Lily does AMAZING WORK! I brought in photos of half up half down for my wedding day hairstyle as well as makeup look that I wanted. She got it even better than I thought! She truly took the time to listen to me, and even though I said natural, she realized I meant natural skin and more dramatic eye makeup since thats what Im used to. She asked for feedback and how I felt about everything every step of the way. I felt so pretty and would totally book her again for other events!I can tell she has honed her craft, and the expertise is much appreciated! Shes super nice and warm, and I really enjoyed talking to her. My appt was at 12pm, but she finished like 45 mins even though I thought shed take the full 2 hours. My sister who came with me was surprised that I was done before she came back with coffee and food.I highly highly recommend Lily. I see that she has other services such as videogeapht and photography at the studio, and Im sure the attention to detail shows in those as well if its with Lily. Hands down, I loved my hair and makeup. I received so many compliments during my photoshoot after the ceremony, and I felt so confident the whole day. What a great one stop place!I came here upon recommendations from my other friends whove worked with imperial on their wedding. They have several set prices depending on what you are looking to do with them. They also offer photo booth and limo packages. It really is a one stop shop for your wedding. The prices are reasonable and they have not disappointed us with the results of makeup, hair, dresses, photographers.I had Lily as my makeup artist for all 3 of my events- indoor photo shoot, outdoor photo shoot and I had requested her for my wedding. Shes a great makeup artist as well as hair artist! She works well with you and gives her honest feedback. She takes her time and does not rush to make sure you get the perfect look.Jayson was my photographer and he was great! Like lily, we had him for all our sessions. From our first indoor session with him, he had such positive energy and was very creative with our outdoor photo shoot. Hence, we requested jayson to be our photographer and we know our wedding photos will come out just as great!I highly recommend lily and Jason for makeup and photography!
We got the wedding package from imperial studio because I saw how great Lily was as a hair/make up artist at my brothers wedding a few years ago. She did hair/make up for the bride, the bridesmaids and my ENTIRE family in just 2-3 hours! I was so impressed by her speed and quality of work that I had to request her for my wedding.My wedding was in May and she of course was amazing!. My family and my bridesmaids were all fighting for her, but unfortunately due to time limit, she couldnt do hair/makeup for everyone.I loved the way the Photos and videos came out. Imperial studio also recommended the best florist to us.My only complaint would be the MC/DJ vendor that imperial studio recommended. I didnt realize on the wedding day that the MC messed up my husbands name 3 times and forgot to introduce my brothers, but I ended up seeing it on video and I was disappointed.Overall, the package is a great deal! photos, videos and hair/makeup were top notch! thanks Lily for all your help!Diana
I highly recommend Imperial Studio. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I was especially pleased with my makeup artist Lily! She is super talented. I loved the hair and make up she did for me. She understood what I wanted and made the make up long lasting and flawless. Lily is very patient and takes her time with her work. Overall I’m satisfied with the level of professionalism at Imperial Studio. Lily was our makeup technician. She paid attention to every details and made sure that my makeup was flawless. Rex was our photographer. He was extremely nice and easy to talk to. He was very patient and selected our photos carefully. The package isn’t cheap but it was worth every penny that we spent for.

Never ever wrote a review, but DO NOT HIRE MC LEO unless you want him to f*** up your wedding. It was so upsetting that I have to let everyone know about him. Late to my wedding and went missing before my wedding party was even over. He then shows up in front of me when guests were leaving. Biggest mistake in my life for hiring him! He teaches me what to do on my wedding day and then he say something stupid in front of everyone. He is ridiculous. I paid a few grand for a crappy MC. Even my friends said he sucks at what he does. How sad! He cant even get his job done nor professionally nor correctly!!! I am so MAD at HIM AND HIS WHOLE CREW! It was totally my mistake for not asking Imperial Studio for recommendations on MC. Who knew he was this bad?Everything went smoothly with Imperial Studio. I LOVE THEM. Lily is fantastic, friendly, and talented. Took her time with my hair and makeup. All my bridesmaids were complimenting me for how I looked. Lily took her time to listen what I wanted and made it all happen. Yen took care of me since the day I walked into Imperial Studio. She is very helpful and Im so glad I have someone there for me during my stressful wedding planning. Everyone is just very nice and sweet there. Imperial Wedding Studio was recommended to us by one of our friends, and it turns out that they did not disappoint us at all. The prices for their professional services are decent and reasonable, I would say that theyre absolutely worth the price youre paying for. Their gowns/costumes are very beautiful, make up & hair service is good, and their photographers are professionals! They made me feel and look beautiful.Most couples usually just sign up for only one contract for pre-Wedding photoshoot but we signed up for two! My husband and I have used Imperial Wedding Studio for all four seasons of outdoor photography - Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. And we are absolutely satisfied with the outcome! We even have indoor photoshoot too since it was freezing outside during winter. The photo album we had comprising these four seasons is like our love story - even when seasons change, our love still remains the same!We also used their emcee & DJ service for our wedding party at New York. Our emcee was Sandy and she accommodated well to our needs and likings for our wedding party.Now, my husband and I are expecting our first little one very soon. Guess what, youre right! Were back at Imperial Studio for our maternity photoshoot. This place has some unique selections if you are interested in Chinese culture, they have qi pao and other traditional clothes for both genders. The makeup was on point and Lily is the best. The staff here is very friendly and will coordinate everything for you.

I rarely write reviews, but Imperial Studio is awesome, they really gave me a great experience of outdoor photo shoot! Firstly, I had Lily Wong as my makeup artist, and she was amazing. She could quickly caught what style I like and did a fantastic hair and makeup for me with her professional skills. Moreover, their photographer and retoucher is excellent as well. Their works contributed a lot to my beautiful wedding photos that all my friends and families like so much! Compare to the price, I have to say that its a really good deal and high value! If you are looking forward a place to shoot indoor or outdoor wedding photo, Imperial Studio must be your first choice!The royal wedding dress is really great! I went in just because I was close to home. My makeup artist Lily Wong received me. Her attitude was very kind and her makeup was handled by her. She did it quickly and exquisitely, which was in line with her own temperament, but also beautiful. Doesnt look like myself. The clothes recommended by the clothing designer are also suitable for my figure, and will help me adjust the size. Photographers are not afraid of hard work when they are shooting location, they have always helped us pose, the aesthetic is very good, and the photos are beautiful! The editor will show me samples before work to make sure I want what I want before starting Photoshop. In short, it was a good experience, and the final product was very satisfactory, and the price was super high!

Lets go.Didnt even have an apology? Say to call the boss. I have been ignoring it for so long. I havent taken care of it for a long time. After I left, I said that I have no one to wait. Waiting for your staff is this quality and attitude.
Because the friends recommendation chose this one to give our baby a hundred-day photo, it was very hot in the basement. They should start the air-conditioning at the beginning. The child didnt go in for a long time. It was too hot because it felt that the technique of this photo was very poor. Basically, there is no clothing at home, no props, and the stools are dirty without any background. The retouching is also the second hand of the repair. The photographer does not know how to shoot. I dont know why I am late for the time. Maybe we have a wedding dress below, and people are anxious to make big money. Anyway, I dont know what to say, very bad. The thief regrets that the child has come to this place for 100 days.
My makeup artist is Lily. She has obsessive-compulsive disorder. She will be very uncomfortable if she does n’t make you beautiful. 🤣🤣🤣 The technology is super invincible. 2022-04-15The studio did a great job with our photos. Personally we would like to thank Lily as she did a perfect job on my makeup and hair. It was really on point and we had endless complements from friends and family on our photo album and canvas photo. Really cant thank this studio enough as the communication, setup, etc were perfect as we have to travel to Flushing. Would recommend anyone Lily and her team for any sort of photoshoot.

2021-08-12Lily has magic hands! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding so flawlessly and I received endless compliments about how natural and beautiful I looked that night. All my bridesmaids loved the makeup look and I truly believe it is because Lily pays attention to every details and before she starts her work, she would ask what products I normally use and how heavy I like my makeup to be. She is very caring and attentive. Not only that, but on my wedding day, she assisted me during the changing of gowns. She helped me put on my Chinese wedding dress and then the white wedding gown. She is so easy to work with and is very friendly. When she saw that my bridesmaids makeup were melting because of the hot weather, she helped them with touch up as well. I really couldnt have asked for more! I highly recommend Lily for hair and makeup!

Took her time to understand my needs and even gave me some beauty tips. Did not hesitate to ask for feedback or to make changes along the way to achieve the perfect look. She was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. She makes you look and feel beautiful! I received a bunch of compliments from my family and friends. 2022-06-02One of the best package deals they have for hair, makeup, photographer, videographer, DJ and emcee. Lily who does makeup and hair took care of us and was very transparent with the cost and gratuity fees.I highly recommend Lily to be your makeup artist and hair. She did a wonderful job with my makeup. I have acne prone skin with a lot of acne marks and she was able to make me look as natural as possible without looking too caked up. Lily was also very nice and offered to touch up my makeup in the evening and do another hairstyle with additional cost. She was very upfront with the cost so no confusions there.I havent seen the pictures yet. However, our photographer, Peter was awesome. He made sure everyone was laughing for the photos.We had Leo as our MC. He did a great job creating the slideshow in one night. He was also really great in introductions and entertaining our guest.Overall, all the staffs were great and nice.

The day of the wedding they came and were so bubbly, making me laugh and my nerves go down! They had so much great and fun poses for us to do and they had amazing personalities! 2018-01-08We got the wedding package at Imperial Wedding Studio through a friends referral, because we saw how beautiful her wedding and all the pictures turned out.There are different packages available that tailor to different needs and budgets. Since my husband and I live out of state, planning our wedding in NYC was difficult. Therefore, we went with the full package that took care of the wedding dresses/tux, wedding partys outfits, makeup, engagement and wedding-day photography, limo, etc. It made our wedding planning so much easier and we love the products and services that we received.A special shout out to Yen, the studio representative that walked through the planning process with me to ensure that we got everything ready before the big day, although we could only visit NYC a few times before the wedding day. Another special shout out to Lily, the makeup artist, who is very talented and great at what she does. With each outfits/dress changes, she made some changes on my hair & makeup in a few minutes to make me look and feel beautiful throughout the night! (I even went back to her just for the makeup services when I had to attend a wedding in NYC.) I forgot my photographers name, but we love his work too (check out the attached pic we took in Central Park!)Thank you, Imperial! Yall are awesome!!!

2018-03-17First off, no financial or personal connection exists between me or Imperial Studio. Lily Wong, Yan and Rika (Rica?) have all been great in helping out organizing my wedding and outfits. What needs to be clarified is that all business entities in Chinatown or Flushing would sort of require tipping (which would include to DJ, DJ assistants, MC, stylists, videographer, photographer etc), in addition to transportation fees if your venue is away from Flushing. If you start your budget with this in mind, you should not have any surprises later. Transparency is key. Their pricing is reasonable, they are able to be at the right place at the right times, photographer Jason is very friendly and quick in keep up with us during photo sessions. Another advise for you guys who are planning to get married is that you want something, ASK FOR IT. If you want your make ups to be light or heavy, tell them; if you want a different color of your suit or bow tie, tell them, you want extra features, ask them to price them out, Communication is key, and I think overall they did well. One recommendation is that you can bring your own makeups if you have a brand preference. Also, their indoor scenes for photo shoots should provide slightly more varieties of backgrounds. 2018-02-225 stars service and quality of work! I chose Imperial Studio for my wedding based on the great Yelp reviews and it was definitely the right decision. The studio did an amazing job on the photography/videography and hair/make up. Request Lily for hair/make up; she is the best! I highly recommend paying extra to have her with you at the venue for touch ups. Yen was my go to person when it came to the details. She is very accommodating and it was reassuring to have her answer my many questions. A big perk is having the option to rent their dresses/tuxes free of charge. I didnt think I would use the perk but ended up renting one of their traditional red dresses for myself (they have a seamstress that measures you and tailors the dress). Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Imperial Studios services. Pricing is reasonable and service is outstanding. Wedding planning is stressful and this establishment really works with you to make things a little easier.
