IMilky - Midtown in other cities:
Got the Premium Black Tea with Soy Milk and the Coconut Taro w/ Oat Milk. Both were delicious. They used real taro and the black tea flavor was really strong and delicious. They used Chinese soy milk which is way different from American store brands but imo a lot better.Came out to like $18 for both which is definitely the most I’ve spent on boba. We did get the large tho but non dairy milk is extra charge for all my plant based folks out there.
Went there for the first time ever and tried one of their seasonal drinks (strawberry matcha in the snowman cup). The drink was really good and the customer service was outstanding. Went on Dec 20 around 5 pm, so whoever was working cashier at the time, stay awesome!:)Went back a couple of days later to try the brown sugar bubble milk and it was just as good.
I appreciate the efforts here to actually serve quality drinks using quality ingredients. They use things like real taro, and you can tell they put care into crafting every beverage. The food is also done well too! I enjoyed the rice ball and popcorn chicken.Staff are always very friendly and interactive. There are a 3 tables or so for sitting in and the store itself is pretty small, but most people order for take-away anyways.
First time trying I got a tempura onigiri and jasmine boba with lactaid! I love the customer service, and the speed and everything was perfect. The tea is a little strong but no complaints from me! I wish they had included a little more bubbles- and that in general the prices werent so steep (namely the food)- but knowing everything is fresh and not artificial is reassuring! Cant wait to go back.
Yum! Awesome rice balls and side dishes. The prices are reasonable. The fried chicken was amazing. And they have a lot of creative onigiri combinations so you want to come back. Also they package the rice balls so the seaweed is separated, preventing it from getting soggy. The rice was under seasoned but overall it was a great meal.
It was a bit on the pricer side, however, it was definitely worth it due to the quality! Overall delicious, not to mention it’s super cute when you get their limited edition drinks (Hence the snowmen. ⛄️) If you have less of a sweet tooth like me I would highly recommend the matcha Christmas delight since you can add the least amount of sugar. If you like to play it safe, you can’t go wrong with the Brown Sugar Boba! 🧋P.S.Be prepared to wait in line.
Ive never been interested in trying bubble tea but I was drawn to this place. I tried the Classic Bubble Milk Tea (which happens to use of of my favourite tea - Earl Grey) and it was so good. I loved the fact that you can customise sugar you want and also how much ice you want (I dont like ice in my drinks because I think they tend to dilute whatever Im drinking)! The Classic Bubble Milk Tea was $6.25 for the Medium and $6.75 for the Large + Taxes. They have a lot of variety (Green tea, black tea, lemonade, soy/oat milk tea, espresso, food and drink combos) and a little area to sit inside and enjoy your tea. The cane sugar and the fresh milk did make a lot of difference. Hope to visit again soon!
The brown sugar bubble milk tea with boba was very fragrant, the taro milk tea was very light + delicious. I wanted to order a strawberry milk tea with boba but unfortunately they dont offer that drink in the large size hence why I switched for the taro milk. There was a bit of a line and a twenty minute wait but it is black Friday. The server was very helpful considering how busy they were. The venue is not really a dine in place, there are only 3 tables available and they are very close together. I appreciate that this place focuses more ok quality, for example they use real ingredients and fruits instead of syrups. The taro has not been sweetened, its all natural. Its a bit on the pricey side but definitely dont mind paying a little extra for that extra quality.
Great service but I’m not so sure about this tea. Did anyone else get the “premium black tea” and think it tastes a lot like coffee? Like half tea, half coffee. Bit odd. (I can’t tell if the sediment at the bottom is powdered tea leaves or coffee grounds.)PS I also got the honey lemonade and it was excellent
Stopped here wanting to try boba while I was in NYC. The first time it was closed so I cane back the next day- great choice. The brown sugar bubble milk was tasty and customizable (sweetness, ice level, milk choice). I also grabbed a fried chicken rice ball, which was wrapped perfectly and tasted fresh. The service was great, and by the time I got back from the restroom next door my food was ready. I’ll definitely be returning!
First timer. The mango fluffy is more like mango water. Totally not what is advertised. And on top of that i Ordered at 3:19 and wasn’t ready till 430. Overall, this place is over rated. More about the pretty plastics that the contents of the actual drink. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
Amazing service, the staffs are so nice. their drinks also never disappoints me but i just cant get over their friendly service. they also have this new thing from make a wish foundation where you buy the wood heart for $1 and write whatever you want and hang it inside the greenhouse. they also have another new thing where they serve panna cotta in an egg! so cute and taste really good!!!
No idea how this place is so highly rated, its cute in the interior but their bubble tea is questionable ; I havent thrown out a boba drink before but this is the first cafe to make me do so. Their milk tea is diluted and their boba is overcooked and not fresh at all. Would not recommend to anyone
We ordered DoorDash from here during our stay in the city and it’s a solid spot. My strawberry milk drink was exactly as expected with 50% sweet. I also ordered a mango green tea and loved the fresh mango bits with the tea. They have small combos of meal that was really worth it but we didn’t opt in to try it. The rice balls weren’t great, with too much rice and nothing unique to the fillings. I’d stick to ordering boba here or their panna cotta egg drinks. The egg drink was so cute with its own container and tasty panna cotta, but not sure it’s worth the $11. Will try other drinks next time I get a chance to return to this spot.
I was clickbaited by the snowman bottle since I was looking to add it to my boba cup collection but Im happy to report the drink was tasty. Boba was one of the most tender, soft bobas Ive had with a good hint of sweetness. I do prefer a more bouncier chew but this was still good. Cashier was super friendly and welcoming. He even reminds you to shake your drink. There was a line outside as they only allow one party to order up front at a time and theyll call customers from outside in. That makes it seem a bit more packed but it does deserve that. The classic milk tea reminded me of a nice Hong Kong style milk tea.Friend got the mango milk and wow, it really had an authentic sweetness. Not completely added sugar or artificial, but rather sweetness from mangoes. Tasted fairly fresh as well.Main complaint is the price point. Its definitely on the higher end for boba and feels more like an indulgence rather than a common purchase. Especially the smaller size which can already be rather hefty.
As soon as I entered, I was welcomed very warmly and asked what Id like.I asked for the Brown Sugar Bubble Milk with less ice. She mentioned that it might taste sweeter if we reduce the ice but I love sugar anyways so ... not a problem for me. It was ready in a jiffy and I was told to shake it 15 times. This is something really different and I really enjoyed my experience at the store and with the drink. Too pricey for me to get daily, but definitely a great afternoon pick me up.
Such a cute place to have some boba and a snack or light lunch! The staff was nice and knowledgeable, the outdoor seating inside plastic tents is very xmasy and fun to experience~ they even brought us a mini heater, although the tents already cover you quite well from the cold. The boba was tasty, as sweet and icy as we ordered (you can customize) and the riceballs and chicken were smaller than we expected, but very tasty. Loved all 3 sauces (didnt take the cilantro one, no thanks).
I’Milky was one of popular brown sugar bubble tea brands from Taiwan and famous for their high quality milk and soy milk. We were extremely excited when we heard they opened up a new store in NYC.Their decor is cozy and cute but with limited seats available. Their line up space in front of cashiers is narrow so you might need to wait outside if it’s crowded. We tried their brown sugar bubble milk ($6.25 with tax) and it was great. Their bubble cooked with brown sugar was chewy and not too sweet; the milk was creamy, thick and rich.

2022-05-03I love it! It’s really good! I had their fresh taro milk with pudding and it’s good since they didn’t have to put any sugar in it, so you could really taste that taro. Staff were nice, quick and efficient. There’s also a seating area if you just wanna chill and enjoy your drink. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other stuff.

2022-06-28I love bubble tea and I heard that this place has great bubble tea so I wanted to try it. I usually get passionfruit green tea,but they didn’t have it so I ended up getting a fresh coconut taro milk for $6.75 and a peach sunset with Bubba for $7.50. They both tasted good, but it was quite expensive for medium size which to me looks more like a small.

2022-06-09Their egg drinks with panna cotta was pretty good but it’s seasonal and quite pricey. Mango was my group’s favorite out of the 3 we tried. Other drinks are also decent, taro milk uses real taro. I wouldn’t go out of the way to get it. Would come back to try the rice balls next time.

2022-04-22Small shop but super cute. They have great bubble tea, I had the Mango Green tea. I love how you can customize your drink in terms of how much sugar and ice you want. I was lucky to order when there wasn’t much of a line & I got my order quickly. Staff were all friendly. 10/10 recommend!

2022-05-27This was my first time walking around this part of midtown in a very long time. I was surprised by how many new eateries opened up in the area. I stopped by to get some bubble tea as a snack and ordered a medium Premium Taiwan green milk tea with bubbles. This was one of their stronger drinks on the menu. The milk tea section of their menu was laid out so you know which tea were the strong or weak. I got regular milk, 30% sugar, 30% ice. Packaging was cute, with the rounded bottom and they seal the top of the cup for you and add a lid for ease in transporting and to avoid any spills. The drink itself was fresh tasting but a little watered down for my taste. Perhaps the ratio of milk to tea was a little different than what Im used to. In addition, despite ordering one of the stronger teas on the menu, I could not really taste the tea flavor, you really have to look for it while drinking. Bubbles were slightly sweet and cooked to chewy perfection. While i wasnt ten out of ten impressed with my drink, I do want to come back to try their taro milk and their food combos.

2021-10-08Great bubble tea, I got the Coffee Milk Bubble with some sugar and all ice. The ice stayed pretty good one an average day but I cant imagine this lasting a long time if it was extremely hot. I also tried the Strawberry Green Tea which was really good even at 50% sugar.

2021-10-03Good things first... Warm welcoming staff, helpful tips, good variety in menu and amazing quality of tapioca pearls. Now the not so great.... The matcha milk wasnt as nice as most other places. The flavours felt very artificial and didnt have a good body to the whole milk. Their sign on the outside is a bit confusing. It tells you not to come inside till they call?? Considering everything, the price is definitely on the higher side by 20% or so.

2022-05-21This is a small shop on a busy venue. I made the mistake of coming around the hour after classes and there is a huge line. Theres three cooks and one person manning the cashier and orders, so their wait times can be pretty long. The food is decent for the wait they make a majority of their components fresh to order, including their boba. Their lunch combos are probably what I recommend most since you can change the size of the drink with it and you can get fried chicken and a riceball.I got the pork belly riceball, fried chicken, and the barley milk tea with boba (costs 75 cents extra for toppings). The riceball was good. It is made with a thinner cut pork belly that was sautéed, so it is not soft, but rather chewy. The fried chicken has a taste similar to that of ViVis fried chicken, and uses dark nuggets. The barley tea was also good, with a reminiscent barley flavor and creamy milk taste. The boba was a good and soft texture, not too chewy.Overall, its not a bad place for lunch in the area. The bubble tea is what makes it a bit more filling, since the food portions are a bit small, but thats because its meant to go with, well, bubble tea.

2022-06-25Having tried most of the bubble tea places in the city I can confidently say that this is one of the absolute best. Would strongly recommend their Matcha Latte, Barley Milk Tea and Taro Milk (they make a big deal out of it being made of real taro but it does make a huge difference). If you get a combo, I would suggest their spicy pork riceballs, though sometimes they can be a bit tricky to unwrap.

2022-06-17This is a cute little space in the middle of the city. Its small, but if you get a table, its a nice place to take a break. The combos are really good bang for your buck. Recommended.
