Island Soul in other cities:
I ordered food the other day for the first time and went based off of the reviews i saw. I wasnt satisfied with my food. The rice and peas had no flavor and the Jerk Chicken barley did it tasted like i was eating nothing. I could of kept my 18.00 and ordered from Yardies which I usually do, but I wanted to give Island Soul a try never again.
I order food over the phone. They told me to come in 15/20min to pick up order. When I reach they say the meal isnt ready. Fine! So as Im waiting for another 15min the lady come & say we dont have items to make the meal. Wow! So u could look thru the caller id and call back & say so. Unprofessional & obviously disorganized!
Omg food and staff AMAZING!!! My mother got food a few weeks ago and I tasted it and loved it. So my sister and I went for ourselves last Saturday for breakfast and literally came back for lunch that SAME day!! Their food is so good and the prices are reasonable for the portion you get. I went back by myself to get more cabbage (SOOO GOOD)!! ..P.s my sister was mad i didnt get her anything. Lol And their staff is amazing!! Theyre so sweet and its always smiles. Definitely the best Carribbean spot out here!! Ive lived here for 14 years and never found a good Carribbean spot! This is it!!! (So I had their spicy beef patty before, Acara(idk if Im spelling that right), festival, and oxtail and cabbage. My sister had their Ackee and saltfish and boiled dumplings with yam nd banana and she also had oxtail and cabbage. WE REALLY ENJOYED IT.
Great customer service and very friendly staff . They were out of fish and i asked what else do they have for people who dont eat meat and I was offered at least 2 items. Which I really like because a lot of places dont have options for people who dont eat meat or shell fish
Where do I start with this place the people there are amazing and the food omg the food is amazing I got the fried fish and rice and peas and she got Rasta pasta both meals were amazing and well worth the money spent I highly recommend this place for not only the taste of there food but the cleanliness of it also

2020-08-08A small but seemingly popular Caribbean restaurant with a plentiful menu. (any time I pass by there people in and out!) I ordered both the chicken and goat roti and the sizes were much larger than I imagined, which was a pleasant surprise. What I was happiest with was their sorrel drink that seems homemade. The service was pleasant and friendly though a bit slow since they are busy and things are prepared fresh. I would recommend ordering ahead for pickup!

2021-03-14Good food made with spices from Barbados. Understand this is not Jamaican food. They serve huge portions, the containers are heavy. You will get your moneys worth. I enjoyed that they dont overpowering the food with spices. The flavor is just right with the perfect amount of heat in every bite. Parking is extremely difficult. Its a very busy area and dangerous pulling out of your parking spot.

2021-02-06Delicious, Authentic, and Wholesome. The Roti was fluffy, buttery and with a delicately spiced blend of potato and chickpeas. The curried goat was cooked to perfection with an accent of Thyme and Allspice.Highly recommended and looking forward to my next visit.

2019-11-09I’m sorry but whoever said this place had courteous staff was sadly mistaken. I came in to pick up a door dash order. I asked the lady who was the cashier for the door dash order and she said “ your order not ready yet” not in a nice tone. A few minutes later I asked again and received the same response. This is a reason that not everyone can buy food at an establishment where the service is off. I never knew this place existed and will continue to move on as if it doesn’t. Customer service 101 is speak to your customers in a welcoming tone sooo that they can come again🤦🏾♀️.

2019-06-18I had the most delicious curried potato roti! I am very impressed. The homemade carrot cake was excellent as well. Its also very nice to receive samples. I sampled the grilled lemonade and the fruit cake and both were delicious.
