Update: still love the food and there’s no beating the quality/price balance but the delivery schedule has gotten out of control. When I first joined a year ago I’d get my meals by 7:30 am... now it’s 9:35 and I’m still waiting. I would have appreciated a heads up in the change on schedule so I could decide if it works for me or not.It does exactly what is advertised. You can tell they’re not improvising: Food is healthy, no complaints on the flavor department, perfect portions and delivery is always, always on point. It’s also far less expensive than ordering around while trying to eat healthy.
First.Extremely unprofessional If I can put negative stars I would. If you prepaid for food and specifically state YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO FISH AND GET SENT FISH, you are basically not completing a paid order and owe said meals.Secondly.They claim to be a door to door delivery service and they are not. You have to adhere to how the Delivery man decides to deliver your food on that day. For example:Monday morning since he has to collect payment he came right to the door. (And he stole my change)Tuesday morning driver was acting worried about getting a ticket from a invisible Traffic officer and made me come to my courtyard.Wednesday morning same act now driver did not leave his car until i walked halfway to him. Also received fish and notified GreenLifeThursday morning made me get closer to his vehicle basically to the curb.Today Friday morning I received a call from the driver stating that i have to meet him at his vehicle because it is raining!!! Again received fish.I called GreenLife to address these concerns and I was immediately meet with instant denial “We have never had these issues before” was the response to my quarrel.My whole thing is if you claim to be a door to door service fulfill that claim, and if you’re a food prep service you have to pay attention to food allergies that is all. The food was great and I really liked it but the service is appalling unfortunately.
JC green life is very understanding and very nice people. They hear you out if you are allergic to any foods or have another preferences and take it into consideration. They are worth it. I have been doing their meal plan for three weeks and will keep ordering from them !!!
Green Life NYC food service is really good. The food is great and personally, the customer service I’ve received has been second to none. I’ve specifically been provided special hands on customer service from a representative by the name of Einym. She/he has gone above and beyond to service me and keep me happy. My food allergy concerns are always taken into consideration and also my food preferences. Whenever there’s an issue with my food or the time it takes to be delivered, Einym has always prioritized my concerns and has provided me the most exceptional customer service I have ever received in my lifetime. Because of this amazing customer service alone, is the main reason why I have continued my meal plans with green life nyc. I can directly get in contact with Einym and Einym responds to me in a timely fashion and is always courteous, respectful, empathetic and professional. I am not sure if Einym’s superiors understand how much of an asset he/she is but I can assure you, I value Einym’s service and can’t imagine dealing with anyone else. Einym should be considered for a promotion as I feel she has made an extreme impact on the company through individual effectiveness. Kudos to Einym. I thank Einym for all he/she has done for me and I look forward to continue doing business with this professional!
This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a decent lunch, this restaurant comes straight to my head. good and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff, and pleasant mood. In addition to that, the tariff is reasonable. I suggest this place with no hesitation.
I am extremely disappointed with this place, I ordered since last week and was expecting my food to be delivered today only to find out that they have sent an email TODAY at midnight saying that my order was rejected because they dont deliver to my area. i am always trying to eat clean and that is why i wanted to order from this place, so i did not made my meal prep for this week just to find out that they would tell me this at the very last minute. What is worse is when I called them today at 9:00.a.m. to know why they canceled my order they did even treated me as a customer or tried to understand my frustration, it was like if they dont care about their customers, not even for courtesy . This is totally unprofessional I wouldnt recommend anyone to have such a awful customer service experience.
I tried they service for a week , I dint think I was going to lose weight when I saw that the food was delicious and it dint tasted like normally diet food will (flavorless), but I was shocked when I weight myself and I lost 3 pounds in just 4 days without working out, just eating the food. It feel so good not to worry about cooking and buying groceries on the weekends and still be able to complete my goal. The food is delicious, the driver that brings the food is so nice, Ill give a 10 stars if I could, definitely will continue buying.

I’ve been calling and texting this place and no response . No ones returns your call , you have to go in person . And if you schedule your food for them to deliver it at 740 am forget it , lucky you if you get that service ASAP!! This is my first week and last . Bad service!!!
I highly recommend this meal prep company to everyone that is serious about losing weight, eating healthy, and trying to get in the best shape of their life. GREAT SERVICE! It has been nearly three and a half months since I began ordering my meals from Green Life. At the time, I knew I needed to make some changes in my lifestyle. I was nearly 220 pounds, an all-time high for me. Furthermore, my mother was diagnosed with diabetes — a disease that almost every family member of mine has battled. The news prompted me to get a physical done. It was during this physical I was notified of having an elevated a1c, in the pre-diabetic range.Shortly after being told this, I took charge of wanting — and needing — a healthier lifestyle. Since joining, I have lost nearly 30 pounds and have lowered my a1c levels.The MealsVery tasty and fresh. The basic plan includes three main course meals, along with two small snacks. The meals also come with a nutrition label that is extremely helpful for me, as I track my meals in the myfitnesspal app and share the insight with my dietitian on a bi-weekly schedule. Whenever I have a question regarding my order, the owners are quick to respond and maintain open communication. While I am not at my ideal weight and health, I know I am on the right path. For anyone looking to live a healthier life, dont think twice about trying this fantastic company! You wont regret it!

This is not healthy, fresh food. It tastes processed. Tuna tasted like it came from a can, and it most likely did. Snacks include a stick of cheese each day, where is the nutritional value in that? Very disappointed. Never again. If you want clean and truly healthy food, save your hard earned money.
Breakfast is served between the hours of 7am-10:30 but in Green Life its served from 11am-12pm meaning you wont eat your lunch untill 5-6pm which is actually dinner time so now you have this extra dinner meal sitting there because it doesnt fit in the schedule of your meals. According to them they have Late deliveries which makes it okay for you to eat breakfast at noon. NEVER AGAIN!
Paid two weeks at once to find out that they dont deliver to my work address and would deliver at my house in the bronx later than 8am. What time do you usually think ppl work?If you are not delivering to midtown Manhattan it should be mention on your website the exact area you do not deliver to and you should change your name since you really arent greenlifenyc.IN ALL REALITY YOU DONT SERVE NYC. You only serve PART of nyc.
Very bad experience, I tried it for 1 month but stop ordering it since on several occasions they brought me the fried egg cold it seemed like a lie the egg, that is not fresh food it is cold food to reheat .... a meal cannot be fresh when you prepare it the day before to deliver it cold and you have to heat it ... very bad experience ...

2022-06-13I have been doing meal plans for over 3 years. I changed company due to my last one closing down and decided to order from Green Life NYC. From the first day my experience has really been a bad one. They are so unorganized with my orders, with sending me fish when I clearly stated My allergies for seafood, to delivering one to two hours after my requested time leaving food in my porch for over 8 hours I had to throw out my food the whole week. Every day I had to call the office call the driver making complaints. I even asked to speak to a manager and they told me they couldn’t give me that information. I wouldn’t recommend this meal plan company I did it for 3 weeks and today I’m waiting almost 2 hours again for delivery

2021-12-19Delivered fresh each morning. I have been impressed with the flavors and variety. Einym is responsive via text and even though they have the menu planned out, they swapped out an item I don’t like when I asked them to without any issue. I have already recommended this meal delivery service to many friends. It’s very reasonably priced and is satisfying while helping with portion control for healthy mindful eating!

2021-07-22I love the food from greenlife, but this location it’s just not it, the girls that work there are usually pretty rude, they don’t greet you when you arrive nor smile at you , they do not make you feel welcomed, at least that’s how I felt, ordere usually take longer than usual , I’ve found hair in my food , and some of the smoothies were hot or not enough sugar , I always order shrimps from them but their shrimps seems to be dirty they do not clean the shrimps pretty well. Overall the food is okay but they need to change the people who work there, they always have an attitude

2020-08-27Food is really good and the size is fair (5/5).!!!However, they need to improve their customer’s service. Communicating through text messages and replying every 20 minutes is very unprofessional. Delivery time can be an issue as well. Maybe giving us the option to get deliveries 2-3 times a week would make it easier for everyone. Again food is great and the business have a lot of potential!

2021-11-13The food is great, but not the best customer service. You’ll be lucky if you’re able to get some one on the phone. With so many professional food services out there, stay away from this one. They should work on the delivery as well. I had a hard time with the delivery guy, everyday!!!!

2021-04-30The food is not all that and they are EXTREMELY unprofessional when it comes to delivering food and answering calls or text. Definitely not worth it especially that they want to bring you the food as early as 8am and they make you go outside to get it. Not only that if you missed their call they wont get back at you till hours later then when they finally want to reach out they told me I had to go pick up myself when I do not live near them ! I was so disappointed because I have a baby and I live far from them mind you I prepaid the food. I asked for a refund for that day which is 21$ and they refused and stated that they have a route to follow, basically blaming me instead of accommodating something for their paying customers. They really do not care unless you are ig famous or a celebrity. Definitely will be spreading the word to tell ppl to spend their money elsewhere were they will get good customer service. Disgusting do better and hire nicer drivers and treat people with respect if you guys want to make more customers.

2021-02-271st time attempting order I was told to wait 30 minutes for them to START preparing my food. I walked out. Decided to give em a second chance this time they had thirty minutes left before closing and they decided to tell me that they cannot take my order. I slick feel discriminated against from my own people 🤦🏽♂️

2021-07-13Went in the morning to possibly get a smoothie to start my morning. I enter the establishment and waited 10 minutes to place my order. I was the only one in the shop and even when the guy looked my way he continued to ignore. I guess this place isnt big on making money smh thats the first and last time Ill go there. Rude first experience
