I bought a BMW 335i from NJ and shortly after driving it home, I noticed oil leaking. I brought the car to Eric through a referral and he was able to fix all the problems and exceed my expections. He is great guy and does a fantastic job!!
I highly recommend Erik. He is thorough, honest and truly knows what he is doing. His ability to diagnose is impressive. Erik not only quickly diagnosed and repaired an issue with my Jeep Commander but he did it cheaper than quoted! During my repair he discovered a part didnt need to be replaced. Rather charging me anyway he was honest and deducted the part from the bill. In addition, Erik did a once over of my vehicle and gave me recommendations for items to watch and plan for in the future. Instead of guessing and throwing parts and money at a problem he figures it out and fixes it right. What more could ask for?
Erick is great!Long story, I was going to Metric Motors for years to get my oil changed and occasional engine work. 2 years ago, Metric motors messed up my oil change and ruined my cars engine. They replaced the engine, however just recently the car was leaking oil. They said leaking profusely along with other issues. Engine was no longer covered under warranty. So I did not trust them. Went to pick up oil to keep in my car and someone recommended Invictus Automotive. Gave them a call and Erick said he could look at my car that afternoon. As soon as he saw my engine, he said that the engine installed by Metric Motors was a bad engine. Erick was also able to pinpoint 2 issues instantly. He kept the car overnight to look into other things. The next day got a call with the verdict and had it fixed in 3 days.Erick of Invictus Automotive is my new Mechanic and I will not go anywhere else or trust anyone else! He is very thorough and explains things in a way I can understand. He even takes pictures to help document and keep me informed.
Erik did a fantastic job on my Ram 2500 4x4 diesel truck. He rebuilt my transmission that had over 250k on it and it now feels like new. He completed the job on time and at exactly the price he quoted. I couldn’t be happier.
I was referred to Erik at Invictus by a friend, I was desperate because my clutch went in my Jeep Wrangler jk and it wasn’t drivable. I needed it fixed, and immediately. I was at the mercy of time and was afraid of what the expense was going to be! I spoke with Erik and the price he quoted was amazing and his knowledge was apparent from the beginning . I had my Jeep towed right to him and he had it going; better then new in no time. Since I iwnef the car, it had an issue with little to no heat. I’ve had the dealer and several other mechanics look at and attempt to fix/diagnose the problem with no luck...costing me time and many cold drives! I mentioned it to Erik, he said he would be able to fix it. Once he heard I had 3 young kids, he said he HAD to fix it. Long story short he fixed it, replaced the heater core plus put in an in-line filter so it doesn’t happen again! So I highly recommend Invictus Automotive. I can’t say enough good things about him. I’ve been back for other issues with other vehicles and he never fails ...honest, understanding, fair pricing and one heck of a mechanic! A+++

Dont be fooled by the initial appearance of this small shop. Inside is a brainy guy who is an expert diagnostician who clearly explains what your cars problem is and how he can fix it. There is no bs trying to get you to do more than you need. And his rates are fair. Get dealer service and some honest service with Erik.Bill felling

Amazing service and extremley knowledgeable. I have worked on cars and boats my whole life and am fairly knowledgeable in most forms of mechanical work but i didnt have the knowledge or time to tear apart the hemi engine on my jeep. Someone reccomended eric and i couldnt have been more happy. A local pirate, i mean dealership, diagnosed that my cam and lifters needed to be changed and gave me a ridiculous number of $8000 to do lifters,cam replace radiator and water pump, absolutely insane. Eric did all that plus timing chain, re-machined heads with new seats and springs, thermostat, replace all gaskets and bolts, serviced trany, transfer case and front and rear diff plus dropped pan and flushed engine for about half that amount. He actually explained what he wanted to do and kept me in the loop the whole time. Anything i cant do from now on for my cars and boat engine. He is doing. I highly recommend invictus automotive.John E

2022-05-26Erik has been my, and now my whole familiys, go to mechanic for the past 6 years. Theres never been a problem that he couldnt solve with any of our cars. His ability to diagnose the issue quickly and accurately surpasses anyones Ive ever seen in the business. I honestly dont know what wed do without this guy. 2020-04-27Erik was highly recommended to me. I had a transmission leak underneath my car and he was able to find the problem in a very Short period of time. We talked about a couple of other things with my car to keep an eye on which gave me peace of mind it’s safe. Erik had my car fixed and back to me in no time and was very easy to work with. 2020-01-29Erik rebuilt the transmission and changed the timing chain, brakes and water pump to my 2006 Acura. It drives like a charm now. He explained everything, was fairly priced and did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend him!

2018-11-06Erik did an excellent job rebuilding the transmission of my 2004 Pilot along with fixing a stalling problem other mechanics would not take the time to diagnose. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems and the repairs were done within the time and price that he quoted. He kept me updated on the progress and was quick to respond to any questions that I had. My Pilot has 325K miles and runs like new, will definitely return for any future repairs.

2019-04-25Erik was referred to me by a friend. She told me he was upfront and fair and I absolutely found this to be true. I was able to get my honda repaired the same day. Erik gave the car a thorough inspection and let me know what repairs need to be done soon, and others that are less urgent. 2020-05-02Erik is THE guy to see if you have any issues with your car, truck or toy. Or if you just want to go faster. Eriks professionalism and knowledge is simply unmatched by anyone in the area. 2019-05-06My car died, and my father referred me to Erik. Every time I need something and my father says, Ive got a guy, I usually consider the vetting process over.That said, I still managed to be pleasantly surprised.I called Erik and asked for as quick a turnaround as possible. I had the car towed to Invictus at 2 PM, and by 4PM, I got a phone call with a full explanation and diagnosis on all 3 issues (2 main issues- Alternator, Battery, but he also checked/replaced the brake pads), and by 7AM the following morning my car was ready for pickup. On top of that, he undercharged me.Erik is intelligent, thorough, transparent, honest, and conscientious. He gets my utmost recommendation.
