This supermarket has a horrible odor. When I passed the meat section the smell of rotten meat and fish overwhelmed me. I wouldnt attempt to buy any meat at all. I have a stomachache and gagged a few times. Not to mention the roaches. Shame on this establishment. Do much better.
For those who know and appreciate Latin American and West Indian foods, this is the spot. ALL the ingredients are packed in tight aisles, so its kind of an adventure. Try looking down in the produce crates at foot level if you like your dried bulk chiles (chipotle, ancho, etc.), or just cant find the garlic.... They have prepared foods in case you dont know what youre doing with longaniza, chicharrón, oxtail, ackee or saltfish. The fish market is also excellent. Real food for those whose comfort zones have negotiable borders. Please remember to tip the baggers!
The store discriminate against blacks and they give you hard time to cash Wic checks or any government assistance programs. They managers and workers do not speak English and they were very unprofessional. Store manager and worker refused to give me name and Id number to make a formal complaint.
I am tired of going to this supermarket and seeing the disgusting rotten cards, covered with BLACK MOLD. IF THEYRE ROTTEN, THEY DROPPED IN THE GARBAGE. MOLD IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR HEALTH. This can cause stomach upset, cavesa pain, skin irritation, and infections. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS LET THIS HAPPEN -__-.THIS HAS TO BE REPORTED. IF NOBODY DESIGNS ANYTHING, THEY WILL CONTINUE SELLING ROTTEN THINGS.

2022-06-05They had exactly what I needed, the cheapest eggs in town, plus my bread I need with lower salt for my husband, my butter spray. They also give a ride to the older people who live in my senior complex, or will get an order together for them and deliver it. Very convenient.

2020-09-11They recently updated the store. Its clean and spacious. The vegetables as usual are gorgeous! Reasonably priced. The fish Dept is pristine...good prices and the fish mongers are extremely helpful. The main cashiers are very nice.

2020-07-21This grocery store chain has a great selection of Caribbean & Latin American food products/produce, and a separate fish/seafood section. Me being Jamaican, I love it.The downside to this place is, the meat quality especially their chicken is terrible! A lot of near or expired food products are on their shelves, please be aware when purchasing dairy products. Ive also noticed since the coronavirus pandemic, that price gouging is happening at this particular location. A small box of breakfast cereal is close to $8 damn dollars. A dozen of eggs is around $6. Thats just wrong.

2018-12-05I really like this place as it reminds me of an old grocery store growing up complete with some tight aisle. What makes this place so good is the vast and affordable meat selection that I typically cant find in this area on the cheap. Produce selection was pretty good as well, this place has a great South/Central American selection of foods. This place wont win any beauty contest but it does what its suppose to provide good service and selection. PS. got free packs of caprisun for my son for spending $100

2019-12-09The seafood department has a good selection but the service is not consistent. I placed an order for like 6 pieces of fish cleaned and cut, and after 15 mins no one had touched it. I came back to pick it up thinking it might be ready and the guy is waiting for another person to get started on it. It’s a super slow night and no one is here. I don’t get what kind of service this is. Not happy at all to be waiting nearly 30 mins for this order. Will going elsewhere from now on.

2021-04-23Purchased pre packaged macaroni salid from the deli counter on Main St in Farmingdale NY today April 22, 2021. Took a bite and realized it was spoiled. Looked at the package date and it said 3/21/21, best used by 3/21/21. Why is this still on the shelf 31 days later? I will never buy any pre-packaged food from this chain ever again! Beware!

2017-08-08Great diversity of south and central American food. Good selection of fresh, as well as dried, peppers and spices. The seafood looks and smells fresh. Pretty much a full on butcher shop also. The only place to find rare cuts and whole slabs of meat. Only thing missing is a deli. With the selection of meat who needs a deli for processed preserved cold cuts. Buy fresh and slice your own.

2020-06-20Nor bad nor good, very tight aisles not COVID19 compliant. Looked clean but much needed update renovation. Prices were not competitive. I liked they had alot of international goods.
