Amazing place. In the fall, there are fun things for kids and families to do including a hayride, corn maze, and petting zoo. There are also their classic pumpkin figures that everyone love to look at. They also have a great selection of pumpkins. Outside of fall, they sell herbs and other plants that are fun to grow and take care of. They also sell great desserts such as pie.
Service here is great! They have good deals on large medium and small pumkins! They also have loads of acorn squash, corn stalks, butternut squash, and other products! Including a petting zoo, dairy products, and attractions! Like the, haunted barn! And corn field mazes! I give Iron Kettle a 5 star!
Ive been going here since I was a child. It has a country store with homemade things. Fruits and veggies and more in the main outdoor store. In the fall they have something for everyone like pumpkin people exhibits from kids stories, petting animals, hay ride, corn maze, good foods. Stop in and have fun and just enjoy the day.
Wonderful place to take your family to!! Ever since I was little and can remember, my mom always took my sister and I. Now I take my son every year! We have always looked forward to seeing the Pumpkin characters!!! And the corn maze and obstacle courses are so much fun!! Highly recommend!!!
Lots of activities for young and old, maze, carnival games, food, hay rides, spooky & fun house and lots of farm animals. Price was reasonable for 15 bucks each band, which got the kids on everything. As no complaints where heard, i conclude any short attention span child will have a half day of enough activities
Ye olde Iron Kettle is some down home wholesome good time. A tradition for many with some reliable attractions like The spook Barn to test the mettle of the young ones, a decent corn maze... Though not to tricky, petting zoo, hayrides and some slides and pumpkin installation scenes. They sell tickets or a day-long bracelet for the little attractions... I like to check this one off the list on a day when a lot of people wont be there. The food is decent for the price. I recommend the cider slushie and the donuts but the chili dogs and waffle fries are also good in a pinch. We like to grab a pumpkin or two on our way out and try to get through the gift shop without blowing our wads.
We love coming to Iron Kettles Farm. My children are all grown and they still like to go. They have yummy food and a lot of things to do there. The stuff are all very friendly and are there to help in anyway they can. Thank you Iron Kettles farm for all the fun there.
So so so so much fun and the staff was amazing. They answered every possible question I could think of about their flowers. There is an old yellow lab that wanders around he is super friendly and sweet. This place is AMAZING I will definitely be back and look forward to all the fall and Halloween festivities
Its a great place to go in the fall and when you want to experience those octobery activities with a significant other or family. It isnt just a corn maze or just a pumpkin patch, it has a little of it all, enjoy and hay ride then go explore the corn maze. A lot of fun.
Love this place for fall fun. Prices are good, the features and activities are enough to keep kids and adults entertained. I especially love the animals that folks can interact with. The corn maze was fun, though seriously swampy/ muddy this year becuase of all the rain.
Iron Kettle is one of the few place I try never to miss going to each year during the fall season. Ive been going here for most of my life. Its a fun family safe placed to go on rides, enjoy food, walking around seeing the pumpkin people, or go to a haunted barn, or even going to buy crafts and or pumpkins and apples and seeing live animals.
We went with our families after leaving another pumpkin farm that didnt have much at all to do. Iron Kettle had so many things open, and they were being safe and cleaning after use. Loved the updated costumes on the pumpkin displays and the wrist band price to let the kids do anything they wanted and as many times and they wanted was a great addition. We spent several hours there and enjoyed every minute.
We had so much fun at Iron Kettle! They have endless games, rides, booths, much like a fall festival but better. My 3 yo loved the obstacle course, the spooky barn, the farm animals, even the wagon ride and corn maze. We absolutely loved having a refreshment apple cider slushy to cool us off on the 80°day. As for me as an adult, I enjoyed the farm stand, picking out pumpkins, crafts and scenery such a beautiful day for a ride! We literally spent almost 7 hours on the farm. So if you go prepare to have hours of endless fall fun. Much thanks to the families at Iron Kettle! See you next year!
Very nice farm for picking and buying fresh produce and also flowers. In the fall they put on an amazing selection of activities and attractions that are a must see! This includes; hayrides, corn maze, animals, fall themed snacks, a children’s play area, many many photo opportunities, and much much more.
Our kids had a great time there. Lots of parking in the field. No problem parking my truck. We really enjoyed our visit there. However I did not know that I needed to plan on bringing extra cash for my kids to do things there. I only put a 20 in my pocket for the pumpkins and that was it. Next time I will be better prepared.
I used to enjoy the place when I was younger. Higher rating because the staff is nice, but over the past few years it seems to have lost the same vibe it used to. I wouldnt reccomend the candy apples or the baked goods, but the jams and fudge are pretty nice and so are the pumpkins.
We had an amazing experience at this gorgeous little family farm!!!The owner let us tour the place and enjoy the sweet farm vibe! Everything is so clean and you can see that the animals are so happy to live there!!More then that, I must say that the owner was so kind to us when we realized we forgot my baby toy at the farm after we left and they found it and shipped it for us immediately. If you consider a fun family trip in this area, the farm should be a must stop on your trip!!!
Food wasnt great, parking attendant was clueless, and they do not practice anything even remotely akin to social distancing. They literally load people on the rides shoulder to shoulder with complete strangers, and their definition of sanitizing is wiping a cloth along 1/20 of a handrail and walking away. The corn maze was a disappointment after having visited others in the area over the past few years. The shops were nice though and the staff was extremely friendly.
A friend and I picked up a pumpkin here and delayed carving it for three days due to not having time around work. We carved into the top of it and found white fuzz on the inside later discovering it’s a carcinogenic mold. After doing some research this could have been caused by the way it was harvested/grown. Be aware of selecting pumpkins here, we went on 10/08.
Very well put together, a great spectacle from an artistic stand point as well as very creative for families and children alike. Ive seen this place grow buy using simple things that theyve put a lot of effort and thought into. Anyone with children should take their children and have a great time. Plenty of food services and many things to do as a family. If you dont have a good time then youre doing something wrong. Youre children are in areas where you cant lose them and you can observe them while having a great time yourself.
Weve gone to Iron Kettle the past 2 years with our daughter. We are making it into a yearly tradition for Halloween!! I absolutely am in love with this place and its always an exciting day when we get to come. October/Halloween is our families favorite season and holiday. We look forward to all the memories we can make here. Thank you!
Go here every year. Its a wonderful place for families to go in the fall lots of fun minigames to play. The corn maze still tricks us every year. Also love the outside pumpkins all dressed up. Its a fun little museum. Hay ride is also very fun. Cinnamon donuts highly recommended. Apple cider also delicious, but be careful of bees if it is hot. Have been going here for a very long time and would highly highly recommend
I read many of the negative reviews and we decided to go anyway, travelling an hour and 15 minutes to get there. The facility is very nice, the employees are exemplary. They are respectful, helpful and knowledgable. I tried to tip the man on the little kids hay ride and he refused to take the tip. Each employee was nicer than the next. Ive read that the cost of the food is very high. This is totally false. Anyone that has been to any type of amusement park would find the prices comparable if not cheap. The food concessions are clean and extremely quick. I highly recommend this place as a great family destination
Many great outdoor activities! Fairly populated with general mask compliance by attendees in the face of plentiful warning signage and available hand sanitizer. We enjoyed many safely distanced seasonal outdoor activities including mini train and tractor pulled wagon car rides, slide and climbing structures, miniature bike rink rolling, pumpkin costume figure displays, elevated goat feeding, plenty of animals to admire, and more for a reasonable entertainment ticket fee per activity.
Amazing Farm to visit in the fall. Its got loads of pumpkin art, a huge selection of delicious fall produce and baked goods, and lots of animals to interact with. Its got a fun hayride, a corn maze and lots of other stuff for children. In the fall they can be a little bit busy on the weekends but if you go during the week you can take it all in without the crowds. Worth stopping by every year.
Absolutely would not take my kids there !!! Im a horrible parent and I wouldnt want my kids to have fun ...with of of those donuts and fun amazing attractions ...like the petting zoo and the hay Rideau the haunted house ...Oh and Absolutely wouldnt want my kid being happy picking a pumpkin...so thats why me and a horrible parent wouldnt want to bring my kids there !!! P.S to all you good parents out there take your kids here its absolutely amazing
Prices are expensive for pumpkins but you neednt spend money to enjoy the place. Just walking around the flowers/ pumpkin people/ gift shop/ animals/ and playground are enough to fill an afternoon with fun. My sister and I take our children every year-pack lunches and picnic in the picnic area and have a blast. Everyone is very friendly.
Worth the drive for us aboit 1 hour 15 mins from our home. Prices fair and expected for tourist area. Love all the activities for kids and adults alike. Nice and friendly staff. Clean facilities. Recommend weekend visit for the wristband or if you want less crowds during the week tickets. Great fall festival feel. Cider donuts and cider slushie are worth every penny, hot the craving for fall festival foods. Will be returning to this awesome farm for more family fun for years to come!!
A wonderful family friendly place to enjoy Halloween and Autumn as a whole. Theyve got a spooky haunted house, fairy-tale themed hay ride, lots of farm animals to pet and feed, corn maze, miniature train ride, and much more. Great food is available for purchase. A souvenir/craft shop is open with lots of great stuff. Tons of pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Fresh apples, gourds etc. Weve been coming for years and will continue at least once every year in the future.
Pumpkin patch with lots of things for the littles to do and animals for them to pet and feed. Delicious food at the country store and at the counters outside. Hay rides, corn maze for adults and for the littles, pumpkin sling shots, and pedal tractor race. Free off road parking. All of the employees are very friendly......
Fun place to go with family and/or friends. Kid friendly with kid activities. Awesome food such as: donuts, caramel apples, chili cheese fries, nachos, and more! The best pumpkins ever and there are many shapes, sizes, and colors! Theres a lot to do: visit/feed farm animals, mazes, games, hay ride, and a store with household goods! Highly recommend.
We take our kids here every year around Halloween. This is such a great family environment for fall. They have great displays for kids to enjoy, farm animals, corn mazes, different rides, pumpkins, apples, and other goods. Just an all around great place to go around Halloween.
Delightfully friendly staff, and a great place to visit overall. It can be crowded very often, and if youre not into great food, arts, costumes, decorations and crafts, you may get a little bored. Then again, there are other activities (Id recommend the corn maze, personally). Also, a challenging and fun running course for long distance runners, with permission from the owners.
3 stars because my daughter still had fun and it was overall a nice atmosphere except for when we were in line for the ticket booth for 10 mins. Which is fine. I’m not complaining about the wait. What upset me is that some man with 3 kids came up to the beginning of the line when it was my turn and said he didn’t want to wait in line. So the person working the booth said I’m gonna take this guy with the kids instead of us who waited Atleast 10 mins in the hot sun with my ONE year old. Would have been a little more professional if he asked “ do you mind if I take this guy first” instead of pushing us back in line and making us wait for someone who didn’t wait in line at all. Almost like the ticket booth worker knew the guy. I’m not usually a complainer but that was totally unprofessional and I think anyone would be upset about that.
Great corn maze. Very close to the active train tracks. Should have signs posted that trains pass frequently with the number of children present!I do wish there were some more free activities as advertised. Had a great time though. Was just more expensive than we had planned to spend.
Have visited every year around Halloween, as they have an awesome FREE display. Fun stuff for the kids to do, hay rides, apple cider donuts, and all kinds of animals. The goats have an awesome 2 story pen. Did i mention apple cider donuts. (Thats really the adult reason to take thr kids)
Tons of stuff for kids to do. Every attraction costs tickets but prices are fair enough. Pumpkin picking is done out of a pile rather than being able to go pick one out of the field yourself :-/ and is a drawback for me. Corn maize is okay and a good level of complexity for kids to handle.
Our family loves Iron Kettle. They have an absolutely fantastic Halloween display, and their activities durimg the Spooktacular are all inclusive, for every age. The food is a bit pricey though. Spring and summer are amazing for buying plants and watching the animals and their new babies. Great family place.
Very friendly people that are willing to help find anything they have to sell. Baked goods are amazing by these people however there is a very very very slim pickings. Would have gotten five stars if they had more to sell that involved the general passerby such as snack foods that are homemade by them, animal friendly treats that are also made by them, and anything artistic that you cant buy at Walmart. the use of the signs then the small kitten things that are made out of wood and stuff take up about 30% of their store and are absolutely not something most people are going to stop buy. If there were more foods and fresh food stuff candies lollipops in a homemade this would be a much busier store than what it is now.
This is the last year I will go there, it is to commercial now, every prepared food you by, like hot food is cash only, and tickets for rides are cash only. It used to be a family fun place, now it just seems like its money oriented. There produce pricing is not consistent either, a person can get a bushel of squash for 12.00, and you can mix the squash, but the apples that are the same price, you cant mix those to make a bushel. Now Im not talking about picking one apple of every variety, Im talking about they only had half a bushel left of one variety and I want to full up the rest of the bushel with another apple that cost the same for the 19.00 so I didnt have to pay for 2 half bushels which is a higher price. And after I purchased my produce have a huge cart full, there was no one to help me out, didnt even offer and as a result while exiting the store the wagon ran into my feet because of the decline of the door way into the parking lot. And I yelled loudly when this happened asking for help and the only one that helped get the wagon of my leg was another customer. I am not seriously hurt just a bruis . But if that was an older person they may have got a broken bone. My family, and theres a lot of us, wont be going to Iron kettles anymore.
Twas the last day of Fall they were open. The place was damp and muddy then a moments later we came, it rained. And that didnt stop us to enjoy the day and the place. It didnt bother me to get all dirty from mud and get soak in the rain, but it would be nicer if we came weeks before that. Without a doubt, well come back again next year, but not on a rainy day!
Ive been visiting here since I was young. Growing up in the Finger Lakes weve driven by here many times. Today was the second time Ive taken my own family including my 2 year old child. We live in the Ithaca & were meeting our childs Grandma to enjoy the day. My childs sweet, well behaved and so happy yesterday. We were playing by the pumpkin area, with wagons for public use. An employee saying he was an owner aggressive yelled at me swore, telling me to stop, threatening me & my child-waited until nobody else was around. He got very close, violating my space, in front of my child no less. He was an abusive man, the way he acted, approached me was violent, beyond inappropriate to say the least. I was in shock, the situation was absolutely utterly uncalled for. There were piles of pumpkins. It was a frightening, horrific experience & all we were doing was enjoying the pumpkins, my child was having such an enjoyable time picking them up & putting them in the little wagon himself. Thats what made me the saddest. He never dropped or damaged any of them, nothing like. I keep going back over the situation. I should have just walked away, screamed, but I was shocked, felt I should put the pumpkins back, like I was. There werent any signs. I even asked the other employee if it was okay to play load the pumpkins( I planned to put them back upon leaving). He said it was fine & friendly.I am a kind hearted person, have a hard time dealing with people when they disrespect me so blatantly. (I was so happy in my heart seeing my child enjoying himself so much, relaxing for toddler momma 🙃). Its frightening traumatic, I usually dont know what to say at the time. Especially MEN treating WOMEN that way. I couldnt even think I was in such shock, it came out of NO where him attacking me, it was like a mental episode a person acting out on a complete stranger. Please DONT support this place, by informing others of this incident. An abusive ignorant big man taking out his anger on a calm, innocent mother, her 2 year old doing nothing wrong only trying to enjoy a nice family outing. Theres enough unjustified stress hate, why does He make more? It ruined my experience. This man is a total stranger & doesnt know anything about me, such a stupid choice. There are many other beautiful places to enjoy please go there, enjoy life, precious families. Thanks for listening take care.(Still saddened absolutely uncalled for rage/absurdity that occurred at the Pumpkin Farm. Ive been enjoying this place for 38+ years, & I have many happy/special memories being there. My family has eaten food, my mom has bought items in the shop. I remember when it was a smaller operation. We used to stop there yearly on route to Broome CT buying flowers what was seasonal. Wed go to a smaller one with a lot of candies, near Campville. Tioga Gardens. We ate sticky buns there was a big bee, thats closed. Im affiliated with Longview whos been there. Ive lived in NYC, never experienced this kind of awful treatment from anyone in any situation great or small, really. It truly felt like an abusive man bullying an innocent kind woman & her young child, enjoying a break, playing with pumpkins a wagon causing no harm, simply enjoying life-pure joy. Isnt that whats best in life? If something WAS wrong wouldnt you appropriately talk to the customer? Its scary, creepy, sad. Then after I walked away, sat with my family cried, my son began crying. The man drove by in a cart just looking at us with a terrible grin so disgusting! So sick! Especially when you really examine the situation at WHOLE. Thanks again for listening to my true story of the events. I am very sorry this happened, hope it never does again. I hope my child is kind, loving, knows when something isnt healthy can express what needs to be said at the right time. Its hard to have the words to say even when you know inside youre absolutely not at fault, or at all guilty).
If I didnt have to leave a star this place would get none.I paid 11.75 for a apple pie and it taste bland .the price of stuff keeps going up year after year I no because Ive been going there for 30 years its to bad someone is letting greed kick them in the ass .must be this place. Is a hand me down to someone with a silver spoon is there butt .have a good day

2022-02-23Its ok, but its really more the tradition of going and the hype people make it to be then actually being that great. They have a ton of stuff but everything is WAY over priced. We go every year , the kids enjoy looking at the pumpkin people (which is free) , the animals (which is free, except some quarters to feed them) and we usually do the corn maze and spook barn. As mom I always make sure to get the traditional watch me grow picture. Its always super crowded. The line for tickets is always long. You need to know exactly how many tickets you need as you dont want to buy any extra at $1.25 per ticket. If you have the ability to tell your kids no and not do everything there is there and just pick 1 or 2 pay things then just enjoy the free things , as long as you dont mind crowds (and usually some mud) then its a fun family place. Make sure you go between meals so you dont have to eat there and if you plan on eating there take cash and a lot of it. Also dont fall into the pumpkin farm trap. *If you get a *4 pumpkin at some place like Aldi BEFORE you go to the pumpkin farm the kids wont beg you for $12+ pumpkin (thats the same size) at the pumpkin farm.

2021-10-18Really nice experience! It was pretty busy, but the lines werent too long, and theres a lot to do. The pumpkins were a little expensive for my taste, but they have a large variety. Lots of animals to look at and feed. Corn maze, haunted house, hay ride, etc. You name it, they have it. Good fresh baked food and drinks also. Very fun for the family.

2021-10-18Iron Kettle is a GREAT place to visit with family(especially children) and friends. There are more attractions than I can name but a few of my favorites are the corn maze, the childrens obstical course, the spooky barn, fun coral and slides, seeing live farm animals including peacocks(one was orange, yellow and red and looked like a Fire Phoenix) The food and atmosphere are amazing. Prices are not bad but I highly recommend getting there a little early, we arrived at 11 and it was not crowded until about 2pm.

2021-11-06My kids make sure we go every year! Always a good time feeding animals, doing the corn maze 🌽, and checking out the spook barn! They are mostly in it for the treats, though...caramel apples, pumpkin donuts....😋

2022-05-03You could not find pleasanter staff anyplace! knowledgeable - will go to any lengths to help you - one time at my request they left corn for me at the back of their building because I was going to be late picking it up. My favorite place to stop in Spring, Summer and Fall! Joyce from Montrose

2017-10-01Hay ride, haunted house, food and displays were all good...kids had a blast. Nice variety of games, but the teens working then were less than friendly and not attentive. Overall a fun visit.

2021-11-11Iron kettle is always a decent go to for October. Little pricey on the wrist bands and tickets with 4 of us but understandable. Corn maze seemed more kid friendly and you couldnt really get lost. But the scenes were nice. Hayride is excellent (Ive always liked them) and most of the staff seemed like they wanted to be there which was good.
