I am very happy with Imperial Granite & Marble! Everyone was very professional and did everything just as they said they would do, and on time. BEST seams ever! Perfect installation.Imperial Granite and Marble is definitely a quality company to work with. We had visited their showroom February 2020 and were greeted with friendly and great customer service from the start. Amanda was helpful in explaining the process and showing us the quartzite we were interested in. We had a different experience than others have, or will have, because our project fully took place during the quarantine of the pandemic. We had to rely on the Imperial team to select our slabs, as we were unable to see them in person. We then had incredible communication with Crystal during the time when the showroom doors had to be temporarily closed. The installation went smoothly and was done with precision. We could not be happier with the seams – they are practically nonexistent. We definitely recommend using Imperial Granite and Marble.
We just had our new granite double sink counter top installed into our master bathroom, and we love it! The entire process of picking the granite out through installation could not have been more perfect. Imperial Granite is fantastic to deal with, they are patient, accommodating, and on time with delivery. The stone is absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to go back to Imperial Granite to pick out the next stone for the remaining bathrooms in our house!
Imperial Granite did a perfect job on our granite counters and exceed our expectations! Walter & Crystal were very easy to work with. They were very responsive & always available for any questions we had. Within 2 days of inquiring about granite, they were at our home to discuss our options and give us a quote. During the design process, they offered some great suggestions and never pressured us to make the sale. Their prices were very competitive, straight forward and there were no hidden fees. The installers were very professional & left our home cleaner than when they arrived. Imperial takes pride in their craftsmanship and their customer service, and it shows! We hired Imperial to install granite counters in the kitchen and the bathroom vanity top. Design work and installation were very professionally handled. Due to a few issues related to our construction project (not a problem with Imperials granite installation), we had to call Imperial twice for service. They were very gracious and helpful, which is truly impressive customer service. The level of service that Crystal and Walter provided, even after the sale, is something you dont often see!
We had new granite counter-tops put in by Imperial Granite at the end of February and we were quite pleased with the job they did. Walter and his staff were very easy to work with, they were very professional, courteous, timely, cleaned up after themselves, and did a fabulous job! The counters look great and you can tell that paid great attention to detail! Walter even gave me a suggestion that proved to be the best-looking part of the whole kitchen. Price-wise, I shopped around at 3 other local places and got a much better price from Imperial Granite, when comparing same level granite, than the other places. And the best part was that while other places had a 2 - 3 month wait for install, Walter was able to install within 3 weeks! Would definitely use Imperial Granite again and would recommend them. Our granite kitchen counter tops look fantastic. All of our expectations were met. This was a result of meeting Walter, the owner, and realizing that he and his company were best suited for our project. This was after we had interviewed and received quotes from six other granite and solid surface fabricators over a period of a month. From the time we first met Walter, it only took him and his staff 2 weeks to complete the fabrication and perfect installation of our granite. Walter works hard to maintain his reputation as being the best fabricator and installer in the Greater Rochester area, while keeping his prices competitive. Imperial Granite was the right choice for quality, professionalism and attention to detail for my kitchen remodeling.The hard part was to select the right quality and the color of the granite slab that would fit my kitchen the best. I had made a selection of 5 different styles and Walter Romaniv, the owner of Imperial Granite took time to help guide me to find the best slab that would fit my budget while maximizing quality.I was looking for a very professional and detail oriented craftsmanship. After seeing Walter working with his team in his shop, it was an easy decision!It took a couple of days to receive the 2 slabs that he ordered from Italy, then 2 days to shape the slabs,On 7/15/2015 his 2 employees came to remove the old counter top and sink, and installed the new granite and under mounted sink. The team was very professional, taking care of every detail and even cleaning my kitchen better than it was before.Where is the joining seal of the granite slabs? You need a magnify classes to see it. The polished granite slab is even better than the quality I was expecting with vein and depth inside, no imperfections in the stone and in the cut.My experience with IMPERIAL GRANITE was outstanding. Walter and his team are here to satisfy the clientele from beginning to the end of the process due to their excellent craftsmanship and customer service.Next year I will order a granite table to match the new counter top and I will choose Imperial Granite!
Walter is amazing, and very efficient. I had used Imperial Granite for my kitchen counter tops few years ago and his staff installating the granite were very professional and neat.I just had my master suite vanity counter replaced this past week with granite from Imperial Granite! They are the best. You are wasting your time if your are shopping all over. This is the only place to go!Walter provides great advice and suggestions too.

This is the second purchase of granite countertops. Last year we did our bath and now our kitchen. Walter is great to work with, he measures and installs so quickly, unlike other big box stores it takes 8 weeks or more. The installation they do is wonderful and high quality. Prices are as competitive as anywhere else and even better. We are very pleased. I have and will continue to recommend this company.

We visited several Granite installers before ultimately choosing Walter and his team at Imperial Granite. If you are looking for a team of designers, fancy showrooms, high prices, and hidden costs I wouldn’t suggest Imperial Granite. Walter does not use the smoke and mirror approach; he chooses to let his work speak for itself! We were most impressed with “No Surprises” during the process. The crew arrived on time; completed the job, and the initial quoted price was the final price. Despite running into several unforeseen issues with our cabinets being crowned and out of level, the crew did not cut any corners and stayed to complete the job. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome our Kitchen, in fact we are having Walter back to install Granite in our Laundry Room and will be having Imperial do our Bathroom next year. Walter and Crystal were great to work with! They were very courteous and helpful. While building our new home, they were one of the venders I was able to work directly with and am pleased wth the time they took to help me make selections and answer questions. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship of their work is exceptional. Our kitchen looks like it belongs on a million dollar home. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and we will return for their service when it is time to upgrade our master bathroom.

When I initially called for an estimate, someone was at my home within a few days. I did a lot of research and comparison, and although the big chain stores seemed cheaper, they add fees for cutting and by the time I hire someone for the take away, install, and connecting the plumbing, it would have cost me hundreds more and the process would have taken place over 3 days. Imperial did it in 3 hours! When I ordered the counter top, they were able to set up the installation within a week. The installers were prompt, cordial, and cleaned up when they finished. I was amazed at how quickly and smoothly the process was and I love, love, love my new counters! I cant wait to have my bathrooms done. I would highly recommend using Imperial.

We decided to purchase quartz countertops from Imperial Granite and we couldnt be happier with their service. Everyone was welcoming, approachable and an overall great company to work with. Our countertops look amazing and the company took time to make sure that we were happy. You cannot even see the seam on the counter and people continue to complement us on how great the counters look. I used Imperial Granite around April 15th of 2015, I worked with a gentlemen by the name off Walter he was very helpful and very easy to work with. I ordered the Granite and he had it in the next week and had it installed right after, his guys were very neat and professional when they were at my house. The pricing on the Granite was the best price I found in Rochester, NY I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to get a good price and good experience.
My review is much overdue as I had my kitchen counters and sink replaced about 2 months ago. I like to give a little time to make sure all is truly good before reviewing. And it is! I am still getting used to granite counter tops though. I thought they would be really smooth, but they are technically natural stone and as such, they do have some rough texture to them. Just putting that out there in case there is anyone else new to granite.I originally received quotes from other companies to replace my counter tops with Formica. That is what I had already, and it was less expensive (so I thought). Even with that I put off the project for some time. Because really, who has money laying around for this when there are so many other expenses in life?I had heard Imperial Granite and Marble advertised on the radio (Kimberly and Beck show). I figured it (granite or marble) must be out of my price range I was looking at. Meanwhile I had obtained quotes from a few other companies. One of which told me they couldnt even quote Formica because they no longer installed it.On a whim one day, I left work a little early and headed into the Imperial Granite and Marble office. Walter greeted me. He was very warm and sincere, and not pushy in anyway. He took my measurements and gave me a rough estimate.I will tell you they have the best price around. Dont even bother with quotes from the other companies. Save your time - just go right to Imperial Granite and Marble! Walters price for granite was not much more than others quotes for formica, and much less than others quotes for granite.Now, we know it is not all about the price. Walter and Crystal kept in good communication with me throughout the process. Walter came and made templates to make sure we were getting exactly what I needed for the counters. I have one odd shaped large section. We needed 1 seam for that. Installation was about a week later I think. It was a very quick process.They men who did the installation were awesome. They were careful and friendly too. There was no damage done to the tile back splash that I already had. Oh and that one seam we needed? I almost forget that it is even there. They did an excellent job making and installing the counter tops so that it can hardly been seen, and even then, only if you already know it is there.The next day, Walters father came to do the plumbing portion. This is one of the nicest men you would ever meet. I had a misunderstanding with the faucet, and he went above and beyond making up for my mistake. He made sure everything he did with the installation matched what I wanted done.My kitchen is beautiful. Thank you to the entire team at Imperial Granite and Marble.

As a realtor I see a lot of contractors and its hard to fund great ones. I have seen his work with multiple clients I deal with and they all speak highly of them. It was my first time personally using them and I am so impressed with how great everything was , not only was the turn around super fast , all measurements fit perfect, the installation was so smooth I can’t see the seam it’s flawless but also it was the best price and quality product . Walter suggested a Blanco sink and it made all the difference in making the kitchen even more modern and in style !! I highly recommend them !

Very very wonderful to work with. We love our new countertop. We called around and didnt get much of a response from other places. Either it would take for ever for installation or they werent prompt about getting back to us. We called imperial and they got us a quote right away installation was the soonest. the guys came in and did a great job, the counter top was installed so fast and they did an amazing job. They also quoted us the BEST price. Family owned and highly recommended. I have already recommended friends and family!!
Very happy with my new granite counter tops and the service from Imperial. Lowes quote was nearly double theirs. Imperial could do my large island in one piece, which other places said needed a seam, as it was too heavy for installers. I shopped around and this place has best value. Service was great too. They arrived when they said they would, and did a follow-up visit when I had a concern. Highly recommend this place.
We got quotes from every countertop business in Rochester. Not only were these guys the best price, they had the fastest lead time on install and the best selection in the entire area. Could not be happier with the outcome of the project. Install guys were great to work with as well.

We decided to take on an extreme DIY kitchen remodel, during Christmas break no less. After a week of work, with electrical, plumbing, drywall and cabinets done, we were planning on being kitchenless for another couple of weeks based on what we had heard about the 2-3 week turn around between measuring and installing. Walt gave us the good news that we could have the counter installed exactly one week from the day he measured! What incredible turnaround time. We went from old kitchen to new kitchen in 19 days because of Walt and his crew and our new quartz countertop is stunning! Great look, great value, no hassle. Thats the way to do business!

We used Imperial Granite & Marble to install new countertops in our kitchen. Every step of the process was professional and straightforward, from picking out our countertops, to measuring and templating them, to the final install. And at a considerable savings compared to other fabricators! They even came up with a plan so we could reuse our former quartz countertop in our daughters kitchen, so shes happy, too! We researched a few places around Rochester for Absolute Black leathered granite counter tops as part of a kitchen renovation and received some quotes. At a family get together, we mentioned the kitchen project/granite research and immediately had three (3) people bring up Imperial with glowing recommendations for quality work and excellent pricing. We did a bit more research and decided to try Imperial. The price quote was significantly better than other places. Based on the price, the three (3) recommendations and additional research I did, we awarded the job to Imperial.We were not disappointed. Absolute Black is somewhat unique. It is the densest/heaviest granite and I had read conflicting comments about maintaining it; most said that it should not be sealed because it is not porous/doesn’t allow for absorption of topical treatment. A few comments indicated that it should be sealed. When Walter (the owner) came to do the templating, and I asked him about the sealing issue. He was very knowledgeable about Absolute Black and provided me with a deep level of detail The net of it is that no sealer or enhancer should be used on Absolute Black because it won’t absorb anything because it is so dense. Topical treatment will actually cause problems - the counters will become greasy and show chalking/rings/marks. Clean with dish soap & water.Finally, the quality of the work (templating, installation, fit & finish, clean-up) was excellent. Combined with Walter’s professionalism & knowledge of the stone and the excellent pricing, Imperial Granite+Marble is a great value. Highly recommended without reservation!

The nightmare of finding granite, and having the work done the way We wanted it at a very reasonable price, turned into a dream when we found Walter and the team at Imperial Granite and Marble. Walter is the owner and comes to your place personally to measure and template. He also cuts and polishes the stone. His install team of NFL sized linebackers arrived and made short work of a difficult job. Very professional all around and I cannot recommend them enough.

As a Home Depot pro installer as well an in home Appliance service person who sees 120 kitchens per year or more. I have seen my share of stone tops and performed a number of counter preparations as wellwand it is something to take seriously Since the average granite countertop is over 1 billion years old. No kidding on that . Theres another concern installers and installation are the keys to a great or not so great counter because the stone needs to be properly set. 75 percent or more of the counters I see have at least one flaw in the installation and setting of the stone. Most local companies are decent but

Dont waste your time shopping around. Go to Imperial first. They have great prices and workmanship was grade A. They are a customer oriented company which you dont see tbese days too often. We waited 20 years to update our kitchen . We choose Imperial because they were kind, affordable and treated us proper . Best decision ever! We are so happy with our granite counter tops. Our kitchen is all that we hoped for and more. The granite is beautiful and the slabs you see in the warehouse are the ones that go into your home so there is no trying to guess how it will look with small samples.The seams are nearly invisible. Had a granite vanity top cut from stone. Since it was an odd-shaped vanity, they asked if I could take the vanity to their office to ensure a proper fit. No problem, and the vanity top fit perfectly. Missed target date by a few days, but it was worth the wait. Crystal and Marta were great to work with.

My wife and I are building our own home...we went to see Walter at Imperial...they did EVERYTHING he said they would in the time he said he would...cannot beat his pricing and quality of installation!...the installers were very careful not to damage anything and were very courteous and professional...you can go to fancy places to buy your granite...but...you will jot talk directly to the man...at Imperial you will speak directly to the owner, not a secretary or salesperson!...no big fancy showroom keeps overhead and costs low...but believe me the quality of work does not suffer!...we are very pleased to have had the experience of working with Walter...this is the second kitchen we have done...we would advise everyone we know looking to put granite or other stone tops in to go directly to Walter at Imperial...best part was he had ours installed within a week of meeting him!...100% satisfaction guaranteed!

2022-05-27When we decided that our kitchen reno would revolve around having a waterfall edge countertop, we sought out the advice of a few local contractor acquaintances and their unanimous response was always that there was no one better in town than Walter and his team.My partner and I showed up to the showroom with no appointment (be better than us!) and were still met with absolute cheer by Amanda. She provided guidance as to what was where and when we needed more assistance narrowing down the options, her knowledge was very helpful in making the ‘final’ selections. As if this wasn’t enough to have me over the moon after months of other horrible showroom experiences, they were able to schedule us for on site measuring way faster than we anticipated- a huge help to our project timeline. When Walter came to measure he was entirely professional, knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. Our dream was to have Calcutta quartz but the install posed a few challenges. First off, the prominent veining in Calcuttas can be notoriously hard to align over long runs- an issue because we have a straight 20’+ run with a corner ‘L’ turn… we knew there would be at minimum 2 seems. Add a 10’x5’ island with waterfall edges at either end and a matching backsplash- we knew this was a tall ask going in. Walter was open and realistic about the expectations. I’m a perfectionist, but also a fairly reasonable person- so based on his recommendations and the experience up to that point, we knew we were in good hands.A week and a half later when his team did the majority of the install it was a rainy Rochester day, so everything was muddy and gross. I mention this because they even took extra care at protecting the new floors with drop cloths they brought and by being really considerate of how they were working (the slab sizes required them to go through a LOT of soggy grass that day and they still left the house immaculate)The final result is hands down the most beautiful installation of this type I’ve ever seen. I do not know what magic Walter used to get the seems on the long run to be invisible, but he did it!I absolutely recommend their level of craftsmanship and the experience of working with them-go forth and get yourself a gorgeous new countertop!

2018-04-18I was referred to them by my cabinet contractor. They did my quartz countertops for my new peninsula and bathroom vanity. They even took the time to match the grain on the back splash. Perfect size cuts and spotless (no scratches).Imperial was 1/2 the price that I was quoted from another local supplier for the same job and quartz manufacture.Walter was honest and informative. His wife was also very nice. My only issue was that it took several calls before Walter got back to me.You cant go wrong using them.

2017-05-22Unbelievable service and product.I cannot begin to say enough about the team at Imperial Granite & Marble. First off, they were extremely quick to accommodate our date of installation and were able to accommodate 3-4 weeks quicker than most of their competition. Secondly, they are extremely competitive with pricing, being lower than everyone else I got a quote from.Most importantly, the job they did was impeccable. The pictures speak for themselves. We had a large project, including a makeup vanity top, double sink vanity top, trim pieces, and a combined shower bench with under-mount tub surround. This area required 5 pieces and 5 seams. The seams are nearly invisible, even the angle cut seam to allow a tilt to the shower bench. I cannot speak highly enough of the work the team at Imperial Granite & Marble did to help finish our bathroom.

Skip the big show room & save the money with this family owned business. They also provided us with our beautiful new modern looking sink & great recommendation from the installation guys to not use the baseplate that comes with faucet to add to our traditional but modern look. Their staff both in the showroom and during installation were very friendly, clean, and extremely knowledgeable. The owner, Walter, who came to do my quote and measure was very nice and easy to talk to and offered a wealth of information about stone, granite, quartz, etc... The price I paid was for my Granite was the lowest of 4 companies I received prices from and the choices of colors and materials were endless. 2018-12-12We hired Imperial Granite and Marble to do our commercial office kitchen at the former Kodak training center. This had to be perfect. Everything from the time we selected the quartz with Crystal to when Walter installed, surpassed our expectations! Walter is a gifted craftsman. The large job that he did is a showstopper. There is no other granite / quartz company that we would ever use after our seamless experience with Imperial. Would recommend them without an instant of hesitation.

2016-12-15Fabulous! Wonderful! Beautiful workmanship-we opted for quartz with the Ogee edge and stainless undermount sink. Finishes are perfect and Im a perfectionist!! Id give 10 stars if that was available.We have a cabinet that sits directly on the countertop (where the appliance garage is) and Walter was not phased by that, where other companies either did not want to do the install or were charging upwards of $1200 to take out the cabinets and reinstall. Walters solution? Detach and lift the cabinet and slide the counter in!See for yourself.Maureen

2017-01-18We decided to take on an extreme DIY kitchen remodel, during Christmas break no less. After a week of work, with electrical, plumbing, drywall and cabinets done, we were planning on being kitchenless for another couple of weeks based on what we had heard about the 2-3 week turn around between measuring and installing. Walt gave us the good news that we could have the counter installed exactly one week from the day he measured! What incredible turnaround time. We went from old kitchen to new kitchen in 19 days because of Walt and his crew and our new quartz countertop is stunning! Great look, great value, no hassle. Thats the way to do business!
