Food is delicious, generous proportions and pricing is very reasonable compared to competitors. I have ordered lunch from here twice now for myself and co-workers and everyone was satisfied.Most importantly the falafel was actually good and tender and not an overcooked rock like most Greek places serve.

I rarely give reviews but after trying here I know I needed to.Their food is simply awesome. Its quality food that is fresh with real fresh salad and grilled veggies. You can tell that they prepare their food with care.The sauces are nice and seem homemade. Their portions are great as well as their prices.Service is excellent as well and I hope more people find this place and they keep their quality up!!You wont regret coming here.
This place was amazing. I discovered by accident as I was getting car inspection. One of the best quality gyros I had and tasted exactly as in Greece. Huge portion too and staff super nice. If this was located on middle neck there would be huge line. Only issue here is location since not many people walk around there but Ill definitely be ordering for delivery.
Great food, very generous portions and freshness to die for! My first time to try this place and I cant wait to go back again! Very neat place, I may add. Speaking also of great personality at the front ~ the young girl has the sweetest smile and very courteous, which counts a lot in the food business or any business. I have spread the word to a few about this place so expect your place to get mobbed in no time.
My daughter and I placed an order on the phone the lady was so pleasant and sweet . That even if the food was bad it didnt matter .but the food was amazing!!!! So it made the best .thank you the that lady I felt amazing my daughter and I felt great .

One of the best gyro sandwiches I had in my life. I had a craving for a gyro sandwich and this establishment definitely satisfied my craving. Gyro sandwich was huge and delicious😋. Curly fries were nice and crispy. Tzatziki sauce was excellent and the honey mustard for the fries was good as well, Not too spicy. If youre in the great neck area you can not go wrong with IslandGyro. I drove from BK and it was definitely worth the trip. Thank you IslandGyro. Ill be back.👏👍👌

Falafel and lemon potatoes are the stars for me. The falafel is the rare kind that manages to pull off being crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside.Ill mix the lemon potatoes and fries in a dinner combo if I want to treat myself. You get the fried potatoes mixing with the lemon oil and its 😋.
Best Greek in Great Neck! Food is authentic and service is even better. I try to visit at least once a week

2022-06-29Great quality Greek food. The option for takeaway is terrific and convenient. This is a good, reliable restaurant for busy families. Located on Great Neck Road. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant was kind enough to give us some complimentary baklava. Would go again!

2021-10-06First off the woman working there is very friendly and pleasant, clean place but small, and not much seating. Now the food.... The Gyro sandwich is what to expect from a typical good Greek spot. It was good and the tzatziki sauce i thought was better than most spots The. Burgers are flame charcoal grilled which just adds to the flavor. They serve Domal (stuffed grape leaves) with humans and lemons where most places dont. Overall good experience. I am definitely going to visit again.
