Pat, Jenny and Lilly were amazing. Not only were their prices great, they also accommodated us with everything we wanted and/or needed. Their makeup artist made my uncle look just like he did when he was alive, it was so surreal. I’d recommend this funeral home 100%
We just recently buried my mother Iris Robles. Pat and Jenny were amazing in helping our family during this most difficult time. My father and brother did all the paperwork with both Pat and Jenny and not once did they have any complaints. Beautiful place. All of our familys needs were met and they guided us through everything as this was our very first funeral to arrange. Thank you Pat and Jenny.

April 22nd 2021 my precious M❤THER left this earth and went into the loving arms of our L💖RD and SAVI💖R JESUS. Owner Pat Marmo and his staff Myrna & Jenny were WONDERFUL. Their sense of CARING was obvious. The funeral home setting was PERFECT & their attention to details is to be COMMENDED...from flowers to commemorative jewelry, to Prayer cards, to a video, & even to the colored trim lighting in the room. I provide pictures of myM❤THER and some of her favorite music and they transformed it into a phenomenal, wonderfully honoring video. As strange as it may seem to get compliments on how beautiful my mother looked, the setting & the video, I got many. If you are looking for a place that will honor your loved one in their final send off, this is the place I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you once again Pat, Myrna, & Jenny for the beautiful send off.
With our current passing of our father we didnt even know were to start with this painful process. However Myrna and Lilly made it so much easier. Myrna and Lilly exceptional knowledge, professionalism, transparency, and overall energy was definitely comforting to us to know that my dad was not just a body in their funeral home but a family member that still needed the outmost respect and caring as any living person.
My wife Iris Robles passed away on January 11th., 2020, as my son John writes on his review of this outstanding place, I allowed my son to make all the arrangements necessary, being that I was in no condition mentally to handle the funeral arrangements. This lady was my wife and lovely companion for 60 years and 8 months, therefore I was feeling like I had died myself. My Son John Robles has spoken for me. I could not be more satisfied with the attention and all around service provided by this Funeral Parlor. Thank you Pat, Jennie and Alicia!!I highly recommend this place to anyone who finds himself/herself in the sad situation of looking for first class funeral services, like I was.Keep up the good work!!

Pat Marino and his staff was the best. They took care of everything for me and put me at ease because I live in Fl and my mom passed unexpectedly in NY. I was so lost but he made the most hardest time in my life bearable. I did not have a service there but he waited for me to get there so I could say my goodbyes before I had her cremated. He also offered to keep her ashes there for me until i was ready to figure out what to do next. Im so gratefull for everything they did to help make this process easier for me. I recently lost my cousin to covid and Pat Marmo And Jenny were exceptional. Excellent service, fast and efficient, but above all they were very understanding and compassionate in these difficult times. To loose a love one is devastating, we are never ready for that and since we contacted the funeral home, they gave us all the support that we needed it, since the first call that we made they showed us that they care . The place and the services that they provided is unique.Thanks for everything..
I had the opportunity to have my great uncle funeral service there today and Im was beyond pleased. They were so kind and warm and I know that is how funeral homes are supposed to be in this time of grief but they are different from any other funeral homes and I went to 8 before I made them my final decision. I had the most wonderful experience with Pat and his staff. They were so attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to make the day special. I couldn’t have asked for more and I am so appreciative to Pat for everything he did for my family and I. The place is beautiful and everyone is so kind. I had no issues and in such a short time everything was planned out perfectly.
I usually don’t write reviews & I feel International deserves it. Despite the circumstance of having to bury my grandmother, I literally left there with warmth in my heart.... The service given to me and my family at this establishment left me feeling like I was in my living room!! IT FELT LIKE HOME!! Racist people working here. Please avoid at all cost.They asked me where Im from in which I replied Texas and they kept asking the same old cliche questions Where are you from ORIGINALLY? Where were you before Texas? What is your nationality? They wanted to dig deep and wouldnt accept what I had replied. It was as if they didnt want to accept my initial answer and that I owe them some kind of response. Like they wanted to give me a hint or find a different way to word the question youre not white you cant call America your home country. IS THAT QUESTION SO IMPORTANT??????????????

2022-02-17I have no prior experience planning a funeral home, I made my selection based on the reviews when searching online and thank God the reviews are accurate. Myna and her staff were kind, patient and very helpful with walking me through the process from start to finish. How they handle all the details, with care, professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion went above and beyond! Even the memory/prayer card was done beautifully with attention to details that I truly appreciate is beyond words! I highly recommend this funeral home, they treated me with such care during such a difficult time.

2022-06-24I truly have to thank Myrna for all the help and support she gave my siblings and I. We were devastated with the loss of our father. It was my task to pick a funeral home which I selected based on reviews only. The reviews were correct. Myrna and her staff are heaven sent. They truly went above and beyond making this difficult situation a lot easier. The attention they put on the slide show and the memory card was amazing. It was truly beautifully done and staff was attentive and compassionate. Thank you Myrna for everything.

2022-02-07First, I would like to congratulate the owner for having the wisdom to select such wonderful and caring staff. Second, I would like to Publicly thank the three angels that made this difficult process so much smoother for our family. These three angels, Myrna, Sowka, & Aisha were extremely caring, and they’re level of empathy is above and beyond. Yes, we encountered some difficulties with the snowstorm, which delayed the process of my moms body arriving to DR. However, the ladies managed to keep us updated, which was an extremely attentive gesture. I can honestly say, that even in my saddest time, I felt comfort knowing that they were handling my mom being transported to DR. People I advise you, if you don’t receive a warm welcome when you walk in somewhere just walk out because first impressions mean a lot. After having such a terrible experience at an Ortiz Funeral home. I am so happy that we decided to go to another funeral home. Our decision to transfer the body to the International Funeral was the best decision ever. Not to say, I look forward to visiting funeral homes bec it’s a very sad experience. But it’s nice to meet with people like Myrna, Aisha and Sowka that show love and devotion in assisting others in their saddest time.Thank you.

The reception, empathy, attention to your emotional state of being, and logical level of engagement displayed by two young ladies Sowka and Aisha was in my opinion beyond comparison. The manner in which they handled an unfortunate family situation, put us at ease emotionally in knowing that arrangements for our deceased matriarch would be handled in a manner that would receive a beyond world class preparation and execution, as far as funeral proceedings were concerned.Congratulations are in order for your institution, and I consider your organization lucky to have two amazing young ladies such as Sowka and Aisha, who truly understand the concept of how a business is properly run.

2020-01-26My mother passed away in the early morning hours of January 11th, 2020. My father was too distraught to make the arrangements regarding my mother’s funeral services and entrusted those responsibilities to me.I immediately “Googled” funeral homes near me and found several including “International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights”. The reviews were very good, so I decided to take a chance.I called their number that same morning; which was on a Saturday and was told that they could see my dad and I in an hour.My father and I arrived and were immediately greeted by Pat, Jenny and Alisha. All three were extremely polite, courteous, compassionate and VERY sympathetic to our loss.Pat took some preliminary information from us and then told us that Jenny would be the Funeral Director for my mom’s services. Jenny interviewed us to help her get a feeling for who my mom was. I told her everything that she needed to know and then she asked me to email her pictures of my mom.My father wanted a 2-day viewing of 6 hours for each day.Jenny created an amazing slideshow of my mom with the pictures that I provided and even had my mom’s favorite music; subtly, playing in the background.Alisha handled cosmetology and did an amazing job on my mom including freshening up her makeup after my father kissed mom several times.Pat went above and beyond in helping us to get a Priest for the service as well as helping; TREMENDOUSLY, with getting a burial plot for my mother.The funeral parlor itself is immaculately kept. Everything appeared to be brand new.Considering the unfortunate circumstances that brought us to “International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights”, Pat, Jenny and Alisha did an AMAZING job with my mother’s services and in making my family as comfortable as possible and putting us at ease, the best they could.“International Funeral & Cremation Services of Hamilton Heights” delivered First-Class service and I would rate them as a AAA+++ establishment.

2021-09-30I had never heard of this funeral service in Harlem, was so accustom to Ortiz that never, ever gave this a thought but recently my best friends Dad passed away (who was like my Dad too) and someone had told her about this place and I was with her from the very start to the end and I have to say we met with Jenny and shes a BEAST at her trade, she was compassionate, yet, easy going and made us smile during this hard time for us. Jenny really came through with all of our familys request, she made us feel like we were her only priority. Everything was perfect for my best friends Dad, just how we wanted it. The Place is small but very modern and clean. No one likes to go through this, but when you do, please come here and ask for Jenny oh and she speaks Spanish! Serving our community!

2020-09-09Let me share the most caring experience I received from International Funeral Home. Pat, Jenny, Lilly, and the whole team from start to finish was superb! You could always tell the quality of an experience when things are hitting the fan in the world (Pandemic). The character traits of this place/people was full of integrity, compassion, and total commitment. When the Pandemic was hitting us hard my Grandma had past away at the same time. My experience was of the upmost highest quality here. The staff was pleasant, caring, communicative, and constantly delivering us all the necessary steps to finalize the arrangements. And while the Pandemic was hitting us hard back in April, many places were so busy, lack emotions, were frustrated, lost integrity due to price gouging, and furthering monetization. International Funeral Home was the opposite, they were extremely busy as well but it was not noticeable due to their professionalism of handling this major crisis. We had to leave our go to family funeral home services for reasons mentioned above and came to International funeral home. I’m glad and grateful for this experience during a very difficult time for us. Thank you Pat & Team for your amazing work!

2020-10-20We lost our Mother during the CoronaVirus Pandemic in April 2020. It was a time of unimaginable pain and uncertainty. We did not know if we would be able to properly pay tribute to the most important person in our life until we came in contact with International Funeral & Cremation Services. From the time we entered the door to make arrangements, we where treated with kindness, compassion & professionalism. Special thanks to Lilly, Jenny, Alisha and Nicole for the seamless execution of our Mother’s farewell, for going above and beyond our expectations, from the amazing slide show to making our Mom look as beautiful as she really was.
