After using them today when I was in a bind and strapped for time, I noticed the poor reviews and decided to share my experience.Me and my whole family; my mom, wife and kids, had to get to reservation with little time to spare, and I happened to see the place on 14th st. and just went for it. There was only one employee working but he was accommodating, kind and to the point, as I was already in a rush. When I returned for my vehicle maybe a couple hours later, he was hard at work doing his thing, but got to me right away. Went down the ramp and was back with my vehicle in no time.No extra charges or any of that nonsense. No long wait times, even though another two customers were coming in. The bill was what we agreed when I dropped it off. Now, Im not a wealthy man by any means, quite the opposite actually, I gave him the extra five that would be my change because I received flawless service at an NYC parking garage for the first time in my life. That man made a stressful family outing a bit easier, and I thank him for that.I would absolutely use again, and encourage others to give em a shot. If it doesnt go well for you, then hey, maybe Im wrong, or maybe its you. 226 West 14th Street, they sure as hell are better then the place that smoked in my car and charged me more than what they said that I went to two years ago. Or the other Place, that locked up two hours before they said they would and left me homeless for a night in the winter of 2020.So when you leave a review, leave detail, so when people read it, they can tell what your saying happened that was bad and what the result was and the difference between an accusation and an event. Like if it was so bad, then wouldnt you want people to know the details of the story.Great service, would use again.

Reserved space 5 days prior on the ParkWhiz app. Get there and the attendant says he does not have space for me to leave my car- for the length of time I already paid for ( 9am to 8pm). Very dismissive- nothing he can do, not his fault, no way to track, yada, yada... I was told to move the car at noon and find other parking. In Chelsea... I tried to reserve another space through the app but of course, nada. What I did find was much more expensive because of the late booking- $51(up from $35). I rush back (to 14th/7th, from 18th/9th in the weird sweltering heat of 72° that day) and the same attendant says Oh! I have space now. You can leave the car. He had my cell #., couldnt give me courtesy call?! That would have been sooo nice.There should be some failsafe between the garage and the ParWhiz app to know whats available before you take my money and guarantee a reserved spot.I pitched a fit with ParkWhiz and received a $15 credit for my aggravation.

Absolutely a scam. You pay for prepay parking in an app , if ur one minute over a 30 minute wait window of time You paid for they charge double. Never park here. Never book here.

Horrendous customer service on the corporate end. They lowered my monthly rate and a month later I got a phone call telling me they were raising my rate back to what it was and I was responsible for the discounted month. I know for a fact customers in there pay as little as 400-450 a month and they have raised me to 591 a month. Furthermore I was told by the rude lady by voicemail if I didn’t call back, my monthly would be cancelled despite being a customer with an account in good standing and never late. If I could switch companies I would, but they are the closest to where I live. Absolute disgrace of a company.

The few times Ive been here the attendants were friendly and efficient. The alarm for arriving departing cars and people is so horrendous, though, that its almost worth going somewhere else. I use the zipcars here.

Place is a rip off. They charge more than advertised. Guys working there are extremely rude and unprofessional.
