I’ve been here couple times for stand-up show. The show itself was quite good, really funny, show hosts are very positive, open and merry. The theatre itself is quite old, chairs are not so modern and comfortable, very littel space between them, and it is small. Stage is very simple and has no additional decoration, just old carpet on the floor.

The long awaited new center is beautiful. The performance space is excellent with great sight lines and the acoustics sounded good to my ears. Nice bar, too.

Great dessert with a cuppa. Barman had zero sense of humor. Rest of staff friendly from Covid id check all the way to the kind usher. Singer Camille OSullivan was a combination of brilliant and magic. Total 1ofakind experience full stop.

I had never been here before attending a performance a few months ago of I hear You and Rejoice, a one man show by Mikel Murfi, which was fabulous. The Center is a multi-artistic venue with performance (music, dance and theater), visual arts and education focus. I had never heard of the Center before attending the play, and confused it with the Irish Rep. (Almost went to the wrong place!) We had a wonderful evening and looking at the other offerings, I expect to attend more events.

We enjoyed a wonderful play at the Irish Arts Center -- I Hear You and Rejoice. The one man show was written and preformed by Mikel Murfi. Without sets, props, or costumes, he transpored us to a place where we were in a church at a funeral service - and it felt completely true. The play was both humorous and very moving. One we will recommend to everyone!
