I hired IPS for my move. While it was just a 2 bedroom apartment, I had a lot of items to be packed and moved. Luis, Brandon and Avian went well above and beyond to offer me best in class service. They each had a patient, kind demeanor; understanding the stress of moving. Additionally, they took extreme care in the loading, unloading and building of my furniture. I would absolutely recommend them and use them for future moves.
We were in great hands today with IPS NYC Movers! Luis personally made sure our job was completed efficiently and with great care. His crew was professional and energized! We will be using IPS from this day forward and highly recommend their services!
I moved from NYC to upstate NY and Carlos, Omar and Jose Luis were amazing. They were very professional and careful with my move. They came prepared with boxes tape etc. The only thing I would say is that there was a miscommunication on the size of truck I would need and the estimate was way off. But Carlos and his crew were fantastic. I would highly recommend them
Ive now used IPS for two moves - one in 2020 and one in 2022 - and both occasions have been the two most seamless moving experiences I can remember. I have used IPS movers for two of my moves! Everything from the people who answer the phone at headquarters to the men who moved our whole apartment everyone is SO KIND AND RESPECTFUL. This is my first google review for a reason. They work hard and fast and if I had to move again tomorrow I would only call IPS. The team that came and helped us ( Carlos, Jose Luis Brandon and Luis) made us feel calm and collected on such a stressful day! Very thankful for them and taking such good care of ALL our items. They were going to get the job done no matter what! Also love that they check in multiple times before the big day! Just making sure that everything is good to go! Needed that.
We inquired with IPS very last minute, the week before our move. Not only were they easy to work with they actually worked with us in so many ways. We just needed help loading the truck for an out of state move and IPS was better than we expected. We usually move things on our own with family, however this time we chose to entrust a company and glad my fiancé found IPS. To start the quote process was fast and simple, moving day came and my fiancé and I reserved the wrong size truck with U-Haul. Much smaller than we should have, it was definitely an oversight on our end , we didn’t know how we’d get all our things to fit…. But some how some way IPS made it happen! They fit everything in the smaller truck and we were able to make our move in 1 trip. Amazing service IPS , thank you. I recommend them 10/10 to anyone looking for a moving company.
They did come in late - not to their fault but late indeed. Moving with a new born is stressful enough so that did put more stress to the move itself. But they made up for the lateness with their effectiveness. Everything was handled with such care and speed I was shocked myself when all was said and done. They came with 6 men compared to the 4 they quoted and we were done with our move within hours. Lou and the team are great! Will def refer them to future clients
We had a great experience with IPS NYC Movers on July 6th in New York. We had movers cancel on us the 5th and fortunately IPS (with foreman Carlos, Omar and Avian) were sent on the 6th. Carlos et al werent told about the cancellation from the day before, but they did their best to make up for the other companys mess up. They cleared the house in about two hours. On top of that they were kind enough to help us clear the stuff that wasnt coming with us, even carrying it all the way around the corner. All in all a very postive experience and wouldnt hesitate to use their services again.We are now safely in the Netherlands and hope you guys thoroughly enjoyed the hookah and the big bottle of Grey Goose!
I used three movers to move from Brooklyn to Rockaway. FANTASTIC work from all three. I have zero complaints about the process or movers. Shoutout to the foreman Carlos, and the two other guys Jose Luis and Luis G. 5/5 gold stars
My husband and I recently used IPS Movers when we moved from our apartment in Astoria to a house on Long Island. Their online portal made it super easy to update the items that we needed to have moved. Rich checked in with us the day before our move and recommended that we have an additional mover to help assist and have things go a little smoother. The movers showed up exactly on time and were so careful with each of our items. The movers were super friendly and quick. I cannot recommend IPS Movers enough!

IPS Movers made moving seem so easy and almost stress-free!I moved with them from Manhattan to Westchester in February 2021, and, out of all the moves Ive had to do so far, this one was by far the most pleasant.First, Luis gave me professional estimates with and without packing included. He was thorough in his work, and there were no surprises on the actual moving days.On the day of the move, Luis and his team showed up on time. It was obvious that the teammates knew each other well; the camaraderie was clear, the guys worked well and fast while chatting and joking. Luis was there throughout, working alongside his crew. They took apart some of the furniture, wrapped everything with great care. I have a few quite large and heavy pieces, some with glass doors and shelves; they somehow maneuvered all of it out of my Manhattan building and into my new home without a scratch or a broken glass! Upon arrival, the unloading was done very quickly, with all of my furniture put back together and placed where they needed to go.I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend IPS to anyone moving!
We had a great experience with IPS NYC Movers! We used them for an out of state move (with many walk up flights of stairs...) and to prepare all of our belongings for fumigation. They were very helpful from the moment I asked for a quote all the way to the end. Luis, who managed the process for us was responsive and transparent about how to make the process as easy as possible for us. He was also transparent about pricing - they dont do flat rate moving but hourly. We followed his instructions on organizing things and giving him as accurate of an inventory as we could to make sure everything went seamlessly and it did. All the furniture was fully wrapped in moving blankets and nothing was broken, scratched or lost during the move. They are also a very pleasant and professional team in general which definitely makes this stressful process much more pleasant. Ralph, one of the movers, was really funny and brought some much needed humor to our move day which really helped my stress levels. This company was not the cheapest quote I got but they made such a great impression that I decided to go with them anyways and it was worth every penny! Thank you Luis, Ralph, Hector, Louie G., Justice and Jose - its hard to hand over everything you own to strangers and I am so grateful you took great care of our belongings :)
They came on time (a few minutes before actually) and started working right away. They were very quick and efficient. Got to our new location pretty quickly and placed the furniture without a single scratch. They were all extremely friendly and responsive. The cost actually came out to be a hundred dollars less than what I was quoted. Overall, very good quality! 10/10 would recommend!
Experience was excellent from the beginning - Rich gave me a quote in minutes over the phone after answering a few questions, movers were on time and moved incredibly fast, communicating all along the way. All of my belongings got to my new apartment with not a dent, scratch, or break along the way. Not to mention the service was very affordable compared to other quotes I got for a 1st-of-the-month move. Our family has now used IPS for two moves and we’ve been so happy both times. I trust Luis and his team implicitly. They are honest and quote fairly. They took care of our belongings as if they were their own - packing and moving each item carefully. They work so efficiently and are incredibly hard-working, working 14+ hour days in the sweltering heat to make sure we were all moved in by the time we went to sleep. They are gracious, personable and SO clean (I’m the biggest bed bug freak of all time and they fumigated the truck in advance, used new blankets and took every precaution, never dismissing my insane requests). Don’t ever want to move again but if we do, no doubt we’d use IPS again!
IPS NYC Movers is one of the best moving companies I’ve hired. Luis and his team were responsive, punctual, very professional, and made the process super easy. I moved during the pandemic, and they were well prepared with protective gear. Packing and moving is so overwhelming, but they were so efficient that I ended up asking if they could do more than I planned on the spot. They packed up my apartment, drove a few hours away, and unloaded my furniture and boxes, so that it would be easy for me to unpack. I had a great experience and it was clear that they are true professionals. If you are considering whether to do it yourself, or hire a moving company, don’t think twice and call them. You will not regret it. They are so worth it.
I was really impressed with my IPC movers team! Jean, Carlos, Manny, and Danny. The four of them worked really hard on a very hot day at the end of June. They all had a professional and pleasant attitude that made it a pleasure to work with them (as much as moving can be described as a pleasure!). They were very careful with my thing - not a single item was damaged. I would definitely use IPC again and I would request the same team, if possible. Thank you for all your hard work!
Highly recommend! A completely perfect move thanks to them. Rich was fantastic before the move - having a 1:1 consultation to discuss what Id be bringing from one apartment from the next, so I felt comfortable and knew what to expect on moving day. The team was extremely professional, friendly, on time, and QUICK. One item actually got accidentally left in the moving truck, and they called me immediately to let me know they had it and would deliver it back to me. There may be cheaper options for moving in NYC, but they wont deliver the same quality as IPS. Great experience!
We had a last-minute move, and I called on a Friday for help unpacking a small truck and moving it up to the 3rd floor that weekend. Daryl and Lewis are absolute legends, calling ahead oftime and the. arriving a few minutes early and helping unpack the truck. They were professional, fast, careful, and courteous, and we will be calling for any of our moving in the future. They turned a hectic, stressful move into the easiest relocation we’ve ever had.
Eric, Jean, Louie and Manny helped me moved today and they were fantastic. They promptly showed up at the agreed upon time and were a very friendly group. They worked hard and efficiently throughout the move helping keep the final bill close to the estimate. I would definitely recommend using this crew for your next move.
IPS, specifically Luis, Ralph, Christian and Luis (2:) were INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend that you do your moving with this company. Luis was SO helpful to us during this whole quote process and truly did his best to work with our budget and needs (we had a piano to take3 floors down on top of everything else). He was so kind and truly a pleasure to work with. The guys did a fantastic and fast job getting everything to the truck and safely treated every single piece of furniture , musical instruments and boxes. We have it all stored in their storage unit and it’s very reasonably priced. They also delivered some stuff for us the next day to another temp apartment and were so gracious about it all. We are forever grateful and will continue to use their services for whatever move we still need. Do not look any further :) this company is amazing and reliable and FAIR! Gene and Christian helped us move within our building and were outstanding. Over the phone prior to showing up Gene really set the tone that the move was going to go smooth and accordingly. I recently moved from New Jersey to the Phoenix area. I have not moved in 16 years and had a good deal of art work and specialty items I needed picked safely. I called many advertised companies and received very unenthusiastic and unhelpful responses to my inquiries. When I finally found Luis Hidalgo, owner of IPS Movers, I immediately felt the consideration and expertise I was seeking for my move. Luis was the ONLY person who offered to come to my condo to see in person for a more accurate estimate. The contract and payment was smooth and prices very fair.When the IPS team arrived, it was like a team of family looking after the proper packing and securing of the items most important to me. They actually took my stress away immediately and made the move actually fun!! They were efficient and checked with me in anything they were not sure about and, quite obviously, gave their all to my move with energy and good cheer to spare!I opted to pack my items into a POD and they had experience with this method of storage and helped with that - not a single other company, save the handful of companies sponsored by PODs, who happily agreed to work with me in my desired method of transport.I cannot day enough how wonderful a Luis and his entire team were! I moved with IPS NYC Movers about two months ago and had an excellent experience. The movers (Diego, Danny, and Daryl) were very professional and extremely efficient as the entire move took only 2 hours. The movers were also extremely respectful of some personal issues I was having that day and were patient with waiting for me to arrive to my new location. All of my items were safely delivered and the price they charge is very fair. Even when there was a discrepancy with my total balance, the manager immediately issued me a proper refund. I highly recommended IPS movers.
IPS is a fantastic team! I found them online and could not have been happier with the quality of service prior to the move, during the move and afterwards.Its a tough job moving in NYC from the fourth floor, in the summer, with no elevator, but the guys never complained once, treated all our belongings well, and did us a few favors to make sure everything arrived safe and sound 6 hours away!You have a lot of options when moving, but IPS is a very capable, reliable, and affordable option!
A friend recommended this company and I was very glad he did! Luis did a great job providing a very competitive and accurate estimate and scheduling an excellent crew. The crew was very efficient and careful. This was a somewhat tricky move due to some oversized fragile pieces but the crew protected everything very thoroughly and everything arrived in perfect condition. There was a good 2 hour drive between locations so the day got kind of long but the guys kept going strong right to the end. I highly recommend this company. I suggest asking for Luis.
Our move went incredibly well thanks to IPS. Luis and his team were very professional, fast, efficient, handy, and a pleasure to work with. They made it all happen for us, whatever we needed throughout the move, it got done. They also carefully packed up much of our apartment including breakables and the entire kitchen. We would highly recommend IPS and will of course use them again in the future. 5 stars all around!

We were moving out of town, so we didn’t hire as a full service moving team, but instead just to load our rental truck. They did an incredible job - the truck was loaded perfectly and the blankets we had were used to wrap the pieces and nothing was damaged. The crew worked diligently and were all incredibly professional.I don’t anticipate needing moving services in the city again, but for anyone looking, I highly recommend IPS NYC Movers. They moved my brother about a year and a half ago, too, and he had a similarly positive experience. The McKean Family Stamp of Approval!
They were so efficient and very professional! They called saying they would be over in 25 minutes, which they were, and then we went through the paperwork and two hours later it was all done.Carlos and his team were so fast. I would strongly recommend IPS with one caveat, if you have any type of time restriction (like elevator reservations) I would strongly advise you to book your move for first thing in the morning (this advice really applies to all moving companies). I had an extremely tight moving window and on the day of our move IPS could not show on time due to unforeseeable circumstances. Luckily, I was able to scramble and switch a few things around for the move, and in the end it really worked out for the best. IPS did everything in their power to make up for the inconvenience, and I really appreciated how responsive and communicative my sales rep (Andre) was on the phone. I dont think that most moving companies would have handled the situation with so much professionalism.I booked the move and got a cost estimate by phone, which was very easy and straightforward. After doing some shopping around, I found IPSs price was on par or less than other moving companies of good repute.When it came to the actual move, we had a truly excellent experience with IPS. All of the guys (Chino, Milton, and Raymond) were super efficient, friendly and very professional. They worked tirelessly to get the job done and we had zero damage to our furniture or belongings.Overall, I think you would be in very good hands with IPS and would highly recommend!
Amazing, helpful and professional are few of the fine attributes that comes to mind about IPS movers. I needed to move some boxes into my apt and Andre worked with me and gave me a reasonable quote. The gentlemen came on time, they were quick and professional... they were finished within an hour and with the remaining time, they helped me put my bed together, break down boxes etc. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

We had a difficult move from Manhattan with a full 2 bedroom, a storage facility and a separate office location.They made sure everything was moved without a scratch. IPS NYC movers are simply amazing! They made the moving process so seamless for my husband and I. We just used IPS services for the second time and couldnt be more pleased with their level of professionalism and hard work. They conducted our long distance move about one year ago from Boston to NY when my husband and I got married. We also placed some of our belongings in one of their storage units at a very reasonable price. It was also one less hassle not having to shop around for a storage unit. This past weekend they conducted our local move helping us settle into a new apartment with such ease by having all the furniture set up. Our new apartment is a second floor duplex and they did an awesome job getting all the furniture settled in. I highly recommend IPS for your next move!
Great service! All of our furniture was moved without any damage, timely, and communicative. We had some issues with moving with our building and they worked with us very well without raising the price too much. Overall highly recommend, great movers and moved everything very quickly!
If you have moved at all in the past Im sure you can understand how stressful it can be. Excited to get into a new place but at the same time you need to make sure all of your belongings are taken care of properly. My wife and I planned the move the best we could but we knew wed need a professional company to really get us going. We reached out to Luis from IPS and they were outstanding. We had a cross town move here on Long Island. Yes it was only cross town but it was my Wife and I, plus 2 kids and a dog! Apparently we have a lot of things and IPS took care of every one of them. Everything was well packaged, organized, disassembled (if need), then reassembled at our new home. Luis and Jose were both onsite and they had a great crew of movers to go along with them. They moved us in about a month ago (Sept 2018) so once we got settled in I wanted to be sure to write a great review of our experience. This is really one of those instances where I could say I dont know what I wouldve done without them. Thank you IPS!
I moved last week, a colleague recommended Jason. These guys were great, easy to set up the move, on time, courteous, super efficient. Next time, Id know not to bother packing my clothes because they wrap the chest drawer, all the drawers and things inside. Theyve got all the tools like huge boxes to put many small banker boxes inside and roll them to the truck with a thing on wheels. I would recommend!
This is my second time using IPS and they just keep getting better. They are very reasonably priced. They are punctual and very kind and efficient. In the middle of the move out of my 6th floor apartment the elevator broke and IPS told me not to worry they are the movers and they will get the job done. Luckily the elevator was quickly repaired but their reassurance when it was broken did not go unnoticed. If you are looking to move I can not say enough good things about IPS.
Ive had the pleasure of working with IPS NYC Movers on two separate occasions and the experience was seamless each time. Both times I used IPS, were with my company for jobs that were considered large scale jobs. Luis the owner of IPS, personally came to provide an on sight estimate; he was prompt, courteous and super-efficient. Luiss response time to emails and phone calls were incredible and he was extremely thorough when explaining the services they provided including breaking down the pricing. My family recently moved from NYC to Philadelphia and I can say with complete satisfaction that the team at IPS were outstanding to work with. Luis & Jose and their team took great care to relocate my family and we couldnt have been happier with our choice to use them. Two years ago, we moved from one neighborhood in Queens to another (about 4 miles apart) and used a different moving company with horrendous results: things were rushed and broken and the job took hours over the time we were originally told it would take. Fast forward two years: we just moved two states away & over the course of two days but this time we used IPS and the move was flawless. Luis and Jose and the rest of their team were professional and thorough and did a tremendous job for us. If you are moving, look no further than IPS to help you get the job done right the first time. These guys really know what theyre doing and if my family finds itself moving back to NYC one day, I wouldnt hesitate one moment in giving IPS the job. PHENOMENAL JOB FROM THE TEAM. I was recommended IPS nyc movers from a friend. I called up there offices and spoke to a rep. I had to send pictures of my moms apartment which was the person that was moving. Off the pictures I received a quote which I was pleased about. I got a great deal. He set me up with 4 workers and a time. The day of move they were on time and even got me an extra worker to expedite the move time to save me $$ as well. My mom was very happy with the guys. I could not be more pleased with IPS’s efficiency and quality. Fantastic value for professional movers. They worked quickly and did not make me lift a finger. They secured my delicate belongings safely (large couch, televisions, glass tables, mirrors, dressers, chairs) and went above and beyond. I moved within NYC from a 1bd to a 2BD. If youre in their price range (which is modest), IPS is a great option for moving in NYC.They were willing to work with my outrageous schedule and come help me move on a Friday night. No damage, no hassle -- they were in-and-out on both ends of the move.My only complaint is that I wished they emphasized that there was a discount for paying with cash. That could have saved me some money. Otherwise, I am a satisfied customer.
Luis and his team did a great job ! They take the time to make sure you understand everything that is going to happen the day of the move. This was my first time using a moving company and I really lucked out. The three movers, Tony, Jean, and Angel, were amazing; super nice, fast and efficient. They kept me in the loop throughout the process and I felt very comfortable trusting them with taking care of my belongings.
As we all know, moving is highly stressful. Despite all that, I had a great moving experience with IPS NYC Movers. On the day of the move, the team consisting of team leader Ricardo, and his colleagues William, Simeon, Tyson, and Jayson arrived early. Ricardo went over the paper work. The entire team worked diligently and efficiently. They protected my furniture and took good care of all my belongings. The moving team was friendly, energetic and polite. These guys work really hard so we made sure to provide them with water and a quick lunch (this is heavy, hunger causing work!). If you want great customer service and people who know what they are doing, these are your guys!

IPS packed up our entire apartment while we were out of town - TV mount taken out of the wall, piano moved down three flights of stairs, vintage instruments packed away -- moved it into their storage for 6 months, and then moved it all into our new place and it went impressively smoothly! Piano is in perfect condition, instruments were taken care of well, happy with their service and would recommend!

IPS movers performed a complicated move for my boyfriend and I on April 31, 2018. We moved in together, and I had reached out to several moving companies to explain that we wanted 1 company to pick up all of our stuff from our separate apartments and bring everything to the new place we were moving into (rather than doing 2 separate moves). IPS gave us the best quote, and also let us know that our joint move would be no issue for them. Other moving companies quoted me much higher prices, and made it sound like the move would be very complicated (probably as a way to quote us a higher price).IPS then sent Louis to both of our apartments to assess our belongings and made sure to give us a final and accurate quote prior to the move. This was done at no charge, and they worked around our schedules. Louis is awesome, and a total pro at what he does. He was able to look at all of our stuff, which not only gave us an accurate quote, but made it so that the movers would know what to expect on the day, and be able to have a game plan and move everything very efficiently.Also, what really amazed me, is that Andre who works in their office called me back every time he said he would, and even checked in a few times leading up to the move which was so reassuring during a stressful time. Usually, I feel like I always have to chase people up, but that was never the case here! I had no question that the movers would show up as promised, on time, which was a question Ive had with other moving companies.On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time, and absolutely everything went smoothly. They came to my apartment first, packed up everything, went to my boyfriends place, did the same, and then brought everything over to our new 3rd floor walk-up. It was a tough move, as we have a lot of stuff, but they guys were so professional and never complained. They just worked steadily as a team until the job was done.IPS even threw in a few extra guys to get the job done within the quoted 3 hour time frame, and even though it took just a little longer and they added more men to the job, they kept the rate at exactly what had been quoted to us.Before we knew it, the job was done without a hiccup. Everyone involved was totally professional and polite. I get very stressed out in situations like this, and IPS really made it all very easy. There is a good reason they have such great reviews. I will DEFINITELY use them when it comes time to move again, and Id recommend them to everyone I know.

I can not recommend Luis and his entire team enough! They were beyond professional, fast and did the work with heart. We had a bed bug situation and thanks to Luis- a man who truly cares about helping people- the situation was taken care of so quickly that with the bed our entire problem was solved. I have an insect phobia and Luis practically calmed me through the entire process. They could not have been at my door faster and everything from the scheduling to the cleaning team and movers were so kind and professional and fast. They took my entire infected room, wrapped everything and carted it away to be fumigated or discarded. They made my little nightmare situation as pleasant and easy as it could possibly be. I also really appreciated the care and attention to detail when Luis was here- not letting anything out of the affected room without a complete wipe-down or wrapping, making sure that our problem remained contained. After our move, my wife & I commented to each other how easy, thoughtful, and well-organized the guys were compared to a half dozen other movers weve used throughout Brooklyn. They worked with us & our needs, determining the appropriate number of guys to complete our move within the time they estimated (we only went 30 minutes over). 10/10 would use again.
Where do I start? From the first point of contact I was impressed! Andre listened to my concerns and gave me a quote! Believe me I had over 30 companies calling my phone,I then got to meet Luis that was the icing on the cake! From the first phone call Rich and his team were professional and responsive. Moving is never easy and during a pandemic I didnt have the highest hopes.Rich gave me a fast (and accurate) quote quickly. No haggling, no trying to add on services.He stayed in touch before the move date and his team showed up at 9am ON THE DOT.They were moving boxes and furniture within five minutes of arriving.These guys were fast, but careful, polite but wasted no time.No extra charge to wrap my TV, no extra charge for a glass desk.Oe guy stayed with the truck so no tickets and I felt my stuff was safe.I was moved in two and a half hours, everything arrived, nothing broken or damaged. The guys asked where I wanted the heavy stuff so I wouldnt have to move it again.Ohhh and they charged me LESS than the quote because the move went so FAST.Not only would I use them again myself, but I will recommend them to everyone and anyone I know.Ohh and Rich follows up, to make sure youre satisfied.Five star experience.

The movers showed up right on time and finished more or less in the expected time frame. It was a super hot day when I moved, but they worked hard and took breaks as needed, but nothing exorbitant. They were very friendly and made me feel safe. Everything was moved in perfect shape - only one plastic container got a small crack in it, which is negligible. In talking to others, the price is right, if not a deal, for the quality and timelines of service. I would recommend them!The only negatives were that they got a parking ticket, and I dont know why- they didnt give an explanation except that it was added to the bill. They also hit a lot of traffic (not their fault) so when I was waiting (it took about 45 minutes longer than expected) I called the office and they couldnt get ahold of my movers.

Move both schedule for what I thought was last Friday unfortunately it was scheduled for the 8th which was a Thursday but I told everybody Friday and sent out the 8th. Reschedule quickly for Monday four guys showed up Gene Danny Hector and Cali. But when I talk to Cali, he said his name is Christian Kelly as in Columbia county Columbia is where hes from. Overall extremely energetic and efficient. I highly recommend IPS NYC movers for whatever you need them for.
Truly excellent professionals who work incredibly fast, carefully, and conscientiously. And theyre really nice guys, interesting to talk to.Ricardos team for my move was Ronnie and Diego.To start, Andre smoothly and efficiently handled the communication and scheduling, with help from Antonio who was also awesome.Luis came to visit for the assessment and put my mind at ease.Diego dropped off boxes, paper, and tape the next morning.The move went extremely well. I was pretty badly under-prepared and they were able to just take charge of my unpacked stuff, get it packed up and delivered carefully and respectfully. The move included an upright piano and large electric piano, some plants, and many more tricky items, and they didnt bat an eyelash. There was also a pretty tough hill involved on the dropoff end. They charged that hill.Yes, buy these guys some nice lunch and remember to leave some plates and glasses unpacked for plenty of water. This is high-energy work and they do it extremely well. This is the second time I’ve used these guys . They are very professional and polite . I had to call them a few times because the list of the items I was moving kept changing . Every time I called to update my list they were so nice and understanding. First time using IPS. Setting up the move was pretty standard.All furniture pieces were taken out of apartment without being wrapped in blankets. Finished furniture surfaces were slid across truck bottom. Some pieces, including a large picture frame, were tossed into a wardrobe box with the wardrobe bar to be knocked around. Almost all pieces suffered minor damage.Did not have a wrench set to disassemble bed; I went and bought one for them to use.
These guys are the best and I would recommend them without hesitation. I had a complicated move that required me to store my belongings for a few days. I also had to switch my move date twice which they did without any issue. Their prices are fair, they are honest and trustworthy. Don’t look anywhere else!

Luis Hidalgo is that rare professional in the industry who does not have dollar signs where a heart and brain should be. He patiently made himself available on numerous occasions to answer my questions and hold my hand during my bedbug ordeal. Even when, at the eleventh hour necessity forced me to decide on a heat treatment that did not involve the type of preparation he offers, he did not abandon me. He is honest, compassionate and kind, and I am certain that I will use him for any moving needs that I might have in the future.
Just about every single box, piece of furniture, etc. had damage to it. I have a 12 scratch in my new hardwood floors. A 9 scrape in solid wood and missing piece of metal leg in my desk. My solid pine bed has a chip and a dent in two different places from being dropped both outside on the street and inside my new apartment (the latter which caused the 12 scratch in my floor). My lamps and similar items were placed without any protection into a wardrobe box-- and 4 lamps are broken. My furniture was not placed in protective blankets, like I was told it would be. And my boxes ranged from having holes in them, to being fully ripped open. I was given the estimate that the move would take 4-5 hours, and was charged for 8 hours (the move took 7-- I was told only on the day of the move that they charge an extra hour). I contacted IPS 5 days after my move about my dissatisfaction and the damage and never heard back. I understand that no move is perfect, but the sheer amount of damage, hidden costs, etc., is totally unacceptable.

2021-10-14IPS moved us last week from Boerum Hill to Crown Heights and they did an awesome job.I contacted a number of moving companies to get quotes; IPS was the only one to have a representative willing to come over and give us a careful estimate. John was kindness and courtesy personified. When our plans changed at the last minute he was understanding and accommodating.We had a lot of books to move. IPS scheduled a day of packing followed by a day of moving. The packing team was careful and thorough. The moving crew the next day was a Dream Team and they packed up the trucks quickly and efficiently. Special thanks to Luis and Bernard for moving our heavy sofa bed down a narrow stairwell without a murmur of complaint. Brandon, Kevin, Oscar and John also did a fantastic job.I would definitely hire IPS the next time we have to move. Their pricing was transparent and there were no surprises or hidden extras. The moving crew were hard-working, personable and honest. THANK YOU, guys!

2022-04-14IPS movers was strongly recommended by a third party vendor. We initially connected with Luis, an owner, who immediately demonstrated that he was kind, thoughtful and accommodating to our needs surrounding a temporary move of all of our items. He was respectful of our situation and provided useful suggestions. The move price was also very fair for NYC. On the days of the moving in and out, Luis and his partner Carlos were supervising the movers on what to pack and how to pack. They carefully wrapped all the furniture and delicate items. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move. The movers were very respectful and just all around nice individuals.We strongly would recommend IPS moving and we will most likely use them in the future.

2022-03-07I cant recommend IPS enough!! Super pleasant and helpful from start to finish. We were recommended IPS by Andy with NYC Bedbug Fumigation Services. When I called to get a quote, I was immediately impressed with how kind and competent their office was. Bedbugs are, obviously, a pretty stressful situation and I truly felt better as soon as IPS picked up the phone! Luis came to do an in-home estimate, and it was so helpful to get an accurate quote and to know how to pack everything effectively for the fumigation process. All our stuff was packed and unpacked quickly, efficiently, and safely--everything arrived in perfect condition, and for an extremely reasonable price. The moving guys were super friendly and handled everything with care. The whole ordeal of bedbugs and moving was made completely painless and Im so grateful to everyone who helped us through it. First time using a moving company rather than just doing it ourselves, and IPS now has our business for life.

The company was super responsive and easy to get in touch with throughout the process, and the move itself went *so* smoothly - they were exactly on time, did everything incredibly quickly, and were fun and entertaining people. They really took care of everything and made the move way less stressful. Strongly recommend.

From the moment I called to get a quote from John, I knew I was in good hands. Carlos (foreman) and his team, Manny, David and Oscar were amazing. 2022-03-26This is my third time using IPS Movers and I will continue to use them for every move in the future. The customer service was outstanding start to finish. The team of movers that I had the pleasure of working with was made up of Carlos, Jose, Juan, and Ralph. Not only were they extremely efficient, but they all had fantastic attitudes throughout the entire process. They were moving me out of a 5 floor walkup in NYC, so that is no easy feat. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and team to anyone who needs moving services in the future.

2021-12-17I had a great experience with IPS when moving in Manhattan. From the start, IPS was responsive and professional as I was receiving quotes and planning the move. They had the best pricing I found and a great customer experience.Once it was time to move, 4 movers came over (led by Rome) and were extremely friendly, careful, and efficient. We were moving into a difficult walk-up, however, they put all effort forth to get it done quickly to save us money while still taking great care of the valuables. Overall, the move was significantly easier than expected because of them.

The move itself went super smoothly, the three guys and a truck showed up and easily grabbed and loaded all of my things for storage with care. 2022-02-23I had an amazing experience working with IPS NYC movers! We had a rush job (contacted IPS Monday night for a Friday move) that was complicated by a blizzard and fumigation treatment. Luis came to our apartment to do a walkthrough the same day I reached out to give us a recommendation on the correct sized truck, moved our move day up a day so that we could get out of our apartment on time with the snowstorm, and was extremely responsive throughout the whole ordeal. He communicated throughout the move to keep us up-to-date. The whole team was so helpful, efficient, and careful. We had zero breakage, loss, or damage. Carlos, Bernard, and Jose were amazing with the unloading, too. Highly recommend going with this team!!
