Jazz on Columbus Circle Hostel in New York
Very nice hostel at a really good price! The staff is super kind and helpful and the rooms are standard hostel rooms. It has a really nice common area where you can get coffee and/or tea and sit down for a bit. Location is also great! We walked everywhere or took the subway, there’s plenty of lines nearby. Highly recommend it! 😊😊
First off, the location is excellent. On a big street right next Central Park, with a lot of public transport connections and restaurants. The room was not very clean and I felt that it was expensive for what you actually get.One thing that I really didnt like was being charged 5 dollars a bag for storing my bags for a couple hours in their storage room. This is something that is usually free of charge everywhere else ive been.
Great staff, great location, good price, guys separated from girls, FREE BAGELS AND MUFFINS for breakfast!!! Awesome new showers in each room and most important close to all the metro stations, Time Square, Central Park and so much more! ♥️ I love it here and its really clean. Maybe a tad cold in winter so bring in cozy PJs!!!!
Love 💘 the location and how many restaurants and CVS is Open 24 Hours. Nice hostel with Air Conditioner in the dorm room and the bed 🛌 is vary comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful with information on the neighborhood of course. Definitely a great place to stay in Manhattan, New York 👌
I will stay another hostel next time for sure. You need to buy towel($5), NO hair dryer at all(even in the reception), NO curtain(only small half-sized curtain never enough to cover the window), NO shampoo(even the low quality ones), NO shared restroom(that you can use when ur rooms is occupied cos shower booth and toilet is right next to each other), NO kitchhen, a sheet of cover TOO thin(if heating is not good, then at least a warm blanket should be provided). Nice staffs and clean bedroom, but they dont seem to be eager to fix the problem even with small things and it IS very uncomfortable.
It’s pretty bad.-Free breakfast was advertised but we learned they were no longer doing it upon arrival.-No towels despite advertising that as well.-Luggage storage prior to check in was advertised as free but we were charged $5 per bag in person.-Their phone number doesn’t work so you can’t call ahead to ask questions.-The bed squeaked loudly whenever you moved a tiny bit, and the bedding didn’t fit the size of the bed.-The A/C only cooled the room a little bit, was loud, and leaked condensation onto the floor.-The hallways and room had an unpleasant odor. We’re also not sure if they cleaned the room before we arrived because the floors seemed dirty.
You get what you’re paying for, people! If you just need a place to sleep and keep your items safe... stay here! The location is phenomenal being so close to Central Park, Time Square, and the D-Line subway. You are also close to Lincoln Center for Performing Arts. If you want luxury, book a hotel! If you just need a bed for a cheap weekend trip, stay here!I felt safe for my whole stay!
This was quite literally the least expensive place to stay in NYC.The hostel was very very clean, the desk staff were welcoming and nice, and I had no issues staying there. The only problem would be that its very hard to find from street level, but Im a country yokel so Im not sure if Im just bad at the city.
Excellent location ! 5 min to central park and times square. Subway is nearby. Staff is very cute. BUT the rooms were steaming hot! We could not sleep at night because the AC was broken and there was no window in the room. Other than that, it is a vibrant place to stay short time
This hostel was so so close to being a truly great hostel! The rooms were cute and cozy and the facilities had some really great potential. However, there was a serious lack of plugs, which made charging devices inconvenient, and both showers I had there were pretty cold - seems like they have some hot water problems, which isnt the best sensation when youre about to go out in the January weather. The location was phenomenal, but the hostel itself is sort of hard to find at first. its just a teeny tiny door with no sign outside. Overall, I might stay here again, but only if the rates happened to be lower than the nearby hostels.
Rooms are clean, linens on bed are fresh, price is right. As a group of 4 we had our own room so it is basically like having a SIMPLE private hotel room and not a more typical hostel experience. Breakfast was only rolls and coffee. If youll be busy and not spending a lot of time in room it is exactly what you need.
Cheap option with great location. But, there’s no common areas where people can stay together e make noise without bothering other hosts. The breakfast they offer is just bread with jam and coffee. Showers are awful, drains are always clogged. Rooms smell bad and during winter heat turned the temperature in the room extremely high. Reception staff is always bored, clean staff is rude.
Not worth the price. The bunker beds are a little cramped and do not come with reading lights. No proper electrical sockets. The overall ambience will scare a tourist. Overflowing sewerage outside. The bathrooms are unclean. No proper work areas. The restrooms are not equipped with handwash. Breakfast is very basic. No proper management of breakfast.
Hostel with great location, and reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and you can leave your suitcase for storage for free. On the downside, the rooms are not very clean though. There was hair all over the floor in my room and the bed linen had strange stains...
Stayed here last August. It was quite the upgrade from my previous hostel in Montreal. So I was happy. The rooms need more plug ins or provide power bars, luckily I had one on me and literally everyone in the room was grateful. As well, there were no full length mirrors that I could find... which is very difficult when you’re short and the bathroom mirror maybe shows your shoulders, at max. But overall it’s really reasonable for its price!! Cheaper than a room on Airbnb! And the location is PRIME!!! Literally so easy to get anywhere in the city so quickly!!!! And it’s within an easy walking distance to literally all the tourist spots! Pretty clean building too! Nice staff, sometimes chatty but I think that the hostel vibe, plus if the guy hasn’t chatted my ear off I wouldn’t have ran into my favourite musician. So there’s that. Plus for the fact that it’s located in a pretty busy area, it’s literally dead quiet inside. Amazing.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! Worst hostel I have ever stayed in no cooking facilities, kitchen to make your own food not even a kettle. breakfast is a slice of bread and tea with powdered milk.. not as advertised!! Staff are very unhelpful. Cant use dryers and straighteners seemingly in the rooms I did it anyway even though they advertised hairdryers in their bathroom pictures. Pictures of hostel are not what you get when you arrive. Plastic used as window pains, if you are sleeping in the front you will not sleep from the sirens, traffic and bars playing music till all hours the noise is unbearable! After a 20hr trip to get to new York I didnt sleep that night and was up at 6am I asked for a new room after 10min of the lazy staff member saying he could not move me I got a new room.. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Three stars all for the convenience of the location. The rooms were clean enough. One bathroom for six people. Okay. I prefer they didn’t offer breakfast. If you love bagel and smucker’s grape jam then yay for you. That’s the only Option at “breakfast”. I’ve stayed at several hostels and the ones that offer breakfast offer something decent which is appreciated. I must say however the location to price ratio is ideal.
Was not the worst hostel, but also was by far the best. Breakfast has few options, also there is not much activities happening and the common areas are divided by floors. For the price and in a city like new York I expected more. Location is good. Also they never replied my emails, I had to call from the UK to ask something.
Stayed here last week . The location is amazing! The staff was awesome and helpful , i asked a lot of questions and needed hockey tickets printed and they were happy to help. It was the first time i ever stayed at a hostel , the rooms were super clean and i met some really nice friendly people from around the world . I guess the only downfalls would be the breakfast but tbh i didnt care because I wanted to go find places to eat and also the pillows werent the best but really those arent two problems you should be too upset about . Id stay here again .
One of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. While it has a central location, it completely fails on (my?) three basic needs for sleep: darkness, quietness and cleanliness. I stayed in a 5-bed shared room and although I even was alone in the first night, I decided to leave on the next morning. The curtains did not cover the whole window, the window itself was simple one-layer glass and the extremely noisy aircondition was right next to my bed. In addition, there were several hairs on my bed sheet and a lot of dirt on the window ledge and in the ventilation system.
The worst experience I had ever. I got a room with malfunctioned air condition, so its very cold in the room. And also, the shower room doesnt have hot water to take a bath. I complained to the staff about this, and they werent active to handle this and always asked me to wait. I dont know how to stay in the room in the pretty cold weather (-5℃ ~ -12℃).Furthermore, the staff told me that I could take some stuff I need out from my luggage and check-in my luggage later. However, when I took all stuff I needed out and wanted to check-in my luggage, the front desk didnt allow me to check-in my luggage. He said that the luggage is only allowed to be checked-in before I enter my room, so the responsibility for my luggage. His attitude was very bad and said that I can tell his manager if I feel unhappy. With the TERRIBLE experience, I decided to check-out directly without staying any day. But I still have to pay for one day.
I stayed in the private room. I didnt like the cleanliness. The bathroom was not so clean and water in the shower was draining very, very slowly. The AC was not working well, it was very hot in NY and the room could not get cold. Also, the rooms key stopped working twice during my 5-day stay. It really bothers when you arrive tired from walking all day and cant go to your room. The location is great, though. Very close to Times Square and Central Park.
Unsafe, dirty and bad staffed. My room door doesnt even close, the place smells bad, the storage room does not identify any bad and the staff doesnt seem to care much about any of these factors, which are just some of the ones who made this a terrible experience. The location is good but even though, I dont recommend it at all!
Nice location, near central park and Broadway. shared rooms with many beds and it has shared bathroom in each room and public one on 4th floor. No good kitchen but microwave is available. Front desk is nice. Before check in 3PM, I asked for a short shower, he said ok in the public bath. I was lucky to use the room alone at night but somebody talk loudly outside in the hall, which makes me not good sleep.
I rarely give bad reviews but feel this place needs to get a mention.Good location and possibly the cheapest price in the area. The heating didnt work in the room 306 (-5 outside) spoke to the receptionist and got a shrug of the shoulders. I asked for an extra blanket sorry we dont have any so I had to endure an extremely uncomfortable night in the cold wearing a jumper and using a towel for warmth. Checked out the next day (without refund of my next night) and went to a hotel.
Pros: friendly staff, good location.Cons: dirty towels (bring yours) and, they say it has light breakfast but they dont have any, theres staff for almost 24h (they say its 24h), theres no soap in the soap box, loosen outlets (you cant plug the charger in many because it falls).I dont recommend.
If the location wasnt just perfect (you cant find its match nowhere in Manhattan), Id rate this place with 2 instead 3 stars. This is more of a dorm with no common areas, beds extremely uncomfortable, breakfast, which is included, I got never chance to eat because all the food would be gone by 8:30 or 9am and its supposed to be served from 7:30 to 9:30.The elevator broke 2 times during my 3 days staying. Some of the staff was friendly and helpful, some was not. With the right management and just a little bit more effort, this hostel would be terrific for short and affordable visits to NYC.
Its a very clean hostel. It was easy to book and its in a great location. Amazing location, really. Very accessible to the subway, close to so many restaurants and Times Square/Central Park, and the staff was friendly. They provide lockers(must bring your own lock), towels, and clean linens. I want to give this place more stars, but it took awhile to get warm water in the shower and there is no kitchen/fridge for your food.A suggestion for the owner: provide a rental service for locker locks and sell bathroom slippers as well as other toiletries.
One star just for location. rooms have no standard and its a matter of luck to have a room in which you can sleep. Hence, I highly recommend not to make nonrefundable reservations. In my room, the AC was incredibly noisy. In addition outside AC facilities were also very noisy, even earplugs were useless. After 2 hours I spent in the room, I cancelled my reservation and moved to another place. should I mention it was a nonrefundable reservation and I couldnt take money back? Yes it was very expensive for me.
The location is great. Central Park, Broadway, time square and 5th avenue are around the corner! The hostel is nice and clean. But when I stayed there last June the elevator was broken, so it was very difficult for me to come upstairs. The owner of the hostel was very kind and nice so he helped me to come upstairs. For me was it not an ideal situation. The next day we moved to another hotel. We didnt get any discount, but we did get the money back for the other nights, which was good!So in my opinion its not wheelchair accessible.
Overall my stay was alright. Here are the things that disappointed me:1. Their was no breakfast even though it was supposed to be included with stay2. The receptionist took an extremely, extremely long time to check in the three guests in front of me2. The receptionist had headphones in and was texting and unresponsive while on the job3. The receptionist was eating very smelly food while helping customersOther than that my stay was as promised, thanks!
Loved this hostel. Located right next to central park on the 8th avenue. Went for a morning run in central park every morning I stayed here. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is very basic (a bread and coffee) but the coffee was good. Jazz also has some pretty cool events, like a comedian performing one night. All n all I really enjoyed my stay and this is one of those hostels that you can recommend to everybody.
I stayed here along with my friends for 4 days in May 2019.The good:1. The location of the hostel is fantastic: In Manhattan, and very close to Times Square as well Central Park so you dont spend much time travelling.2. There are very good eateries nearby: IndiKitch, 99 cents, Joes Pizza which are affordable and serve really good food. The bad:1. The wifi was really slow and would not work most of the times.2. The breakfast everyday was terrible and poor: a slice of bread and jelly. The ugly:1. The water filter status would always be red. When we asked the guy at the reception, he said they were waiting for the repair work, no idea who would do this.2. The hostel did not have proper power sockets: those were broken and the plugs couldnt even hold on them properly, they would be hanging.
First point, the location is superb. right at the Columbus circle at the southwest tip of the central park. All subways are super easy to reach within a few walking minutes. The rooms are nice and very clean and the hostel itself looks pretty modern. I was surprised by the nice and super new looking bathroom. Theres not much space in the rooms (I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm) but that was expected in Manhattan. The Hostel doesnt really have a common area which is kinda sad for single travelers like me, but they organized several events like rooftop party and comedy night etc.The WiFi in the hostel is awful u can barely text and only watch Netflix on mobile quality which is a no-go nowadays. The receptionist was uninterested and constantly doing private stuff on his phone during our check in conversation, really annoying and unprofessional. All in all the hostel is quite nice, it does what a hostel is supposed to be, giving you a nice an comfortable place to sleep for reasonable money.
Average, stay here. The price is expensive (70 euros a night) but I guess this is Manhattan.I sent many emails before check in but no one replied them. I needed invoice after checek out but they did not give me just one print without stamp and signature. Its a hard building to find, just a building number because theres no sign. The rooms are very dark and no bedside lamps or top bunk beds for bujis. In Breakfast was a bread and jam. I noticed the bread box, the kitchen closed to me under the counter. - Internet wireless is good, shower / bath relatively clean and the best thing I can say is that the location is right next to Central Park Columbus circle and corner. This is a hostel, it will be great for you but under low expectations.
A few class mates and myself stayed for a few nights. We had to switch rooms our last night. The bathroom was nasty, still with the previous peoples hair in the shower drain and leftover body wash in the shower. When this was brought to their attention, I was basically called a liar and told it had to be one of ours, despite me telling her and reassuring her it was non of our hair. We had to clean the bathroom ourselves just to take a decent shower.
This is honestly the nicest hostel I have stayed in. Large lockers (big enough to store a carry on luggage bag) memory foam mattresses, really good cotton bedding, and the bathroom in my dorm was surprisingly exceptional, like better than a lot of hotel rooms I have stayed at. I will reccomend if youre staying in a multi person dorm to bring chargers with an extra long cord in case youre in the top bunk.
Nice hostel with all the basics. Friendly staff with local knowledge of whats nearby (and speak spanish). Not a huge community/game room/ hangout spot but very affordable and well located for visiting NY. Has lockers, nightlight for the beds, enough electrical outlets, clean shower and bathroom.
They must have forgotten that its winter. The blanket is too thin and it was friggin cold. The bed was even extremely squeaky. It was so annoying whenever making tiny moves in bed. The shower had low pressure. Theres no window in the bedroom. Its dark and sad. It looked like a prison. The common space is too small and uncomfortable. The receptionists didnt inform me about the kitchen and breakfast.
Want to sleep? Dont come here. Ive been to hostels all over the world and have never seen a place with no quiet hours. There was no common area away from the rooms so people used the hallways as their own bar/club. Very loud talking laughing and drinking all night and all morning. If you have ears and can hear then avoid this place
Overall, met all my basic requirements, and made a good home base to explore NYC.The good: LOCATION! The walking proximity to Central Park and Times Square made my trip so much more enjoyable than a previous time when I stayed at another hostel near 104th Street, and there are loads of restaurants nearby. Free luggage holding after checkout. The en-suite bathroom was also pretty convenient, and the wifi signal in the dorm was okay. The not-so-great: There is no outside signage that I could see, and their phone didnt work, so I was starting to think Id been scammed when I happened to see someone with luggage coming out of the psychics storefront. The check-in clerk was a bit disinterested. The plug points in the dorm were not very conveniently located and a bit loose, therefore charging unreliably. The window opened onto a main street, so take earplugs if noise is an issue for you. The free breakfast was all gone by the time I went to check it out, but it meant I was forced to go to a great deli nearby, so it worked out okay in the end.
I went in early July, so disappointed. The hygiene problem is an issume. I am the only one in a 3 ppl bed. But there is a messy bed, and drink inside the room. Also, the bed and pillow is not clean with poor condition. And I book in bxxking.xxx with overall 8/10 marks. However, the location is very convenience which is good.
I am actually not staying here right now but my brother is! Theres bathrooms in every room and its clean and very well furnished! It is a perfect area for shopping for highend items and basics like groceries! I would suggest this hostel to everyone! Expert tip DO NOT GO TO CHELSEA INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL THEY HAVE A ROACH INFESTATION.
A really well located and affordable hostel, its a mere couple of blocks away from Central Park, which makes it perfect if you want to go out for a run of just look around it. Theres plenty of outlets in the rooms Ive been to but the Internet is not the best feature here.
Modern touches made the place seem nice at the beginning but as soon as my stay began I started to feel disappointed. Hostels in NYC are usually expensive but this was a bad cost:benefit ratio. They could do many things to make the stay pleasant but you can tell they’re cutting costs wherever they can.I give it a 2 only for location.- what is sold as breakfast consists on terrible coffee (powdered milk optional), bread buns (no toaster and in my case still in a cardboard box) and grape jam (yes, grape, and nothing else)- I stayed in a 6 person bedroom with no windows and bad ventilation, therefore gloomy and stinky- Pillow, sheets and cover were in very poor condition and need repl- No bed lights to read at night or to avoid waking up everyone else- What is sold as a lounge room is actually a gloomy little space (also windowless) that looks like an interrogation room and is only stealing space from the bedroom- Finally, the staff were nice and helpful but at times there was not enough people working there and they seemed overwhelmed
What I really love about this hostel is;- Very close to the subway station which is bonus.- Affordable rate especially in Manhattan area- Close to Times Square & Central Park- Near famous street 5th- Meet new room mate friends from different countries and explore the city together.Breakfast is just ok. Tea or coffee and buns. Dorms are unisex I did not know but it was ok with me.Wifi connection is wasn’t good at all.Bed sheets were not really comfortable; not heavy and it couldnt cover fully though I did not mind much because it was fall season and I did not visit NYC to sleep all day.- Staff are little friendly and helpful.- Mostly wall sockets plugs are lose.- bathroom was fine & clean towels. If your looking for affordable place in NYC and close areas to explore Manhattan, to lay down your head & your stuffs. I highly recommend here.#NYCHostel #UnisexHostel #AffordableNYCHostel #AffordableHostelinNewYork
If you are looking for a inexpensive place to stay and you’re not afraid of sharing space with someone you don’t know, this hostal is your go. So affordable, very clean but the best part it’s the location, 4min walking to Columbus Circle, Central Park, Rockefeller plaza, Hells Kitchen etc. There are some really nice restaurants close to the hostal. I highly recommend this if you are with a group of friends.
It is new and clean. BUT!!! Its public area is really small and the font desk is often empty . We wait more than half an hour to check In because there is no person. And more importantly, the air conditioner in my room is broken and nobody come to repair it. It is freezing in the winter night without air conditioner!!!This is the most expensive hostel Ive ever been. But the experience is almost the worst!
I booked a bed 3 months in advance. Everything was Ok, booking was confirmed. But they cancelled my booking in the day of arrival. The official reason was because provided card details were wrong (everything was correct by the way). They had 3 months to check it, but managed to do it in the last day, when I was in the plane. So I had to search another accommodation in the last minute because I didnt have any place to go. Assume that they just gave my bed to someone who paid more :(
Just walked through there. It is a previous unused MTA walkway that was upgraded to be a new convenience snack stop o various food and beverage items with a few miscellaneous shops. I guess it was built for businesses to get foot traffic. It is semi open space heating. It definitely become a nice stop to avoid the cold winter air. They do have a lot of tables spread out for dining. Seems to be speaking for tourist. It does not have your everyday type of stores in it. There is however, a pizza place at the far end of it. Might be a stop for a different experience
Everything is very clean the people are really nice, great location walk to anywhere the red line is one block down. Cons: housekeeping will just walk in after a tap on the door, beds are comfortable but squeezed really bad when moving around. I will always stay here when in NYC
I stayed here last year and next time I find myself in NY I would definitely book this hostel again! Subway stations were near by. Central park was walking distance I think it was like a 8min walk. McDonalds and wendy were on the same block. Walgreen( or was it CVS 🤔) was down the block. Timesquare was also walking distance.
Nice and clean hostel conveniently located close to Central Park and colombus circle. The subway is just a few minutes walking so youre in quickly everywhere in the city. Breakfast is just bagels and jelly so dont expect too much. I wanted to book via phone but this was not possible, they referred me to the internet which was a hassle on the smartphone.
Great location, high cost-price ratio! You could walk to central park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 10~20minutes. Its near shopping outlet, fast food restaurants, Broadways theaters, and Time Square. If you want to find something not perfect, the hostels breakfast supplying is too late and boring.
This is a great fallout foto your Stay in NYC. The hostel is clean, every room has a bathroom and there is always somebody at the front desk. The hostel is a little hard to find in the beginning, but remember the adress and youll get there. The hostel is at walking distance from the theatre district and Times square. Just 2 blocks away from the hostel you can rent bikes for 10 dollar a day. A great wat to experience NYC.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSTEL. I just got out of the shower & was getting prepared to check out. It was 10:30 ish. The house cleaning lady knocked & opened the door 1/4 way. I keep telling her to get out because I was naked. I repeatedly told her close the door.At 10:45 the receptionist Mejia (16 YO, 52, Spanish girl) walked into my room unannounced. She was upset that I did not allow the cleaning lady to clean the room. I explained the situation. Mejia was very combative & would not leave the room.I finished packing & left the room. As I was going into the staircase (elevator was broken) on the 4th floor she starting getting very aggressive. Mejia started pushing me & saying rude things to me. MEJIA PUSHED ME DOWN 4 FLIGHTS OF STARES & PUSHED ME OUT THE FRONT DOOR.There was numerous witness. The police were called. Officer Navarro 30666 Midtown North of Manhattan responded. No charges were filed because no injuries occurred.Needless to say avoid this horrible hostel.
Reallly ridiculous place !! They do not give accomodation to folks who are from NY state. They are in NY and they do not give it to NY other county residents. They charged me for the booking for initial deposit, but they are now denying my stay in the place. And the reason they are givin is No New York State Resident. They should be kicked off from the state.

2022-06-19DO NOT book this place!! They will take your money without any consideration of your circumstances. I booked this hostel and a couple of hours later I had to cancel my reservation due to an emergency that I did not foresee at the time of my booking!! They decided that they will keep my money $654 to be exact and provide a refund of some kind of fee that was $21. I contacted the manager to help me out, they literally do not care. It’s such a poor customer service, so inconsiderate especially during these times. This is not a small amount that they are stealing from individuals who find themselves in a a unfortunate situation where they have no choice but to cancel the reservation. They are able to make exceptions but they refuse to! My reservation was not canceled the last minute, it was literally canceled hrs after booking. I will continue to share my experience regarding this hotel. They ignore the communication and refuse to provide name or contact of someone who is in charge of the hotel to look into my issue.

2022-04-12The position is great but the rooms are really dirty (we stayed for 3 days and they never came to clean + bedsheets were awful). You have only a bathroom per room and in the morning its a mess since the rooms are for 6/8 people. Definitely it costs too much for what it offers

2022-07-04Location is good - really close to all the hustle bustle at the heart of the Manhattan city. Towels and toilet paper are provided on request at the reception. Shared rooms are a bit congested. Otherwise people were nice.

2022-06-11The location and price isnt enough to justify staying here. The pics of common areas on hotels.com and Hostelworld were false advetsing. The water filter desperately needs to be changed (see pic). It barely lets out water and is on red.The place is filthy. I made the mistake of walking in my room in white socks, and they were black after half an hour. I think they just clean the bathrooms and call it a day.I didnt get a towel or blanket upon check in and they were being washed so I was told to wait an hour and kept going back to the front desk every hour, but no one was there. After 4 hours I decided to stay at the front desk until someone came bc there was a line of 5 people needing to check in. I wasted half a day in NYC waiting for a towel. The WORST thing about this place by far is the mattresses. Ive never had more painful sleep in my life. After a red eye and full day of walking, their beds were like torture. I so would have rather taken a 5 minute train ride to the HI hostel, which is the same price.

2022-07-10Theyre thieves. When I arrived at the hostel, my booking was missing. And I booked at prices that include TAXES, so thats why my booking was non-refundablething (because of the TAXES). But Staff charged me WITH TAXES and paid a total of approximately $ 70 more. I was very angry, unpleasant, and I dont know How long should I wait. Its been already two weeks ago and I claimed the third time but they never answered. I hope Ill get a refund quickly. Please dont come here. You cant use a hair dryer here, and you have to buy a towel. But if you tell the cleaner, they give it to you for free (so weird). It was so uncomfortable. I made a reservation using hostel dot com, but I cant get a refund even though it wasnt my fault. They even stole more money. Im going to file a lawsuit.

2022-05-19I arrived at midnight and was greeted by uninterested and unwelcoming staff. The bathroom had no soap or hand tissue. The receptionist said they didnt have any and would get them in the morning. The toilet paper was also almost finished and overall bathrooms were really dirty. The top bunks have no power outlets and you have to use the bottom bunks outlet which can get difficult if someone is already asleep. The only thing going for this place is the location but I would not recommend anyone stay here.

2022-05-29DON’T STAY HERE.I’m trying to save as many guests as possible.Never experienced such unfriendly service. The story:Since I knew I would arrive very late (after midnight) I asked beforehand if the reception would be open. They assured me that they have a 24/7 reception and I should not worry. So, I arrived late and there was no one - FOR HOURS. I get, that you might go to toilet or whatever (her excuse was laundry - in the middle of the night, sure). There isn’t even a chair or something to relax or to wait. I also tried to call them with their phone (mine just got stolen) and the phone was dead… decoration really. Then she came AND YELLED AT ME. Ufff.. wow.She then checked me in. The bed was already occupied by another person, I just took another one. I also asked her to wake me up (again no phone), she said yes, she never did. Also: washingroom smelled of urine, no comfy common area, kitchen was kinda demolished (maybe renovation, idk). All in all a desaster. DON’T STAY THERE. It might be “cheap”, it might be at a great location, but it’s not worth it.

2022-03-29Normal hostel, the bed and the shower was bad. The rest, average. Only recommend if you are going to stay a few days, no more than 3 or 4.
