Called for a jump a month a ago. the driver can’t jump start my car (the guy in repair shop jump start it in a minute). What’s even worse, he towed my AWD with front wheels lifted and rear wheels on ground. I didn’t realize this is an problem until my friends told me this is WRONG! (Updates: I partially accept the towing companys explains to my review comments, so I removed some emotional phrases. But my owners manual explicitly say flatbed all-times.)
The driver was so nice and professional. The dispatch however was rude and unprofessional. To call an employee while he is dealing with customer shows he has and then speak rudely makes you not want to deal with your company.
New York City’s finest towing company. I applaud the tow truck driver who was able to load and unload our Chevy Suburban in a short time and within very tight streets.
I called the owner on phone, poor communication, verbal words, the owner is a joke. There’s a better towing company in Queens in Elmhurst stick to them better quality and better rates.
Nice people. Quick arrival. Professional towing service. Finger cross that I dont need the service again, but if I do, Ill call Jays towing.

I tried to get off the junk from abandoned car from my parking space ,I call many towed company on website,but theyre refused to work on it,even they could but the price was too much until I call JAYS Towing ,theyre the cheapest and fast.on time for scheduled and awesome job.Thank u guys for all the services.i definitely recommended for this towing company.

2022-05-26This company towed my car and as I’m headed to pick it up had the nerve to tell me he’s in NJ and I just have to wai…the lot looks like it’s a scam. No other cars with plates on it aside from mine…no address to the actual lot. Very unprofessional and I don’t recommend at all.

2020-04-25I would highly recommend Jay towing service. During this pandemic, the places I called claiming 24/7 or open were not open at all except this place. The person was responsive on the phone and provided me with a price in few minutes by text. The price was very fair and reasonable. My car stalled around 6 am in front of Queens Mall and the mechanic car garage located at Clifton, NJ. I’ve had experiences with tow trucks and had dealt with their inflated cost and long waiting times longer than 6-7 hours. The driver quickly loaded my car in the truck and left right away. Thank you for helping me.

2020-12-16Worst towing company ever used, they towed my car from my own car parking spot and demanded money. Also scratched my car while towing. I spoke to owner he cursed me out and I contacted bbb and they stated the owner has to reimburse me but being a busy I didn’t Continue to pursue for 300$ . I hope this review helps people realize they are the worst.

2019-10-30My car broke down in the middle of a street in Flushing. I was blocking traffic. Called Jay - somehow he knew exactly where I was - look to your left, is there a blue trash dumpster there? why yes there was. 15 minutes later, he arrived, and towed me to the nearest auto-repair shop. He couldve charged me an arm and a leg, given the pressure I was under (blocking traffic and all) but the price was very very reasonable. Great service - professional, super fast, and great price. I highly recommend.

2019-03-09I needed my familys minivan moved from our garage to a nearby shop and after doing research, I found Jays Towing with very good reviews and ratings and decided to give him a shot.Not only was he professional, he was also patient and kind enough to wait with us at the shop until the mechanic arrived for 15 mins.Highly recommended and would do business with Jays towing again if needed.

2018-10-14Never thought Id be reviewing a tow company, but the service went smoother than expected. I had Jay (or one of his workers maybe not sure I forgot introductions) come out to where I locked myself out of my car in the Whitestone Expressway Plaza at 11:40 pm, and I put a rush on it. Jay came through and got me back in my car in 1 minute flat. Worth the $ imo.

2020-01-29Thought I was working with a courteous person . Set me to A random street where the cars are held. Constantly letting me know the driver is close the driver is close. Half an hour later still no driver hour later still no driver. If you are going to use this company know that they will not tell you an accurate time do not pick the car up unless someone is there waiting for you.

2020-10-11It was a Sunday night 9:42pm. I called 9 towing companies. 3 took my info down and said theyll come. Jays showed up 26 minutes later, the other came at 1243am, and the other never showed up. Jays: reliable, fast, and professional!

2018-11-09The towing is ok but is associated with a dishonest auto repair shop called Excellence Auto&Towing 55-11 Northern BLVD, Woodside, NY. They left my car on the street all week long without looking at it and tried to extra charge the insurance company. Excellent kept lying and very dishonest. They even stole $375 from the insurance money from mine. I hope no one has to go through the same bad experience that had encountered. I called AAA to stop giving out this towing service to its clients and will also report Excellence Auto&Towing.
