A truly caring and professional occupational therapy staff headed by Darya.The care that I receive is thorough and attentive at every phase. It’s only been two weeks of regular visits and I see a tremendous difference in my hand. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of Jag one from the friendly and helpful office staff to the thoroughly confident, warm and Super efficient therapists. I didn’t know what to expect from therapy but I see that it’s at a very high-level at this facility.
Jag-one is awesome ! The set a rehab program they fits you to a T. The staff is so knowledgeable, helpful and very engaging ! I’m enjoying every painful minute of it . lol
Darya, The occupational therapist at the Forest Avenue site, is great in every way. She is dedicated to all of her patients and works with them individually every session. She is very kind and professional and is good at her job. She really cares about your recovery and works hard to make sure the recovery process goes smoothly. After having a incredibly difficult post-surgery total knee replacement experience, I almost lost hope that I’d ever be walking pain-free and without a cane for balance. My physical therapist Carla B. gave me my life back. I became basically pain free with no cane after a few months on a PT regimen.Without her patience, understanding, kindness, and professionalism, I would not have this outcome that improved my quality of life.Also, the staff were wonderful, very helpful and encouraging with a positive attitude. They gave a sense of family in a very comfortable setting from the moment you stepped in the door.As for now, unfortunately my other knee has to be replaced. I am taking steps by having PT before surgery in order to have a better recovery, and of course heading back to Carla after surgery to get as mobile as I can. If I learned anything from this experience is that PT is vital in order to recover from those ailments that affect our joints. Thank you Karla and everyone at the Forest Ave- Jag-One

Nice friendly staff. After 4 months of Occupational Therapy very satisfied with my results. The OT Dariya is the best. Professional, knowledgeable and very attentive. Even my surgeon who referred me is extremely pleased with my progress.. I never thought Id look forward to therapy treatment but she made it a pleasure. So grateful!!

There is a very knowledgeable staff and the Director manages the office so well. I feel I’m in good hands. They are attentive, educate and assist during each step in the progress. The personal assistance has been a balm. I highly recommend them for PT.

Im going for PT at the Westerleigh facility on Forest Avenue following bilateral knee replacements. Ive always been athletic ( runner, swimmer...etc) and am eager to return to my active life.From the outset, I was taken seriously, carefully assessed and a treatment plan devised that is clearly meant to address my particular goals. The main therapist treating me, Enrique Garcia is working with Jenna Laughlin. They are both attentive, dedicated and extremely knowledgeable. I see they treat all their patients similarly, tailoring their care to the individual.The rest of the assistants are friendly, energetic and competent.So far, an excellent experience.
I started going to Carla Buonviaggio about 6 months ago. Its amazing how much better I have felt since I started there. Carla is the best. And everyone else there has been so friendly and helpful. They never hesitate to help me when I forget my exercises. Also, one of the cleanest physical therapy offices Ive ever been to. I definitely give it 5 stars.
I was recently diagnosed with frozen shoulder and have only been to Jag One 5 times. Im already seeing results! PT Carla and her staff are pleasant, professional and extremely helpful in my road to recovery. I highly recommend them.
A shoulder impingement was an infringement to my work and physical activities. My physical therapist, Carla Buonviaggio took a lot of time to learn about how my injury occurred and then devised a protocol for me to follow so that my healing could begin. Carla is intelligent, kind, compassionate, professional and highly experienced. She made me feel confident that I was in the right hands from the first day that I visited One on One Occupational Therapy in Westerleigh. When I returned home after my first visit, I found an email from Carla with a link to videos of all the exercises that she prescribed for me and detailed instructions on how to practice them at home. Her staff are also very knowledgeable and attentive to the patients needs. The facility is immaculately clean and the equipment is well maintained. I am very grateful to Carla and the physical therapists for the care that they have given me during my recuperation.
Welcoming, warm, knowledgeable, and caring. I would recommend this facility to any one who needs rehabilitation. The front desk staff - especially Big P - will go out of their way for you - the clinicians are fantastic - and you cant beat this location; convenient is an understatement! Ive only had about 6 sessions with Mike and I already have felt less pain in my target area. The staff at Jag One are super nice, supportive and know what they are doing. Mike has customized a treatment to help me heal and I am truly thankful.I absolutely recommend Mike and his team at Jag One in westerleigh.
Carla at Forest Ave in Staten Island was the absolute best PT! She worked with me and the progress I reached in a short space of time was remarkable. Her bedside manner is exemplary and the entire staff is just friendly and awesome! I told three people to go them and no one else! I still have a ways to go in my PT recovery, but I am Optimistic and convinced I will be back at 100%!
Enrique Garcia and the entire office are very professional and caring. From the front desk area as soon as you walk in, you are treated as though you are their only and most important client. The aides work very hard performing their job with efficiency and humor and ease. Everyone perceives that clients are in pain and even in emotional pain, and they work very hard to make you comfortable. Enrique, from our very first meeting was extremely organized and familiar with my case, and already had a plan in place. This course has been extremely successful. I could not walk at all and after a short time I am walking with just a cane part of the time. He should truly be awarded for his expertise and professionalism. He is confident and knowledgeable. He takes as much time as you need to discuss your case and answer any questions in full and simple terms that are understandable. When I needed therapy and started to ask for recommendations, this facility was recommended by almost everyone I asked. Kudos to Enrique and the entire office. A true asset to this organization.
I have been going to Jag-One since the end of August after my total knee replacement surgery. All I can say is Carla Buonviaggio is beyond amazing. She is truly a blessing to me and anyone else who has her working with them. I was really nervous after this surgery due to the pain and tough rehab ahead of me. I’m over 7 weeks post op and my orthopedic can’t believe how far I have come. I truly believe if I went somewhere else I wouldn’t be where I am attoday. Absolutely love Carla and the team she has working with her. Can’t thank you enough.💕

I started going to Jag-One because of knee difficulties. I can not say enough good things about the staff and the facility . My therapist, Eric, was wonderful. He listened and cared. The assistants were all attentive and thoughtful. I would highly recommend Jag-One .
Excellent occupational therapy for hand and wrist. Daria, OT is a very dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced professional who has helped me get movement and strength back in my hand and wrist after a surgical procedure to repair a distal fracture of my ulna and radius. I have also used Jag-one PT for other joint issues, must say that all of the PTs that worked with me were highly professional and experts in their field. Strongly recommend.
The staff is very knowledgeable , friendly and professional. They take the time to explain the technique for your rehabilitation or alter it if necessary. Jackie, my therapist, has years of experience and takes her time with each patient. Im very happy with the staff and the cleanliness of the facility.
Ive had a lot of experience in getting physical therapy thru the years but Ive gotten not just great PT at JAG-ONE but honest opinions on my progression as well as what my next steps should be both in and out of the facility to get better correctly and efficiently

My Therapist Carla Buonviaggio was very thorough assessing my condition and formulated a plan to get me back to better mobility. She is a caring, knowledgeable Therapist gives you the facts about whats going on as treatment progresses. I have used JAG-One on previous occasions using a Therapist Rick who I thought was Great! and since moved on as Director of another JAG, but I must say for me Carla has replaced him 100% shes GREAT!
Love the place! Very quiet, clean and safe facility with highly friendly and professional ladies on the reception desk. Love my therapy doctor Michael Maccarriello who brought my frozen shoulder back from berely moving hand to almost full mothion in only 8 therapy sessions. Before finding him, I was attending other physical therapy place, and it only made my situation worse. I was about to have a surgery, when my orthopedics surgeon suggested me to try Jag-One therapy one more time before the invasive proceedure. Jag-One has multiple locations in every of NYC boroughs, as well as in Jersey and Pensilvania. I live on Staten Island , and was lucky to chose the Forest Avenue location to meet my amazing therapy doctor Michael. Michael is extremely professional specialist and very positive and warm person.I recommend this place and this therapist to anyone who needs good professional medical care, lots of attention and great results. By the way, my orthopedic surgeon said I don’t need a surgery anymore!

My family has been using One on One/Jag-One physical therapy since 2015. My daughter had ACL surgery and is an athlete, and my husband has rotator cuff surgery. As for me, I’m currently seeking treatment for pain in myShoulder and back. Rick is my Physical Therapist and he is awesome, as are his assistants! They are very attentive! I recommend them to anyone saying they need physical therapy!

Darya has been treating my husband, William, for about 3 weeks now. The professionalism and the care she takes is a testament to occupational therapy. This place takes great pride, in making the patient feel at home. The staff gives it their all, in getting that person to feel so much better and heal their injury. The staff knows exactly what to do, to take care of youre injury, they are knowledgeable and you can ask every question and they will answer it for you.I would definitely recommend going here for youre injury, you wont be sorry! One on one is like God ,putting his hands on you and healing everything that is hurting you.
I love Enrique, he’s the best! He was essential to my recovery from my shoulder surgery. I trust him completely. He was very concerned with my progress, and really made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him!
The facility is run like clockwork. The physical therapists develop a detailed plan of recovery as you progress and a team of professionals work with you at different stations. Jacqueline Barresi, my physical therapist, attentively listens to my needs and adjusts the therapy accordingly.

Great place to go if you have a problem. They have been extremely helpful for me since I have found out that I have arthritis in my knee. I have been working with Jackie and she is wonderful. Feel better every time I go!
My physical therapist Mike Maccarriello and the assistant Sean were just great to work with. Mike new just what I needed for my Vertigo problem to get me back on the road to recovery quickly and knowledgeably and the staff was awesome I highly recommend Jag One Forest Ave.

Love the OT dept! Had a bad wrist fracture which Eli fixed back to normal in under 2 months, the Certified Hand Therapist. The staff is very friendly, there was rarely a wait, maybe 5min tops, they have extended hours, and the OT was AWESOME.
Knowledgeable, experienced, caring therapists, large well-organized space and all of equipment to help with the exercise, therapy procedures and especially good documentation on your progress, adds up to the kind of help you need to get the flexibility, mobility and move on with your life.
Love them. Staff is great and they know what theyre doing. Its not your wimpy little massage, some heat, some tens treatment and out the door ..... NOPE! They are there to make better and stronger. So be ready to work your butt off. Side note ..... theres plenty of parking!

I bring my son to jag-one physical therapy because he got a finger fracture ,the make a splint for the hand and was so easy, my son fills more comfortably with that and hes getting much better now

2022-08-13Physical therapy at Jag-One Westerleigh is second to none. Carla and Mike provide excellent individual attention. Staff are attentive and ensure you are performing your exercises properly. Health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to. Tables are meticulously cleaned after each use and masks are required to be worn by everyone. If PT is needed, this is the place to go!

2022-01-29Carla Buonviaggio has proven that physical therapy does work. Carla analyzes your needs and comes up with an effective therapy/exercise plan that if you execute it, following her instructions, will make you feel normal/great again. Carla, and the staff, monitor your progress, and ensure you are performing the prescribed exercises properly. Everyone is friendly, professional and attentive.

2019-02-12After having major surgery on his sacrum. I was very scared in trusting anyone rehab my son back into soccer mode. So far I have been impressed with the knowledge and care. Its very comforting seeing them work with their patients. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

2021-11-02JAG-ONE is great. I’ve only been there for 4 sessions (2 weeks); the pain in my shoulder is almost completely gone, and my torn meniscus is not giving me nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would. It’s nice to go somewhere people actually know what they’re doing. My PT Joe Cestaro is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and just an overall professional. If you’re having physical issues and looking for a PT spot JAG-ONE is second to none.

2021-08-09After receiving a thorough evaluation in conjunction with the prescription/report from the orthopedic doctor, a specific and targeted regime was created for me. More importantly, as the patient I was listened to attentively and what I had to say was taken into account. Eric Anderson and the staff have my best interests in mind at all times. I would not have expected less. After all, they did wonders working with my wife after her two hip surgeries and working with her on her knees. You could not be in better hands than JAG-ONE!

2021-07-07Jag One was recommended by my orthopedic doctor and I sure am glad I listened to him. The staff is wonderful, caring and they all know what my exercises should be. They also make sure all the equipment is sanitized!Joe C is my therapist and from the beginning, always takes the time to listen to how I’m feeling and tells me how he’s going to address it when I’m there. I’m very happy with the care I received from Jag One Westerleigh. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a PT practice!
