I was so nervous about the divorce process but I certainly picked the right firm to represent me. The entire staff has been so professional and patient with me. I knew the moment I consulted with Jason Barbera that he would do a great job. Donna is simply amazing...friendly, knowledgeable and most of all caring. Mindy has made me so comfortable knowing she is taking care of my case. I’m in great hands and I can’t thank them enough for making this so painless!!!

My divorce was a long matter because of COVID but I have no doubt the matter would not have turned out as well as it did had it not been for Jason, Samantha and the rest of their team. Debora Shamoilia always answers my questions and makes me feel secure in my custody case. She’s also easy to talk to. Currently being represented by Jason Barbara & Associates. Our initial phone consultation (due to covid) went well so we devised a plan for amending my current custody agreement. There was an issue about an upcoming court date that I was not notified of so I called and spoke to Jewell who was very friendly and assured me that someone would get back to me. The next morning @ 9am Jason Barbara called me personally to address the issue. As it turns out it was a clerical mistake within the family courts. Mr. Barbara is a very knowledgable as well as personable attorney whom I would highly recommend. In my experience it is not very common to find an attorney that takes such a hands on approach with his clients. My only regret is that i was not referred to him sooner so he could have represented during my divorce.

Jason Barbara is an extraordinary attorney. He cares and takes all his cases personally where he feels for his client. He worked extremely hard for my mother so she can have visitation with her granddaughter. He tried his best to save Thomas Valva, but was up against an incompetent judge, an equally incompetent lawyer who was representing the boys, and their lying NYPD father. Thomas Valva has now been murdered by his father, who was disgustingly awarded custody without a proper hearing. Again, corrupt judge. Thank you Mr. Barbara for trying to save Thomas.

2021-12-29I retained Jason Barbara & Associates to assist in my child custody case this past year. I had never used a lawyer before so I have no experience to compare it to. I worked mostly with Nabeela Hamid who was very professional, answered my emails quickly and helped me seek exactly what I was looking for. The office staff is very pleasant and helpful. We mostly worked remotely (via phone calls and virtual court) except for when our final documents needed signing which was super convenient.

2021-10-02Jason Barbara and his team made my divorce process as quick and painless as possible. I never felt left in the dark. Mr. Barbara clearly outlined the process for me and if I ever had any questions, my emails were always answered in a timely manner. Nabeela and Donna were also fantastic in keeping me up-to-date with every step completed by my ex and stage of which our case was in. I highly recommend this practice. 2021-06-10Jason Barbara & Associates have been amazing attorneys throughout my case. They took over my case after my first attorney wasn’t making any traction in getting me time with my son or even managing my case correctly. I’ve been working closely with Jason Barbara, Nabeela Hamid, they came in cleaned up my divorce case and got me visitations with my son after just one court hearing. During my difficult divorce, this was one of the biggest moments of joy and I will forever be Thankful to Jason, Nabeela and their team. 2021-05-03I just started a case with Jason Barbara and Associates. I liked the time Jason took with me to listen all my concerns then when he spoke to me everything was clear. I love the way Donna take care of everything and is always in contact with me. Personally I have anxiety to deal with all court matters by myself, and so far everything is moving smoothly since I am with them. Nabeela is also assisting me with my case. She is very kind and a good listener, very professional. I am sure they are going to fight for me and my childs rights.

2021-09-17I feel compelled to write a review for this Law Firm.. All I had was my faith in God and the love for my daughter. Jason and Debora took my passion for my family and turned it into a case we could actually present in custody court. I now see my daughter everyday and she couldnt be happier. I might have sent Debora 4,000 emails lol. She was understanding, and listened to what I had to say. She always reassured me and realigned my focus. They both did, and I thank them for that. But, what I will share is that as a mother with a young child Jason, Nabeela and the entire legal team have not only soothed my nerves, but have structured responsive and assertive motions to safeguard mine and my beautiful daughters future.
