I picked up a meal for my little family of three today for Christmas and not only did they not disappoint, but their food absolutely turned my day around!! As with many of us, its been a rather rough year; so I wasnt feeling the warm and festive feels today would typically bring. We had some sliced tomatoes and ham, penne marinara with meatballs, mussels in marinara sauce, chicken franchise, and a nice loaf of Italian bread and every part of it was absolutely delicious! Was actually my first time having mussels ever, as I was always too afraid to try them before. I am disappointed that I am a native Islander and never tried them before today, but will gladly order from them again! Thank you so much for turning my Christmas mood around, Italianissimo!!
The food, wine, desserts and service was awesome. They gave us lemon shots at the end on the house. I am definitely going back, everything was super tasty.

Dined here last night on a Saturday. Italianissmo exceeded my expectations.Staff is welcoming and attentive from the moment you step foot inside the door.We tried the grilled octopus as an appetizer and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection.I had the veal ossobuco with mushroom risotto and my girlfriend had the chicken franchese. Both dishes were exceptional and delicious.Great overall atmosphere and dining experience. We are looking forward to coming back.

Love this place. Everything is Delicious. Ive had both my childrens communions there, my dads retirement party and my daughters sweet 16 dinner. Its the 1st place I go to when Im having a celebration. Theyre so attentive to detail and everything on the menu is delicious ♥️
4.7 to be fair, nobody is a 5. We went on a very busy Saturday evening, while they had an event going on in the majority of the restaurant. Even with how busy it was, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. The food was authentic and very light. The service was great, very friendly and attentive staff. They even give out a free shot of in house limoncello.On site parking is a huge deal.
Seated on time service was very slow food was good limited menu and waited 40 minutes for coffee and it was not crowded.

Franco is a talented Chef who serves up delicious Italian fare. His specialty seafood and hot appetizer platters are epic and the entrees leave you wanting to come back again and again.A must go to restaurant destination right over the Verrazzano.Delicious!
In all honesty I really don’t think I have been treated this good by any other restaurant ever, they have the most attentive staff I have ever experienced so friendly so helpful and the manager I guess or host Lisa was so accommodating to our needs or maybe she is the owner I’m just not sure but she was wonderful. Everything was delicious from beginning to end the bread the salad the entrées the desserts I really cannot wait to go back to this place I truly would not leave such a long detailed review if it weren’t worth it believe me try this restaurant it is top notch a real class act thank you for showing us such a good night. I myself had the chicken Franchise was cooked to perfection seasoned to perfection and the vegetables were incredible I really can’t say enough about this place but I will and my review now so it is not dragged out LOL
I have been here for many parties and finally decided to go for a dinner since it never disappoints. Amazing food and service. Really enjoyed it and will be going back again soon!
My favorite place to go. The best Italian food on the Island. I had my sweet 16 here and have gone back so many times since then. Never been disappointed. Chef Franco is the best!!
Ill give this restaurant 3.5 stars. First, let me say that I had been to this restaurant two times before, but in a party setting, and I had no complaints either time. However, when I went to dinner Saturday night, I was a little disappointed. The service was a little bit slow, but it wasnt horrible. We did not have to wait too long for our dinners, but that may be because the place was slow at the time. However, it took FOREVER to get the check, and I had to ask the busboy and the manager before I finally received it. Thats not acceptable. When I want to leave, I should not have to wait another 20 minutes to do so. Our waiter was very nice, and the other staff was nice as well. The food was good, but instead of giving us spaghetti and meatballs together, which is what I would have brought us if I were the waiter, we received a spaghetti dish and a side of meatballs, which wound up costing much more than what we thought we were going to pay. In addition, we ordered chocolate ice cream for dessert and received one less-than-large scoop with whipped cream on top that cost $9. Totally out of control and not worth it, and they should be ashamed to charge that much money for a serving that size. The cabernet was too sweet, and the martini cost $13, which I thought was excessive. I likely will not return.
Franco and his staff were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!! We just had a bridal shower here- outside, Safe, distanced and beautiful! The food was to die for. Franco and his staff went BEYOND ABOVE AND BEYOND for my family to ensure the brides day was beautiful! We cannot thank you enough for a delicious and perfect day! - The Perez family !
Dinner for my brother in laws birthday at this amazing establishment. From the moment we walked in till the moment we left it was truly special. The staff was wonderful, the food delicious and the banana and strawberry flambé dessert topped it off perfectly. I can’t wait to come visit from the Rochester area again and go back. It was fantastic. 💞

We love the food and service at Italianissimo. The Italian dishes are fresh and delicious and the waiters attentive. The decor is elegant. We have been coming here for years and are never disappointed. I wish more people could discover this place. It is a hidden gem. Their parking lot is very small, so you may have to park on the street. Its worth the trip.

My wife and I had dinner at Italianissimo. The experience was superb in all respects. The menu offered many selections, the service was outstanding, the space was appointed nicely, and our food was wonderful. The portions were not undersized, and the bread was plentiful and tasty. The desert offerings would satisfy any sweet tooth. We are going back tomorrow night and have their flambe strawberries, which is prepared with an artist flare. Outstanding value and quality.
Franco and his staff,especially the maitred Mario, were phenomenal today. We had a funeral repast at his restaurant today after my moms funeral. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! First time eating in Staten Island, a last minute place to sit down and eat a delicious meal. We had mussels with red sauce as an appetitizer, and he had zuppe del mar Italiano and I had salmon with mango ...amazingly fresh.. eating outside in a beautiful romantic setting listening to beautiful romantic old fashion music with a cool breeze blowing as the sun is setting.... great place and superb service! 👍

Appetizers had no flavor, very little on the plates, it looks like it was just thrown on a plate, n no kind of great desserts. We had a party of 12.It sad because we heard a lot of great things about this place..
Since the first time I came to Italianissimo Ristorante I knew that this is place I want to return o again and again. I am left NYC last year and cant wait to come back here when things will be safer with the Covid 19. And Italianissimo Ristorante is one of the restaurants I just cant wait to come to.

My wife and I have been going for years and always loved the whole experience. My wife, kids and I went there the other night for my daughters graduation and we all thought it was very bad. The food is no where near what it used to be and for those prices, we intend on going elsewhere from now on.
This restaurant is soooooo excellent the food is delicious it tastes like heaven and the way the tables are set up are so nice I recommend coming here for a party at night

Came for dinner tonight there were six of us...2 of us got the linguine with lobster and shrimp..horrible came out raw pasta was sent back came out watery..the problem was no one really cared the chef was rude and the owner didnt even offer us a coffee for the horrible food..definitely wont be back..i had the filet mignon was good...we ate the rubbery lobster because we were hungry..i think they microwaved it to heat it up..not a good experience

2022-04-07Wow! Blown away by this place. So we walk in out of a rain / hail storm and are greeted with the hostess comfortingly asking to take our coats and a small towel to dry ourselves off with. With out reservations they were able to sit us. We were greeted by the owner as we sat at our table. The food was better then Michelin rated restaurants I’ve been to. The flavors of everything were perfectly paired together. I haven’t had a meal like this in years. Perfect portions. By the end of the meal the staff made us feel like family. For sure i will be going back. Thank you so much. Check the photos i cant explain how good this was. It needs to be at the top of everyones where to eat next list.

2022-05-25The food was really good and service attentive, the only downside was we ordered cheesecake and it was pretty stale. Other than that, my personal favorite was grilled octopus salad, like 9/10. Angus steak was perfectly cooked to our order and veal parmiggiana was pretty good. We will be coming back, when they open up their patio

2022-02-18Had an amazing dining experience here! Our waiter was very attentive, and everyone was so friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My friend has some dietary restrictions, and the kitchen altered the dish he ordered upon his request to meet his needs, which I really appreciate.

2021-02-07Extremely nice! Due to COVID, its unfortunate that we werent able to enjoy their food in house.Food was awesome for delivery, cause you know sometimes its not quite the same when eating at the restaurant.Hoping for dine in soon! Definitely will come back!

2021-04-29Omg this is a hidden jewel! All this time, these many years I didnt know about this restaurant. The food, I mean every single thing we ordered was so tasty and perfectly made. Whoever the chefs are need to be awarded. Ill definitely add them to one of my favorite restaurants in NYC/on the island.

2021-12-25This is a top-quality and caring Staten Island restaurant.They provided free meals to many people, including my girlfriends aunt and her company (they were generous in the variety, cost, and quantity of food they gave, thats for sure!).When my girlfriend picked up the food, she loved the look and atmosphere of the restaurant and was surprised she didnt know about it before. They provided the following, double trays/loaves of each:- chicken francaise- mussels- penne pasta, with homemade meat balls, in outstanding-tasting fresh marinara sauce- shaved ham served with LOTS of fresh tomatoes- 2 loaves of fresh-baked Italian bread2021 has been a tough year for many people and Italianissimo helped make it so much better for many Staten Islanders. Kindness aside, the food was GREAT!
