel ice hockey team tournament. The hotel would not allow our hockey bags into the room. The staff told us we would have to keep the equipment in the car and I told the staff we have over $2,000 worth of equipment and its not staying in the car. My son has traveled for ice hockey for three seasons now and never has a hotel told us we cannot bring hockey equipment into our hotel room. Most of the staff was courteous but one staff member would tell us one thing and another staff member would contradict it. Not a very efficiently Run Hotel. Some of the towels in the bathroom when we first arrived were dirty. I would not recommend staying at this hotel
Parking was across the street in a parking garage, my room was very clean & the breakfast was the best breakfast any hotel has ever offered me. They provided regular and sugar free syrup, gluten free bread & a nice selection of grab and go items. You’re within comfortable walking distance to the falls & the staff were very nice. After driving 12 hours here, I would most definitely come again. They made my experience extremely pleasant.
We stayed here to see the falls for a total of 4 nights. Upon arrival, the host was not welcoming and just gave a us a random room on the second floor. We were annoyed so the next day we spoke to a representative named Ashley who assisted us with the inconveniences and made our stay 10x better. I would stay here again.Pros:- location- parking right across the hotel- spacious rooms- breakfast includedCons:- breakfast options- noisy guests & kids running around past 10 pm.
So sorry to say this but your bar needs help. We came in on 5/10/22 around 10 or so. Someone pointed out menus and we sat at a table to order food and drinks. We watched the single bartender focus on a group of 2 or 3 guys at the bar. They had their drinks and they were set but she flirted with them and causally wiped the counter so she could keep chatting them. We sat for about 20 minutes watching her. She never came to take our order.. we ended up leaving.. We tried to find somewhere else to drink and I ended up going back to go straight to bar and I waited about 10 minutes (one other person at the bar!) she knew I was there and if she didn’t she’s super unobservant. She started to fiddle with stocking or something when I had to vocally sigh to get her attention. Then she finally over and I felt very unwelcome. She is either so oblivious to her surroundings or her main job interest is flirting with guys. We leave good tips so tell her to not over look the polite patient couple in order to snag attention from guys at the bar.
I stayed for one night! Perfect location for the falls! 10 minute walking distance to see the US falls! Some minor wall scratches and furniture stains needs to be addressed. The free breakfast is the standard continental style you expect from hotels in this price range.
The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good they had several cold option and 3 warm food include pancakes and scrambled eggs. You shouldn’t expect perfect buffet breakfast but it is good. The room was well designed and clean but our room was in second floor and the view was awful which you can see in my photos. We asked to change but they didn’t have any other room so make sure don’t book first and second floor! But the hotel is really close to the falls and you can go and see falls in lights at night till 2 am.
The staff at this hotel is friendly and efficient. They took great care of us! Its great to stay close enough to walk to the Falls, Goat Island, Maid of the Mist, and Cave of the Winds. Its right next to the Canadian border too. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. We will definitely stay here again?
Deserves another review after the pandemic. Staff was great. The printer uses an email service, which is fine, but printer was lower quality than I would expect for a business service. The bar needs an expanded menu. Location and value/price ratio are very good. I was part of an event though, so prices may vary.
Breakfast was great and not just a bag as I read in other hotels! The Hyatt had a small rooftop area which was cool. The lobby was clean and there was a bar on the first floor by the lobby. The room could have been a little cleaner. Great location to the Falls, walking distance. I would definitely stay again just because the breakfast was great and there were so many options!
Ive made Hyatt Place my home away from home when traveling for about 15 years now.I was disappointed and embarrassed with my recent stay at the Niagara Falls location. Embarrassed because this was my wifes first stay at a Hyatt Place and I raved to her on the drive up how nice of a hotel it is. Check in was swift and the staff was pleasant. The disappointment began when we got to our room. It was a handicap accessible though I didnt request or need. There were several good sized stains in the carpet of unknown origin. No curtains in the windows, just electric Venetian blinds that we couldnt lower or raise. If I was okay with stains in the carpet and no curtains I would have stayed at one of those motels you can rent by the hour. I didnt bother addressing these concerns with the staff because I shouldnt have had to.Not such a big deal was the lack of housekeeping during our 3 day stay.Never have I seen such a pathetic Hyatt breakfast.Uncovered piles of scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon and flies. No thank you. One of the things that got me loyal to staying at Hyatt Places was the premium blend of coffee available in the morning. Not so at this location, the coffee was more like coffee flavored water and full of coffee grounds. I havent had coffee grounds in my coffee since I left the military 20 years ago.Parking was located about a block away and not free. I was charged over $35 for two nights. The stairwell of the parking garage was filthy, smelled of urine and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years.Ive always considered the HP 3+ stars but this location barely received 2 stars.I dont care if youre short staffed.Only allow the number of guests you have the staff to accommodate.Im a no excuses type of guy, I want what I pay for and in this instance I didnt get it.
Super close to Niagara falls state park with decent rooms and facilities. Parking next door at a parking lot that is charged separately. As for the hotel itself, a little dated (for instance carpet in our room was stained) but rooms are decently sized. Higher floor rooms should have a good view of the Canadian side of Niagara.
There were Little kids playing in the hallway till 2am . After being outside all day 11 degrees walking the falls came back to the room to no hot water. went to McDonalds brought my food back sat in the lobby to eat it was told I was not allowed to eat my food there then I was told that I signed a piece of paper that I did not sign I will not stay here again
Excellent location for the hotel to the casino, a short drive to the parking garage for the casino in those winds lol. excellent customer service on check in and check out. good breakfast buffet! just not a fan of corned beef hash, i tried it for the first time.. it was ok! lol. it was a local stay. i will definitely book with you again!
We had our wedding here and we loved it! The view was stunning and it was such a dream. We had a few issues with wedding crashers, minor set up issues, and some food inconsistencies, but our day was amazing! It didn’t come without issues, but no fault to the hotel. Sarah was amazing and communicated effectively.
Ashley who works overnights is a great asset to this company. She is very friendly and does her job well we had an early flight and we were leaving and there was no UberWhich is what our plan was to get back to the airport that morning but she hooked us up with the 24-hour taxi she is great nice place to stay. Short walk to the falls and hard Rock Cafe where the people and food were great as well.
I have stayed at several Hyatt Place hotels and the one located in Niagara Falls is by far the lowest quality. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great, but everything else was not to the standard of Hyatt Place. It has the feel of an understaffed hotel run by young adults who are just trying to keep things running until competent management shows up.Our room has insects throughout (not crawling over every inch, but enough to notice an insect problem). The carpet has stains. The sink and tub faucets are both loose. The exhaust fan doesnt work. The water pressure is so low that we couldnt get all the soap off our skin. The TV loses signal frequently. We are a family of 5 and had to ask for more towels and sheets for the pull out sofa bed. My wife was unhappy the entire time. Overall, I am unlikely to stay at Hyatt Place again.
Very expensive for service and room received. Made reservations more than a month prior to trip. Requested early check in — no. Requested high floor room arrived and was placed on floor 2. No views of Niagara Falls from ANY floor or window so don’t believe their advertising. Outdoor terrace was closed. When making reservations said I had a gift card they would not take it over the phone. Tried to apply it at checkout but they still would not take it. $381 for one night in a regular room. I could have stayed across the street at Comfort Inn for so much less. Only reason I stayed at Hyatt was to use $100 gift card which was never applied. Will never stay in a Hyatt property again. Poor service on site and poor customer service by phone.
We had mostly nice experience. Good location, one block from State Park. No surprises in the room. Everything worked, TV, fridge, thermostat. Soap was missing but that wasnt a big deal. We just asked for it and we had it delivered right away. The only surprise we had was the parking. It wasnt much but still not free, $15 a day. It was accross the street on the third level, to which we took the elevator. The garage elevator area wasnt clean. There was absolutely no one on duty at night or even during the day. So, that made us feel a little uneasy. But I guess thats the feeling you get in garages anyway, anywhere.
8/23/21 I called the front desk and requested sheets for the pull out sofa-bed before I return to the room for the evening. When I returned to my room, the staff brought the sheets to the room and placed them on the bed, never making the bed. This hotel allows pets,in fact, they allow pets near the complimentary breakfast area. I do not like this because the dog kept barking, because the owner left the dog alone near the bar area so she could make a plate during breakfast time. Not to mention I was upset about how unsanitary and unhealthy this is to be around pets and food at a hotel. My view out of the window wasnt what I wanted to view,I was facing a parking garage. My room was clean, bathroom were great, and the wifi works great too.
Terrible reception, requested my husband to be present when his ID was presented at check-in while he was in the car. Did the same thing and didn’t have a problem at another Hyatt that we just left. And he didn’t provide the daily free bottles of water!! Professional staff can’t be so forgetful. All amenities are much smaller than the near by Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst; smaller room, gym and especially pool! The parking lot is terrible too, full of urinate smell everywhere. Can’t believe it’s a category 3 property!! Breakfast was uncovered hot dishes of sausages, eggs, and potatoes fries and cold dishes of boiled eggs and fruit plate. When notified staff of flying flies, nothing was Done due to covers under the heat lights would cause burns of guests. However no reason for uncover cold dishes. So disappointed!! Will never come back to this Hyatt. Will go to Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst which is only 26 minutes away from it.
Very good and clean Hotel, breakfast was also very good, but I did not find any non veg or halal food in the breakfast the best thing about this hotel was, it was very near to the Niagara falls just few meter away, we went there in the month of March there were not many tourists around and the temperature was also very low but we enjoyed our time, they charge us approximately $100 for one day stay
Great location. Carpets and couch in the room had a few stains that stood out. Youre definitely paying for the location when staying here - so keep that in mind. Other than that, everyone was nice a friendly. Wouldnt recommend an extensive stay but, for a night, it was fine.
The hotel was easy to access and while parking was a bit pricey, it was convenient and was great for the following day at the falls. The room was comfortable and the staff was quick to provide bedding for the pullout couch that was missing upon arrival. The higher level view provided a view of the mist from the falls and not an actual view of the falls (have to go to Canada for that...).The room was quiet and had a fan to turn on for white noise to cancel any other noise that may have come from the hallway. Breakfast was decent and caution was taken for COVID that I greatly appreciated.Would recommend to others and would stay again.
This place was absolutely fantastic! The closest hotel to the Falls! The staff was great! Jarrod was so nice and helpful and cheery! We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was clean, the beds were clean. The breakfast was good! Just an overall outstanding vacation thanks to the Hyatt Place.
There was so many things wrong with this hotel. The people at the front desk were very rude and not welcoming. There was no washcloths in the bathrooms when we got there, the website and the people at the front desk lied about not having conjoining rooms, there was no linens for the couch bed. The fridge didn’t keep things cold. The pool was very dirty and full of hair. I wish there was an option for 0 stars because this place doesn’t even deserve one. The house keepers were very nice.
Stayed and the Hyatt Place for 3 nights and had the best stay ever!! The hotel is so beautiful and clean, the staff is OUTSTANDING and the location is PERFECT! Our room was cleaned good and ready when we arrived. The parking was discounted across the street in a covered parking garage which is great since it snows a lot this time of year. The breakfast wasnt anything out of this world but still great to have an actual breakfast and there was safety measures in place! The safety precautions throughout the hotel were great, face masks required, limited people in the elevator and such! The best part was the location, just a very short walk to the falls, many restaurants and other attractions. Lastly I can not thank Nicole and especially Gigi enough for all they did and their kindness during our stay! Last night my boyfriend and I went out for our 3 year anniversary and asked Gigi to take our picture infront of the beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby and she did. When we came back Gigi handed us 2 Hyatt coffee mugs, 2 bottled waters and a handwritten note saying happy 3 year anniversary courtesy of the Hyatt. This was the icing on the cake to a spectacular stay. We will DEFINITELY be returning!
Excellent customer service!! Ms. Mindy and Team Hyatt Place thank you, best birthday ever. The Front desk was very professional and very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast was hot with fresh fruits everyday. (Amazing) Booked two rooms 407/409 house keeping was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the Hyatt Place Niagara Falls location. Safety first environment! Thank you, RP
Hotel is well designed and easy to navigate. It was close to lots of tourist stuff.Staff is friendly and helpful. However, the staff seemed overwhelmed. We visited on a weekday, hoping for a less crowded experience. We miscalculated, as the hotel was packed. There were not enough staff members to keep up with the needs of the guests. The staff was trying its best though.Throughout the building, there were bits of garbage; wrappers, coffee cups, drink bottles, etc. We picked up a few things to help out, but had trouble finding garbage cans, except on the Cafe area. The pool area had no towels. We asked for some, and they were brought out but immediately snatched up and we had to ask for more.Again, the staff just couldnt keep up.Our room was adequate. It was fine for just one night, but not exactly what wed hoped for. The tub was cracked. A couple towels had brown stains (these were replaced when we mentioned it to the front desk). One pillow had reddish brown spots on it. I dont know for sure it was blood...but we left it on the floor. And the door didnt lock. It was a bit crooked in the frame, causing the bolt to sit too low to catch. We used the flip catch.Overall, the hotel was nice. But, perhaps not prepared for the amount of guests at the time.
The Hyatt Place was very clean and very friendly. They did the best they could with the . Their breakfast is not quite child friendly. They need to have more selections for children. Otherwise, breakfast is great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Niagara falls.shortage of staff
It was a really nice hotel! Lots of space. There was a nice chill area and then the beds on the side. Nice room overall. No microwave in the room which was pretty sad however 2 in the lobby. The lobby was really nice! I love how they had a free breakfast bar even through the pandemic!! Sad that there was no room service and no sheet changes. Overall it was a good experience.
Great place to stay for visiting Niagara Falls! Its just 7-8 minutes (walking) away from the observation deck. The hotel also provides parking ticket. The parking garage is right across the street. The breakfast is also nice. The only reason Im giving it four star because, the toilet did not have any exhaust fans and the hotel provides a very few towels.
Clean and spacious room. Bed and furniture pretty comfy. TV remote needed batteries replaced.I wish there was a microwave and a hair dryer, but overall, a very modern room. Downstairs lobby had a nice dining/bar/ breakfast area. Staff was very friendly. Laundry facility on 3rd floor for guest use.
First time staying at the Hyatt. At the time of check in it was a little mix up with the rooms with my boyfriend and I and another guest. The young lady at the service desk took care of the matter very professionally. She even accommodated us with a better room with a great view and also gave us a free parking pass for the night. Very nice hotel rooms very clean. Nice staff and hotel is around everything. Definitely well stay here again.
Arrived, went out site seeing, came back to room and got settled for the night. After turning on the bedside light, noticed dried blood on the stand. Called the front desk, they did offer another room for me to go to, I declined - if the room I was already in was not clean, the chance of another one being “dirty” was high, and I was already exposed in the room I was in. Someone was sent up to sanitize, I was thinking it would be the room, but no, just the stand top.Yes, I was concerned regarding the blood (and gross), but my main concern was/is we are still fighting COVID and the room was not sanitized. Not only did I speak to the front desk that night, but again in the morning. The staff was nice, apologized, but did not appear that it was a concern.I do hope someone reads this that will ensure that rooms are sanitized. Not just prevention of COVID, but many diseases/illnesses and cleanliness.Thank you very much!Michelle
10/10 would recommend and will 100% be back! Checking was easy, checking out was easy! Rooms were so nice and larges! Beds were great! Pool was nice! Was an amazing location!! Could walk to everything and we did! Was a super nice hotel and the dogs loved it to!! The staff was outstanding!! Stephanie at the bar was the absolute best! The staff made the stay worth while!!
One day in and disappointed already. Room is ok, carpet has a good amount of stains, should be better cleaned or replaced. Came down for breakfast and totally disappointed. Nothing like pictured on the website; please don’t blame Covid. No excuse for a Hyatt. Then we’re eating and a worker starts sweeping the floor with a broom around everyone eating, stirring up lots of dust. Asked for regular tea bags not herbal, nope. Glad I brought some from home just in case. Not Hyatt quality at all. And almost every guest is here with a cat and/or dog. Poor folks that have animal allergies. Let’s hope day 2 is better. Our worst experience of our trip. Will not be going back to the area at all.
We thought the location was great as it was walking distance to most everything we wanted to do. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly. The real problem we had with the room was the cleanliness. The shower had mold growing in it and it wasnt because someone forgot to wipe it up in one cleaning. Mold like this has been there for a while. Not to mention a cue tip by the shower in plane site from the last guests, seriously? What really amazes me is that with the Pandemic currently going on that the rooms would be cleaned a little better. I know some of you will ask this question, did you ask for a new room? Well since I drove 7 hrs to get there and my wife had already unpacked most of our stuff I felt that going through the process would cause a delay in the activities we wanted to enjoy since it was a 3 day trip. To that matter how many rooms would I have had to gone through for a clean shower? Nonetheless we were very disappointed in this Hyatt as I have stayed in Hyatt hotels before and never had a problem. I would not recommend staying at this particular Hyatt.
When my family and I went less than a month ago, the hotel was just reopening from covid. The staff was super helpful. The gym had some great equipment and an open area for working out. I was there two nights and both mornings breakfast was a delicious start to my morning. The hotel took further covid restrictions other than just a mask which I appreciated. The hotel is a short walking distance away from a lot of places including the falls which is super convenient so you dont really have to use your car that often.Totally recommend this hotel!
Such a disrespectful place and service. I was looking very hard for the points why we paid $100 more than other places nearby. We book over 75 to 90 hotel rooms a year and learned the difference between the chain hotels and brands. This Hyatt does not deserve the name Hyatt in its name. Training of the employees are needed (Cornell is around the corner) plus the oh you booked through Hotel.com, (oops) you get the loud handicap room because we have to pay 20% commission. yes we are sorry that we dont have shampoo for you, covit you know...and no free water (which cost us $1) either. Sorry I have to get the waters back.Cleaningness/quite room = not. Our room had some human hair on the pillow. The monster of air-conditioning closet does not allow a good night sleep (even with ear plugs).Toiletpaper was only 1/2 roll in the double holder = maintenance? Weird shower head with smaller water spread to enjoy for showering off soap (no shampoo around).Overall, at most a $90/night place, not $160.Environmentally responsible = not! What kind of plastic, Styrofoam garbage mountains (carbon footprint) is that breakfast producing?Quality of the food: Besides the fruit the rest are poorly made, i.e. the microwaved scrambled eggs from the 1 gallon egg bag were watery and tasteless. Yes ketchup was around, no Tabasco. The other potato and bacon mix tasted horrible, rather like tasteless potato like something with old spam pieces in between. Bad flavor, could not even get one bite down.Coffee ☕, yes I understand its not Starbucks, but McDonalds has better tasting coffee than this colored thin coffee-water.See pics whatelse was offered. Yogurt yes, but room temp.I truly try to find something good, yes, the design, the Covit compliant cloves, etc. The message in the elevator to wear a mask, however only 2 out of 4 had the sign.In my history of hundreds and hundreds of reviews this is probably my third 1* review. Dont get fooled by the brand name in that location. Plus add parking fees not disclosed during booking. So long!
Excellent location within walking distance to the state park and multiple food options! The room was spacious and clean. Friendly employees. Parking is not included in rate and was $15/day in May 2021 when we stayed. Do it yourself laundry option on site ($5 to wash and dry).
The best thing I can say about the Hyatt in Niagara Falls, NY is their complimentary breakfast. It was the best by far that I have had at a hotel. They did a good job with providing a nice selection of food to eat. As far as the hotel itself, the sofa bed in our room had a badly stained sheet on it that no one took the time to check and change. The AC system in our room started to sound like a lawn mower and even when pressing off, it never stopped. We notified Andrea of about the AC system and explained that it made our sleep unpleasant. We were told that a manager had to come and no manager ever showed up.The Wi-Fi was very unstable and only worked a third of the time of our stay. There were some staff members that were pleasant but, there were also ones that lacked good customer service skills and did not care about the guest that stayed at this establishment. If we ever go back to Niagara Falls, I will NOT be staying at this particular hotel. I would rather stay 30min away or more then to pay to go this experience again or worst.
Absolutely AMAZING experience with this hotel. Everything was super clean and the staff goes ABOVE & beyond for each & EVERY guest that walks through their door. Steph was a fantastic bar tender in the evenings, and it was wonderful to watch the teamwork between the night staff working together to make sure everything runs smoothly and guests are enjoying their stay! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel & the staff! 10/10 recommend staying here! We’ll definitely be back!
This hotel is awesome and the receptionists are very friendly (they allowed us to check in an hour earlier than scheduled). Piece of advise - if you paid for a high-floor room with a higher rate because you want to have the view of Niagara falls but end up having next-building-parking-garage-view, dont leave until you let them know thats NOT ok. Demand to get the difference in room rates.
Its a nice place, staff is great. but the area around it, is borderline abysmal. covid hit local business hard! the hotel is central to just about every local attraction.two things I found disappointing about the property. No smart TVs, not even casting capabilities.USB outlets but outdated, not quick charging.
OK - THE REVIEWS ON THIS EXCELLENT LOCATION WERE ON POINT!WONDERFUL LOCATION inside Niagara Falls State Park, walking distance from EVERYTHING! Because we are from the Detroit area, we had only visited the Ontario side, drove by the American Falls side, but never stayed. Because it is only a 15 min walk to the CAVE OF THE WINDS tour off Goat Island, we will spend many more visits to the Falls from THIS side.Hot breakfast included: DIY waffles, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage links & patties, pancakes on some days vs French toast on others, besides typical toast/bagels/cereal/coffee/juice. Ok, one day, they heated up cut up hard boiled eggs, so they were not scrambled eggs :)! I daily tipped the breakfast crew & encouraged those who dined with me to do the same, just to thank them for their service and WILLINGNESS TO WORK THESE DAYS!Room nicely appointed & spacious with mini-fridge; microwaves downstairs in lobby. My husband said the pool was warm, but small…at least it was open. No housekeeping post-COVID.Free parking for World of Hyatt Discoverist & above levels (post-pandemic 2021 only need half the # nights to hit that level). However, if you are not comfortable with NYC/Chicago/LA/Detroit parking lots/not big city familiar, you may feel unsafe late at night alone, but we were absolutely fine. I can assure you if you park here during daytime hours, it has a very normal feel to it with other families parking here due to it being so close to everything!Upon late arrival check-in after a long 6-hour drive, I asked what time the bar & rooftop lounge closed. SHOUT OUT TO RAVIE, who immediately called out to the adjacent bartender who mentioned it was last call @ 1030 pm. Ravie kindly allowed me to hand her my driver’s license & CC to step over to the bar to give the bartender my order, while she checked me in, gave me my room #, then the bartender added my drink order to my room tab :). We dropped off our luggage in our room, then head to the rooftop lounge with our cold beverages for a NICE evening view of the Canadian Skyline. THANK YOU, RAVIE, FOR YOUR QUICK THINKING :).SCOOTERS are the WAY to GO to SEE SO MUCH OF THE PARK & the SURROUNDING AREAS, like the Niagara Falls GORGE! 20% off rental with your Hyatt Hotel card, with the stand around the corner from the front desk. With discount, $17pp for one hour scooter rental or $41 FOR 24 HOURS; wish I had known that sooner than 645 PM with their closing at 8 PM the night before we were leaving, or I would have gone for the full-day rental.THAT CAVE of THE WINDS tour is OUTSTANDING, even better than the Journey Under the Falls on the Canadian side. Consider it the best water (walk, not ride) experience you have ever had, IF you are adventurous & choose the staircase where you can FEEL a PORTION of the falls on your back! 90d temps when we went, so best with hot temps. If you do not want to get wet, still amazing.
The location is good, free breakfast was ok standard fair better than paying but there was no place to eat breakfast close , food Mediocre. Due to covid no room cleaning u have ask for everything including towels and toilet paper and remove your own trash. Bar food only till 9 pm. Carpets dirty. Everything was dusty in rooms and found cereal around sofa. Not vacuumed. There are other hotels just ad close. Fir what is payed rooms are sub standard. Save your money use it somewhere else. Staff very friendly that us the best thing they have!
It was ok....the room had lots of space and nice beds, but the pullout couch bed was very bad. It had tears and was very low quality. The bathroom was ok too, theyre was no extra toliet paper though so we had to ask for more. Our safe needed new batteries and the hair dyer was missing. It overall was decent. The pool felt unclean, it had hair everywhere and I couldnt see my feet when I stood in it. The breakfast was decent, but not great, but its still nice to have a free breakfast offered. Also, the service was very nice and considerate!
Really nice hotel. Staff was so friendly & courteous! We had the Suite and everything was lovely and clean. We asked for addition towels and blanket throughout our stay and they were very prompt. Hotel was within walking distance of the Falls so that was definitely a plus! We didn’t try the hotel restaurant so can’t comment on that. Parking on the street wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
Hotel location was fantastic but room cleanliness was an issue. Dirty sheets, pillow cases and pillows. Got the sheets and pillow cases sorted, but not the pillows. They advised there were no more anywhere in the hotel. Forced to sleep without pillows. Also had to request more towels as they did not provide enough for our party
Friendly and good vibe from entrance to our checkout. Staff was very accommodating to local directions, help with the TV remote and even a pair of wine glasses for our room! It had the feel of a family owned motel not a corporate coldness. We also enjoyed a walkable visit to Donatello’s for a great pizza!
Oh my gosh! I love this place. I want to go back like tomorrow that’s how much I enjoyed staying here. Great views on Canada also of the falls seen rain bows out my window when I woke up I mean that topped the cake. My experience of this place is legendary! many restaurants right around the corner as well as stores. Very very nice.
No peephole covers. Water was undrinkable, had horrible taste and texture, was overly softened and gave my wife a migraine. Staff refused to wear masks and general manager was exceptionally rude, they promised us late checkout (we didn’t even check in until 10, and then with a migraine from the water, my wife suffering from the poor water at this hotel they loudly pounded on the door and then the general manager rang us to rescind our previous guaranteed late checkout. A terrible place to stay. Nick the general manager is not a good representative of Hyatt values or brand commitments.
I asked twice how much the total for one night would be and your employee told me its gonna be 266. I asked if it is pet friendly and he said yes without inform me about cleaning fee. Nobody told me about the cleaning fee. Long story short instead paying 199 on any online site I paid 350 for one night. Zero transparency desserve one star review.
Our windows were busted out on the first night! The staff was super friendly, clean hotel, but super shtty parking across the street for guests in a dark garage. We were not happy about an insurance claim whatsoever. The view from the 5th floor is incredible if your on the side where the Falls are. Breakfast buffet is nice, walking distance to the falls. Despite the window, I still give 4 stars.
Two stars just for the service at the desk being spot on when you could tell they were slammed. Would give 0 stars for everything else. The room was dirty, like large green snot on a pillow and hair in the bed dirty. We only had conditioner and a bar of soap and one wash rag for 4 people. The bathroom was also dirty, which for times of COVID was concerning. Since we. We’re just in for the night we just stripped the beds and seat with it. Would not be going back!
Excellent service and support. Staff are friendly, easy-going, and helpful - everything I could ask for. Even during the pandemic they’ve got individually wrapped waffles and apples, bagels, etc all in plastic wrap, heated individual trays of eggs, sausage, and potatoes covered with plastic, and gloves and masks provided as you enter the kitchenette to get your breakfast. It’s a weird time, but if you have to travel, book here with confidence
The physical property of this hotel was exactly what you would expect from this brand of hotels, beautiful furniture, modern decor, and so on. However, I am very sorry to report that our room was not clean. 😭 It was obvious the carpets had not been vacuumed and there was noticable dirty walls, windows and doors in the bathroom. Not what you would expect from a Hyatt Place. Maybe theyre short-handed like all other employers in the US. 🤔On a positive note, the location of this property is perfect for anyone visiting Niagra Falls. Parking was included with your room rate and all attractions were within walking distance. 👍
Nick checked me in and was absolutely wonderful. Even though I requested an early checkin our room was not ready, however we enjoyed the aquarium down the road so it was not a big deal. The room was clean and temperature was just right. We got a view of the canadian skyline which was really nice at night. Rooms are clean, spacious, and pretty sound proof as we had neighbors and didnt hear a peep. The lady at night I forgot her name was super nice and tending to the front desk and bar, she had so many people asking her for things so I feel she needs kudos she was so sweet to deal with. The hotel is in walking distance to everything so it was perfect. Thank you!
Given the circumstances with COVID, the breakfast was actually nice. I liked that they provided warm and fresh options like eggs and waffles, which were individually packaged. Most hotels are not doing that right now. The room was comfy and had a fantastic view. The wifi was good, and supported a work zoom meeting without issues. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with our questions about local businesses open during the off season/COVID-19. The parking garage seemed sort of sketchy but it was free and our car and our things were fine overnight. We were able to walk to the falls in just a couple of minutes - the location was excellent!
Loved everything about the place during my stay. The room was sparkling clean and had whatever was expected. The parking lot is a bit out of the way which is not very convenient but kind of manageable. The Niagara Falls is very near and we could see the fireworks from the windows. The helpful staff also made it great to stay here.
I am not going to get into a long story. The hotel is a nice location and the hotel itself is ok, just ok. If you go here just make sure you get documents stating how much your stay will be from the hotel itself prior to checking in and defiantly if you go through a booking agency. This place will wash its hands of any price discrepancy and tell you to go through your booking place and the booking place tells you to go to the hotel. Guess Ill just pay the extra amount like a good boy and leave this bad review to feel like it will open some peoples eyes and they wont have to have the same experience.
We stayed at this hotel 1 night for my daughter 12th birthday. Every thing was Horrible. My room was not clean at all. I had to change my own sheets on the pull out bed. The bathroom had hair everywhere including the tub. The district manager was nasty when i told her my concerns. I was very unhappy at this hotel.
My experience At this hotel was absolutely amazing! I didnt know it was as new as it was until I overheard the staff at the desk talking to another guest about it. I would definitely make this my number one choice when I come back to visit by the end of the year. There were absolutely no complaints about my room. The staff was very friendly, and welcoming. Any issue I had such as wanting extra towels, or questions about the area they were on top of it! The price of the breakfast, is definitely worth it when you have more than two or three people, it was better than a continental breakfast, the monkey bread was amazing (makes you wanna slap yo mama) lbvs! The only tiny issue I had, is the way the staff approaches you asking you what room number youre in to make sure you are charged for the breakfast, maybe they need a better approach, as far as walking up and saying y and your room number again is. My friend and I sat at the bar and ordered food the day before we left. The veggie burger is absolutely delicious, my son enjoyed his burger, and wings. Again I had no issues, or complaints, and will definitely recommend this hotel if someone asked where should I stay at when visiting Niagara Falls.
The hotel was in a great location from the falls. Upon arrival we were given a room with guests already occupying it. We ended up getting a room that was different then the room we reserved. Entering the room there was hair on the floor, stains on the carpets and not up to cleaning standards especially during a pandemic. The bathroom was also dirty and not up to standards. Would not stay there again.
Dirty. Typically Hyatts are spotless. Bathrooms, Dirty, common areas, dirty, windows, dirty, cobwebs.... man. It was hard to find a clean bathroom when the family was getting ready in room bathroom every morning. Some messes were there multiple days. Checked out 2 days early. GROSS!
Positive: Safety, bc it¿s surrounded by abandoned boarded homes. Seedy area, I was scared and I¿m from the Bronx. Negative: No extra pillows blankets nor towels were available for the amount of ppl staying. You can¿t share towels for sanitary reasons nor blanket nor pillows due to the environment we are in. Very COVID lax.
The hotel isnt bad but we as a family requested to be on the same floor and they couldnt even accommodate that small request. Everything around it is closed until around 3 pm that we want to see. Not a good time at all to start. Will see what the rest of the weekend brings. Chinese food for dinner and it was ok. We are headed to the arcade afterwards so will keep you posted. The arcade had very few games that worked. I swear the American side doesnt take care of anything around the falls. Canadian side the next time for us.
Stinkiest hotel I have ever checked in! First we were given a room smelled cigarette smoke, place supposed to be non smoking hotel. Then we asked to be moved, they got us a room that smelled like rotten sweat! Room furnitures were dusty, no vent in the bathroom, no on site parking. All these for a five star hotel bill, look somewhere else. This place aint worth it. Ill give it a zero star if I can.
This was a beautiful hotel. We had 10 in our group and we were accommodated with no problems at all. The rooftop terrace was really cool. The rooms were clean and well stocked with coffee. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! The breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon French toast and the shoulder bacon. The pool was nice as well... The kids loved it. The staff was very helpful and was able to answer any questions we had.
Clean hotel, friendly staff. The neighborhood was sketchy. There is no parking. They offer unlimited parking in a city owned garage. There is a $10 charge for the parking added to your bill. There are no elevators in the garage. We parked on the 2nd floor and had to walk 45 steps up in a broken down stairwell. Only 2 handicap spaces near hotel, so beware of this. I mentioned this to staff member at checkout. I was told not thier fault that there is no parking.
We stayed for one night. Location was great, just 3 min walking distance to waterfalls as described on the website. We parked in the parking garage for $10/ night using the hotels voucher. The roof tarrace has a good view , but not to my expectation of seeing the falls. Our room was on the higher floor and also the same view of the tallest buildings across Canada. We had a small fridge and no microwave. The shower had a mold by the door like someone alse mentioned in their reviews. Bed was comfortable. The pool was open and staff responded quickly to request for additional towels. Breakfast was good, self served and great variety during Covid-19.
Both the amenities & staff were top notch! My husband and I came to NF to be married and the staff must have communicated that information about our reservation as the all congratulated us when they saw us coming or leaving! The hotel was clean, fresh and well maintained! The breakfast was always fresh and the bar was great! Would definitely recommend/stay again ourselves!
I wish I could give at least a 4 star, but I can’t. When we arrived at Hyatt place, we had no bath towels, were also in the middle of a pandemic and there was no hand soap in the hotel room. On the bed, there was a sheet and a flimsy blanket, which barely kept us comfortable. Additionally, there is no free parking, while it is discounted to $10 a day, I have never had to pay for parking. The staff is great and there’s a lot to do. I would probably consider other options next time. Didn’t have a great stay, but it also wasn’t bad.
My family and I spent 6 days in this hotel and we felt so welcomed as soon as we came into the lobby. It is located in an extremely convenient area, a 5 minute walk from the Niagara Falls State Park and all the fun activities. It is a very modern style hotel with great service, and I especially recommend Nick at the front desk of the lobby. He is very helpful and understanding of your needs and is very friendly with all the guests in the hotel.
These folks were absolutely amazing!! The rooms were spotless, and they even offered to hook us up with a late checkout at NO CHARGE because we arrived so late in the night. The bed was pretty comfortable compared to most. The bathrooms were very clean and stocked. The view is pretty okay.
Nice, clean, modern hotelThe only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is due to breakfast. The area where the food was located was small and crowded. The toasters did not work well, and it took staff awhile to replenish food. There was also a lack of acceptable seating to eat the meal. There has to be a better way to organize it.Other than the breakfast issues, we had a wonderful stay!
Never been more disappointed and dissatisfied with a hotel stay. Their listings are not truthful. There are stains everywhere. The cleaning staff is probably underpaid and understaffed. Disgusting, if there is one hotel business that goes out of business during the pandemic, I hope its this one.
By far, one of the best hotels I have ever been. All staff were very professional. Even I spoke with a broken English and my friends were speaking Spanish, we didnt feel targeted or anything. We will definitely stay there if there is any other opportunity. The only complaint I had (and I dont really care) is that the coffee maker was really dirty. It seems that no one used for months and they didnt look at it.This is the best place you can stay there. The picture is the view I had. I should say that the lady at front desk was very helpful when I asked her if we could arrive 2 hours before out check in.
We are frequent guests at Hyatt Place Hotels within the US. We typically have an amazing experience, but this one fell a little short. We booked 2 rooms, for 2 nights, guaranteed on the high level overlooking the Falls, near each other. When we arrived, we were assigned to the 2nd floor, several rooms apart, with no view. They did accommodate us with a price adjustment which was much appreciated! We traveled in June, right after Coronavirus quarantine had been lifted and they were not fully prepared for guests. The first day for breakfast they provided yogurt and individually wrapped muffins...drinks were gone after an hour. The 2nd day my husband went down to check and was told everything was already gone!No room service, and they had trouble keeping up with towel service. My kids used hand towels to dry off!The staff was very kind and apologetic. The hotel management needs to step it up.The location of the hotel is very close to the falls, easy walking distance and found great places to eat!
I am a Hyatt member & felt comfortable here. Im a medical professional from MA that was in the NY area at the end of July 2020. Masks are required everywhere in the hotel except your room. Only 4 people on the elevator at a time. The rooms are held in quarantine for 48 hours after each guest leaves, then housekeeping enters to clean after the 2 days have passed. There are minimal housekeeping services available at this time to keep employees safe. Check in is 3pm & check out is 12pm. The bar & restaurant are open. Breakfast includes prepackaged cereal, water, juice, milk, hard boiled eggs, bananas & prepared, individually wrapped homemade English muffin/egg/cheese, apples and more! The area is very quiet right now, which is what I enjoy.
Perfect location for visiting the falls and other nearby state parks. Room was clean. Staff were helpful and followed the COVID policies in place.Parking is discounted across the street in the citys Rainbow garage. Breakfast is prepackaged but with a decent variety to choose from.
Nice modern rooms. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was nice and the free breakfast was nice. We had stayed at the Doubletree in NYC a few days before coming here. There, the staff were more attentive and professional. The Hyatt is more relax. One thing I didnt like was the parking was across a the big street, in a parking garage. The garage was a bit dirty, the elevators stunk, and the hotel still charged us $25 a day for parking.
Great place to stay & wonderful customer service! Room was very clean, Spacious shower, spacious bathroom with a sliding door which I though was very nice, Indoor Swimming pool very clean, and the towels surprisingly soft (most hotels have small cheap towels). The only Bad thing about this hotel is the parking garage. It’s very dirty & disgusting! (The hotel does pay for the parking) On a good note it looks like they are trying to make it nicer maybe renovating? Other than that I loved the hotel & it was a beautiful view!
We are a family of 5. It is hard for us to find nice hotels that are not hard on the wallet.Hyatt has exceeded our expectations. The staff is attentive. Working non stop. Rooms are roomy, clean AND recently renovated so the carpets look and feel great! The breakfast menu is restaurant worthy. Delicious. And free. The amenities (pool and gym) are awesome too. New treadmills. Good selection of weights. Free earphones! Clean. The pool was not heated during our stay, but my kids had a great time .Thank you Hyatt for making our vacation so comfy and stress free💖💖
From booking our reservation to checking out, everyone at this Hyatt Place was very courteous, friendly and professional! The room was very comfortable and spacious. I love the Hyatt beds and pillows! We loved the breakfast buffet.... Plenty of food with nice variety. We were in walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Did I mention the great staff? We will definitely be back! Thank you for your excellent standards, Hyatt! ❤
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Really the highlight of my vacation. If youre thinking of coming to see The Falls, stay here but be prepared to be underwhelmed as the city is in decay. Nearly all restaurants are closed or at capacity by 5 pm. And social distancing is non existent at the viewing points. No one has common sense or cares to form a queue. Its like being on the NJ turnpike. Great hotel, unfortunate location.
We stayed in the US side of Niagara Falls, and this hotel was just outstanding!! The staff, the service, the amenities. It was all top of the line. The front desk staff Nick, Shawntelle and Michael were all real professional and helpful during our stay. The supervisor Nicole was also extra helpful when we needed an extra hour before checking out to take care of our 2 year old son. Even the manager Jon took time out to talk to us about our stay and recommended a few good activities and places to go visit nearby in the Buffalo area. And their breakfast for the Hyatt members was a good variety. All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations and we look forward to coming back!!
Room was excellent, comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. The location was very convenient, like a 5 minute walk away from the Falls and associated attractions. It was really easy to get a Lyft over to the aquarium. Overall, a positive experience. The front desk was very helpful, and gave us complimentary tooth paste, which we forgot to pack.
Customer service at the Hyatt in Niagara Falls, NY, is amongst the very best we have ever seen. It was also apparent that Hyatt truly values their World of Hyatt members. My husband and I are Hyatt Explorist members, we stayed here for a brief mini-vacation and we were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. EVERY single member of the Hyatt staff went above and beyond to provide us with anything and everything we could possibly need or want. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable! Our room was very attractive, extremely clean, and had all of the amenities that we needed. The morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic, far above the typical hotel breakfast most hotels offer. This hotel was also very pet friendly to guests who had brought their dog, which, being animal lovers, my husband and I appreciated seeing. We will likely bring our pets with us on our next visit. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Niagara Falls area.
PRO: Staff members were polite, it seems that they were overwhelmed and I can sympathize with that, and I am thankful that they were still kind and helpful. And it was only a few minute walk to the falls from the hotel 👍🏻CON: We were supposed to stay for 3 days, we slept there 1 night and then left the next day to go elsewhere. Mattress was covered in a variety of hair, shower was dirty, shower water was only warm, ketchup (I hope) was splattered on the wall. Carpet stains. Cleaning staff definitely needs to get it together, especially during this pandemic. Large gap under the room door made every noise in the hallway audible, and we could hear people talking at normal conversation level in rooms next to us through the wall in the bathroom. Had to pay separate for parking across the street in a shady looking garage. Did not feel safe in the garage or walking to/from the hotel to the garage. ☹
Let me begin by saying that you dont go to Niagara Falls for the hotel room. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is amazing, and the location is perfect. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but it wasnt disgusting. The bed was comfortable. The view was of the top of another building, but that wasnt horrible, either. The walls are paper thin. You will hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing, and everyone in the hallway. The breakfast was pretty bad, but it was free. They did have a lot of choices, but it could have been prepared better. The parking garage smells like urine and I-dont-know-what-else. But they give you a discount if youre staying at the hotel, so thats nice. Take the stairs because the parking garage elevator is downright scary. All in all, it was worth the money, and it did just fine for a place to sleep while we were on vacation.
Glad to have stayed at a hotel that was super close to the falls. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the park. Since they offer free parking, then we didnt have to worry about that at all. Place was clean enough. Plus, the breakfast was above average. Hard to find a place to sit though because it gets crowded.
Great place to stay, very close to the Niagara Falls, you can walk from the hotel to the falls. Excellent service, I get stung by a bee and they give me analgesics to treat it at not cost. Very clean rooms. The breakfast is not the best but they explained that is because the COVID thing.
Location is GREAT!! Close to everything. We didnt have to drive for 3 days. Staff was super friendly. Room was modern, clean and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Daily breakfast buffet was excellent - definitely a perk! Indoor pool is small, but clean; exercise room too. Housekeeping did not clean our room, but they may have misunderstood us. No parking on premises, that is the only downside. But theres a garage directly across the street with reduced rates for guests. Wed definitely stay here again!
We stayed here a few days this past week. Was very surprised upon check in that we were not questioned about our health or given a temperature check. The other hotels and restaurants and stores were very on top of Covid protocols. Room was nice, but there were drink rings on the tables which made it obvious that it wasnt cleaned very well. I brought my own sanitizing wipes and I wiped the rings up and they came right up, so this was laziness. Especially during covid, it was disheartening to know that my room wasnt as clean and sanitized as it should have been. I cleaned the entire room and bathroom before settling in to make sure my kids and I had a clean room.We were greeted with a hand-written note and candy bars and a coffee mug because when the reservation was made we stated that the kids had never been to NY and were very excited to stay at the Falls. The bed was very comfy, the view overlooked Canada which was beautiful. We got to see fireworks from our window that the Canadian side was putting on display and that was cool. The TV is a nice size and the room also comes with a fridge. The bathroom has a hair dryer. The breakfast in the morning has something for everyone.. scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, milk, juices, english muffins, bagels with butter and cream cheese, danish, muffins, french toast, sausage, fresh fruit.. definitely a better spread than other hotels Ive been to. The staff in the morning taking care of the front desk and kitchen area are friendly and hospitable and a pleasure to be around. All in all, it was a good stay, but I couldnt give more stars based on the cleanliness of the room and the covid protocols.
We thought rooms would be clean and sanitized but there was dust everywhere. They didn’t even keep the toilet paper.very bad Maintanance.Good thing about this hotel is the location ,it’s just 5 minutes away from the maid of mist and break fast.If you ask about cleanliness it is really bad.
People at the front desk were great, nice and helpful. The room seemed like it wasn’t cleaned, hair in the bathroom and someone left dirty laundry in the drawers. The parking garage stairway and elevator smell like human waste and gets much stronger in the lower floors.
Today me and my fiance joined together in marriage at this beautiful place. Staff second to none Sara M from the sales department was awesome. Her hosting and supervision skills, Second To None. I would highly recommend Hyatt Place Niagara Falls for event wish I could give you 10 Stars
There are always ups and downs with new anything. I think they are doing a great job getting their feet wet in this town. I’ve noticed the majority of travelers in this town are extremely needy and demanding so I think the staff are keeping up well and always had a pleasant attitude. Can’t beat the location of the hotel. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do on our trip. We accepted an unfinished room and were given a sizable discount for it so that was also very nice. The pool is clean and the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast varied each day and provided a good amount of options. Honestly the worst part about this place is the coffee.
Friendly reception, spacious and extremely clean room, nice view towards the falls and Canada from our room but probably not from all of them. Decent breakfast but nothing amazing. Semi shady $10 or so garage across the street with unlimited exit and entry for the day. All in all a very pleasant experience. Likely not to visit the falls again but if we do, Ill stay here again for sure!
The hotel was great, the room is a standard Hyatt Place room with the staycast (basically a Google Chromecast). Mike was awesome, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were taken care of and the other staff were friendly as well. Only four stars because the city parking garage you have to park in is on my top 10 most disgusting places Ive visited.
Not only do they lead you on about the breakfast selection, they dont even have hot water to supply their guest with. My husband and I stayed there for anniversary and had to pay $8 for orange juice and water. They didnt even have orange juice free for breakfast . Then they ran out of hot water, when I went to the front desk to let them know about the issue, the only thing that they offered me was an excuse, the boiler was broke. I said no doubt, what are you gonna do about it? they said, we can offer you an Im sorry and thats it. Dont stay at this hotel it is horrible and for it to be at Hyatt hotel there is nothing hy about this it! I am very disappointed!

2022-06-12Fantastic place. Great location. Pool. Very good breakfast. Like 1 bock front he falls. Nice deck on the roof with great view. Does not have a great restaurant in the hotel but many options around. Hard Rock 1 block way. Papa John 1 block away. Casino 3 blocks away.

2022-06-01Great location to the falls. You can actually see the mist from the falls from the room. They had fireworks every night right in front of our window which was beautiful. The room service isnt available during your stay. So if you spend more then 2 nights you gotta change your own sheets. They also take awhile to take payment out for the stay, not sure why. I do recommend to stay and they also have a really Nice roof top with chairs and a couch.

2022-01-23Great location and beautiful view from the room. Check-in was fast and easy. The guy checking us in was welcoming. The bartender was freaking awesome. Overall the hotel was clean but the rooms need some help. Like the TV remote, alarm clock and the bathroom exhaust fan. We will differently be back.

2022-01-02Super convenient location if youre visiting the falls. Parking is across the street, which was only 5 bucks at the time per night. Its about a 10 minute walk to the falls, and about 20 minutes to the Goat Island side. Rooms apparently were big enough to have 5 people, however we opted to get 2 separate rooms for convenience sake. King bed was nice to have, as was the sofa bed. Staff were attentive and helpful as per usual for Hyatt properties. Hyatt Places are known to have some of the best complimentary breakfasts out there, and this was no exception. There were eggs, sausage, and french toast freshly made, with all the other bells and whistles that come with it including fruits, cereal, breads, bagels, water, and coffee. Cant ask for more!

2022-04-28Staff was super friendly and the hotel was in a great location. It was minutes from the park. Room was a good size and comfortable, and their free breakfast had a nice selection also. Only negative was the sink in our room didnt hardly drain and the covers on the bed were a flat sheet and a super thin hospital like blanket.

2022-04-21This is our second time going. Both times we stayed here. The staff is friendly and always making us feel welcome. A big shout out to Nick. Our first visit he helped so much and it is so nice to go back two years later and see him still there. I cant wait to go back next year. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and friendly faces of all the staff.

2022-06-27I picked this hotel mainly for the location, and I dont think I could have picked better. Its so close to the falls and an easy walk to just about anything you want to do nearby. Just a brief 10-15 minute walk and you can be at the falls. We mostly enjoyed our stay. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly, even going to find bandages when my son came in with a bloody knee from a fall in the park. It wasnt all perfect though... There were 4 (that Im aware of) false fire alarms during our stay, the first of which resulted in my wife twisting her ankle on the step immediately out the rear door which hindered our pace throughout the rest of the day. A minor complaint, but one Im sure they can remedy was the coffee... The coffee from the urn was the worst tasting coffee Id ever had, and I saw other guests make faces when they tried it too. Breakfast was nothing to rave about, but there was something for everyone in our group of 5. Our room safe appeared to be locked previously so we were unable to use it as well. Overall though, Im so glad we chose this hotel because it was in the heart of everything we wanted to do. If you dont mind walking to the many destinations within a 30 minute walk, this is the place to stay.

2022-05-28This was a great place if you’ve got little kids! For sure. Parking is right next door and only $5 per day through the hotel. It’s walking distance to everything in the park. Plus it’s right next to the Rainbow bridge to Canada so you can pop over quickly. The 6th floor area is what makes this hotel great. It’s got an outdoor patio that you can watch the fireworks from. The area upstairs is great for a quiet place to let kids run around. My daughter woke up at 6:30am everyday and we went up stairs and let her move around until my wife and son got up. The front desk staff was great too. Gigi was very helpful

2022-04-08My family and I stayed here for two nights during a vacation recently. We were in 5 different hotels in 7 nights and this one was our favorite. Staff was super friendly, parking was complimentary after validation and was across the street. The lobby area was nice and had a small bar to enjoy a drink while relaxing. The room was nice - had a big couch with a sofa sleeper and a desk. The chair for the desk wasnt very comfortable for me. The bathroom was good sized and had one of the larger showers Ive ever had in a standard hotel room. The shower doors were glass sliding doors and the floor in the shower was tile so I had no worries about slipping in there. And the door to get into the bathroom was a sliding door that slowed down as you shut it (so no slamming the door, which I like). Beds were a little hard for me but perfectly firm for my wife (just like at home, lol). I see many people have reviewed that they liked the breakfast here. Our experience was different, at least for the hot foods. They had prepared portions of eggs and pancakes one morning and eggs and French toast the other morning and the eggs were soggy and barely cooked and the French toast was pretty dry. The pancakes were cold when we got them and heating them up just didnt help them taste better. Fruit was canned fruit one morning and a fresh bowl of mixed fruit the next morning. The bread for toast was excellent. They also had hard boiled eggs, cereal boxes (individual) and oatmeal, which my son likes, and Im sure Im missing something but thats what I can remember. Plenty of coffee and it was descent. So overall it was just alright. I was most disappointed with the eggs. Hopefully they can improve on that. My family and I would definitely stay here again. Like I said, we stayed in 5 hotels in 7 nights on our week long trip and this hotel was our favorite. And by the way you cant beat the location! Two minute walk and youre at the park and a ten minute walk to get to the falls!
