We attended a birthday party which was very nice. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The only problem I had was that that too many parties were being held at the same time, which led to crowding. At the time, masks were still being required and most were not masked. If you want to avoid crowds, I suggest going when they first open or later in the afternoon. Now that masks are not mandated, know you will have a great time! Family friendly place! We will be back!

This is my favorite place in the whole world! We drive an hour north on 9a from Peekskill several times a week in order to frequent this Roller Magic. The staff is amazing and helpful. The wood floors are built from maple wood and were obviously refinished. They have arts and crafts on Friday afternoons now. Grandparents like to go on Sunday’s when Senior citizen’s are free. They recently started doing some late night adult night skate events on Saturday’s where they have all the the glow in the dark lights on and they provide glow paint and a face/body painter and even soda and pizza! I hope they do more late nights because it’s hard to find something to do that isn’t drinking at a bar. I continue to lose weight ever since I started skating!! We didn’t discover Roller Magic until after they re-opened during the pandemic and we are so glad we did!! We are also glad we don’t have to wear masks there any more and they were never pushy about masks when they were required which we always appreciated. The owner(s) seem to be working to make the place better as every-time we go we notice some aesthetic improvement or a new promotion or event they are doing. I hope they offer a rollerskating camp this summer because we will definitely sign up!!

I asked my wife to marry me here!! The staff did an unbelievable job helping me plan and execute the surprise proposal! Truly was a magical experience!!

The first thing we noticed after our 1 hour and 20 minute drive is a small sign taped to the door saying air conditioner temporarily broken. Mind you, it is advertised on their website to have air conditioning. I dont want to say its false advertising but it really is. The fans were pointed towards the entrance and it felt fine at first so we decided to give it a try. This was our first time skating here and really wanted to enjoy. We soon realized less than a half hour in it was way too hot. My boyfriend and I were dripping sweat even when not skating around. As it turns out, they only have 1 fan pointed towards the door and they just move it around making it deceptively cool at the entrance.First, we wanted to just get some water and thought maybe we can try to enjoy but when they said it costs $2 and no ice we cut it there.We grabbed our stuff and went to the front to be quickly told there are no refunds and it was outside of their hands. I have nothing against the employees; they were actually very nice. But the management should be ashamed. Apparently we, the customers, have to suffer full price. They should not be allowing anyone in if they wont let them get a refund if they are nearly having heat stroke. I would have been satisfied with even a partial refund since we did stay around a half hour.EDIT: After a week (closed due to 4th of July), we decided to give them a call back to discuss our day there and we happened to talk to Alyssa. I must say, she is super nice and totally understood everything! We were offered a full refund. If we are ever able to come back, I am sure we would enjoy it much more! I do want to keep my original review since the employees there at that time were unable to solve the issue right away; having us to call back to inquire about it. +2 stars.
