These guys have been super easy to work with. Great results every single time.
My husband and just bought new vehicles, nope not rich and it will be financially tight for sure. My husbands truck needs bed liner, tonneau cover, mud flaps, bug deflector... my daughter has used J&R and recommended them highly. We drove down almost a 2 hour drive stopped in the shop and Jason walked us through each product, we were there for sometime but he was patient and stayed with us giving us all the sale/special discounts available. I appreciate great customer service almost as much as a well made product - I got both at this shop. They are going to do all this in one day for us as the drive is long, appreciate that squeeze in and time for us.Thank You Jason! Very kind and accommodating staff! I had a remote start installed (a birthday present from my husband), they were very kind and answered questions I had without me even having to ask. While waiting (with coffee they provided), I overheard phone calls and conversations that the staff had with other customers and they were incredibly helpful, kind and reinforced their great reputation. Once finished, I got a little tutorial on how to use the remote, which was great since Ive never had one before. I wasnt treated any differently, being a woman, which alone scores points in my book. Highly recommend!
I went to J&R upholstery for the first time to have a car starter put into one of my vehicles. I had received a gift certificate for the starter. From the time I made my appointment I was impressed with the professionalism and patience in explaining to me what was available and how the starters operated. I also found the reminder call Friendly. Upon arrival I felt as if I was in a safe environment and was helped immediately! I thought I would have to make a second 50 miles round-trip to pick up my vehicle later that day but after doing a little shopping I received a call and my vehicle was already finished! I was thrilled! I received great instructions on the use of my new device too and I left with a great impression of this business! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Great experience all around! Had a Bullet spray in bedliner put in and a Tonneau Cover was very happy with both. As someone that used to sell Rhino liner this product is much better and was installed very well. Thx to Brett and the team very professional and nice guys.
I had the helm seats done for my Searay Sundancer that I keep in Alexandria Bay, NY. on the Saint Lawrence River.I could not have been more pleased with the quality workmanship and their customer service.They went out of their way to provide a positive experience. The staff at J&R are nothing short of amazing. From the first phone call of a thousand questions to asking for three different quotes and changing my mind twice, they were never rude and always smiling. Their prices beat the dealer by hundreds of dollars, yet I would have gladly paid dealer prices just to be appreciated as a customer by the attentive and friendly J&R staff. I came in for a truck bed liner and left with not only a durable drop-in liner, but a complete set of winter floor mats for what I would have paid at the dealer for just the bed liner. Purchased a tonneau cover and step rails from J & R 3 yrs ago. The step rail bolts rusted out and J & R was very helpful in getting the rails and brackets replaced under warranty. Less than a week to get the new step rails in and put on.

This is my first visit to J&R Upholstery. This my first truck. Dan greeted me. I was interested in tonneau covers. He stopped what he was doing & showed me the covers in my target $ ranged, explained the difference between them & even took me outside to see the cover on his truck. I had a question about locking tailgates & Dan found one my truck in a few minutes.I had questions on seat covers. Next up was Tom. He stopped what he was doing & explained the different styles & fabrics.Dan & Tom were great to work with, very knowledgable & personable. They really know their products & customer service/satisfaction is their specialty.I highly recommend these guys & their business. I know I will be going back for more in the future. Just got an remote start from J&R as a Christmas gift for the wife. Very pleased with the experience. The staff were very professional and courteous. I described what I needed to the salesman. He provided my options. The whole transaction took minutes. The salesman was able to quickly schedule an appointment. All in all a very pleasant experience
I was very happy with my experience here. The salesman was polite and very helpful. I have had two of my cars windows tinted here, good price, high quality work. Also had a suburban which needed the head liner and airbags replaced. Definitely quality work.
I have been dealing with Todd the owner on a car that I sent to have an estimate done. Instead of giving me an estimate, Todd started the work after several requests that I needed an estimate. He finally gave me an estimate about 1-2 weeks after he supposedly started working on the car.His price was 25%-30% higher that everyone else. I obviously wasn’t about to pay that much more for an interior restoration. I told Todd I was not going to go with his company on the restoration work and that I would be picking up the car. What happened after that was very Surprising. I received a text from Todd saying I owed him over $2500.00 for the work he did on the car. Mind you, there was no estimate, no approval and no agreement in place with me, but he goes and does $2500 worth of work on a car with no approval??? No way.I challenge Todd and ask him to justify the costs. He provided info that was not able to be verified. For example, he used words like prepared parts and cleaned this and that, stuff that I wouldn’t know if it was done or not, but he felt I would just roll over and pay it. Even though I gave him no approval, I told him I would pay him $675.00 for parts that he apparently bought and a radio and speakers that he installed. WAY MORE THAN FAIR!It’s been a week or two now and I told him I was coming today to get the car. Instead of saying okay and working out the details of how to pay him the $675.00 that I told him I would pay him, he said that I had to pay him over $2,500 in cash only. Cash only?? Hmm. I wonder why?? Just another example of Todd’s shady business character.In my opinion Todd is fine until he is challenged. I feel everyone is just willing to pay him what he claims he is owed so they don’t have to deal with drama, but I’m not that person.I wish I had some good things to say, but this experience has been 4 weeks of a nightmare. I probably have to get the cops involved now because he won’t give me my car back. What a shame.
This last purchase I got from them was for one heated seat. From the moment I walked in I received the information I wanted and everyone there is kind and considerate. I made my appointment and when it came time I dropped it off and by the time I came back it was ready for me. I have dealt with J&R for many years now and they have always been good to me. I recommend them to whomever I hear is looking for something that they deal in. One of the few places that has amazing customer service and support.
I am a salesman at a ford store and hour and fifteen minutes away from J&R and time and time again they get the job done for me. I use J&R so much I have all the prices for everything you can possibly get done memorized! Seriously, these guys up here are the friendliest, fast working bunch of people Ive come across. I live almost 200 miles from J&R Upholstery but reached out in the hopes that they could create a very custom tonneau cover for our truck. Tom and the staff I interacted with were beyond accommodating and friendly and somehow offered the best (and fastest!) service and product imaginable, despite the entire interaction and installation being remote and virtual!After a delightful email exchange where Tom walked me through every measurement and patiently answered every question we had, we have a beautiful custom tonneau cover on our truck! The tonneau cover was made and delivered within days of ordering, and it fit perfectly.I was blown away by Toms willingness to go above and beyond in phone conversations, provide drawings and pictures to support our self-installation, give expert advice on tonneau maintenance, and follow up after installation to see how the tonneau was holding up.I cant imagine a better quality product at a better price from better people. No matter the distance, J&R is now my go-to for any upholstery!
I have purchased several items from J&R. Every item has worked exactly as advertised and was priced just as good as online. The installs were performed quickly and flawlessly. Even when they couldnt get the item they had said they could. Jason was able to get the item for a better price than the dealer and installed. I have recommended J&R to many family and friends and every one was equally happy.

Very friendly people at J & R!! My remote was not working and Tom figured out right away that it was more than the battery. Since it is the holiday time and they are very busy, he was able to get me in within a weeks time! Its wonderful to have my car warm again before I get in! One of the best Christmas gifts Ive ever received!!!

I previously had j & r install a car starter for me on my previous car and it was done perfect. I dropped it off in the morning and was able to pickup later after work. The folks were so nice and even showed me how to operate the unit. I wouldent mind working with them again.
I recently had a Remote Starter installed in my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. I love it.I waited in their waiting area. They provided a newspaper and I brought a book to read while waiting.The service was wonderful, the staff explained how I use the starter.I would highly recommend this business to any of my friends and family.

J&R Upholstery did some excellent craftsmanship on my university teams formula hybrid race-car seat. It was wrapped with pristine leather and foamed with high quality materials. The exterior of the seat is smooth and looks as if it is brand new out of a car just purchased from a dealership. I couldnt give higher praise to their friendly employees who worked with us and helped us find a design that we desired.The final product was even better than we had expected and is very comfortable to sit in. The exterior of the seat is clean and polished and will be put to great use by our race-car team. We couldnt have asked for a better value or higher quality job.

Nothing but Satisfaction! From remote starters to cruise control and even floor mats, Ive purchased a number of products from JR and always been extremely satisfied. They have Great customer service and quality workmanship. And if by chance you do have a problem, they will take care of it. When I bought a vehicle a few years back, the well known large (out of town) dealership even sent me to JR for the work that the dealer couldnt do. Now thats reputation for you! When I need something automotive, my first call is to JR Upholstery.

Purchased a Leer 122. Jason and Tom were very knowledgeable and had all the answers to my questions. They even suggested an option Leer doesnt list on their website and Im very happy I chose that option. Overall a great experience, a great price and fast service. Outstanding.

I was very excited about my car starter when I opened the box on Christmas day. I have been asking for one for years. My husband was told if we dropped my car off the night before that it would be done by 12 the next day. My husband specifically asked when he made the appointment if my car was going to be done by 1 on the day of the appointment because we had a party to be at by 1. We called at 1130 because we had not gotten a call that they were done yet and we were told that my car wouldnt be done until 2. We got there at 130 (already mad that my car wasnt done by 12 and we were late for the party) just to be told that my car was still not ready and wouldnt be until after 2. We were also told that my car was the last one to be taken which is absolutely ridiculous because it was obviously the first one there because we dropped it off the night before. I am very disappointed with our experience and I would really like money back for our inconvenience.
Installed dash decals on the interior of my car...looks great. Tom was wonderful to work with and always kept me informed on the progress. Couldnt be happier with their customer service!!!

I work for a dealer over an hour away, have used for the last 7 years for a variety of different services. Never anything except first class service.
Purchased new LEER cap for my GMC truck. The initial service was good. My cap came in damaged and after it came back repaired from LEER the paint was scratched up, buffing compound wedged in the rubber seams of the windows, and there are imperfections in the fiberglass. For the $ and as many caps as these guys sell Id expect a better answer than having to come back to them for them to check it out, etc. I cant afford to take time off for that. Ive been happier with the used LEER caps I purchased in the past. Will have to live with this one. Just make sure everything is right before you leave their facility unless you have a lot of time on your hands. I should have expressed my concerns while I was there and not after I got home.
Brand new truck had to get a spray in bedliner dropped it off yesterday afternoon at 2 and they called today by noon and it was ready! Super fast service meticulous job, very professional and clean! Super satisfied thanks guys!

When another company canceled my appointment for remote car start on Dec 10th and said they couldnt do it until Dec 31I was upset. This was a present to my husband for Christmas and his birthday on Dec 29th. I looked up who else could do it and came across J & R Upholstery. I called them and they were so nice on the phone. I was able toget appointment on Dec 17th. My husband was thrilled to get his present early. They even explain how it works. They took their time to answer any questios too. 2021-10-01Great guys. Great service and very reasonable prices. We had Katskin leather seats installed, new Boss control system and a back up camera to an older vehicle. Tommy was our contact. Couldnt have been more helpful. Even went the extra mile and ordered extra leather for us to cover the armrest. Which was made on location, it not only finished off the job, but was also very reasonably priced. Wish we had more cars to take there! Very pleasant experience.

2021-02-24I have the expectations of the best upholstery! And jr upholstery has never let me down, from the auto dealership work or the home my diners booth from over 10 years ago! And still looks. New ! Or now. With my new bed cover!Our experience was and is. Great, once a job has begun, may it be big or small they do it right or not at all ! There the BEST !

2021-12-03Amazing service and super affordable! Had them install a remote start. To say I’m impressed is an understatement. Only took them an hour and a half opposed to the two and half hours they scheduled me for. Lifetime warranty on the system and includes remote batteries. They are the friendliest people and did very well at explaining to me how it works. Look forward to doing business with them again in the future!

2022-07-01Scammers, these guys sold and installed a 300+ watt subwoofer instead of the 500+ one that I payed $600 for! What did you guys think that I wouldn’t check?? To top it off the bass knob that they connected to my dashboard does absolutely NOTHING lol, can’t make this stuff up. Then they go on to say ohhhhh we’ll bring it in and we’ll check to see what you have, we’re only open Monday through Friday btw. Bruh……I can’t take a half a day off from work just to install car audio in my truck.Update: My truck powered off earlier this week and I had to coast off to the side on a very narrow and busy ramp entrance to the highway. Couldn’t start truck, couldn’t take truck out of park, had to tow to the dealer. Guess what the issue was $485 later? Bad power on wire installed by J&R to the ignition was blowing out fuse to starter and other electronics. Trust me stay away

2021-09-22I am blown away with the service that I received from Jason. From start to finish he was nothing but kind, but additionally, I havent even purchased anything from J&R (yet) but when I asked an additional question about getting something installed on my new 2021 Rav 4, Jason went above and beyond to find me an answer. He discovered that there werent any products available that he could install, but he took the time to go out of his way to do additional research (even calling me to gain more information for his research) to get me an answer. I am so thankful for him, and he just saved me so much time and energy searching, not to mention the financial aspect of it. I was prepared to purchase and install something that Jason discovered I already have. I have been disappointed that my new car didnt have a feature that he just told me I have had all along. Again, I am so thankful for him and his efforts. Jason going the extra mile has gained a returning customer for any/all of my needs. Thanks, Jason!
