2022-06-03I happened upon an opening last night at Ippodo Gallery, “The Magic of Tea Bowls.” It is a “must see” ! I learned a lot about the artists and the craft from the helpful gallery assistants who kindly and unobtrusively inquired about my interests and warmly answered my questions. Their gallery included a Japanese tea room for the exhibit. And a few works from other Japanese sculptors (Yukiya Izumita) and furniture designers (Toshio Tokunaga)The artists they represent are impressive - check website for photos. Mine do not give justice to capturing the beauty.
