Great people and food wasnt bad at all
OMG!!! Honestly, it should be made illegal for the pizza to be this good. My wife and I are from Georgia and have had some really good pizza. But this pizza, spectacular. Will definitely be back next time in town.
Order through door dash ...And it was the best Meat lovers pizza we ever had. And we have been living in Albany for 3yrs.. Our fried Dough was a lil raw.. But other than that .. It was awesome. And our order came quickly ..
1st time customers. The food was terrible. Calzone was tasteless. Doughy. The pizza was so bland and mostly just cheese hardly any sauce and was kind of slimy. The cannolis we ordered we didnt even try because Im Italian and if your pizza and calzone are terrible theres no way Im trying your cannoli. They forgot our soda. We called the delivery guy. No answer. Called the store for almost two hours the line was busy. Then finally got through and no one answered. I called today and spoke with someone, he apologized and said theyve been in business for twenty years so they dont understand. He asked what they could do for me. I said ya know if you want to refund me or give me a gift card to try again that would be great, if not thats okay. He said, okay take care and we hung up. That was it.
RUDE AND TERRIBLE. I left my phone number to be reached at and they emailed me instead of calling to tell me the driver is outside with my food and instead of ringing my doorbell they decided to bring my order back and wouldn’t come back when i called. They Canceled my order instead of coming back with my phone and also charge my card already and making me wait days for a refund. I called owner told me it’s not his problem. And as a fast food worker, their service sucks! Don’t eat from them.
Great New York style thin crust pizza. Plus lots of other Italian favorites. Never been dissatisfied. The people who own the place have worked extremely hard to make this place a success.

I used to love their chicken marsala pizza this was the only place I could find it but after ordering for delivery getting 2 thin crusty pieces of pizza with barely any topping i called for it to be fixed. They happily offered to bring my 2 replacement slices but they were no better seeing how they were extremely thin and the topping was barely cooked.. idk if this place is under new management or what but i need the chicken marsala pizza to be back on point..
Just order pizza is greasy I have to dab it with paper towels. I eat pizza probably 3 to 4 times a week and this is the worst pizza I ever had wish I could post a picture of it. Crust so thin and greasy it cant hold cheese. Disappointed. Havent even tried wings yet.
We didnt enjoy the food at all. We ordered 2 subs and both were made wrong. I didnt ask for tomatoes nor lettuce and the bread was way too hard, not to mention when i arrived to pick up my order, i was informed that they had run out of american cheese during lunch hours. The pizza may be the safest choice
I have been ordering from them for a while and lately the service has gotten worse. Today I ordered 20 mild wings extra crispy and when I received them they were very dry so I called and asked why was the wings so dry and I was told if I wanted Extra sauce I needed to ask for extra sauce for a dollar. I could not believe what I was hearing due to that fact the wings had no sauce on them at all just oil. Well I will spend my money elsewhere and so will my co workers.
Three hours later, never got my food despite talking to them three times and then they closed down for the night without delivery. Ordered one pizza and wings. Told it would be 40 minutes. An hour and a half later I call and they ask my address and say yep just left will be there in ten. 45 minutes later I call again and they said they never made it but would rush it to me, would have in 30 minutes. Gave them an hour and called back and no answer, they were CLOSED. How unacceptable.
I went there yesterday ( Saturday ) and ordered the Breaded Chicken on garden salad and the chicken Parmesan with penne pasta and a Cannoli. It was all very good and my entire order was correct and the food was ready on time and the guy who handed me the food was very nice. Would def go back and recommend this place. Yumm I also want to mention the portions are big. I can make prob at least 4 meals out of what I ordered today. Price is good for what I got too.
I dont know Albany well at all. I work at a big construction company near this location. I googled best pizza place near me and navigated to I Love NY Pizza on 522 Central Ave. I was buying 3 slices of pizza for me and another employee. While I was waiting for pizzas to heat up I realized I only had $4 cash so I asked if they take credit or debit and I was then told yes, but with a $10 minimum. I quickly told the yound guy.. wait I can only get 2 pizzas then ($1.50 for a slice and soda and sicillian is $2 for slice and soda). I was so embarrassed, but hey who carrys cash on them these days right? The young guy was nice and suprisly not frustrated seeing how busy and fast paced they were at this time. My order was only $5 so unless I was buying more food I could only get 2 slices. There was another guy named Rocco he said no give her the pizza. I was astonished by Roccos kindness. Such great people with amazing compassion in such a bad neighborhood. The food was great and affordable, but the service and kidheartedness I experienced is what I will continue to go back for. I went back the next day and paid the dollar and left like a tip.
I love this place great food and a lot to pick from a the price. If you love pizza like I do, I tell you come here in my opinion one of the best places in the capital region, great food, good people, great prices what more do you want I totally recommend this place for sure.
A co-worker came back from lunch (late) upset, I am so happy I decided not to place a order!!!! what happened to her at you place was total unbelievable. Really very bad Customer servers!!!!!! Trust me the word is getting around about how you treat people. It would be a good idea to have some re-training, I am sure everyone (customers ) we be happy

Ordered shrimp marsala deep dish pizza. Very thick crust, even for a deep dish. Sauce had zero marsala flavor, but was very garlicky alfredo. Very modest amount of mushrooms and baby/popcorn shrimp. Better pies and values can be had elsewhere.
Ordered chicken parm and baked ziti for the office. The food was delicious and on time. They included plates, silverware, napkins, and even serving spoons and a spatula! Even the bread they included was delicious. The staff were very friendly as well.
Drove into town from Toronto and googled best pizza in town. Based on the reviews I ordered a pizza - lets just say canned mushrooms on a pizza - brutal - worse pizza ever - my wife took a bite and spat it out - not a way to start our vacation - oh well - very disappointed...

Waited 1.5 Hrs. No response to repeated calls. They did not inform GrubHub that they were offline. Finally had to cancel after waiting nearly 2 hrs for one Pie. No apologies or attempt to contact the customer.
Food was good but I ordered 10 mozzarella sticks and only received 5 but being that I worked until after they were closed I was not able to call and let them know and I wasnt able to check the order when it arrived because I was busy when they arrived to deliver

2022-06-29We were passing through Albany and I craved an authentic New York style pizza. Based on their advertisement and reviews, I chose I Love NY Pizza... Im sorry I did. The pizza wasnt terrible, but it definitely does not live up to the name. I ordered a large cheese pizza and it was doughy, thick and under cooked, the cheese was not completely melted and it was very light on sauce. I wanted some version of a NY street pizza - thin, crispy crust that you have to fold over to eat, just the right balance between cheese and sauce, the grease running down your hand as you eat it... This is not that. Again, not the worst pizza Ive ever eaten but most definitely NOT New York Pizza. I didnt even finish the whole thing. As for the service, it was great and fast. But I would have gladly accepted rude and slow if the pizza had lived up to the name and been true New York style. I will look elsewhere if I ever seek pizza in Albany again.

2021-08-14Menu clearly states white house pizza sauce! This clearly has red sauce on it! When I called to say something I was told I was wrong, I made the person on the phone go check google himself! Only then did he apologize for his attitude! He offered to make me another one but at this point I was home and refused to go back out for their mistake! He was apologetic but had no other solution going forward! The pizza is decent, garlic bread looks absolutely nothing like what is pictured and I paid $1 for a pack of Ken’s ranch dressing! If I wanted store bought ranch I had that at home! I will not be going back to this location! I gave 2 stars only because in the end he was apologetic! Hopefully they will get their mistakes fixed and work on their attitude!

2022-04-09Great service, always ready in a NY minute, and their pizza reminds of the delicious food when I was a child. Ive tried pizza (in other states while traveling) in the Capital District but this is by far the BEST! Try a slice of cheese and you wont be disappointed. Their alfredo pasta and fried dough are hits with my picky eaters.
