Great shop as they helped get my car audio system back up and running!
Just had Jazz Audio recently work on my car. They installed a new radio for me. Would definitely recommend again and I will definitely be returning to do further business with them whenever is needed
Went in last week for a Sub & Amp install, Gene the owner was a really friendly and knowledgeable guy and hooked me up with a double sub box with the amp. I started having issues with one of the subs this week and he had me in and out in the same day with a brand new upgrade. The system sounds great and was tuned to some crisp highs and lows 👍 Loving it
I went in for a new head unit in a 15 year old truck. The price I got was really good and the installation was clean and tight. After finding out there was a manufacturer defect with the unit the team at Jazz was super responsive and helpful. They took care of changing it out the very next day and again the install was clean and professional. Overall I was extremely satisfied with their service and prices.
I did not have any work done here yet, I went there to make an appointment but the staff were very friendly and helpful Jean has a very great aura about him very down to earth and knowledgeable he knows his products and line of work I will get my cars done in Nov. so check back I will post my experience, the 5 star I gave is for the neatness, cleanliness and the overall layout of the business.Stay tuned 😉
Just put in some new alpine speakers and a jvc head unit, I worked with Phil he made the process easy as could be! The truck sounds fantastic they did a clean install Im extremely happy with the results!
Recently I decided to replace the stock radio in my Ford cargo van with a CD/bluetooth capable unit. Gene was very helpful presenting options.The cost was reasonable, the radio was promptly installed and the tech (Garrett, I believe) did a good job explaining how to operate it.I just wish the buttons were larger (haha) !Completely satisfied with Jazz Audio; strongly recommend !
This place is the best. All the staff is EXTREMELY helpful, patient, and kind. I’ve always had the pleasure of Mike helping me. I am very particular when it comes to my car and I’ve taken it there numerous times for a variety of things from remote start to a new radio. I have never been disappointed. If you are unhappy with something they will fix it for you right there on the spot. They are very knowledgeable and will work with you to get you exactly what you want. 10/10 would highly recommend!!
Went for new touch screen inside speakers to be changed all around. The radio we talked about wasnt installed as i was told to come back itll be switched out i go since covid hit he was like come back the speaker was only changed in front doors not back inwhich i paid for my backup camera was not put back on as to the order never came in. I called sept was told the part still havent been delivered im like since march i call oct never heard anything else from him. He knew once business opened back up I should have been one of the 1st calls since i was the last one to be serviced
Mike is very accommodating, fair and knowledgeable. I’ve had both my kids bring their cars in for alarm systems and remote starts and this is my second BT receiver installed. I absolutely love it so much I don’t want to leave my car. Jordon installed it and was meticulous. After installation he spends time explaining the functions so you feel comfortable driving away. Great service overseen by owner Gene. I am the original owner of a 1991 Acura NSX with only 37K miles on it. I want to keep it all original. I was having issues with the original audio system and Gene was able to diagnose the problem. These can be complicated and so an experienced tech is highly recommended. They replaced the appropriate component and I was good to go.An added bonus is that they were fair in their pricing to do the work. Highly recommend them for any car audio! Thanks.
Cheapest Ball-Game in town! By far the lowest labor rates compared to the competitors. I had all my gear already purchased else where, and they had no issue w installing all of it. This option also beat a 3 month wait time at Bestbuy. No long waits due to Covid!! Highly satisfied, highly recommended! Gene, was a gentleman and highly knowledgeable.
Jazz installed a remote starter thru Generation Kia and they did a fantastic job! When Kia returned the car to us it was set to turn the vehicle off if the door was opened. I didnt like that feature and the awesome people at Jazz did everything in their power to help me, even tho Generation Kia was their customer they added the Secure Takeover feature and I left a very satisfied customer! 5 stars for the people at Jazz...perfect installation job with the customer service skills to match!! Had work done years ago and when I wrote a bad review they called to tell me to take it down or they wouldnt honor the warranty. Thats the type of business you got here. Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere else for any work. Posted the review now cause the warranty is over so they cant threaten me with that anymore!

This place is wonderful and Mike is also a stand up owner who always helps you in need. I have have several car starters installed for my adult children’s cars for gifts. I also had a stero system installed and a Viper tracking device installed to protect and keep them safe . They did come to the rescue a few times when my daughter needed help and didn’t know where she was. Truly a life saver . Professionally installed and very fair to the consumer . Great service all around!
This is my second time back to Jazz and i would not go anywhere else. Installation both times were perfect & VERY professional. Mike was great to work with, kept me informed through the whole process. Prices are very good and they took the time both times to explain all the cool features my equipment has and hook up my Bluetooth. I would certainly recommend them and would never go anywhere else. Christmas came early for me ! Mike at Jazz Audio was so helpful from start to finish. He was able to answer all of my questions for getting an automatic starter installed in my car. I heard of jazz audio from a friend and after my experience I will never go any where else. I called about having a remote starter installed in my wife’s car and I was not let down. Mike told me to bring it down to the shop whenever and it will get done. No appointment needed and at my connivence. We discussed a price over the phone and it was the same price the next day when I got the car done. Very thorough job and well explained how to use the remote start by the staff. The very next day I bought another car down to the shop and got the same excellent service. You would be crazy to go anywhere else!
I walked into jazz audio and wow wow wow!!! I have never in my life gotten better assistance then going here!! I walked in asking about a new subwoofer system that wasn’t going to break my bank, and I found just that here!! Gene the gentleman behind the desk was so helpful and a funny guy also, I 100% recommend this place, they will do right by you!!!!
Got my radio replaced in my 06 Sentra here. Mike was great, explained everything to me and even took extra time out of his day to make sure the new radio fit with my subwoofer and that every speaker was in working order. A+ service and a very friendly professional business. Would recommend to anyone!
They installed a remote start in my 06 Silverado. Anthony recommended a great system for my truck and Dave went above and beyond on the install. I even brought my truck back to them to customize a coupe of options on my remote start and they were happy to take care of it . The install is neat, clean and Im very happy with how things went!

Brought car in had an appointment at 9:30 am for remote start had the car all day and called later in the evening and told me car was not done and would be done first thing next morning and they would put my car in garage (?). Went by the store early in the morning before they were open the next day and saw that my car was never put in garage. Also went to pick up the car when it was finally done, they had left the side window open - it was pouring out and got interior all wet. Also, Deep scratch on Passenger right fender that I had not noticed before????
Jazz Audio did a great job adding CarPlay, a back-up camera, and auto start to my new car, and they did it in just a few hours! They even took the time to go over all of the features they installed. Great job, excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
Brought car in to have a stereo system installed, 5 days total between back and forth and multiple screw ups. They installed in glove box, and only way I can control with remote is with glove box open. They said there’s nothing they can do, so I looked up part that would work, so I had to there job, because they don’t know what they are talking about!!! Over a month later and he said part is on back order. Got fed up and brought it somewhere else, he was able to get part in three days and fixed mess they installed!!! If you want a cheap price, they are good for that, but expect cheap service and Installation. Would not recommend them to anyone!! I’m in many car clubs and members have asked where to get a sound system done. I tell them say clear of Jazz.
Mike was amazing to work with from the first hello. We were able to have remote starters installed into 2 vehicles on the same weekend with mess than a weeks notice and he stood by his price quote even though one vehicles keys gave him a hard time ND he had to spend more of his own money to.complete the job. The best customer service you will ever receive!

I had a great experience at Jazz Audio. I originally went to get automatic start put into my car, but then went back to have them change my brake lights as well. The service was fast even without an appointment and everyone was welcoming and very nice!

I went in to crisp up the sound in my Toyota 4Runner. I went with Mikes recommendations. the sound is fantastic they did exactly what they promised exactly when they said they would. The quality of the work is perfect neat and clean install. The also did very well on the pricing. I couldnt be happier
I am writing this review with sincerity. I have a 2012 Ford Raptor and I was having major trouble with my stereo. I took it to the Ford dealership and after $500 to trouble shoot it and reprogram it it still didnt work. With major frustration I was told to contact Jazz audio. I decided to call them and Mike answered the phone and right away I felt confident after speaking to him. He guaranteed me that they could find and fix the problem. I took truck to them and after discussing some options they came up with a plan of attack. I know that it was a difficult job because I also took it to another audio place and they couldnt fix it either. After about a week I was told to come down and check out my new system. Man, I couldnt be happier. Great system, great service and great sound. Thanks to all of them at Jazz audio. Phil, you are the man. You guys have my highest recommendation.
Gene the owner along with his loyal and very competent staff Mike and Phil have always been there to assist in alarming and installing auto starts and aftermarket systems into my family’s vehicles for almost 30 years now. Gene has even gone out of his way to check a bad system in my driveway once. Ge is a staple in our community and I’m pleased to see his entrepreneurship growth in so many other small businesses that are thriving here in Selden. I consider Gene a great businessman and like to call him friend! Kudos!
I just got my car stereo, 2 sets of speakers (front & back), and alarm with keyless entry installed at Jazz Audio in Selden. I have to say that I couldnt be happier with their service!! Best Buy wanted to charge me $200 just for the alarm installation and the grand total came to some ridiculous price, needless to say I walked right out of there and went straight to Jazz Audio where Mike and his crew of professionals gave me a great deal and provided excellent service! I will definetly be returning there to install my subs and amp soon! Thanks again Mike & crew for a top notch job!
These guys are great! I went in looking for new tweeters for my f150. I bought them, then went back into with a question on how they are mounted and they gave me hardware to help with the install for nothing. EXTREMELY HELPFUL, EXTREMELY COURTEOUS! They sound great! I bought a viper 2 way alarm system from them for almost $600 after tax 2 years ago. After less then a year my 2 way key started acting up all the lights would start blinking and making noise and nothing would work a little less then half the time I used it. After I couldnt take it anymore I started using the spare. After a couple months the whole remote start and both keys did not work at all. I went to have it checked out by them and right away mike was trying to sell me a new key remote for $100. I refused to buy another key and asked him to please just get the starter working with the one remote I had that was working. His guy had it working in 10 to 15 minutes then tried to tell me he would normally charge 75 but would only charge me 50 for a whole 15 mins worth of work that should of been fixed for free. I bought the starter there and they are the ones that installed it. A almost $600 viper auto start should not fail that quick. My old car I had a $150 no name starter and it lasted until I sold the car 8 years later. Also while I was there a woman came in for the same problem and she said it was the second car she had the same problem with the remote starts. She also said she would never return. I was also told by mike when I was leaving that my 2 way remote was completely shot and tried selling me one again. I refused, went home and put a new battery in my 2 way remote and it is now also working fine. Not good business. Just keep try selling you stuff you dont need. STAY AWAY!
Mike was great getting me set up with everything I could need for my used truck, all at a great price. I told him my budget and he did everything he could to get me as much as possible within that window. Will definitely be back again!
Jazz audio is the place to go. Went to two other places before jazz audio and I got taken advantage of very badly.Jazz audio corrected all the issues and installed and amp and kicker for me. The whole system sounds beautiful. Technicians stayed 2 hours late to finish up my truck. Highly recommend this place. A bunch of real nice stand up guys. For the record Im a very hard man to please.
I got a new stereo system put in my Honda Accord, first thing I heard is that the head unit didn’t work and I was forced to go to Best Buy and pick up a new head unit for them. Come to find out after I had to get the head unit re done because it was all messed up is that they didn’t even BOTHER to put half the screws back into the car. Further more, they broke some of the clips in my center console so now the whole console rattled and I had to get new clips for that too. I really wish that they could actually care about what they are working on. However I will say all the workers were extremely nice they just don’t know what they are doing.
My girlfriend purchased an auto start kit from Groupon at a great rate, but unfortunately had to go to Jazz Audio. At first her car was in good conditions, but after her car was worked her front driver side door did not from either inside or out. Jazz Audio didnt even offer to repair it when it was clearly their fault. Car was fine going in and now she has to climb through the passenger door until we can fix it. Thanks Jazz Audio for horrible service and not accepting responsibility on your mistake.
I dealt with Mike and I couldnt be happier. He didnt have the monitor I wanted for my back up camera so he called around and found it. He did the install the next day and everything worked perfectly. This is the second time I used him and was equally pleased both times. I highly recommend Jazz Audio. Dont let the negative reviews scare you as it seems like there is a lot of back biting in this industry.

Seemed like they did a good job at first but left some of panels not fully closed with screws missing. And didnt bother to clean up cut the crimped wires around the car. Then my steering wheel controls stopped, citing a compatibility issue, but was fixed by another

Great experience at Jazz Audio, I got my radio replaced and everything works great. Avenue sound offered me 270 but I only paid 170 at Jazz Audio. Mike and the rest of the staff were pleasent and knowledgeable

Great work as always, I love this place, sometimes it can be slow and stressful only because of only how busy they are, but once its your turn you have there full attention, Im having a custom subwoofer box made for my JL audio system and I cant wait to see how it is, always only good things from this place! They always work with me to help in any possible way, One of the young men there Robbie is amazing and has done mostly all my work and its been nothing but satisfaction. You guys are the best!

Guys there are very eager to help, knowledgeable, fast & without killing your pockets! I went there years ago, I also went to a company down the road from them. The owner at the other place was full of scams, always reeling me in & over charging me on everything. One time I think I paid extra because he was doing work to my car in his garage while it rained outside. The people at jazz audio care about your needs. Jazz Audio has the most efficient team of installers, i HIGHLY recommend this business also for the fact that they are welll advertised, same owners and most of the same staff for a very long time, my husband delt with the same owners many years ago. its a no brainer!! They are great from window tinting system installation tire and rim installation and even great customer service they have been my go to for everything I have ever needed for my mobile vehicle equipment! Very reasonably priced and work with you with what you got to spend stop in and check them out they really have some great stuff!!!
Long story short...1. I was promised the best installation of my audio system but the sound sucked and they did not tune my products correctly and did not wire it correctly.2. Was promised within 2 days to be complete. It took 9 days.3. There were few items stolen from my truck and when I contacted them, it was a waste of breath.4. I will never go there again.

This guy flat out ripped me off. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR BUISNESS. I previously have done business with the other crew that worked here and received reasonable prices and great service, not with these new guys running the show. I was quoted a price of 115 for 1 pioneer 10 sub (15 bucks more than I was charged for my previous pioneer subs) but whatever its 15 bucks. So they go to install it and its too wide for my box ok not their fault but what happens next is where this dude scams me. So he says he has another sub he can use and still charge me the same price yada yada like hes giving me a more expensive sub...nope is a 49.99 Wal-Mart special peice of junk. I get home and look into this no name sub and realize this guy just robbed me. I bring it back to him and he refuses to refund my money. I wound up taking a cheap set of 5 1/4 interior speakers as a swap and will never set foot in that store ever again. His prices are outrageous and his service is shady at best.
They are really great in terms of service and knowledge of the product. Excellent price as well. I got an alarm system on my 2003 toyota camry LE 6 cylinder 3.0L engine. I was happy with the product and the guy Mike at the countet even added in an extra thing with a remote start to keep my car started and lets me takr my keys out and lock/arm the car with it started. It was definitely a good price for the product tbh and I looked up the product online. No hassles and they beat Avenue Sound. I have been to Avenue Sound on Main Street and Jazz Audio in Selden on Middle Country road. Mom reccomended the Jazz Audio on Sunrise around Bohemia but Selden was closer. Avenue Sound does rip you off. However their knowledge is good. But the price is very high. Exact same service. The warranty on Jazz Audios alarm system was a lifetime warranty. Avenue Sound only did a 1/2 year thing. My service person at A.S. was Shaun(Shawn? Whatever). Hope this helps anyone!!
Initally quoted 200 to install an automatic start. They knew the exact car I was bringing in. Once I got there they literally doubled the price stating since it is a specific model they would need an additional piece. They knew this before I went in........ on top of that my they ripped off my brother for a stereo installation with another bait and switch ordeal. Would not recommend.

So I met Gene and the two gentleman he had take their time on my truck, after failed attempts and sloppy work, not to mention highway robbery (literally) at tint world and a couple other places I was ready to give up on my passion to enhance my audio sounds, Gene sat down with me found what I liked, told me what I didnt need because it was a waste of money as opposed to up selling me. They did the job and did it well. Thank you Gene. O and make sure you check out his bagel store with the 50s theme. Well what can I say. We got a remote starter from them. Service was quick and the people were very nice. Mike helped us and explained how to use it. So far, so good.
I recently added a remote start and jvc touch screen radio with apple play and i must say it makes driving my car a better experience , mike at jazz gave me a great deal and i’m sure he’ll give you one as well !
It has been months since my daughter got her remote start installed at Jazz Audio. Problems from the very start and they continue. No responsibility for their screw ups .. they left a single mother without a car for over a month while her father had to fix what they messed up .. after climbing through trunks, non stop alarms going off, towing of the car, and now she cannot get inspection as the wires are hanging loosely from Jazz Audios work. After a phone call to them they belittled her and stated Oh you talk bad about us on the review site, and NOW you want us to help you?!?. She was asking nothing more than they fix what they initially screwed up. Nothing false was said, cannot say it was slander if it was the truth. How dare they!?

Had a remote starter installed in my wife’s car just before Christmas 12/18 I don’t know what happened to that company, but this is my sixth time back and “ Mike “ that works there claims there’s is nothing wrong with it as he try’s to start it and it WONT START and then says I’ll give you store credit——- no I want a remote starter that works or my money back or we get the police involved and off to court we go and I will be looking for time lost from work so many places out there please go somewhere else! I will keep you posted ! Ok still here at 2:05 pm five hours now I called Suffolk police got a report in the report they also state it’s been back six times so next time it’s off to small claims court

Got my car done and my girlfriends car done. At first I thought this place was awesome my car had 35% all around so did my girlfriend except her rear windshield was 20% the day I brought my car home I saw a huge scratch in the tint on the passenger side window, they replaced that tint. Then a few weeks later my girlfriend wanted a windshield strip I called a week in advance to make an appointment and said I would be waiting since I wont have somebody to pick me up. I wound up waiting for a simple windshield strip for 3 and a half hours because he took in 2 other cars before mine when I had an appointment. Then 6 months after that my girlfriends window started peeling. I went back and the tinter replaced the tint with a darker tint 20% on the driver window when it had 35% before. This place is all over and not organized and I would not come back. The reason I gave it a second star is because the car did eventually get right

You get what you pay for. The guys there know what theyre doing. If it seems a little pricey, its better than having to go back for a problem. ive went to many other audio stores such as Sound Trax and Sound Effects and Avenue Sound, they all were really pricey and left me with a bunch of problems. Jazz Audio knows what theyre doing, and heck, theyre even closer to my house. Spend your money wisely.

So my boy first suggested the place but then was like NO NO NO NO NO. So long story short, charged him $1500 for speakers. They stopped working within a month and the manager gave him attitude for coming back... like tf.
Good folks. Had a remote start system installed. Took about 2 hours like they told me it would. My dealership outsources to this company frequently. Do recommend.

You pay for quality, so, while its not the cheapest place around it is high quality and you do get what you pay for here.They stand behind thier products and installation. Highly recommended.
I was not very satisfied after having a remote start installed here. Was told I would get a call when done and never did resulting in me picking it up right before they close. When i got there I was just handed the keys. No one showed me how it work or anything after spending hundreds of dollars

If you like being scammed this is the place for you my friend bought his brother a gift card to here for Christmas they give you a paper copy and don’t write anything down in the system that a gift card was sold to you or keep it in the books or anything so if you loose this one single piece of paper they give you guess what you just lost all your money they scammed my friend out of over 200 dollars even though he has the receipt and credit card transacation proof the owner still refused. the owner is a low life scum who does this on purpose to screw people out of money I recommend never shopping here for anything

The negative reviews must have been planted by local competition because these guys know what they are doing. The owner has been in business for at least 20 years and takes pride in knowing his stuff. Prices are fair as well. Worth the trip if you are on the Island.

Recently got a remote start installed, dropped my car off in the morning and got a call a few hours later and it was ready. Remote start works great and the staff was great at answering all of my questions
Im not sure about the other reviews but I can assure you this one is real I went in today looking for a new head unit/radio I went in with high prices and high end units in mind I wanted something nice for my 2006 mustang I ended up with a really nice unit and really nice service Mike was a great sales man the price was a little high but I was given a accurate quote before, so far I have no complaints or problems with the installation or the unit.
Mike the owner is really nice he gave us a good price on are remote starter for are nissan armada it only took him 2 hours and he was honest about the price and we bought it at 4pm and he was able to install it the next morning when he opened the store he is also the owner at cellas,slices and the spa he was the best and deserves 5 stars :)

Terrible service, they are thieves and mainly that man who attends is called Mike. I went to reinstall an audio system because I had removed it and only to reconnect it was charging me $ 150 after it comes out and says oh your car has no sound and Im left with the doubt, then the guys who were installing the Audio tell me that the problem was because a cable from the plant was up and only because of that cable I wanted to charge $ 100 more! Then I asked to speak with the owner and told him that the extra $ 100 was too much that he could help me and suddenly this guy appears again saying Mike hey my friend $ 250 is fine !! And I told him I was too lonely for a 10 CM cable then I told the owner lookI have $ 200 for everything (although $ 50 for that cableIts also too much but good) lets follow the owner says ok $ 200 I charge you but I do not give you a guarantee ... you can imagine that PESIMO SERVCIO GIVES YOU AFTER THEY CHARGED YOU TOO ... I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE !!!! DO NOT BOAT YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE !!

2022-01-10Went to Jazz Audio and meet with Gene to install a factory type backup camera on my VW. We had a small issue with availability of parts (due to Covid supplier issues.) on the installation Gene went out of his way to make the issue right. He even installed it himself a couple days before Christmas. Jazz Audio now has a customer for life. A+++ & First Class. Thank you

2022-05-17I had Kenwood speakers installed today in my 2014 Nisan. Altima S, to replace the factory installed ones which were failing to perform. The business came highly recommended two years ago I when I had to replace the factory installed radio on my car. At the time I purchased a Pioneer MV240BT radio, recommended at that time. I was pleased with the service, and the quality of the unit installed.I emailed the business a couple of days ago and got an appointment at my convenience, relatively quickly from the owner, Gene Cella who I called and spoke to.I live about a 30 minute drive west of where the store is. It was worth the trip 2 years ago and it was worth the trip again today as well. Mike at the front desk was very helpful in recommending the best and most affordable options. I don’t remember the two technicians names who did the install, but they were helpful too, so thank you to them as well for completing the install.

2016-11-05Incredible place, Got my hood stripe installed here and while they dont normally do that, they had me bring it in and take a look at it. Assured me there would be no problems installing it but that it might take some time. 100% worth the wait, the manager Michael is extremely nice and assuring and doesnt play any games with the price or the product, what he says is what youll get. Great business would highly recommend.

2021-10-16First time i went and dealt with Gene, who i assume is the owner. he knows his stuff very well. loved the outcome round one. today i went back to get the same exact setup installed in another vehicle and was told gene was not available, i have 3 12” subs and he ran those all off of one 600 watt amp. i told him they had both amps installed in the past and he said it would be fine with just the one, then continued to attempt to sell me on a new amp for me to find out that they installed it on the 600 watt amp and not my bigger amp, no clue why they assumed it would work but it did not. i went home with no subs installed and when i got home i went ahead and redid what they did on my other amp and what do you know… works perfectly fine.. all said and done. if you deal with Gene you will have a great experience. anybody else, not so much…

Dont worry about it thing he says I got everything under control you have a beautiful new stereo in 2 hours I didnt believe him well let me tell you its perfect... Even called me up when is tint guy got there like he said he would and had him do my windows while the stereo was being installed.. no extra time needed...

2022-04-17Shopped around a few places to install an upgrade to my G wagon sound system because for the second time in 5 years the navigation went and the cost to fix it was not work it.. So looked around and checked different places and checked there reviews I wanted to make sure they do good work. I came back to Jazz Audio, I have used Jazz Audio in the past for other Mercedes I have but wasnt sure about the G wagon. I gave them the chance, well they did a great job!!! Hats off to Jordan the installer, he took his time and did a beautiful job. It was neat no exposed wires sounds fantastic just as the way it looks. He broke nothing took his time. He put in new radio📻, DVR, TV📺 monitors, backup 📷, and a box with amp. Thank you Jordan and thanks Mike for the great pricing. Will definitely do business there again.

2021-09-09I upgraded the audio system in my 2012 Camaro with a new Alpine Car play system and new Alpine speakers. The system sounds AMAZING I can express how happy I am. I also took the opportunity to get my windows tinted. The person at the counter helped me find the system and components I needed within my price range. Now my car sounds great and my windows look fantastic. I highly recommend them.
