First, be aware that there are two locations, Bellmore and Wantaugh, with two different names, Iprodigy and Geek Repair.I met Robert at Iprodigy at 2281 Bellmore Ave; we had talked by phone about my Home Button failure, and he offered to check out my Iphone 7 even though I had come up with the assistive touch workaround.He examined the phone, explained the likely issue, checked my battery, and told me the phone could last another year or two. And when its time did run out, to call him about a refurbished Iphone.Also gave me great advice about buying a used Ipad for the first time, and put on a complementary face cover.Many thanks Robert; youre my go-to guy now.
Super easy process, we were in and out in 20 mins with a beautiful new screen. Thank you! 😊EDIT: They charged us $10 more than they said they were going to and never issued the 10% credit they said they would after I left a review. The screen is great and it was quick service but that kinda rubbed us the wrong way.

I will tell you, I have been to many phone repair shops and I oftentimes leave dissatisfied because most of these phone repair places put a Band-Aid on the problem rather than truly fixing it.Someone recommended I go to iProdigy so I figured I would give it a try.I must say, I brought my iPhone XS Max there and they did an absolutely fantastic job. I first brought it there because the microphone wasnt working correctly. He looked at the phone and said he could repair it-I knew was broken beyond just blowing some compressed air in there, and my phone was also a mess because it had a cracked back and front screen as well.Because I was curious, I asked him how much it would be to fix that also. He told me since I was there and paying for the microphone being fixed, he would also work on the entire phone and he gave me a price that was very reasonable for all repairs which I agreed to. But since I have had cracked screens fixed before by other shops, they are never quite the same as new, and sometimes terrible.When I came back for my phone later that afternoon, I truly thought he mixed up my phone with a brand-new one! Every portion of that phone looked brand-new, I mean the screen, and he also put on a new screensaver, even fixed the front and back which was cracked and it could not be told apart from new.And then seeing I am quite rough on my phones, he recommended an Otterbox case and gave me a great deal on that also.When I walked out of his shop, that phone was no different than when I got it brand-new-and thats no exaggeration.So I thought I had a phone that was ready for the junk pile and was looking at spending well over $1000 to get a new one, and I walked out of his place for a fraction of that price with a phone that not only worked perfectly, but looked brand-new as well.Not only that, the person I worked with, named Bobby, was a great guy, explained everything before he did it-and was truly a pleasure to work with.I highly recommend this place-way above any other electronic repair shop I ever went to.

This was a terrible experience. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TWO FACED. WOULDNT TRUST THEM NOW TO CHANGE A WATCH BATTERY!! HOPE YOU NEVER GO THERE! The only reason I went was because they offered me a loaner phone. Turns out loaner phone was a piece of garbage iPhone 5. The loaner wouldnt hold a charge and thus I had no phone for entire week while getting fixed. I asked for some kind of recompense and was told there could be none. Tried to give me some jive about already getting a discounted price, but I had called around and the price I paid was actually a little more than others quoted. VERY UNHAPPY!!! After all that when I get the phone back it has been DAMAGED during the repair, there are SCRATCHES AND MARKS, apparently where they clumsily opened the phone.

I stopped in to iProdigy this morning and was greeted by Alex.I asked about replacing my cellphone battery, and it wasnt a problem.He changed out the battery in 30 mins. while I waited there.He was very friendly, customer oriented and his prices are great !He explained to me how he was going to change the battery out, and how to recharge the new battery.The music playing in the store is great too !If i have any other problems with my phone, Ill be coming back !
Stopped in Sunday afternoon with a cracked screen on my wifes 6 plus. Alex was great, he checked and tested the phone. Within 15 minutes the glass was replaced and I was on my way. The guys were great. Went with a cracked screen on the iPhone 7plus. They replaced it in less than 1hr and the phone looks good as new. Reasonable priced, fast and professional. Will definitely use them again (but hopefully won’t need to - lol).

The company was to install a new 1 tigabyte ssd drive since my computer was not working properly.A repairman came in and told me they could not guarantee the transfer of all files . We were given the opportunity to put a new ssd drive in which I agreed to. Now speaking to the owner I was told that all we wanted was for the computer to work . His idea of working was to re format my hard drive and put it back into my computer. We were not called nor asked if this was ok ,he felt he was saving us moneyThis was not in compliance with what I wanted done . I now have a computer not performing with my software.A very upset and disappointed customer.I don’t understand how you an say you did what you were supposed to, since the new ssd drive was never installed. Reformatting a drive is not the same as installing a new one .We were misled. Sorry I can’t agree with your comments.

Great experience. Have been here twice, one when the screen/LCD cracked and then when the charging port on my iPhone 6S had some water damage. Both issues fixed without issue and in a timely manner. Prices also lower on both repairs than the neighboring competition. Would recommend for all repairs.
I reached out to Alex with a phone crisis and he came up with a very quick solution. Good news is that I was able to resolve my phone issue on my own after Alex said he would order a part for me. Bad news is that he ordered a part that I no longer needed. I contacted Alex and told him my situation and he was wonderful and said dont worry about the part and he was glad I was able to fix my phone. So in the end I didnt need his assistance but his customer service went above and beyond!
Quick and friendly! I corresponded via email at first. The wait at the store was short. They have comfortable seats and a nice flat screen TV lol! I had broken the back plate of my S7, and the battery was 2-3 years old, so I called and spoke to Mike. He could do the repair in 20 minutes for $90. He did misquote in the store, and since I was paying cash, I asked for a little better price. He agreed to $80 and Im a happy customer. Thanks Mike for giving me more life on my phone!

I called to get a price on a cracked screen replacement for my S6. They say $200. I get there and the guy with the broken glasses jacks up the quoted price to $225. I left irritated at the price change but returned the a few days later for matters of geographical convenience. There was a different guy at the counter (nice enough guy) Turned out that I needed a new battery as well so now a total of $270. Took about 45 minutes to an hour. They placed blue painters tape at the edges and said to leave it there overnight which I did. Four days later sitting in my den the phone slipped out of my hands and fell about 16 inches to the floor and cracks in EXACTLY the same spot. Brought it back and the broken glasses guy takes the phone behind the curtain for like 5 minutes only to return and offer me a whopping $10 dollar discount for a do-over. He wants another $215 out of my pocket ($15 more than the price they originally quoted me on the phone before he jacked it up). If the phone wasnt fixable then they should have told me up front. $485 to fix a 2 year old S6? Thanks iProdigy. Next time Ill make the trip to 5 star rated ifixscreens in Merrick.
I brought my iPhone in for a battery replacement. Alex the owner checked the battery and confirmed it was no good. He explained what he was going to do and 29 minutes later it was finished. He also replaced the screen protector at no charge. Alex explained how to use the new battery in detail and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend iProdigy!

I have a brand new iPhone 11 and I dropped it, thought the screen cracked and I was in a panic. I ran over to Iprodigy and the sweet gentleman showed me it was the screen protector that cracked. Instead of being a shady salesman and replacing theScreen and charging me because you know that happens, he replaces the protector and sent me on my way :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Have been using them for a couple of years. Always fast friendly service. My family has 6-7 devices and someone is always breaking one of them. Even replaced my daughters iPod screen free of charge when she dropped it2 weeks after having it repaired.

I bought my daughter a used iphone 4s and was pleased with the experience. A few days later we noticed the phone would not turn off when charging. We went back to the store and they replaced many parts to properly refurbish the phone and has worked perfect ever since. Just got my kids iPhone 7plus screen replaced. Great to have 2 options, the aftermarket glass and the OEM glass. If you want it like the original glass then go for the extra $$ and get the OEM. Marty helped us and was very attentive and explained the process and even waited after for us til closing. Highly recommended!!!
Unfortunately my iPad had soup spilled on it and I couldn’t use some of the keys. I even tried putting it in rice overnight. Nothing worked. I took it to iprodigy and they were able to clean it and remove any soup inside and it’s perfect now. Great job, quickly fixed for a very reasonable price. I thought I was looking at an expensive repair. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Would totally recommend them.

My IPhone 6 screen was cracked on the 6/5/2015 called up and I went the following day after church 6/6/15. I was really impress with the how kind courteous they were I got back my phone in less than 15mins. I would recommend them Im going back cause my sister IPhone 5 has a cracked on the back, may God bless your establishment.

Really impressed with my experience at Iprodigy. I live in the neighborhood and was inquiring about prices around the merrick and bellmore area. Gadget Rx on merrick road in merrick quoted me a ridiculous price over the phone and would not negotiate. I then called ifix in merrick also on merrick road and while their price point was fair, the guy didnt have the right glass for the 6s until 3 hours from when I called. Thats when I discovered Iprodigy and Alex who was beyond accommodating over the phone and later in person. I got a great vibe from him over the phone. He promised to match any neighborhood price, and even was honest with me regarding Groupon deals. Alex was honest and did the right thing by me. He even had my phone fixed within 20 minutes, which beat any other place I called. The other two places told me it would take anywhere from 30mins to 1 1/2 hours. Wouldnt use anyone else now! As someone who is quite selective, give Iprodigy a chance at making you happy. I can almost gaurentee you will leave thrilled that you took my advice!
I went to iprodigy after dropping/ smashing my phone in the street. Alex took my phone in, came back out, told me he has great news. He said that my screen wasnt broken and replaced my screensaver! WHO DOES THAT!!! Not the guy before him who wanted me to leave my phone with him for 3-5 days!!! Honesty and Integrity.....a rare find. Ill never go anywhere else! GO SEE ALEX!

This is my 2nd time using iProdigy and they are the best. Highly recommend. First time my sons iPad phone jack wasnt working. They were able to replace it same day. Yesterday, went in and they were able to open up my 27 iMac and upgrad the hard drive. May not seem like a big deal, except that with this specific version of my computer, Apple factory sealed shut making it difficult to open up without damaging the computer. In fact, most other companies in the area refused to do the work because of this. Not iProdigy. They were fast and friendly and whats even better is hearing they own the same machinery Apple does to make the repair, so my computer came back to me as if it came straight from the factory, just now with an upgraded SSD hard drive! Ill be back again, thank you!

I got my phone fixed here quickly and at a great price. The place has a good selection of accessories as well. My goto place they also fixed my friends phone all within 15 mins.
I spilled water on my Mac book. It would not turn on or charge. I took to to Apple genius bar where a tech told me that the computer has shorted out and that I needed a new one.I spoke to Mike at Iprodigy later that day. He asked me to leave the computer so he could check it out.He was able to repair it for a very, very reasonable fee. They now have a customer for life.
I was impressed with how quickly they serviced our issue which was a cracked screen for your IPhone 5s. They did a quality job. Would definitely would recommend them.
I have been here about three times for different phones but all screen and charging related issues. Alex who normally helps me is always really calm and reassuring (I freak easily about my stupid phones) but also really honest about whether its worth fixing. The most recent visit was due to me leaving my phone on the roof of my car and then later finding it on busy merrick road (dont ask). I went to iprodigy first before Verizon because Verizon would for sure say I needed a completely new phone. Alex ran a diagnosis on my phone and said it was only the screen and my front facing camera that was severely damaged- he replaced both with ease and care giving me my phone back (which had all my wedding pictures on it) and I was able to go on with my day (was there for only 20 mins). Go here first before going anywhere! Highly recommended

Went to get my samsung galaxy s4 screen fixed . Lcd was perfect but glass broken . Phone hasnt been working the same since. The touch sensor is all out of sorts and my phone has been running slow and wont load certain things . Quick fix but not impressed . Wont use them again.

The Worse Service!!!I felt the same way as people who left 5 stars after my 1st repair was done for my IPad. Unfortunately, I decided to come back and change broken screen on my son’s phone, too. After service his microphone stop working right the way. And when I came back to ask to fix this problem, owner’s true color showed up.The owner doesn’t stand behind his service. After some arguments of asking to fix this problem, the owner response were - “Take me to the court” (who has time go to the court for $75 loss) or “Sell this phone on Ebay” (Seriously sell on Ebay broken phone???) or another one - “I can sell you new phone for $300”– these are the best his explanation to the not working part after his repair.What should I (or you) done instead? I should go instead to the Apple store. I went there next day to see if they could help me. The store representative saw that I have changed screen (cheap knock-off!) on this phone in 2 sec. They only can help me if had original screen. They could sell me a new phone for $150 (and not for $300 as store owner wanted). This would be much better deal and best customer service behind. Also, this would be a working version and I could sell this working phone on the ebay in the future… Could, would… not in my situation anymore… I am in the loss of $75 and with broken phone.In summary, if you feel “Lucky” today, then you can go and give to the owner your money. Otherwise, you better drive to the Apple store and you will have much better options and great service there.

If you go to iProdigy be warned that they are nasty and disrespectful! They say that your phone was dropped before they even see the phone to see what the problem is. I was there today and had a more than unpleasant experience. They do not stand by their warrantee so beware if they tell you that they do. If there was a way to give negative zeros as a rating I would!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!I tried not giving any stars but computer does not allow it.

After getting my iphone 5s screen replaced by iProdigy the screen became loose and it eventually fell out. They told me it had dropped and wouldnt be able to fix it. They stole 250 bucks from my pocket and then asked for another 190 at what they claimed cost, when I could buy the part at 100 and get it fixed for 50 bucks. They totally screwed me over, and told me to sue them if I really had a problem. Avoid them at all costs.

Nothing but problems from day one when I brought my phone there .. and there warranty is bullshit .. after they fixed my screen it cracked within two days from being in my pocket .. brought it back and was told that I physically broke it this and that and it would not be covered under warranty ... save your money and go to IFIXSCREENS in Merrick its down the block .. never had a problem since .. they told me that there was a piece of glass left in there which caused it to break in your pocket shotty work from iprodigy ...

2022-06-15My phone got ran over and I lost everything. Rob was unbelievable and used every option possible to restore all of my data, apps, photos and important work info onto my new phone (which took hours). He talked me through everything he was doing. This is my second time here and was a great experience again.

2022-07-20Took it here for a battery replacement and then 1 month later the battery completely died. CPR tech told me that the soldered battery connector was loose and he had to replace the battery. When I first got my phone back, the back glass wasnt put back on correctly either.

2022-07-03Editing my review. Initially had a very positive experience after shattering my phone. Retuned 3 weeks later. Phone fell from a short distance. Maybe a foot and didn’t even land on the floor, but in a full garbage can. Screen did NOT crack but the display stopped working. Person who was working (not the initial person, Alex, who was there previously and was very nice and helpful) wanted to charge me full price to replace the screen. Wouldn’t give me any discounts and said the warranty wasn’t valid. (Ironically had my phone been working I would have seen an email for $10 off my next purchase- which I didn’t know about bc my phone was broken). I’m not paying full price to replace something that stopped working after 2.5 weeks. Really disappointing.

2022-07-09Just brought my sons IPad here to be fixed. The screen was completely shattered. It was fixed within an hour. Both Rob and Alex were extremely nice and very helpful. Alex even gave me a discount when I picked up the IPad. I would highly recommend this store!
