I had very pleasant experience with Dr Freedman and his staff. The office is well kept and clean. I went for cleaning and Dr. Nath did my procedure. Excellent doctor, thorough, caring, careful and professional. I am grateful I found ideal dental services and would highly recommend. Their service goes beyond the stars!
I was in desperate need of a cleaning after losing my last dentist when he closed his practice and joined a clinic that did not take my insurance. I found Ideal Dental Services through a web search and decided to try them out after reading many stellar reviews. I wish to add mine here. This was my first visit and I had a set of X-rays, checkup and a cleaning. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Freedman, and I have to say, the hype is true! He is a perfect gentleman, is extremely personable and was thorough and gentle. I expressed that Im a nervous patient and even though he took his time and made sure I was comfortable, he still got done quickly and my teeth felt great. I will be looking forward to seeing Dr Freedman again in 6 months for my next cleaning and will have MUCH less apprehension when I go!
My husband and I had our first visit with the dentist. Dr freedman and his staff were very professional and courteous. We didnt wait long in the waiting room. The place was clean, everyone wore a masks. Would recommend this place to our family and friends.
My 10 year old son was having a lot of pain with a baby tooth that wouldnt come out. He didnt sleep all night. I called the office next day and even though they were booked, they fit us in without charging a last minute emergency fee (which i have had other dentist do). We waited not even 5 minutes before they called us in to see the dentist. Dr Freedman was very kind and extremely pleasant to my son. He removed the tooth within minutes and my son felt no pain at all and was very grateful to the doctor. In addition, the office is impeccably clean with the most up to date equipment I have seen to date. Staff is wonderful and kind as well. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone.
I recently went to Ideal Dental after a much needed cleaning. I found them with a simple Google search after my dentist had retired. The experience was quick and painless-no long waiting at reception or to be seen by the dentist. Dr. Nath did my cleaning and he did a great job. He didn’t take too long and my teeth felt and looked incredibly clean. I will definitely be going back in the future.
As always I had an amazing visit! Dr. Freedman and his staff took tremendous care of my wife and I. We were seen by our dentist exactly on time, and the staff followed all Covid guidelines. Ive been a patient in this office for about a year and I absolutely love it here. Ive always been afraid of the dentist and the staff was great at making me feel welcomed and safe. Dr. Freedman was amazing at making sure I was calm and comfortable with whatever I was having done. The staff is very concerned about your well being and they all go out their way to make you happy. I am a patient of Ideal Dental Services for long time. After a long period of time I visited the office in there new location recently. I am very impressed with the office following the COVID guidelines....I lost one tooth and went there for the crown. I met Dr. Nath a young and personable dentist. I was amazed with his expertise to make me fee at ease and painless process that I experience. My crown came perfect and I got my smile back. I have been a patient of Ideal Dental In Deer Park for over 25 years. I have had a number of different procedures done and also go every 6 months for my check-ups and cleanings. Everyone so friendly and professional. I just went for my cleaning and they are following safety guidelines for COVID-19. I felt very comfortable being there. If you are looking for an excellent dentist, I highly recommend Dr Freedman and his team.
I changed dentists and went to Dr. Richard Freedman at Ideal Dental in North Babylon. The office is brand new and has state of the art equipment. I am sorry that I didnt change to Dr. Freedman sooner. I was very comfortable being there, and he and his staff treated me beautifully. Dr. Freedman is an experienced professional who knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him.
Amazing visit and that’s coming from a person who is scared of a dentist. As alway Dr.Nath is awesome, He and his assistant makes you feel so comfortable and without any pain at all. Cant say enough nice things about this office, and especially Dr. Nath!! Walking in the office was immaculate and was greeted with a wide warm smile by the handsome and charming Dr. Nath. He made me feel extremely comfortable unlike previous dentists Ive been to who are arrogant, dishonest and/or over charge for things i dont need. He talked me through everything he was doing and is extremely knowledgable and professional. It is very evident he became a dentist for the right reasons to help people and cares deeply for his patients. Ive been a patient for about 10 years now. I came to Dr Freedman with an unusual dental situation. I have been told I have a destructive bite. Which makes it most difficult in providing me with a procedure to remedy my problem and give me a great smile.I have found Dr Freedman and his staff to be very professional, honest, caring and a business that keeps their word and will do whatever is needed to remedy your situation. They have went above and beyond in caring for me and my unusual case. They have made a commitment to me and have not gone back on their word. They preformed extensive repairs and restoration to my mouth only to have me damage it with my destructive bite.They made a promise to me to make the necessary repairs and do additional work as needed to make things better than before, at no addition cost to me.I highly recommend IDEAL Dental for all your dental needs no matter how difficult they may be. Ive been going to ideal dental for over 10 years The staff is always professional and courteous and Dr. Freedman and Alba(I think thats how you spell it) are my favorite, everyone is good there though definitely the place to go when you are petrified of dentists they make sure you are completely comfortable before they start the work and Ive never have a problem. They will also work with you when it comes to how to pay for it wich is great! all in all a great place
I needed a tooth removed,so after searching my insurance company list I found Ideal Dental! My visit was very comforting the staff made my feel at ease. Dr Freedman assured me I would feel nothing, and he was right! A few months later came back for cleaning ,great service given both visits. I am now getting all my dental work done here!
The office is Efficient, professional and friendly. State of the art equipment and work. Friendly staff and immaculate office surroundings.I had a great experience at Ideal Dental Services. I needed my upper teeth to be pulled due to major degradation of my teeth and their roots. Bridges and caps were not an option. Dr Freedman was so nice and was sensitive to my concerns and fears. I was given a few options prior to my procedure. Dr Frohm made sure I didnt feel a thing during the procedure and have had little to no pain since. Thank you Dr Freedman and Dr Frohm for such a great experience!!
Dr. Freedman is an excellent dentist and has taken care of me, my wife and two children for a few years now. Dont pay attention to overly negative reviews---these are probably not even his patients. After switching from another dentist who had recommended to replace multiple old fillings, Dr. Freedman took one look at my mouth and said absolutely not-there was no need to replace anything. My old dentist was just looking to perform work and charge me for work I did not need. Im so glad I switched over to Dr. Freedman. He also recommended a great root canal specialist for my wife as well when she needed. Dr. is experienced, honest and an all around great man. Highly recommended!

Dr. Richard Freedman is one of the nicest people I have ever met in the Medical Field! I have been a patient of Dr. Freedman since 2010 and he is an Excellent Dentist and an even better person! Hello everyone, I just recently visited Dr. Freedmans practice, I went there on Tuesday and I received such wonderful Treatment from Dr. Freedman and his Staff.. they treated me with such great hospitality, they will make you forget that you are at the Dentist, I have a serious Phobia when it comes to visiting the dentist. I truly felt like I was sitting with family, now remind you I was there to get some serious dental work.I will highly recommend Dr.Freedman to everyone in my family and as well as my friends. His office is very clean and the staff had very good customer service skills.. I paid close attention to the way they treated me as well as their other clients, I was impressed. I must mention, I had an extraction done , but once the Novacaine wore off , I felt no pain, I was fine, I was able to eat.. very smooth experience. I thank you Dr. Freedman and Staff❤️❤️🙏🏾
Worst dentist I’ve ever been to. Originally I went to a different dentist a month before I went here and they were amazing and told me what I needed to get done. Unfortunately that office didn’t take my insurance so I decided to book an appointment with dr freedman after reading awesome reviews about him. I went into my appointment expecting him to fix whatever I needed done. He looked in my mouth for about 5 seconds at one tooth and said “everything looks fine no cavities you’re good to go”. Meanwhile the dentist I went to previously told me I had about 5 cavities. Will not be returning to this dentist.
Today I had the utmost pleasure in receiving dental care from IDEAL DENTAL SERVICES located in North Babylon, NY. I was instantly welcomed by a courteous staff. Upon completing the paperwork for my visit, I was IMMEDIATELY seen. NO wait time at all. The x-ray technician Alba was extremely personable. Dr. Richard Freedman handled my teeth cleaning with expertise and bedside manor offering care and humor to comfort me and diffuse my anxiety. I am a smoker who has not received cleaning in at least 7 years and what should have been 2 separate visits, he performed this service in one single visit! My pearly whites are radiant and I am proud to showcase my 3 million watt smile because of the caliber of Freedmans exemplary service. I am overjoyed at the thought of my next visit because of the exemplary professionalism and care by Dr. Richard Freedman and all of his excellent staff. They havent been there that long. They only been opened up for about 2 years now but I really like them a lot. The main dentist is very nice, gentle and professional. They have all the latest Equipment. For all of the staff is very Helpful, Friendly and professional. The place itself is very clean, organised and very well kept.

I lost my dentist due to retirement. He was my dentist for 40 years. It was traumatic to start searching for a new dentist that my family would feel comfortable with. So When my daughter had a dental emergency, I went through 1800dentist. It was a disaster. The dentist in Massapequa basically just wanted my money. cost me 200.00 for them to refer me to someone else. I got advice from a relative and called Ideal Dental Services. I explained my problems and Dr. Freedman jumped on the phone right away. He put me at ease and assured me that he could help me in a timely manner. His office staff is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I couldnt be happier with my experience and recommend the office to everyone I know. My whole family is switching over to Ideal Dental.
Normally hate going to the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Everyone there is so nice and the office is absolutely beautiful!!! They do a fantastic job and make going to the dentist enjoyable. Cant say enough great things about Ideal Dental Services!!!
What a great office, the dentist was very friendly as well as his assistant. The staff in the front greeted me with a smile and were very pleasant which made me feel very comfortable. My daughter who was going to the dentist for the first time loved how Dr.Freedman treated her. I am a very pleased mom! I loved everything about the office !
I have to say this is the best experience i have ever had at the dentist!!! I don’t like dentist and have very bad anxiety going to them. I was in a lot of pain and they seen me right away even though they really had no spots opened , they made me feel comfortable and took care of my issue right away !! I have always been terrified of the dentist but after some pain knew I needed to make an appointment and be seen. The staff at Ideal Dental was very comforting and handled my anxiety well. They explained everything prior to doing it and ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process! I cannot say enough about how well I was treated!
Staff is very off putting and rude , doctor would not do the work necessary to have procedure approved by insurance ... Seems as though the doctor was not interested in doing the work . As i sat down to take radiographs one of the receptionist barges into the room and demands for the dental assistant to capture an image of a paper clip as the assistant is setting up to take my x-rays completely unprofessional as well as Obnoxious In my professional opinion ! Upon stepping into the Panoramic x-ray machine the assistant proceeded to take the x-ray without placing an Led apron shield and thyroid shield over my thyroid , ovaries and breasts which are areas very susceptible to radiation if not covered by a lead apron there was no lead apron in the room and when I asked the assistant for a lead apron she explained I do not need it which is very very very untrue (future references if any One wants to perform an x-ray on you especially an x-ray that exudes extreme radiation please be sure to make sure and have your organs covered by a lead apron! Especially females with a history of family Cancer, Also do not Let them convince you that the radiation is focused yes it is focused but it can leak! )
The office staff is absolutely amazing, everyone is very friendly. Dr.Freedman is phenomenal, he has to be one of the best dentists out there. Dr.Freedman really helped me with the pain I was in, I couldnt be anymore thankful.

Walked in as I was in excruciating pain. The staff was awesome and took me in right away for X-rays. I am terrified of the dentist. But they really were awesome in making me feel at ease. Out of all the dental places i have been too in my life this is by far the most friendly and helpful place. The staff are wonderful and very professional. The dentists themselves are amazing at what they do and really care about there patients. If you had too go anywhere id say go here!!
I have been receiving treatment from Ideal for the past 30 years and always been extremely satisfied.I initially went because I had serious problems with my teeth and gums and was recommended to Dr. Freedman. My problems were rectified and I was put on a regular regimen of follow up care.Now that they have moved to state of the art new offices I am as pleased as anyone can be to go to my dentist.
Dr. Freedman is not only a great dentist, he is a wonderful person. He is patient when working on my teeth, and stops when I need him too. This is very important to me, being I am nervous when I am getting any work done, or even just a cleaning. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I have been to numerous dentists in the past, but none of my experiences have been as wonderful as in this office.

The front desk staff was more than helpful with addressing any insurance questions I had as well as scheduling my appointments. Really not sure how this place has 5 star reviews. Me and my sister have been in here a few times for cavity fillings and had nothing but bad experiences. They do an excellent job with making the procedure stress and pain free, but this place just cares about money. Every time that me and my sister have gone here, they insisted that the white fillings were all that they had, which isnt covered by insurance, and that the silver fillings contained mercury which is why they dont have them anymore. They say that the white filling is somewhere around $300-$400 and is not covered by insurance. Ive talked to the nurses there and they go and get the silver fillings because even they know that what they do there is wrong. The main doctor got angry that I demanded silver and even came up to me as the anesthesia was in and said that next time i come, I would get white fillings. Well how about I just never come back to you? Ill spend the $100-$150 at a different doctor that doesnt cover my dental plan than spend $300-$400 on your story about mercury in the silver fillings, which i understand is said about the fillings yet there are still doctors using it on a daily basis because its not dangerous unless you ingest it.
I came here for a toothache and was told I needed a route canal. After 4 pleasurable visits I have no complaints. Dr. Schneider handled my work as a professional. Highly recommended. Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dr.Freedmans a life saver! I had been putting off going to the dentist for so long because of a bad experience at a different office, but I finally gave in after weeks of being in excruciating pain. Dr.Freedman took me in the same day despite the fact that I didnt have insurance ! He took his time with me and was very patient, he even gave me a great discount which helped me out a lot. His staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this office!

DR Richard Freedman is a very good dentist and knows what he is doing! he is also friendly! i got a pulp cap for my front canine tooth and it went well and looks great! i dont have to be ashamed to smile now. i definitely recommend Ideals dental service and Dr Freedman! great service!
I woke up with a bad toothache and after calling several offices that were unable to see me I finally got an appointment with Ideal Dental Services. I went to the appointment, filled out the necessary paperwork and was taken in approximately ten minutes to have an x-ray taken of the tooth. I thought the tooth would have to be extracted but, the doctor said it could be saved with a root canal, post, and crown. I had insurance and was told that my only responsibility would be whatever insurance didnt pay. The female doctor performed a root canal and three weeks later I received my crown. My only responsibility was $475.00 for all three procedures. Needless to say I am now a regular patient at Ideal Dental Services and I highly recommend all my friends to go there.
I am never the one to write reviews (don’t care enough usually ) but the EXEMPLARY services provided by Dr . Nath would be criminal not to thank . Dentist visits are usually stressful for me, but with the professionalism, kindness, and care with which I was treated (his wits and charm were definitely also a welcome distraction) I had no worries at all .OVERALL THANK YOU DR . I have to say, from the moment I arrived at Ideal Dentist, Dr. Freedman made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The entire staff, from the receptionist to all the hygienists and excellent doctors made my subsequent visits very comfortable.
I transferred from my previous dentist to Ideal dental and so far it’s been wonderful! I needed new dentures. Everyone in the office is kind and patient with me andstrive to make my dentures perfect for me. Would definitely recommend this dentist

Was my first time,because I change insurance. But start for the girl who did the xrays..she was very disrespectful with my son. My son move and she was said the F word. Is NO nice. And the dentist did my cleaning so fast I didnt feel he did a good job..I never going back ...
Dr Freedman is amazing, I moved 45 minutes from his office and I still drive to Deer Park just for him, best dentist, best staff ever. Dr Freedman always takes care of his patients, and he always makes sure you are happy, is truly a place where you feel at home and Alva is the best too!!!!
I have known Dr. Freedman for over 20 years they explain the treatment you need so that you understand and know how many appointments you need to complete the treatment plan. They are great and the staff is also terrific. I recommend Dr Freedman for your Dental Needs.
The front desk was excellent and thats about it. The X-ray tech instantly latched onto me and was telling me about her work issues with coworkers. Please just take my X-rays and let me go. The dentist was cold and not personable. It took more time to fill out paperwork then my actual time in the chair. The office seemed dingy and gross. Will not be going back.
Im not sure how this place has so many good reviews, so I went there they take and x ray of my mouth then i get the cleaning done, which was why i was there. The cleaning was alright definitely not the most thorough but not bad. Then after the doctor working with freedman says ok youre done see you in six months. I right away said what about the x rays i know i have cavities i can see them when looking in the mirror. So he says oh i thought the other doctor looked at them, so then freedman pretends to look at them and says no your good no cavities. I go what? I know I have cavities i can feel them right now lol. Then the guy who did my cleaning calls me back and he proceeds to actually look at the x rays which i know doctor freedman didnt do because they literally had no idea where the x rays where, i go look here and what do you know he says yea you have a cavity he finds another. it just shows how they are just doing the xrays for insurance payout and if i didnt insist i have cavities twice they would have just sent me on my way. I mean if they dont know what a whole in your tooth is then how are they doctors? i would not recommend

First I want to say I SLEPT LIKE A BABY FINALLY. I am terrified of the dentist, Dr.Freedman and his lovely staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. No pain, easy and fast. Never judge a book by its cover because the outside and entrance is a bit sketchy. P.S if you do have pain he will make sure you are not and wont feel a thing. love love love.
Ideal dental is a very clean, COVID safe and the staff is always friendly. Would certainly recommend Dr. Freedman!

This dentist is a crook i have insurance yet they told me that my insurance does not cover a porcelain crown and that he only does porcelain. so i was charged $900.00 dollars. turns out i just had a porcelain crown done by another dentist that accepts my insurance. long and behold my insurance covered a porcelain crown 100%.

If I could give negative stars I would. Don’t go to this office, they are CON ARTIST. I haven’t seen a dentist since I was 17 and I know I have serval cavities, this guy didn’t even look in my mouth. The “cleaning” wasn’t thorough. This is A waste of a trip and I’m glad I didn’t pay out of pocket. All they care about is TAKING YOUR MONEY

Originally gave this place top review! The bonding on my front tooth chipped off and since the Dr that did the work isnt available for a week they cant help me. No other dentist will work on another patient. Dont go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a root canal done here and it took 7 visits at an endodontist to correct the mess they made. I wouldnt go there for FREE. Dr. Friedman, the owner is a rude and nasty man.
So I went to have a molar out. Dr .frredman is awesome. I didn’t feel a thing and everyone is so patient. He is my forever dentist.

If there were a very poor I would give that.The office staff really are very bad as well. Went back to the office 3 times before they realized that the lab lost the impression which had to be done again. They made a cap that was like a wad of gum, not a tooth. Stay away from them !!!! A bad experience by me and other too.

Very friendly stuff but the doctor I would not recommended to any one he does not have any patience I went for clean up for first time a doctor saying it’s to much for me to clean and he took only 5 min and he told me is done i was very disappointed

2022-02-16My experience at ideal dental is amazing from beginning to end. Reception is always very kind and professional. Dr. Linda is one of the best dentist I have ever been to. I have a huge phobia of the dentist but I actually looked forward to completing my root canal with her. She just completed my crown and did an AMAZING job.

2022-06-23Everyone in the office is extremely nice. Was greeted as soon as I walked in. Dr. Freedman is also very nice and is great at explaining exactly what treatment your teeth require. Gentle and thorough with his examination and cleaning. My teeth are in great hands here.

2021-11-25My experience at Ideal dental has been absolutely great!! The staff there are really friendly and so helpful. I was treated by Dr Schneider, who is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to!! Dr Schneider is a perfectionist and has gone above and beyond to give me back a beautiful smile!! Dr Schneider’s assistant Diana is also wonderful, I immediately felt comfortable with her, they truly make a great team . I could not be happier !!!!

2021-10-14I called two weeks ago for an emergency appointment and the receptionist who helped me was so attentive and helpful in getting me in asap. When I was seen, Dr. Freedman was my dentist. He was very gentle and patient. He took his time making sure I was comfortable and I understood the condition of my teeth. I would recommend this dentist to all my friends and family. I have never met a staff more welcoming, lighthearted and professional than this one.

2021-12-14Dr. Linda gave me one of the best cleanings in my life and repaired a filling that previously fell out. I have to say she did an excellent job and shes fast as well. Ive worked in the dental field for the last 13 yrs and its hard to find an office that checks all my boxes. This one is it!!! From the moment I walked in to the second I left. Everyone was great! I applaud you all.

2021-08-04This was my first time visiting Dr. Freedman’s office. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately by the kind receptionist who allowed me to e-mail a photo of my insurance card as I had not had it on me. A few moments later I was bought in to begin my x-ray and cleaning. The doctor and his staff were very professional and had me out of the office in no time after a great cleaning, which I believe was the best cleaning I’ve had in a while. I will be back to receive future dental services here!
