I love this spot so much because of the Burger king that is here. All other rest stops have McDonalds which I am not a huge fan of. The Parking lot is clean and the spaces are far enough apart that you didnt feel like you will hit another car backing up. The Restrooms are clean and there is always someone in there cleaning. There is a free phone charging station too that is new looking.
Traditional stopping service plaza with a McDonalds and a pizza place. There is ample parking available and a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables. Prices are average for a service plaza up north. Bathrooms are clean. The line at the food places are a little long so be ready to wait 2 to 3 minutes for your food. There is a free phone charging station, but it does not seem to work properly.
Very nice Rest Area/travel plaza. Exceptionally clean restrooms, a few different fast food restaurants to choose from, gas station and convienence store all under 1 roof!! Plenty of tables to sit and eat, or just sit and rest. Was there during the day, but saw many light post, so Im assuming it is well lit at night.
Nice stop as far as rest stops go. They have a Sunoco for gas and a Tim Hortons, Villa Pizza and Checkers. Food options seem to be covered since you have Villa Pizza which also serves local ice cream, checkers which has burgers, fries, and sandwiches and then Tim Hortons which has everything else. Tim Hortons has coffee, donuts, bagels, as well as a variety of drinks (hot and cold) and sandwiches which are pretty good. I had an avocado BLT from there which I did enjoy and exceeded my expectations of a sandwich from a donut/breakfast shop. Bathrooms are typical. Some vending options there and a general shop with travel stuff and stuff you you would expect to find in a deli/market. Few stands in the front including a sunglass stand and a stand selling fresh fruit and honey/honey products. Staff was friendly in my experience.
The bathrooms were neglected for a whole shift and were horrible. Dirty, many stalls out of toilet paper. Cleaning girl that came on for her shift was just starting and she was coming into a big mess. Her attitude was positive and she was very kind amd apologetic for the mess she inherited.
Possibly the dirtiest mens room I have seen in the past 20 years, and I have been around the world 3 times. Restaurant staff was surley. This is probably the New York experience being touted on all the highway signage. If you need to take a bathroom break along this stretch of the highway, youre better off finding a bush.
The rest room area clean and the staff there are ready to serve you. Many heathy item to choose from but expensive . Take the exit to Little Falls and there a Price Choppers and whole foods coop op with some nice local cheeses and foods. The hours are odd but check before going. Also you could find some fine dinning there as well .
General conditions were fine, we had burgers and fries - bathrooms clean as was table area.My biggest complaint lies in the refueling area, why do these idiots insist on going the wrong way into the fuel lines, if you are stupid enough to buy a car with the fill on the wrong side, be prepared to have the hose dangle on your car when you pump gas with your car going the right way through the pump area. And then there were 2 cars full of Canadians that after pumping gas, decided to leave their cars at the pumps while they all went to the restrooms and also ordered their lunches before moving from the pumps?????
This I-90 rest stop has a Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Mobil gas and an actual farmers market which is a long table of beautiful produce from local farms that cost far less than what youd pay at the store. We bought two huge white onions for three dollars and two fresh beets for one dollar each, any size. We bought one large and one medium. The Burger King whopper on a pretzel bun my partner said was really good. I tried the new power breakfast egg sandwich at DDs on an English muffin, also very good.
All the New York Thruway stops are good. It is important to read the information signs posted, before pulling in. This one has a Dumkin Doughnuts vs. Starbucks, to each his own.Bathroom was clean. We made out total stop in less than 20 minutes. Prices are higher, but there is a price for convenience.Overall, this is a good stop.
Wonderful!!Inside and out were spotless, with gorgeous views of foliage in all directions. An excellent playground for youngsters and young at heart.Inside, restrooms spotless and well-attended..the attendant was friendly and engaging, with a pleasant farewell.And...to top it off..multiple choices of local farm-fresh sandwiches and drink ..a terrific surprise! Definitely, a wonderful template for other states to follow.(What used to be known as a win-win-win situation).
Dunkin very slow service, there was a sign up that said cider donuts , so I ordered a half dozen, cashier said pay first then pick your donut. Turns out that they havent had cider donuts for a while. Why not take the sign down? Stopped at a dunkin in the a.m. got a bacon and egg crossiant there was a bug in my sandwich they did make me a new one and refund my money. I understand things happen they took care of there problem. Again wondering this is the third Dunkin I have been to since being in New York very disappointed.
Terrible. Someone had sprayed a liquid #2 all over one of the mens room stalls, it was a horrid sight and the odor had me gagging. Second, the restaurants on this stretch of the Thruway are odd... A Roy Rogers and then 2 areas in a row with Burger King. Eastbound, meanwhile, gets a Roy Rogers followed by 2 McDonalds locations. Why Roy Rogers? We dont even have those locally. And why 2 of the other in a row in each direction, instead of mixing it up?
One of several service plazas on the NY Thruway. About 44 miles west of the Pattersonville plaza, currently has a Burger King and Dunkin Donuts. Free WiFi also available. Has a gas station as well. Prices, like all of the plazas, are a bit high but very convienent while travelling.
I was surprised when I walked in the bathroom usually new york service plaza are clean this one was looked liked it wasnt cleaned for days Burger King for the prices they charge you food should at least be fresh the Burger I got was cold and it look like it was hours old I will not try and stop their again and if I have to it will be for a cup of coffee at dunkin donuts the only good thing about that place.

2019-05-06Nice, smaller travel plaza featuring a store stocked with refreshments and items for travel (toiletries, car chargers, sun block, etc). Clean modern bathrooms, vending machines and massage chairs ($1 per 3 minutes). Wooden sculpture at entrance, along with a historical plaque. Free and fast wi-fi. Ample parking out front.

2021-06-11The gas attendant at this location is not professional or friendly - at all.If this was our 1st impression of New York, then we would definitely think twice about coming back to this area again or, at least, this Travel Plaza.I came out of the plaza from using the restroom. My husband was cleaning our windows before I went in, but he had went to the restroom too afterwards. When I came out looking for him, our group was waiting in the car. I headed back towards the plaza to find my husband. The attendant started yelling at me from a distance. At first, he was just yelling ma’am, but I wasn’t aware that he was yelling at me until someone from my group yelled at me.When I turned around, the attendant was yelling angrily at me while pointing and throwing his hands and arms around as if I had just broken a law: “You have to move this (vehicle) now! When you come in, you have to get your gas and move on. There’re parking spots over there. You can’t leave your car here. I will call someone and you’ll get a ticket.”I could barely get a word in. I tried to explain to him that my husband had the key and he was in the restroom. However, he didn’t care. In fact, he said: “I don’t care! Move it!” He kept mouthing off as he turned to go back to his post.I have never seen so much rudeness or disrespect out of a man in his position.Would it be too much to ask someone politely to please move their vehicle? Then, listen with the same respect when he/she tries to explain to you that you have to get the key in order to move it. Where are people’s manners anymore? Some people should not work in positions where you have to deal with the public - case in point with this guy. If this is a major deal or a rule, then post a sign and ask your customers politely when or if you have to approach them with requests. There is no need to be hateful, rude, demanding, and downright nasty.

2021-07-11Mens restroom smelled of urine when I walked in. I looked around on the floors and there is a layer of urine around all the edges and corners of the floor. When I mentioned this to the staff, I was told that it is not what I think and that they have other pressing things to do.As I am a certified structural drying specialist, I know exactly what I am seeing and smelling and this place should be professionally cleaned and sanitized properly. This is unsafe for young children and adults with underlying health issues.

2021-03-23I travel the NYS Thruway daily, and stopped in most of the rest areas from NYC to Buffalo. They are almost the same. The difference is the fast food businesses or a variation similar. Also there are ones that have local offerings that make up the farmers market on select rest areas. I have bought several quarts of honey at different ones. The bathrooms are usually clean and maintained. For me they are a quick comfort stop and clean bathrooms are high on my list. There is signage for the use of every other basin, or Urinals to adhere to the CDC recommended social Distancing and usage of masks at all times.
