2022-04-19Jackson Hewitt is expensive way to do taxes after what they call March Madness . They charge a lot more than H&R block. Satisfied with the service not so much with the cost. Had I known the initial cost after being quoted $200-$300 for a simple return I would have never agreed to get my taxes done there. It was only due to the convenience of the location. Plus to take it out of my return they wanted to charge me another fee to do so. Are you kidding me. I may or may not return next year.

2022-03-31I tried doing my taxes on my own two weeks after my husbands death. I submitted three times only to be rejected three times by IRS. I was so frustrated, and under the circumstances completely lost it. I called the Jackson Hewitt office in Dryden, Ny. They let me bring the taxes right over, in less than 4 hours they figured out what I had done wrong, resubmitted them for me and it was done. My relief was immediate. Renee was so helpful, kind, understanding, and clearly knowledgeable. I couldn’t have done it without her. I will be bringing my taxes to her every year going forward. Thank you so much.

2022-04-11We will never do our own taxes again! Scott, our helpful tax preparer, not only made our taxes as easy as pie, but made the process just as fun as having a beer with an old friend. Having moved from Utah, sold a house, and got married, we were horrified to take this challenge alone. But scott took the challenge by the horns and said “I’m the captain now”, making this tax extravaganza both the easiest AND most enjoyable tax return we’ve ever had. There is no doubt we will be returning for next years filing! Scott rocks!

2022-03-05The JH office I use is superb because my tax preparer is friendly, thoughtful, accurate, and swift! I can walk into the office with my boxes of receipts and be out in an hour with my paperwork, knowing that my taxes have been filed correctly and that I can expect a good return after the JH fee has been deducted. As long as my preparer is there, it is likely that I will continue to see her.

2020-03-10I use Renee every year. Even though she deals with a large number of clients and she only sees me once per year, she knows who I am when I call to schedule an appointment. I get right in - I never have to wait. I never stress over getting my taxes done. She is very professional and knows exactly what to do and is consistent year after year. I have been a customer of hers for years and will continue to use her in the future.

2021-03-19Tax preparer was efficient, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. I transferred from a JH office in central New York State where I had gone for years and was always pleased with the service. I was a little apprehensive the service would not be of the same quality at this new office. In fact, the service was at least as good. Very satisfied!
