Edit: Have been going here a lot for mostly prepared food and sandwiches and just catered another party from A&S, once again delicious food and friendly service.Ordered catering from the new A&S without having ever tried their food, it was really good and so reasonable! Eggplant rollatini, chicken and stuffed shells were delicious, only thing I didnt like was the sausage and peppers, it tasted fine but didnt look cooked (maybe baked?) and not enough peppers/onions. Salad and bread was good, will definitely use them again.
Italos A&S brings service to an unprecedented level. The variety is overwhelming and very imaginative. There isnt anything that you can try that doesnt absolutely assault the taste buds and makes the customer want to taste everything.Well done very professional, and in a world of exorbitant prices, they are very reasonably priced.Recomend you take advantage of the butcher services available.Pork chops, veal chops and steaks.Salute!Having a party call Italos Catering!
The food here is delicious. I could spend all day here. The people are friendly, the service is awesome, I just cant say enough. We just had our annual family Christmas get together and had them cater it. Everyone loved the food and all asked who I used. They were prompt, the food was hot, as requested, and set up was quick. I highly recommend these guys for all your food needs. Thanks again for a great experience!!!
This is an Italian specialty store, they have really good salads ,soups, sandwiches, wraps. I love their Mediterranean and beet salad. Customer service is great, not wheelchair accessible. They do catering, cash and credit cards are accepted. You can also pick up small grocery item , milk, bread, cheese, steaks etc.. etc.
So where do I start , 1 Very Expensive, 2 Who uses a microwave to cook Italian food , NOT heat their food, 3 Pasta Fagioli had a real bad taste to it and it wasn’t the beans 4, VERY EXPENSIVE oh wait I said that already 5 , Stuffed peppers HOT like I ask but also a weird taste to it, 6 Milanos were dry and cheese wasn’t melted , I have to say I was recommended and I usually don’t stray away from my usual A&S Pork Stores and know this wasn’t one , I think Subway would of tasted better, Sorry Folks !
Very DisappointedI had heard so much about the great food at A&S that I finally decided to give it a try. I went in with my daughter and the counterman was helping a police officer with an order. There were 4 or 5 other guys standing in the corner behind the counter who never acknowledged us. The counterman who was helping the officer finished up his order and he too never acknowledged us and quickly began helping someone who walked in way after us. I told my daughter, let’s go, obviously no one wants to help us. The guys in the corner watched us go without ever saying a word.We then went to our usual Italian spot and got all of out items for a great sausage dinner.Needless to say I will never set foot in A&S Pork Store ever again. I really could care less how many people rave about them. I guess they are busy enough and don’t need any new customers.Truly disappointed and disgusted!!
After calling 3 stores for veal shanks, I posted on FB and so many people said Italo on Forest was the BEST butcher. THEY WERE RIGHT! I made osso buco with the spectacular pieces Italo gave me. He showed me the meat, even offered tips to make the osso buco. He was incredibly nice and knowledgable. The store is awesome and convenient to central SI and worth the trip for south shore residents. I love Italy A&S!

2021-12-02Italo offers a wide variety of Italian dishes all of which are delicious and fresh. I needed a Antipasto platter for Thanksgiving and with a small amount of prep time Italo came through . The platter was filled with everything you could possibly want from grilled artichokes to marinated eggplant. The soppressata was delicious as well. There was so much on this platter it was truly amazing. I cant say enough about it and psst....everyone could not stop asking where it came from ITALO!!!!
