We decided to stop by here for breakfast, there was no wait time we were seated right away. They had a special going on with endless pancakes so we ordered that as well as a steak omelette. The food was excellent, the waiter was very attentive and.got the orders correct. Ill be going back here again when Im in the mood for pancakes and omelettes.
Sunday brunch is always crowded, but happily there was only a 15 minute wait.We havent been here in a long while so the changes to the menu were a surprise. A lot of tempting surprises to try. But you cant get to them all in one day. So, today hubby got Split Decision breakfast and was happy with his unadventurous selection.I got a cold brew coffee milkshake and chicken and waffles. The milkshake was delish. Chicken was crispy and tender. Waffles were lukewarm and lacked butter. No big deal. Still good.My only complaint - this is a very sticky place. Very sticky. And sticky is one of my tactile nightmares. Nonetheless well be back. Salads and Monte Cristo wrap looked good.
Went to IHOP in Freeport. Place was mostly empty when I arrived at 9:00am..We were the only ones in the reception area, and no one acknowledged us until 10 minutes later. Finally got seated, and waited 15 minutes and out server never acknowledged us. Mind you there were only 1 other set of guests seated. We had enough and left. We went to IHOP in Westbury. We were seated right away. The server was quick and efficient. Thank you Westbury IHOP.
I just had the worst experience here on a take out order . The manager should help the person in the front who is new instead of leaving her by herself . They messed up my order . It was so bad and took an hour to get that I just left even though I didnt even get everything I ordered .my pancakes are burnt. I am only writing this review because they messed up my little ones food
Hey, my husband and I didn’t feel like making breakfast on June 27th 2021 , so we decided to go to ihop on sun rise highway, it’s was a 45 minutes wait ,so we drove to Freeport OMG !! Bad mistake, first it was a little slow, worker was hanging around and on there phone, talking to each other, place was so dirty , the young man who seated us through the utensil on the table and not even noticed what he did because he wanted to continue his conversation with his Co worker’s , workers was sitting on the counter top , we was waiting for like 15 minutes before someone attended to us , the food was not bad but that’s was our first on last time, needed improvement by staffs .
Been coming here for years, but have never sat down to eat, always take out. The food is usually ready by the time I get here. Only sometimes I have to wait, but never for more than 5 minutes, even when busy. They always provide all condiments without having to ask, my order hasn’t been messed up (yet), and the food has always been good. I like this ihop.
I havent visited since the pandemic. I didnt have a problem prior, so I was disappointed with the service returning.The waiting area was extremely crowded. There didnt seem to be a limit established or anyone to enforce it.The manager was great, but extremely overworked with the crowd.The waitress didnt speak English well, which made the experience a challenge. Some of the orders came out late.Again, the gentleman on duty who managed definitely made sure he helped correct everything that was incorrect, including the bill that had a few incorrect add -ons.Perhaps we caught them on a bad day with limited staff, but I consider it poor planning to have a small staff on a holiday.Food was fair.
DO NOT DINE HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Our party waited almost 40 minutes to be greeted at the front of the restaurant upon arrival. The restaurant was nearly empty and we were told many times they were about to come help us, but still waited 40 minutes until a member of our party had to go to the back to get the attention of a worker so we can be seated. We waited another 20 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. Once we received them, about 10-15 minutes later, we ordered and waiting another 30-40 minutes to receive our food. We had three pancake orders that came burnt, impossible to cut with a plastic fork. We had an entire order of pancakes that was completely forgotten. Keep in mind, the restaurant was nearly empty at this point. There was maybe one other couple that came and left while we were there, so the kitchen was NOT backed up. Our waiter was also trying his hardest, he is not to blame for our horrible experience. When we asked to speak to the manager, the fake manager (Ill talk about this in a moment) sent out our waiter and sarcastically told him, you got this. We confronted him. The manager should not be hiding. He was very sarcastic when speaking to us. And said we came at him aggressively when simply telling him how poor the service had been and the issues we had with our food. He spoke very informally, and when we asked his name he had to think about it, he told us his name was Adam. Nice try, Andy. We heard his coworkers call him Andy multiple times. He did a poor job playing manager, I hope he doesnt speak to any other parties the way he spoke to ours. We also heard him return to the back and say we were crazy. When we left he yelled have a good day! sarcastically while laughing with his coworkers in the back. I couldnt be more upset with this service. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I hope the manager sees this and knows his/ her workers enjoy playing manager.
Fantastic place! Breakfast all day, how could you go wrong???!!! My personal favorites are their pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, grilled chicken sammich and their T-Bone Steak breakfast and lunch entree. Folks, their T-Bone steak is a hidden secret gem. It ranks up there with some of the best steakhouses. I know, I have been to them. This location has been here fir a while, I think 15 Years. I remember when they were building it. There used to be an OTB at that location. It is very busy, however they move things along efficiently and quickly. Staff is very friendly, accommodating and efficient. Facilities are kept up-to-date and clean. Well maintained and clean bathroom. You would be silly not to stop by.
The service was quick and friendly the food was good I had the Strawberry French Toast Combo .The problem was with Covid the pepper shaker was very sticky and needed to be cleaned off when I picked it up it was so bad I had to clean it with hand sanitizer then clean my hand again, that was my only complaint they need to wipe the all the table items off after each guest.
After being told there would only be a 15 minute wait we waited for over 45 minutes to be seated. after being seated we waited another hour for our food to come out and my sons food came out another 20 minutes after. After speaking to the manager he ran in the back to hide so that he couldnt give us a discount for the inconvenience
Worst service ever. I would give it a zero Star but that is not an option. They are so unorganized and the people they have working there lacks working morals. They have a kid at the front looking at you like whatever. The phones are ringing off the hook and this kid just stood there picking it up and hanging it up without even seeing who was on the phone. I asked for my order and waited 30 mins before I was asked again why I was there. Then a server asked to see my online receipt because they dont have it. They couldnt tell me that 30 mins ago when I got there. Other people there were waiting for orders a long time ago. Who ever owns this location needs to wake up and need to hire all new respectful employees that know how to conduct business and deals with customer service. I never had an issue like this with the Oceanside location. Thats what I get for changing. Stick with the Oceanside location. Freeport Ihop get it together. You will not have my business nor my familys business.
I use to live right down South Bergen a few years ago & this was my favorite place to go for breakfast on Sundays. I returned today and I was sadden to realize I’m not coming back. Not only is the place is unkept, service slow, silverware dirty, coffee terrible but the food was on point so that why I gave it one star; it was the only thing that was stellar but I won’t be coming back.
This is my regular IHOP. I can come here when its crowder and the service is usually good. Unfortunately, I did not have that experience today. The server did not get our order correct. I even showed her the word chocolate milk on the menu to avoid any confusion since we initially requested a milk shake and then changed to chocolate milk. She said no so I figured showing her the wording on the menu would help it didnt. She did not bring our entire order as she missed another item from the original order.They seated another group directly behind us. There are no partions at the individual tables. If you are not going to social distance your customers than give us a booth.Very disappointed in the service today.Not there best definitely below expectations.
Don’t even order online from there unless you are willing to waste your time! The last time I ordered online was 10/02/2021 @ 11:06 am, the order was supposed to be ready by 12, well is not until 12:31 pm that I was able to grab that order! No respect for timing at all! It literally took 1h20+min to get a short stack pancakes (3 pancakes) ready! What will I be if It was a lot more items!? And this is not the first time it happens!
Asked for a sirloin tips meal without mushrooms and my wife got it with mushrooms. I am allergic to mushrooms. They messed up both orders and gave us each others order. They swap plates that still have mushroom juice and I have a reaction. They said the will take it of the bill and I still have to pay for the drinks instead of them recognizing i have to now go to pharmacist and get some medicine. Totally missed the mark on customer service. The manager Mike has no empathy or consideration of his customers health.
The waitress was really nice an attentive to us, However the restaurant was dirty. The partitions that divides each both because of COVID was dirty looks like it hasn’t been clean in days tables were dirty ( & it wasn’t crowded at all) floor was dirty also. The restaurant wasn’t busy so at this time they should’ve been cleaned. Service was at 3pm 3/19/21
I LOVE ihop, but i was so disappointed. the wait time was reasonable for a sunday morning breakfast. the menu has drastically changed eliminating many plates. they forgot to give us utensils for our food and then gave us 5 for a party of 6. the didnt give us enough straws, 5 drinks, 4 straws. they didnt bring us utensils for our desert. finally, we had to hunt down our waitress to pay for the bill. we waited at least 10 minutes to do so. over all a very sad experience. :(
My husband and I were there earlier this week, and it was fine. Today my husband went with both our kids. There is a large waiting area and my husband found a space on a bench out of the way waiting to put his name in. There were some people in the waiting area that were there before and came in after him. He waited to put his name down and sat down with the kids on the bench. Someone a few minutes later came and told him to wait in the car. They were sitting quietly on a bench. The people who put their name in after were not told to wait in the car. No one else was previously told to wait in the car as the waiting area had people. Not overly full but more than one party was waiting. Not sure why they were singled out, but we will not be returning. You cant make rules apply to only certain people.
Okay let me begin. First off, we came in and wasnt greeted. After waiting to get a seat, we finally sat and waited again. There were 2 couples who were seated after us. The waitress obviously had alil bit much on her plate because she seemed to take everyone after us which left us to wait even longer. We didnt even end up eating here. We just left. I wouldnt recommend this IHOP location and dont even let me start with the parking outside. Youd be better off parking far away and walking to another place to eat. Just horrible service!!
I love ihop but theyre working on a limited menu.. Right now they dont have all the different syrups. The food tastes delicious.. We were there for breakfast... A little bit of A-line not too long.. Who doesnt like I hop..i gave one less star for the limited menu. Our server was on point...very nice just forgot to offer extra coffee
I was very disappointed, that of I have ordered food to go, they expected me to pay for utensils and napkins, they literally put nothing in the bag. Why would they assume I was going home. I would just have cooked my own food at home. I have already patronized your business why do I know have to pay for cutlery. I would have ordered thru a food service if I was gonna be eating at home 🤦🏽♀🤦🏽♀
If i could give this 0 stars i wish i could. We waited so so so long and very the service at the front desk was very harsh and rude. the lady at the front desk was so rude and skipped over my father and attended the other colored people and payed no mind to us. very very rude and harsh service !! POOR customer service ! not satisfied at all !
Horrible customer service experience. My bf and I ordered for takeout this past Friday night. When we opened up the food this is what we got. We got raw uncooked pancakes that looked like someone stepped in them, then placed them in a to go container that was not damaged. We got burnt mozzarella sticks with no cheese in them because they all exploded all over the other appetizers. Not to mention the container to the appetizers was completely opened and looked like someone ate from it. We got missing bacon, uncooked hash browns and extremely cold food. I called IHOP to see if they could do anything because this food was non-edible. When we called we were told there was nothing they could do. When asked if there was something they could do or someone else we can talk to, they put us on hold for 20 minutes with no one answering and we could hear you talking about us in the background. Horrible experience, I would avoid IHOP and give my business to a local diner that needs the money and treats their customers right.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Today my friend and I waited over an hour and still never got our food, it was the first time we ever had to walk out. The place was pretty much empty and all the workers are just standing around on their phones or doing nothing. This has happened MULTIPLE times but this is the first time that Im leaving a review. This iHOP fell off badly
I havent been here in 3 years. There is a reason for that. Service was less than par. Girl seated me in some corner where apparently the servers dont come much. When I finally placed my order after waiting 15 min, it took another 15 mins of waiting. No coffee either. Just people walking by left and right. I finally got up and left and havent been back. This was on a weekday and not a busy time. They used to be pretty good.
I went here on June 29 and ordered the steak and eggs. It came up to around 30.00 I left a 3.00 tip. I checked my bank account today and saw I was charged 102 dollars! They stole approximately 69 dollars from my account!!!!!! I in courage anyone that used a debit card here to go back and check you accounts!! They probably stole from you too!! They steal money! Never ever go here. Dont even go to pay with cash because if theyre willing to steal, you cant even trust what theyre doing to your food if they have an issue with you for any reason! The last at the bank said it was probably a mistake. Well, it was the biggest mistake they could have ever made.
This location has good food and good space and had come with my family on a Saturday night. The service at our table seemed unusually slow for a restaurant that was less than half full. The family at a table near us had their server return to them three times before our server returned to take our order.
Lousy service allowed us to sit at the table and forgot we were there. After a waitress arrives we ask for the drinks she takes and they never gave me a spoon to mix the coffee and it was hot. I get upset. we get the wrong food and not to tire them much in the end we get the wrong bill and the same thing happened to the other table.Also when the food came it was cold, I do not recommend going to this place. visit others but not this one ..
Service is always a bit spotty from not having silverware or syrup on the table, orders coming out wrong. Waitress didnt even check up on us and had to wave her down for a refill which then was never fulfilled. When youre paying a dollar for a sprinkle of cheese or toast when its offered as if it was included, I expected more. Not to mention the rude women loitering in the front selling flowers. The food at least, was good just not worth the price.
Food was okay not great restaurant was very clean and had covid-19 partitions everywhere also they served with plastic silverware and everything already prepared to throw in the garbage so theres no bacteria spreading. Did not like the fact that when you substitute turkey for pork its a 2.99 charge as well as a cup of tea is 3.99 and a cup of coffee is 2.99 none of which is included with your breakfast. For 2 9.99 Mills the bill was over $30 outrageous. The tax was less than a cup of tea and still over $30.
Been to this one many times and am sorry to say I was very disappointed in the service and food this day.We got there and not crowded, ordered food and people who came after us with groups larger than us as 4 received their foods etc, as we searched for our waiter who finally showed up and with our food mine was cold. Try eating cold crepes. Anyway he was not attentive and tried to offer his reasoning why slow and thought I was one of his friends and was like Im sorry baby.... who are you calling baby. Spoke with the manager and he was no better. They had to comp some of our food as I still never got my reordered crepes.
I’m truly disappointed in the customer service in this location. I go to ihop quite often for brunch and since my regular location in massapequa was closed, I went to this location. The servers were disorganized and very inattentive. This was an issue previously and I spoke with management who asked for another chance. I decided to do that, so I chose that location yesterday on off peak hours and it was not busy, probably 10 tables filled and there were probably about 8-10 staff members hanging out near the kitchen. I was seated immediately only to wait 18 minutes to be greeted. Management did not intervene. When the waitress came she was unapologetic and said she was busy. She has walked by our table prior to us finding out she was our waitress twice and did not utter, “one moment”. When our food was served, it was not warm. The milk was curdled in my coffee cup. Never again will I go to that location!
Got a hair in my eggs. They quickly replace it but i wish that was the only thing. They initially placed us at a dirty table that was never sanitized. 3rd the food was cold and my sons orange juice was watered down and disgusting. I dont think ill be going back there anytime soon.
Monday morial day it seemed that it was a lot of people just sitting and talking over in the corner by the kitchen no one really got up to come and wait on us and then finally a young lady came and gave us our drinks and we still had to wait for a food order someone came to take the food order and we waited over 25 minutes for the food he came back and said that it must have been some kind of mix-up but a food would be coming then I finally got our food too much playing around and no one on the tables like they should be and its time to paint inside of IHOP.
The line and seating were quick. But the wait for the food was horrendously long. From where we were sitting, I could see the kitchen clearly. And I saw our food sit there for at least 10-15 minutes. Finally we get our food and its cold, the manager of this IHOP had to give us our food, NOT our waiter. I actually had to return my food to get it warmed up again, and my friends chicken was encased in this shell of bread, she had to crack it open. Usually a waiter will ask if we were finished and need a check. Not them. They kept walking back and forth not paying us any mind. Overall
THIS visit to IHOP was ok. Was definitely better than the last time we went there. Usually the wait is long even when its not too busy and the time before this visit our waitress tried to put someone elses check on us because they had walked out on her. It has been a couple of months since that visit and since this is the closest one we decided to just go to this one. Our waitress, Cassandra, was very helpful and attentive.
Everytime we come here there is always an issue! Once they didn’t have any soda. Then an employee brought her young child with her to work who was running around the restaurant. Tonight people were just hanging out in the lobby who clearly don’t work at ihop. They seem to be friends with employee in the front! The waitress was terrible. She only had 3 tables and the place was dead. She basically threw our food at us. She shouldn’t be a waitress since she is lacking customer service skills.
I placed a take out order online and after waiting about an hour at the store , they gave me my I was happy but soon as I got home there was 13 $ sandwich missing in my order calll the store . I was told the manager was going to call me back never happened. Horrible service please make sure you get what you paid for ..
I ordered online, got there and they forgot my toast in the bag, luckily the woman that worked there caught it. Another woman was already there because they forgot pancakes in her order. As I was sitting waiting for my toast a woman came in and asked to place an order because she called 6 times and no one was picking up. Come to find out the phones were down and the staff had no idea. My food was ok, toast was cold when I got it though.
During a period of no rush whatsoever, my party of four waited about 1.5 hours for our table and food. We asked 6 separate times what was the problem and were disregarded each time. The service was so unbelievably bad, we considered the possibility of a prank being played on us. Extremely disappointed.
I think the last time I was here, I had the same server Mamdouh. Fast and friendly; on this visit, the restaurant could have used some TLC (floors a bit unkept, and I had to clean my booth seats), but they may have been coming off a busy lunch shift as halfway during my stay, things were being taken care of.
Jus ok, I went 2 hrs before closing on a Saturday night where they seemed short staffed with just a server and a hostess. my hash browns and my husbands eggs were cold but we blamed ourselves for coming late. 2 other tables of 4 ended up coming in after us so it became really busy for them and unfortunately service became slow and my dining experience got worst
Always a great happy time at IHOP. They wait is a lil long as it is at every IHOP I go to but you know what you are getting into when your on your way. Service is good and food is good. Never cold. If you sit in the middle of the place it’s a lil uncomfortable because it close together. Not great for getting to know someone else. It’s usually to loud. But that’s what you get with a diner. Great for food
A clean location with a friendly wait staff. We were kindly greeted as we entered and our waitress, Jessica, was kind and attentive. Our food arrived in five minutes, even on a busy Saturday morning. Props to the kitchen staff!The food was prepared exactly as we specified. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and didnt require salt or pepper (due to the already salty-tasting hash browns). The pancake was perfect and the french toast was good (couldve used a little more powdered sugar), although I preferred the pancakes.
It was free stack day. There was hardly any wait staff. Tony was excellent ad well as kayla. I think that was her name. Between the two they sat and served at least 20 people. The food was horrible it made me sick the rest of the day. They need the old cook back, I can tell by the food they have a new cook
Nice place to go to eat. The food was good but a tad up in price than I though and for it being IHOP for what I got, and what some other places of similar will charge. But on the other hand about the same as some others may charge you. Note, overall cheaper than that of varying range amounts to spend at more upper scale restaurants.
The waitress took forever. Then she only brought two drinks to the table (there were 4 of us). My other 2 friends waited an additional 10 mins to get their drinks. After I recieved my drinks, I had to look for my own straw because the store was severely understaffed and my waitress was no where to be found. We then waited an additional 15 mins after receiving drinks and our waitress did not return. I asked for the manager. He apologized and began to help bring orders to the table. I order an omelet and I must admit this was my first time ordering an omelet from ihop. It tasted like fake box eggs. I was very disappointed. We were done eating for over 20 mins when waitress reappeared for our check. My friend and I told her we were splitting the bill equally. After an additional 8 mins of waiting the waitress returned to say she didnt bill right, and her manager cancelled the order, but she needed to bill both cards again. Needless to say, my friend was billed twice. I will never return to this Ihop.
Not busy (1 table of 3) , 45 min for the wrong dish. 20 min for replacement w/original now cold fries. 15 min for new fries. Tried to give me $2.00 off, said thats what he can do. I insisted he remove both drinks because my husband waited then ate his meal alone. Been coming since it opened. Usually EXCELLENT Meal and Service. Never Again when its slow.
Im not the type of person to usually write reviews, but my dining experience at this ihop was just horrible. The person that took our food order seemed competent, until she came back to re-check our order as she forgot one. each order came out at different times and one of the orders were incorrect and another was forgotten. when it was time to pay the bill i noticed my to-go order was missing....so had to wait for that as well. I would be more understanding of these mistakes if the place was packed and busy but it was not, you could play a game of freeze tag in this place thats how empty it was. i would rather have all my teeth pull with pliers than to dine at this ihop again. i hope this was just an extreme occurrence of Murphys law rather than just a normal day of business at this location. To top it all off they finally brought out the to-go order and forgot half of it!!!!!!!!!
Order from this location often, always is under staffed, when calling to order multiple calls before you get an answer never anyone at the desk to greet you, the place is very chaotic, and when picking up orders you wait long periods times, when most the time your order in right in front of them, as today that I waited 20 minutes for my order. manager apologetic but sorry only goes so far.
My friend and I went to the Freeport ihop this past Sunday (crazy, huh?) Well there was the usual expected wait but it was our waitress that was the best! Kudos to Miss Deja! She was very professional and bubbly! I am VERY picky when it comes to my food, but she made sure it was completely correct before she brought it to me! Everything was absolutely perfect and I ALWAYS have to send something back! Not this day! Thank you Miss Deja for starting my day off great!
We went on free pancake day. The waitress who served us clearly didnt want to be at work. Her attitude was terrible. Pancakes were mediocre at best, eggs were bland, and you could taste the rawness of whatever the hell they cooked it on. Wouldnt recommend or go back. Sorry
I visited this ihop at approximately 5pm on june 22nd with my wife. we each wanted a strawberry milkshake.when we walked in no one was there except two for two young female employees. they were talking to each other whole sitting in booths adjacent to each other.we stood there a a few seconds and my wife said hello at which one of the female employees asked what my wife wanted without getting up. my wife said she wanted to order 2 strawberry milkshakes. the employee said they had no milk for the milkshakes to which my wife answered if they had enough for one milkshake. both simultaneously said there was no milk for the next shift. how does ihop not have milk?to me they just didnt want to get up and do the order.i wont be returning to this ihop.
I love to shop local, however if I cant be accommodated for allergen/dietary reasons I will spend my money elsewhere. They do not make substitutions, but I have been to other Ihops who dont have a problem doing that, so thats where I will be going from now on. Even the manager couldnt make it happen. 😒 um news flash.....your the manager😔.
This is a real time review. I just walk out from this IHOP because I have been waiting there for 30 minutes without a waitress even asking us a question. There was at least 6 workers there just walking around and not addressing us. We were seated next to a table that have been waiting longer than us. They are still inside. I hope, atleast they get seen soon. This is bad. They didnt even bring us water. This place is very unprofessional. I hope someone in upper management read this. If not then someone. P.S. it wasnt even that crowded.
First of all, you should know they have crepes. There is also a 55+ menu. I took advantage of each of these over my last two visits and was very pleased. I will certainly return, probably for pancakes or French toast. There are so many choices! Then it will be time to order crepes again!
I will never go back. 1st Waitress needs more training 2nd brought the drinks to the table gave me what I asked for find. Then she walks around on the other side of the table to give the other guests their drinks. She spills a whole glass of soda on the young man. 3rd why does she need to be told that she get the soda off the floor. 4th instead of returning with a dry mop the is too wet. The soda was just spread all over the floor where we was sitting. The food was a total mess and keep it nice. I requested an IHop buger not knowing the recipe was changed in the making of the burger. It was explained to me. I apologize and stated that that is not what would like to eat. 5th Then requested a regular cheese buger with swiss cheese.She took the buger back fine. 6th The kitchen took the buger apart took one pattie off the pancake with I did not know that how the IHOP buger was made. I was given that same buger back with no cheese. I requested cheese please. Then bring me two slices of cheese on a small plate. The fires were cold. That just my food and two other people in the party food not up to standards. Show some love in the food that is being prepared. 🤔 waitress never returned to the table to if everyone was oka with their food.
We had an exceptional experience at breakfast today. My friend and I were at the IHOP in Freeport and our waitress was named Fanny. She was great, she spoke clearly, she was patient and respectful. I cant say enough good about her. Having been a waitress for many years I know very well what makes a good server, so when she came back shortly after serving our food to see if everything was ok, I was EXTREMELY impressed. My daughter wanted pancakes for dinner. What better place than ihop, right? We went to the ihop in Freeport N.Y. was greeted by a delightful young woman and seated. The store was not busy at all. Waited 10 minutes for some to come and take my order. While waiting for our beverages to arrive, two Hispanic families came in, were seated, orders were taken and beverages were delivered while my daughter and I are still waiting. The server looked at us, and never made a gesture, apology, or otherwise to indicate he was coming. I proceeded to leave the establishment and asked to speak to the manager. An older white couple comes in and is seated and guess What? Were catered to immediately. So the manager actually stated to me that maybe the server forgot we were sitting there. And that is acceptable? My only given compensation was for her personal service and coupons. Really? So I asked her if the service was poor because We are non white, non Hispanic? Of course it was stated that it wasnt. This is the third time this has happened.
Staff member lieing saying that incomplete parties can not be seated after watching someone come in and complete a party of two. Watching larger groups that arrived after my party of two was complete be seated. Before even sitting down I was already irritated and left after a 30min wait. As the point was to be there before the rush and now it was pack.
That country fried steak was salty & it wasnt fresh but frozen, we had no condiments on our table at all, the floor & table was sticky from syrup that wasnt cleaned properly & we asked the waitress to get us something to clean it with or someone to clean it. She never did Itll be awhile before i go back
This IHop was larger and more open than the traditional free standing IHop you might be used to. It was clean and well maintained, with plenty of tables and plenty of room to accommodate large families or groups. The service was prompt and polite. The food came quickly and was delicious since nothing beats breakfast food at dinner time ;) The IHop menu seems to be continually updated and the selection is very extensive anx available for any meal of the day.
Most Ihops I have been to have pretty good servers. This one in Freeport is ok . The pancakes are very good. The over easy eggs however were under cooked ,the egg whites were kind of runny. The water glass wasnt clean , it only had a little speck of food on the outside baked on by the dishwasher likely. But it bothered me. The other meals were good and the other dishes and glasses were clean. I would go back. ☺
Me and my family walked in, got our seats and waited. A spanish family came after and sat next to us. After 2 Minutes of waitinga latino waiter walked past us & looked at us as he went to the family and took there order before ours. i then grabbed a manager and explained to her what happened & all she has done was get us drinks ( yes we paid for it ) Disappointed .
Place my take out order at 11:54 a.m. stack of 3 pancakes and 2 sausage links. Its now 12:27, I ask for my food its no where to be found. Its extremely busy today, yet not one sign of any manger visibly on the floor. The manager is supposed to be present for leadership, I should know because I am one.
This IHOP is terrible. Firstly we were greeted by a host that had a huge booger in his nose. While walking us to our seat he proceeded to wipe his nose with his hands several times, and then had the nerve to hand me and my bf menus with the same hands. The customer service is very poor, the waiter(male with hair tied in a ponytail) that we had did not remember our orders, he did not remember when we asked for certain condiments. I had to remind him SEVERAL times about what weve asked for. The food was cold and disgusting. This by far is the worst IHOP that Ive ever been too.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY COMING HERE, KEEP DRIVING AND FIND ANOTHER IHOP!!
The worst IHOP I ever visited. I took over 20 min to get a cup of water-down coffee and another 33 min to get my breakfast. Then on top of that had to wait 10 min at the casher to pay my bill. Totally disorganized. Would never visit this location! Very disappointment at IHOP management!

2022-01-16UpdateThis location heating does not work. Servers often seem distracted by cell phones. We ordered unlimited pancakes and refillable drink but could never find our waiter so we only had one refill and one extra order of pancakes and left. The utensils were disturbing, blemishes all over like they weren’t washed at all, looks like they just threw it in a bucket of water, pulled it out and served it.

2021-05-26Always loved ihop. But service at this location was not great. We were on a road trip and and decided to eat there for one of the days. We had a hotel booked 5 miles from this location. Server rolled her eyes at me when asked for extra plates. We had two small kids and they wanted smaller plates to share their pancakes.

2022-02-19We were seated promptly and the waitress came over to see if we wanted coffee or tea to start our breakfast. She returned with the coffee and we placed our order. Our breakfast orders were brought out quickly. The scrambled eggs were delicious as well as the pancakes, sausage, bacon and Rye toast! Definitely, I would recommend this IHOP.

2022-05-25Clean restaurant, in good repair, friendly service. Ordered a Belgian waffle & double-blueberry pancakes with 2 coffees. Food arrived at the table hot and was tasty, but the bill came to $34, which blows my mind! If you dont mind paying that amount, then add another star to this review!

2022-04-04We had a very good experience. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I had the swedish crepes which were delicious and my husband liked their Gluten free pancakes even though they charge $5 more them.

2022-07-09This Ihop consistently messes up orders when done for pickup or delivery. I went into the store to place an order; I ordered the bacon temptation omelette, to be substituted with turkey bacon. I get my food, get home and there is no bacon at all in the omelette.What sense does this make??Things like this have been happening for a long time. I don’t understand the problem here. Are they just hiring anyone off the street who couldn’t care less about the service they deliver?

2022-05-01Where do I begin...As I stood there waiting for about 10 minutes, a party of 5 entered for done in. The young guy IMMEDIATELY begins to converse with the family of five. I said excuse me I was standing here before they arrived. The family of five stood the same. The young guy waves his hand nonchalantly and replied I will take care of you when Im done seating them! The family of five looked a little nervous, but followed the guy to their seat. When I asked if there was a MOD, he said no!. Had I not waited too eat brea3, I would left.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
