I have been going to Ideal Image in Albany for yearrsssss getting laser hair removal done‼️‼️ The results are ab-so-lutely amazing‼️‼️ I keep going back and back for more areas‼️ I highly recommend Ideal to everyone‼️‼️ The staff here in Albany are incredibly nice‼️ So sweet & caring‼️ & never having to shave is one of the most satisfying things in the world‼️ All that time spent in the shower weekly just to have pricklys a few days later compared to a quick 30 minute laser session once every other month & no pricklys ever‼️ No more checking before going out & having to shave quick‼️ No more stress, free your mind with laser hair removal & be all smooth all the time‼️

They sold me a very expensive package for laser hair removal and told me touch ups were free. Then when I bought my second area they told me touch ups were a small fee around $50. I called to get a touch up and they told me it would be hundreds of dollars after already spending thousands on “lifetime hair removal”.
I’m a very happy customer. My first day at Ideal I was very unsure of what to expect. I was also insecure about the issues with my skin and having someone getting close to me. Then I met Katie, we created an instant bond. She was so non judgmental and explained everything thing to me. I really felt safe and welcome. My first treatment was a job well done. I saw results on my first treatment. The clinic is very clean and follow all Covid guidelines. They’re all friendly. I recommend them 100%. Thanks Katie and Ideal.
Francesca was wonderful—I am very impressed with the professionalism of this first experience at Ideal Image. The women at the front desk were also very friendly, helpful to me and understanding from the crazy day I was having. As being a local salon owner, it is always important to me to acknowledge when you enter a business with wonderful front desk customer service as they are the “face to the place”. I have received 8 laser treatments previously at a different location (not Ideal Image) before starting completely over and & I can definitely say it is a complete different experience. I am very pleased to have had Francesca. She is a sweetheart, very knowledgeable and her professionalism was exceptional. FYI. BEWARE... If you sign up and change your mind they still make you pay for the services. I went through a funding company, and they are fine with releasing me from the contract, but Ideal Image will not release me, they said even if the funding company release me I still have to pay them. Because it is on the contract, now take into consideration you are on a zoom consultation and obviously you do not have time to read 14 pages of legal stuff. I am sure the staff at the Albany locations is great, my upset is with corporate and their poor service, by pressuring people to a contract when they no longer want the service..
A+ I enjoy being greeted immediately and wait time is non-existent. The techs are pleasant, informative and offer quick answers to any of my questions. In fact I just added an additional service due to her assistance.

Got Laser hair removal here and it helped so much! My underarms are lighter and I don’t have to shave even after my first treatment! Truly life changing and it saved me a lot of $$ on shaving creams and razors.

I am very disappointed with Ideal Image. My contract expired sometime mid 2021 and i had stopped the treatment because of Covid everywhere. Like any other business, thought they would extend the time or at least inform that my contract was ending. Neither did they extend nor did they inform about contract expiring. Never doing business with them again.

I never thought I would go a day without shaving my face. Ive been struggling with PCOS for over 20 years and the facial hair was putting a toll on my self confidence. Thanks to ideal image I can go 3 days without any new growth. Just in a few spots and only a few hairs in those spots. Ive only had about 8 treatments so far and the results are amazing.

This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My quality of life has increased immensely by not having to shave all the time. You see results after the first session. This summer has been so nice not having to stress about making sure my armpits, bikini area, and legs are shaved. It is so nice to have the extra time and the piece of mind that I’m not hairy. Francesca is one of my favorite nurses. She was super knowledgeable and explained the process to me to ensure I most out of my laser package. She made sure to go thoroughly over each section and that no spots are missed. Even thought they are using the laser in personal areas I felt completely comfortable the entire time.I highly recommend and wish I decided to do this sooner.

I had Amber as my nurse today for my laser hair removal treatment and she was amazing!! So kind and thoughtful, she talked me through it, made sure I was ready, gave me an ice pack in between and made me feel so comfortable. I’ve had a lot of great nurses here but Amber really stood out. The space is always clean and the staff is very kind, I highly recommend ideal image!
I had a wonderful experience with Amber this week! She was so great to talk to during my treatment, it really helped to distract from the discomfort of my laser hair removal treatment. Todays session was exceptionally painful. The first cool sculpting session was painful but after 10 minutes I was numb and could relax. This time the pain lasted through the entire treatment on my left side. I almost hit the button to have the machine turned off, but its so expensive I didnt want to throw all that money away. I have a very high pain tolerance so this really, really hurt.
Please read before you come here or sign any contract with IDEAL image.I am really disappointed and I feel that I have been cheated.I came all the way from NYC to Albany to do retouch because I did not finish all the sessions covered by my package with IDEAL imageI still have one or two more sessions remaining and I was not able to get them because I had major surgery.After I finished my last session, the employee asked me, when do you like to schedule your next visit.I told them not to schedule me because I will have surgery and I will not be able to schedule any visits for one year. The employee never mentioned anything about my contract and that I will lose my last one or two sessions if my contract got expired.After one year I called and scheduled an appointment and two minutes before my session begins they came and told me that I have to pay extra money because my contract with them is expired and I have to pay a deductible or I can not have the session. The deductible was not a small number.I paid a lot of money and they collected money for sessions that I never received and now they ask for more. Be careful before you come here

I just moved back to the Albany area and found Ideal Image. I was excited to find a friendly staff and an affordable financing plan. I was approved for $7,000.00 and had 2 separate procedures done. I had Ultherapy on my face and neck and cool sculpting. When I went to make a payment I was told that I had 2 separate accounts and I had to pay $149.00 a month on each one. I was shocked and was never told that each procedure was a separate loan. I was going to have another procedure done but based on the fact that it was going to be another separate charge. I felt as though the financing was misleading and I was never informed that the was the case. BEWARE of this misrepresentation if you are getting financing through this organization HCS. When you get approved for a loan it should be 1 payment!!!!!!!! RIGHT? I would love to hear back from one owners please.I have to say that I am pleased with the cool sculpting results but not pleased with the financing AT ALL!!!!

Had a full ul therapy done at this place went back 4 months later cause it did not work was told I had to wait 6 months to see any results 7 months later still the same not worth the $2,000 plus I spent and the painful process as a matter of fact I still have numb sensation under my chin save yourself the money go to a good plastic surgeon
Although it was not the nurses fault I was very displeased with this entity. I canceled two other appointments to make sure that I made it to my appointment tonight and upon my arrival I was told they weren’t able to treat me as I did not follow guidelines for pre-treatment. I was never told there was restrictions prior to coming there today. This is definitely something that should be explained prior to coming to our first appointment.
Christine was so knowledgeable and professional. She was able to answer all of my questions effortlessly. I was given options for payments and was able to settle on the perfect experience.
I absolutely LOVE this location so much!!! And Francesca was amazing to work with! I did Cool Sculpting and was able to lose 20 pounds so far!!! I am going back to get more done around my muffin top! I have multiple sclerosis and my fatigue makes it hard for me to work out, but I am trying my best to eat better. Eat less-move more is my motto, but I am VERY grateful that Cool sculpting can give me a boost in my weight loss journey.

Just got my first ever lip injections today at Ideal Image with Terina. They took care of me A-Z. They made me feel comfortable and right at home, and they were happy to answer any questions I had. The staff is so friendly! The numbing cream that they used was amazing, I did not feel a thing! Totally painless. Terina listened to exactly what I wanted to see, and produced amazing results, just what I asked for. She was a doll to work with and I can’t wait to go back!

Shauna the nurse technician was incredible! I had many areas done (chest, upper & lower leg, underarms, bikini and chin/neck) and the appointment lasted for 2 hours. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed even though at times the treatment itself can be uncomfortable. The room was very clean given new health codes with COVID.Although I do agree that the pricing can be high. When i first came to IDEAL i felt like I was wasting my money by just getting chin and neck. However, this time around I was able to take advantage of the 5 areas promo AND was able to get a current customer discount. They also had quite a few other promos going on for Full leg, and the 70% off promotion. If you can take advantage of the promos like I was able to, then I really believe the treatments are worth it.I have dark/course hair, and honestly, this is just something that makes me feel more comfortable and provides a convenience. Overall I would recommend. I think the benefit comes from being able to have larger areas completed.
I am obsessed with how amazing Katie’s work is!So I am pretty new to the whole filler thing. I got my lips done less than a year ago by a plastic surgeon that really did a bad job.I started to notice that my top lip was uneven and I needed to get more filler so I made an appointment at Ideal Image with Katie, And OMG!! She was super sweet and professional. She really took her time and is a true perfectionist.It is really hard to find someone that does a good job at filler especially in this area. I took a chance and just made the appointment and I’m really happy that I did. I wanted a nice full lip and she even made my border and shape perfect! Absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend her! Amazing!!!!!!

I had signed up fo cool sculpting during the COVID deal, where I was supposed to receive a 36 month interest free loan. I selected and signed for the 36 month interest free loan that my consultant had told me to. However that is not what I received. I have now been charged a ton of interest to my account. I honestly only tried cool sculpting because of the deal and would not have tried it otherwise. I had very minimal results with 8 sessions and am losing more with my exercise routine that I had started many months after my last treatment. If I had received the deal, I probably would be okay with not losing much, but I have tried contacting ideal image through the location and their consultant at least 6 times to have this fixed. They keep saying I have to contact my loan borrow even when I tell them how my loan borrow tells me to contact them. I have left emails and messages and still have not received a call back. I am very dissatisfied with my experience because I am having to pay more than I was quoted and I did not lose inches or the 20-30 pounds that my consultant had told me I would lose. I had only lost about 3-4 pounds and .5 inch from my 8 sessions of cool sculpting.
On my arrival at Ideal Image, I was greeted by a welcoming reception staff offering coffee, water or tea. My consultation was with Rachael for my treatment..She is very friendly and knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable immediately. We discussed what type of procedure I was looking at and I was given a choice of treatments. I found the prices very competitive and never felt any pressure to purchase either plan.I was fortunate to have Shawna do my treatments. She is the best injector I’ve ever had. I chose to have 2 separate appointments so not to overfill. The 2 procedures were included in the same price package. Through out the procedure Shawna frequently asked if I was comfortable, if not she applied more “numbing” cream. I am beyond thrilled with the results. Looking forward to my next visit !

Two stars are for the first person who scheduled me for my consult, she was lovely! i am very interested in laser hair/fillers but this company will take advantage of you. the consult itself was almost embarrassing. the representative was uneducated in her field and was honestly a little rude. their scripting pushes sixteen sessions for laser which is almost twice as much than anyone would need. when asked to quote without the package, i was met with confusion and dismissive words. the entire time i was extremely friendly and that seemed to just annoy her, the consultation lasted about thirty minutes and was just a very belittling experience. none of the discounts previously discussed were applicable. i am prepared to invest thousands of dollars in myself but not with company.

Amazing, friendly staff. I have been treated for laser hair removal and the technician was so sweet. I also received filler and Botox and my nurse was amazing! So friendly and wanted to make sure I got the results I was looking for, very hard to find injectors that are so concerned for not only your health but the look you are going for. 10/10
I give Katie a 10 plus! She is sweet, professional and very knowledgeable.My only issue is with the corporation, the corporation that thinks one sale is good for all. Well it’s not. the price of 15.00, Per unit for Botox is terrible. Yes Katie explained the amazing 8.90 per unit. But it doesn’t work for all. At least 10.00 per unit for people who can’t do the 250.00 down and then the cost of the 8.90 per unit. Even though I really like Katie I will seek Botox elsewhere, unless the corporation people can make it affordable for all.SincerelyCherie C
Started with laser hair removal everyone was always so nice and helpful! A deal came up for Cool Sculpting and who doesn’t want a little help with trouble spot especially after kids! It was a lot of money but they offered financing for it so I thought why not. Didn’t work for me Nicole was so incredibly helpful through the process and making me feel better. She was knowledgeable and just wanted to make the situation better for me. I will continue to do business with them! Great group of women there
Terena was very gentle, extremely professional and the results are amazing. I will be going back soon. I had Juvederm injections around my mouth and upper cheek. The results of the upper cheek were so good it actually lifted the lower part or gave the impression. I will be going back for more.
I primarily see Leigh Anne who is exceptionally skilled. She has a tremendous eye for the right aesthetic. She makes recommendations and never lets me “overdo it”. It is such a professional environment—She has even helped me overcome my extreme anxiety about needles. I could not be more pleased with the results!

I go for laser treatment, and the nurses are kind and efficient. They really try and make you feel welcome and comfortable by always offering coffee,tea and water. I highly recommend this place. I particularly like Sierra and Katie they are both very quick and make treatment go easily. A consolation appointment is free!

I came here to get my botox done, they had a great promotional rate. Clean space, friendly professional staff, very approachable and patient. After a few days I was still have some unwanted activity in my brow area (11’s, you know what I’m talking about) and the team there was very accommodating. They got me back in at a convenient time to take a look and handled everything like absolute pros. They way they handled my request for a touch up with such competence and grace will certainly have me back. It’s not that difficult to find med spa services but it IS difficult to find practitioners with that level of professionalism and class. Thanks ladies! See you in three months!

This review pertains to their HQ, not the Albany location.The sales representatives of this organization are misleading and dishonest. I was assured I was be able to get an appointment prior to my moving date and that was not the case. I now live hours away making it nearly impossible to get to my appointment. Calling customer service doesnt help because they refuse to help with a refund based on contract contraints even if their sales representatives breach the contract. What they are doing is a scam.
I went once before and it was just okay. Tried them a second time and had Terina and she is AMAZING! Great communication and gives you exactly what you want. I highly recommend her.

So far Ive had one area completed and have enjoyed the experience and results so much that I just HAD to come back for a second area! Today was my first appointment and the staff is just as friendly and knowledgeable as always. I will always love Ideal Image!!!
The staff was friendly and professional unfortunately the result from the botox are not good. I had purchased 75 units at a discounted price which was more than I have ever gotten. The results for the 1st doses for the 11 did nothing at all. 3 months later I received the remaining units. Against my better judgement I allowed her to inject in the areas above my eyebrows. I told her the reason I did not want her to put the botox in those areas as it caused my eyes to be puffy and eyebrows to look low and heavy...I have had better results getting 40 units.
Coolsculpting did not work at all. Not even a little. At my follow up appointment in Albany (Colonie), NY, the staff could not find my before pictures to compare with the after photo. They said they’d get back to me and have not returned my calls in weeks. My results were consistent with ratings online. I will call corporate and join the other reports to BBB if I do not hear some resolution given they lost my photos.11/23/20: I have received no correspondence despite my attempt to call twice more since this review was published and the company replied they would reach out to me. Have not yet heard back from anyone. Awaiting a return phone call from the manager Nicole. 12/7- Trued calling again, still no return phone call.

Super friendly and informative staff. Ive been so insecure about my bikini line for years and I felt super comfortable with the staff just after meeting them at the first (free) consultation. I got my first treatment the same day I went in to the consultation also!! They also give you so many payment options that its hard to say no to the great pricing they offer!

I have been struggling with facial hair since 10th grade, After hearing countless advertisements for Ideal Image on the radio with their ad for the 70% off sale, I decided to set up a consultation. At my consultation, Rachel listened to my needs, understood how personally invested I was in hoping they could remove my facial hair. I felt like I was on cloud nine, like finally something that was going to happen to fix something that has been upsetting me for so long. Where the appointment went awry was when we went back into her office to discuss pricing. For them to do my upper lip, chin, and what they call my upper neck it was going to be $2528.80. Yes, that is a lot of money, but that wasn’t the problem. What upset me was Rachel said I needed to put a down payment or start my payment plan that day to receive that 70% off promotion. I asked why that would be the case, was the promotion ending? She said, no the 70% is typical for when you are getting three or more areas done, and when you get 2 areas done it tends to be 50-60% off etc. I said again, Why can’t I go home and talk to my husband about it since it is not cheap it will be $2528.80. She said that’s how they have always done it and I could call him. The pressure she pushed on me to make the decision that day or I wouldn’t receive the discounted price was ridiculous. I could have understood not offering the 70% off quote indefinitely because pricing changes, but why wasn’t I at least allowed to go home and talk it over with my husband and sleep on it for the night? Was it a gimmick like at a vendor show or fair that I had to buy right then to get the special price? I even asked her, so if I go home and talk to my husband, I can’t call back tomorrow to get things going without the pricing going from $2528.80 to the non discounted price of $7846.00? And she said no, I would need to call back by the close of today, which at the time it was already 6:30pm and they close at 8pm. I then asked why she didn’t tell me when I booked the consultation that I would need to decide that day to receive the 70% off special, because then I would have brought my husband with me to the consultation... but she didn’t have an answer for that because lets be honest if a business told you that you had to decide that day on a medical procedure or the discount wouldn’t be there would you think they were a legit business? No. So, when I got home I talked it over with my husband, tears in my eyes as I tried to explain how all my hopes for it felt so real and then when forced to make a $2500 decision within less than two hours it felt like my option was going to be ripped from me and I would be back at square one. My husband knows how much my facial hair bothers me and said call and book it then... but I didn’t because I had felt so betrayed by being forced to make a decision that is very important, and certainly not cheap in such a harsh and rushed way that Ideal Image will never receive my business. Healthcare, and spending $2500 on a procedure should never feel like a rushed transaction. If only she said that I had a couple days to think about it or even made the expiration date on my quote for 1 week or 3 days, they would have had my business and probably the business of a few of my friends and family. But now, with how I was treated I nor any of my friends or family will ever be doing business with them. As a company that claims to be making people happy for so many years they should understand that what they are selling is not only expensive, but it’s a cure for something that emotionally tugs on a lot of peoples feelings because it affects how we feel everyday so to treat it like a rushed gimmick at a county fair is bad business practice

Katie did an amazing job on my lips! I have been doing injections for over 20 years and she did the best job ever. Better than my long time Dermatologist. I also received BOTOX in Tacoma WA a few weeks ago and they missed a spot which she quickly remedied. I am looking forward to working with Katie for a very long time next up for me is Voluma and BBL! Cant wait!
I had a great meeting with my consultant and purchased $6,000 worth of services but can’t get in till Dec and haven’t heard from anyone in a week about actually getting in to have these services performed - you took my money but I’m supposed to wait two months to receive the service? Not a good first impression.
Super fast response time and honest people! I was interested in laser tx but was given a very thorough and honest explanation that I would not be a good fit for the treatment given my red hair. Very comforting environment with the chairs in the lounge area. Theyve also got a Keurig machine and free water for guests. The staff that helped me were great but my results were terrible. I was not happy with the results and when asked after spending the amount I did, I was informed that with further treatment I would have to pay even more each time I returned. I have not returned since the last time I had to pay an additional amount.

Coolsculpting here was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. It was expensive, the recovery was painful and the result was less than negligible.I have had liposuction in the past. Although a little more expensive, the recovery was much easier and the outcome was great. I should have stuck to that. And Customer Service is totally unresponsive,Also- Comenity Bank is terrible. Be very careful if you do the financing through them.
Good service for a fair price. The ladies that work here are very professional and nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was told by the receptionist that my brilliant distinctions points never expire and I lost $70 in rewards because they expired and I could have used them with my most recent visit
Finished with a touch up. The staff was very friendly and Katie was incredibly proficient and patient. I would definitely encourage people to get their procedures completed with her.

I had couple of treatments in the spa, from Botox, Coolsculping to Ultherapy. The staff attention and knowledge about the treatments are very well tune to your needs and health. The friendly environment and follow ups after treatments show how they care about you to achieve the results that you want. It is a great spa of high specialize staff is a great choice to go.

The bbl treatment was more painful than I expected. Apparently I am sensitive to things on my face. While Im looking forward to better skin, Im not looking forward to the next treatment. ouchy

The staff is really nice and friendly but they definitely sold me on coolsculpting and it did not work. The treatment was expensive and time consuming.. I was sore and swollen for weeks and I have no results. I wish I could get my money back.

Pretty disappointed. Called them for a price and they refused to give me a quote than had me on a 30 minute hold. When I tried calling back they hung up on me. Completely unprofessional.

2022-02-22My daughter had her first appointment for laser for partial facial hair removal a few weeks ago. She felt the technician helping her made the process very smooth, working with her patiently to get her acclimated to the first session. She is hoping to get that technician each time! I am also hoping the laser technique works in the long term, as my daughter has been struggling with thick hair on her face/jaw area which has been a genetic issue in our family. We are hoping to continue a long term working relationship with Ideal Image!

2022-03-14Be careful of this place. They will bait and switch on you. They show pictures and sell false promises and cannot deliver. The rep. called me sold me a package for cool sculpting to freeze away fat from my stomach. When I showed up for the procedure the nurse told me that the rep sold me the wrong package and what I paid for could not cover the diamond shape procedure and I would have to pay more money. I told the nurse that I am not spending anymore money, so she should do the procedure on my lower stomach only I had the procedure done and was told that it takes four months to see results, I noticed that almost four months there were no changes to my stomach. I went for a follow up and the nurse asked me if I was happy with the result and I told her no. She tried to sell me another package telling me that I need to pay more to see results. I was disgusted and very upset because I spent over $2000 and my stomach was still looking the same. I was dismissed without any further resolution. I am out over $2000 and my stomach is still the same. This is to let others know that they should be careful before spending their money with this company. They will give you one price and when you show up, they will try to sell you more, they are very deceptive.

She took time explaining the procedure including what to expect both during and after the procedure and the treatment process and made me feel completely at ease. Would definitely recommend!
