IHOP in other cities:
I purchased food to take out for my family. When i arrived home all the pancakes (5 sets) were burnt. I caked them about it and spoke to a supervisor who said I would be refunded. Its been almost 2 weeks and I never got a refund. I will take my business else where from now. I didnt feel appreciated as a paying customer.
Had an excellent experience. Church Ave on this side of town is densely populated, but Im glad didnt let it deter my decision to eat here. The service was TOP-NOTCH professional. From the greeter Ayesha, to Henny (my server), to the manager (Ashley). This is a well-trained team and Ashley keeps this place running smooth. When the restaurant went from empty to packed, it was all hands on deck - cooks, kitchen staff, even Ashley - helping the servers by getting the drinks and bringing out plates of food so customers didnt have long waits. The Mothers Day balloons sprinkled around the restaurant is a well-contemplated special touch!Restaurant is well kept. No dirty mop smells. Food was ok. Ordered the IHoppy chicken & pancakes. Chicken was too salty for my palette, but hey, it was a cheat day!
The only thing I like about ihop is the flavor of their pancakes (and theyre cooled off by the time they arrive at my apartment), but even thats mediocre. They use the cheapest bacon, sausage, and other products/ingredients to insure that they make a huge profit. They could use better quality/tasting foods/ingredients and still make a profit, just less. Im not happy with this place and certainly not impressed. I occasionally get their food delivered through Grubhub. I make better pancakes 🥞 than they do. I would like to recommend this place but I cant.
As you can see I really enjoyed my food, iHop doesn’t miss a beat. The only issue is that service isn’t as great as it should be. When I came it wasn’t to many people , one waiter and he seem to struggle a bit with three tables. It took a while for the food to come out but he was really nice. He said he was the only one taking orders at the time. And it looked like it. The food is always good and comes out HOT! Overall decent they can do better.
Had a hankering for quick pancakes and the need was met. Service could have been a tad faster but overall good service, waitress was friendly enough (NYC standards). Checked on when only when needed (not overbearing thankfully) and was nice and timely with the check. Oh I had the tres leches pancakes...they didnt have quite the tres leches flavor but it was a good attempt though, still tasty.
Ever go to a place that you know is looking to die but just cant get the will up to take its own life? That is this location of the iHOP. Two eggs, sausage, toast, ONE hash brown, and coffee, SHOULD NOT BE $18.99. NO WAY THIS SHOULD BE THE PRICE, YET IF YOU GO TO THIS PLACE IT IS. Why would anyone go back to this place a second time when they were LITERALLY CHARGED THIS MUCH FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN GET FOR LESS THAN $6 ANYWHERE ELSE?There is no discussion about ambience or service, the place was COMPLETELY EMPTY when I went and yet it still took the server 10 minutes to even acknowledge that I existed. Also, youre NEVER going to dine alone, the massive amount of flies in this place will always be your dining companions. The coffee used to come in a pitcher, NOW you get a single use to-go coffee cup. The only thing they had in terms of creamers were French Vanilla creamers. When I asked for anything besides this I was told nothing was available. Even the milk I was finally given was 2% skim milk. Why is this place still in business? HOW is this place still in business? The fact that they literally charge SO MUCH MONEY FOR BASIC ITEMS is beyond amazing.$18.99 for ONE CUP OF COFFEE and ONE BASIC BREAKFAST??? This isnt the Ritz Carlton on 5th avenue in Manhattan. This is Church Avenue in Brooklyn. THERE IS NO REASON THEY CAN JUSTIFY THIS COST. NONE.Do yourself a favor, DO NOT GO HERE.
I will NEVER order from ihops again and I would probably never eat at the ihops on church ave brooklyn because it looks like they dont put care into cooking/preparing the meal you pay for. How is it that i order the french creme brulee pancakes, and all the ingredients for the pancakes are not on the fking pancakes and are seperate from the pancakes like condiments as if it were ketchup and garlic sauce from the chinese food spot. YA BASICALLY GAVE ME REGULAR PANCAKES. I did not use the ingredients (creme brulee) ya gave me because it was too cold and hard to even eat, it should have been cooked with the pancakes. Instead they went straight to the trash. Idk if its ihops standard to have the pancakes delivered like this (my first time ordering pancakes ever) or if its management thats not caring how the cooks prepare the food but i wont be fking with this ihop again and ima make sure i tell everyone i know.
Front Hostess is rude. People were on the waitlist and left. They eventually came back so instead of putting them on the bottom of the list he put them on the top of the list so the wait went from 15 mins to 45 mins and he never said a word to the other people waitung until I questioned him. And his sarcastic response was yeah I have to work on my customer service...Ill do that. He shouldve communicated to the few of us here waiting that the wait time has changed. As well communicated to the people who left that they should leave a phone # or lose their spot. They were large groups. I know customer service doesnt exist anymore so this just another reality Check. And your entire back of the restaurant is empty.
It was my first time at this particular branch, it will be my last. The staff was kind, but the food tasted like garbage. The food was tasteless. I have eaten at other IHOP before, food was great. What has happened to this branch. I will not eat there again, neither would I recommend it. IHOP is not what it used to be. Tasteless cold food, yuk
Food is nasty. I order stuffed french toast combo eggs and hashbrowns, son had grilled cheese sandwich and fries disgusting. I taste the bacon flavor in hashbrowns and eggs. My french toast was cold and fries was over fried and grilled cheese was awful. Only thing was ok was the hot chocolate.
Its a chain, so the food is, for the most part, consistent with other IHOPs.What could be better is the consistency of the service and overall cleanliness. For example, I had to wait 10 minutes in the afternoon on a weekday to be seated because the host is responsible for taking takeout orders and the phone rang just as an walked in. That should not happen. What happens during breakfast or dinner rush? Not to mention that the host was visibily uncomfortable being on the phone with a line of customers staring at him waiting to be seated. Thats a bad situation the management has put him in.Another example is that the 3 or 4 times that Ive been here, tables are never really clean, I always have to ask for water, and they always seem to be out of one element of whatever dish I order (the last time it was the pablamo sauce for my spicy pablano omelette).
Service is so bad in this place the manager was an idiot, the server did not know she was doing, she got the order all wrong and wanted to argue about the food I was paying for, the place was nasty the table right next to us was full of dirty dishes and glasses around on the table garbage and chairs and on the floor the whole time we sat and eat nobody came to clean it until I took pictures!
To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. While the store look a little narrow from the street it was deep on the inside with lots of seating and space for social distancing. IHOP was suprisingly clean did not look run down. The food was decent and the waiter was superb, he was patient and explained the different menu options, we appreciated the information, I would definitely come back again.
Ordered for pick up and got notified that my food was ready . As I went to pick up my order they told me it wasn’t so I waited 30mins more as I tried to go in to check again security cursed at everyone and told us to just cancel our orders and was pushing people out . this was truly unprofessional
It can be a hit or miss. We went on Halloween during the afternoon it was about 6 tables only seated of course spread out to maintain social distance. I havent had ihop since the 1st day of quarantine. The server Corey was really cool and I didnt hear my dad complain once (hes a cook so he thinks hes a food critic). I felt that the food was really good.
Well...I miss pouring my syrup on my pancakes and drinking from a real coffee mug...but I am happy that we have a bice clean one in Flatbush that is easily accessible.Food was great.Server was beautiful, helpful and funny. *Adilaya? Before you hit Flatbush have a bite!
Workers stayed in the back the whole time talking loud and playing music while customers waited in the lobby calling and screaming for service for over 15 minutes . At one point a older lady had to walk to the kitchen door and scream for someone to come out front and take her order
I made an online order this morning to surprise My Wife with a Valentine’s Day breakfast with the kids. I ordered about $75 worth of food and was asked to pick it up at 9:40 AM. I arrive to the location on time was asked my name and given a large bag which I assumed was all of the food ordered. When I got home I was missing two of the main entrées approximately $30 of my meal. This location is approximately 3 miles from my house so I tried calling the number listed and no one would answer so I can make them aware of their mistake and get a refund. I didn’t drive back because parking is insane / almost impossible at this location.Thank you Ihop for messing up my valentine’s Day plans and stealing my money, with your staffs incompetence.Truly disappointing..
The waiter was less than helpful and wasnt willing to work with me on changing up the salad for my diet. It took an unreasonable amount of time to even be asked about our drinks. After we did get our drinks it was probably another 10 minutes before I could get coffee.Positives: the hostess that seated us was very nice and helpful with accommodating my seating requirements but that unfortunately was not enough to make up for the service that followed from our waiter, Leonardo. The food was fine, but the service definitely wasnt.
I ate with a friend today. The pancakes were delicious, especially the strawberry flavored ones. The pancakes were served warm, and I barely waited . The waiters constantly asked if everything was to our liking which I enjoyed and the price was decent. I also enjoyed the environment. Overall, I had a great experience.
I love this place! Everything they serve is of great quality. My favorite item are their Swedish crepes with dulce de leche/caramel sauce. Ashley who is one of the managers is one of the most professional and sweetest person I have ever met in my life! She is very kind and goes a 10,000 miles above to please your needs as a customer!
Went in for the 58 cent panniversary pancake special. Pancakes were fresh and still nice and hot when they came to the table. The waitress was so gracious and nice even tho thats all I ordered..I still left her a nice tip even though my bill was only 63 cents. Will definitely come back..😊
Okay, its IHOP! That why theres the high rating. But on the other hand, the waiting and waiting and waiting everywhere you go, theres the waiting and the lack of the word Expedite? Seems to have taken on another meaning ...very few places you go to now a days where you can receive speedy services, especially in some of the more popular shopping malls and fast food restaurants . It seems as if the pandemic has an effect on everything and everyone .
Every time I go into this location it is busy but I am ok with waiting a few minutes since the service and the staff are really nice. I get different things all the time and my favorite is the stuffed french toast, its like a huge donut. I wouldnt recommend you eat that every day since diabetes but it is really good. The food is always hot and the coffee is actually decent. Highly recommend if you want a chain food restaurant.
The first (handwritten) sign said that take aways could not be paid with credit cards, the second one that only cards with chips could be accepted within the restaurant. It then took like 2 minutes until a waitress showed up in the almost empty restaurant. Service from then was quite fast and attentive though. Although other customers after me had to wait to be seated as well. The food was ok but it is definitely not a place you can recommend on a daily basis for a healthy diet. There was also too much sugary sauce on the pancakes, at least for my taste.
They are extremely slow. Don’t waste your time. I waited for 45 minutes and still never got my meal. And when I walked out, they wanted me to pay for a drink that I never touched. Terrible service. Left and went to Ralph Ave location and was seated in less that a minute and my food was on the table 11 minutes after. And they were busy.
The waiter never checked on me to see how I was doing after I ordered my food. I gave him my debit card in his hand and in return he put it down on table across from me as if I was sitting across from someone at my table. Poor personal skills. You think I was gonna him you. Oh HELL NOOO!!
Just ordered from here and specifically asked for them not to put mushrooms on my steak. It’s even on my receipt. My food gets here and it’s covered in mushrooms, which I am allergic to. It’s like a total disregard for my health and safety and a lack of customer service. First time ordering from this IHop via UberEats and will be my last time.
I think this is very good value for money. Went here last night and its a lively place - sorta like a large diner with a pleasant and simple ambiance. Staff were nice. Food was very good: had the Brioche French Toast with Bananas and New Orleans sauce, coffee, and eggs with hash browns. All good and total bill with 20% tip would be about $12. Recommended.
The food was good besides the cold waffles that was served to my sister. The biggest disappointment was the service. It wasnt even church crowd busy and the waitress literally got our entire order wrong. She put a double serving of bacon on my sis plate and we specified she doesnt eat meat, she mixed up our coffee orders and never even introduced herself upon greeting us and taking our order. IHOP less focus on on the burger more focus on training.
I was not particularly pleased with my service at IHOP located at 2244 Church Avenue during this visit. The manner in which the server placed items on the table made me feel unwelcome. Typically when I order coffee, the server pours the first cup before placing the coffee pot on the table. This server just put the coffee pot on the table and walked away. I have never experienced this at any other IHOP restaurant before. I was also taken aback with the manner in which my food was put on the table. The server didnt place the plate directly in front of me. I had to slide the plate in front of myself. Additionally, the food on this visit wasnt as good as I am accustomed to. As a result, I didnt enjoy my food or my dining experience on this visit. Perhaps it was because this IHOP was busier than when I normally dine here. It was on a Friday morning around 11:15 a.m.; and I had to wait approximately 45 minutes to be seated at a table :-/.
We were expecting this storm in NY today called Harper, but when we we looked out the window there was nothing, so we decided to venture out and get something to eat. I Hop has everything so it was a no brainier. The wait was non-existent. Ordered corned beef over hash browns, a double BLT and a grilled chicken salad. Everything was good. My daughter doesnt like onions and there were carmalized onions in the corned beef dish, so she wasnt thrilled. But the description did mention onions. Other than that, everything was delicious. Lunch for 3, $60. Waitress was a bit overworked so service was not as attentive. Maybe they were understaffed due to the storm.
I was visiting from Florida I came here fresh off my flight and I was starving. I wanted to order my food to go. There were two young ladies in the front, one of them was on the phone taking orders and the other was all over the place with a nasty attitude and bad customer service. I came up to the counter to place my order and she straight up ignored me, someone came in behind me asking for a menu she said “oh she has it” I know they have plenty of menus in the restaurant. Long story short I just handed the people the menu, and walked out. it wasn’t that deep but if you can’t handle the pressure of working in a restaurant find another job.
This is the second time that I had to order that was wrong the first time I had to order it it was cold this order they totally brought me somebody elses order and didnt want to send my food out even though it was already ready they wanted me to pay for it again if you sit in the restaurant everything is fine ordering from IHOP is horrible
Food is good , a little slow but good only thing is the staff!! Some of the girls at the front are loud and ghetto. Talking about customers and other employees in front of people in the waiting area.. The manager is very nice and I can say hes a people person but their staff need to look and act a bit more professional. Itmay be the hood but it ddont have to feel like it..
Worst experience I ever had at an ihop. I’m not going to mention the servers name but it was a female and her name started w a K. She didn’t check up on me not one time the manager did which I appreciate and it took 20 minutes to get my check. That’s longer then what it took for my food to arrive. If u can ignore this place then do.... food was good tho
Ever since I was a little kid Ive been going to IHOP so many time I last went to IHOP all my gosh it was good I like how they have a vegetarian menu as well you know as as they always have been doing they cater to everyone whether youre vegetarian or not and the food is excellent I never got sick sick or allergies I dont know what are they doing to make its so excellent like that they should keep it up and dont change
I went in to give this location one more chance. From the numerous bad experience I had. I walk in to the African American lady standing at the reception. She doesnt greets us. So I asked for a table for two. She still doesnt say anything. Two minutes later, a Latina lady come and greets us. The African American girl seem like she had a attitude. Cause we told the Latina girl that we thought she was going to seat us. And we look at her and she points at the Latina lady while giving us a stank look. Once we get seated. We was asking for drinks and apparently they didnt have sweet tea. I already had bad experiences from this location so I just left after he says that. Teddy greeted us greatly but it just the lack of customer service from other employees and lack of items that made me pissed and leave. I will not be going back ever again. No more chances.
I enjoy going to this IHOP because it is never crowded and the staff is very friendly. They also send coupons via text, and they encourage me to come! Who can deny themselves unlimited pancakes or 10% off a meal during lunch hours. However, the womens bathroom has been broken for at least the last six months so theres only one stall working.
I called a million times no one answered, when I got there it was only one person working, he had to do everything, I knocked and knocked 5 minutes before he came, I cant remember his name but he was a good worker, do better not because I hop is on church ave that doesnt mean you have to treat us like we dont matter
Very slow service compared to other IHOP restaurants. Exchange of unwanted foods is not accepted except for the same category so meat for meat not vegetable or fruit. Other IHOP restaurants offer free exchanges. They really need to get more workers and serve quick. Waiting for more than 40 minutes for eggs and pancake is too much.
This is my 7th visit at this location and never dissapoints. The workers are friendly and courteous they come around make sure good or need anything extra even share a little joke with you. This is the closest location for me so thats a plus. I didnt find the wait for the food to be long although a little extra time is fine because you know your food is properly prepared.
Worst experience ever. So we ordered crepes for pick up, they charged the money and then we waited around 30 minutes for food. After being waiting for so long the lady in the black cardigan came she was like we dont have enough staff to make crepes .Do you want your money back? Like for serious after this long . instead of being apologetic she was rude. If they dont have enough staff why in the world they are taking order. I dont get it. They waisted so much of my time. Very disappointed. One the top of this, employees was arguing with eachother. IHop please do take some action its just not nice. I was definately not expecting this from IHop. I wish I could give them zero satr but they dont have that.
I believe the store hours need to be adjusted. I showed up here over the weekend. This is around 3am and I showed up to a door with a wet mop yellow sign holding the door closed. i suggest going to a diner they were actually open 24 hrs. People travel far with the assumption of certain places to be open based on store hours.
The customer service was some what ok. I ordered a burger with bacon and there was no bacon, the burger was drenched in oil and I had to squeeze it out. I think the manager thought the person serving us was too slow so she stepped in. When I paid I NEVER received my change, I am still not sure what happened to it but its ok I do not need to go back there
First and foremost the decor of the location is great. Instead of carpet on the floor they have hardwood floors. The lighting and its hue is set beautifully. It gives a certain ambiance to the dining experience. Unfortunately thats where the praise ends.Walking in the host was friendly and show me and my companion to a booth table. The waitress after a couple minutes of us being seated introduced herself. As we placed our order everything seemed fine. The only caveat was that they wasnt serving ice coffee. The waitress said that they dont serve ice coffee anymore, yet it was still on the menu. My companion ordered the Tropical Splasher. About 10 minutes go by and our drinks didnt even arrive. The food came out and my Pumpkin Spice Waffles werent even warm. The friend chicken breast that came with it was okay. Nothing spectacular. It was seasoned well surprisingly.A couple minutes after the food came out I caught the attention of the hostess who helped the guest adjacent to me and told her me and my companion didnt receive our drinks yet. The waitress instead of the hostess came back with the drinks and apologized. The Tropical Island splasher my companion got barely had any ice as if it was sitting out or prepared in a rush. I had a coffee. The sugar tray that I was given was mostly empty. I also didnt recieve any of those little cream cups that are given when you order coffee. As me and my companion finished our meals the waitress took about 15-20 minutes to give us the check. My companion immediately put her card on the table. About 10-15 minutes passed and the waitress still didnt come for the check but passed us twice. I getting irritated walked over to the manager at the register and told her I wanted to pay. The waitress came processed the payment and gave me the receipts to sign. I signed at the table next to the register. Took my receipt and my card payment receipt.Me and my companion was get our belongings when the waitress hurried over to us and accused me of keeping the signed card payment receipt. I told her that it was on the other table. I felt extremely angered and disrespected by the waitress.I do not think this location is a good one. Hopefully another time I go and theres a different staff things may be better.
IHOP is a family signature restaurant so one is pretty much familiar with the menu. IIm also grateful that theres an additional location here in Brooklyn. However, unless the food isnt prepared well, the only thing left is the service. Our server Uniqua was apparently unenthusiastic and disengaged. When I asked her to warm the syrup up a bit, she looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. I attribute it to maybe fatigue or the time of day we happened to visit. On the contrary, I suspect that shes a lovely girl but whatever the case was, I think is much to be said that franchises may want to incorporate & invest more time into their training for customer service. And if that doesnt work then may I suggest that this generation learn the art of fake it till you make it. Im known to be a generous tipper but I do follow a personal rule when spending my hard earned money in an establishment, I dont pay people to mistreat me. And my tip is ALWAYS a reflection of the servers customer care. Thank you!
This was my second time at this IHOP. The service is ok thats what the 4 stars are for, but something about the food is the same as my favorite IHOP on Livingston street but the taste and presentation is like 1 star . I gave the 2 trys and will not be coming back am sticking to Where taste, presentation and service is 5 stars for me on Livingston street.
Went here for lunch one afternoon. for one thing my waiter had a just want to get it over with ASAP attitude. I ordered a turkey melt with fries and waited about 15 to 20 minutes for it. it sucked. the turkey tasted like it was cooked 2 weeks ago and just left in the fridge. you could smell how old it was. and the cook put some kind of weird tasting sweet fruity sauce on it which made it taste funny. wont be going back here no time soon.
If youre going to sit down and eat your food will be fine. However, if you order to go, which I did using Door Dash, then brace yourself. I ordered 3 eggs 3 pancakes and corned beef hash. I recieved 2 eggs, 3 pancakes, 2 raw slices of bacon and 2 raw sausages. RAW FOOD. Im never going there again.
The service at this place is horrible. The server I had was very rude and would just walk away when we asked for refills on our drinks, drops the check on the table without asking if we were finish or if we would like to order dessert.I guess tips were already included so they feel they dont have to provide good service.I advise you to go somewhere else. The location on Ralph Ave is much better.
Last time I went there, I was really hungry and I just wanted to use the restroom and grab something quick to eat. When you walk in the door, you might think you’re walking into a run down strip club. The front of the place might not have anyone there to assign you a table, you can just walk in and sit yourself. The next problem you’ll notice is that their seats are all torn or breaking down and dirty. If you dare sit down, I guarantee you that you will sit there for at least 15 mins before anyone ask you anything. I have no clue how the people responsible of running that place could let it get that bad, and I’m not even exaggerating the state that it’s in. ITS REALLY BAD, but I can only think of one reason why; it’s located on church ave and when your neighborhood is predominantly black or minority, you don’t deserve to dine in a restaurant that is well kept and managed by people who care about what customer service is. I would not eat here.
I can only speak of the IHop on Surf Avenue in Brooklyn. Love their pancakes and sauces. They have great specials and you can get hamburgers and other varied dishes too that are very tasty. A great location in the heart of Coney Island and the beach. The service is wonderful and even the cashiers are friendly and helpful. The place is wheelchair and walker accessible. I would have given this place five stars but for the blasting music inside. Like the choices of music but the volume is very unpleasant. Might go once a week but for that loud music.
Best thing about this place we always had respectable staff but the food wasnt always good lack flavor or we dont always get everything it says it comes with lol and for some reason we had the problem with waiting long for our food the times we went and it wasnt more than 10 people in there
On Saturday March 11th at approximately 8.15am I entered this estabestablishment and I was in awe of the surroundings. The tables were all filthy and obviously not cleaned from previous patrons. The floor was dirty as well. I did not leave my house to eat breakfast and inhale strong cleaning products that was eminent in the air. The servers excuse was that they open 24hrs and the guy is now cleaning. For a restaurant that is only 2yrs old it needs a face lift because the seats are all torn up and patched up with tape. I will never visit here again.
The Service was VERY poor at this location, I called in advance and STILL had to wait & My food was wrong and cold. I understand its church Avenue Brooklyn, but that doesnt mean the service should reflect the reputation of the location. This was My First time at this location, and I dont care that its close to Home... I wont be returning.
They closed off seating in the restaurant very early, took forever to serve, ran out of a lot of options .... first and last time going there for me. My bf who had never been to ihop vowed to never return so i was very disappointed that his first experience was so negative
Second time Uber Eats used this establishment and they mess the order up..They stated they ran out of syrup..Like as if I work there plus yall couldnt send someone too supermarket down the block for syrup...We order 3 pancakes and one was. Cupcake pancakes no whipcream..one syrup and no icing..Then the guy had the nerve to stated Get your money back feom Uber Eats This guy UNPROFESSIONAL abd RUDE!! Then he said Uber Eats at fault but they used ypur establishments as a tool for ppl to eat.. Then he said It was so busy So take ppl order virtually onlone as important as the customers in front you and onlie virtual customers give you more business than the ppl inside that why its place
They were rude and disrespectful and on Christmas on top of that they claimed they stop eatin at 3:30 we got there 2 minutes to 3 and was rudely turned away like seriously who does that so dissatisfied with ihop I will never recommend the Flatbush location Ever!Aweful hostess
Soo Im currently at IHOP and I tried to order a French toast combo with out meat and substitute it with any non meat selection(eggs, hash). I was told its not possible... I would be charged for something I wouldnt receive. Unfortunately I will not be coming back to IHOP. I dont know of anyone that like to be charged for something theyre not going to eat. On top of that...I was in the waiting area for about 7 mins until someone came and took my order to go. While sitting here,I just watched two people leave because there is no front desk personnel to great, seat or take your order.
Always pleasant. I come from nj to have breakfast with a very good friend of mine she has always suggested ihop in brooklyn where she lives. All workers at ihop always very pleasant especially for early sunday morning would recommended to everyone. Waiters and waitresses great
I never write reviews because I have better things to do with my time. However, I will definitely make an exception in this case do to the lackluster service provided by the classless staff. Some dude without a uniform who looked like he was a bouncer from a club was where the host should have been. He aggressively told us to take a seat while we waited for some next chick. Eventually this girl walks out scratching her head and laughs when she sees us sitting. At first I was confused as to why she was laughing but then the bouncer/host says I know you were enjoying that food. She says I sure was then signals us to follow her. We then set for 10 minutes in this empty ass place watching waiters text before someone actually walked over to us to take our order. Apparently texting and cleaning tables was more important than taking orders of actual customers.
I always come here. But on xmas day, me and my friend come an hour before finding out youre not taking anymore orders and we sit for 15 minutes waiting, then yall tell us. Yall extra super duper TRASH for that. Theres no reason why with a whole hour left, you couldnt serve two ppeople. And we were waiting to find this out .TRASH TRASH TRASH, Merry Christmas 😒
The wait is toooooo long for dine in and take out. Another time I was calling to do take out and was put on hold for 45 min. Called back and had to wait 20 min smh. Mother Day I went to dine in and had to wait 10 min for a party of 3. The problem was when the young lady said I would have to wait another 30 min for my food, when asked to speak to manager he was in the kitchen helping the kitchen crew smh. At this time I do not support this iHop on church ave.
The workers see u bent in wud Rob ya Ras, that was my experience at this particular place, but it happens when u put ya guards down, so lets just say I wasnt that frickin bent u seen 💰 but that what it was just 💰 its the principal dont say miss ya bag in say I left it at your register n left singles n took grants n Benjamins like I dont now them n notice when they gone.. worse bday wkend,,

2022-04-09The service was very slow and the staff isn’t friendly. When I ordered my food the waiter gave me a hard time because he didn’t know about a special. The staff often talks more then doing their job which the service here very slow. I wouldn’t recommend, they’re much better ihops out there.

2021-09-18The server was really nice the food was not all that plus it is very overpriced There was no straws to use to drink with the bathroom was very dirty there was no toilet tissue tissue The answer was extremely watery There was hardly any customers in the restaurant most of the servers were in the back sitting area playing on their phones and eating There was one server even taken a nap But like I said if I had to give one thing that was OK the server was friendly

2021-09-10It was my first time there and it was simply amazing! The service was on point. The food was amazing as well. Done to perfection. The area was clean and the manager was very much accommodating and ensured that all was running smoothly. I definitely intended on having breakfast there again

2021-08-10My first time at IHOP. The wait time for the food was longer than I would have liked, especially considering that the restaurant was nearly empty. However, our hostess was so gracious and attentive that the wait almost did not bother me.The food was good. I definitely will be back!

2021-08-25So this experience was a mixed reaction. This branch was very understaffed with only one greater and one waiter.the wait was 20 minutes and we were seated the waiter did the best he could no drinks till we were almost finished,no napkins, and I was being bitten by mosquitoes or whatever insects. The food was good, but the insects was flying in the food,It took forever to get the check poor guy.left with tons of bites on my feet.if you look closely you will see the bug on the food

2021-08-13Take Out. Food was correct and warm. Tasted a little different then usual but was ready on time and still tasted good. This is a three star due to the mold i had in my fruit cup. I had tasted a sour grape and upon inspection i had found another old and moldy grape. I tried to call because I wasn’t sure what i should do in that moment but when i did i wasn’t answered. Overall food is fine and take out timing was great but i am never ordering fruit here again.

2022-05-11Great respect for the all the workers at or near the door. Poor spacing as the delivery pickups and the delivery app pickups plus those trying to order takeout were all jumbled together. Management seemed caught off guard by the volume. Which would be crazy since its getting warm in NYC plus it was Cinco De Mayo weekend and it was mothers day. Still after a bit of a wait I was able to get my cinnastack and my mom enjoyed her breakfast.

2022-06-22My nephew wanted IHOP for his early birthday breakfast, and as usual they did not disappoint. The take out service on Church and Flatbush was very fast but accurate. We enjoyed our meal, as usual.
