Horrible size chart IS WAY OFF . Went to Platos closet and got a pair of pants $8.00. The size was the same size and THE JCPennys didnt button. I called ahead and manager said they would return shipping....not a chance I get there this managers like no way. So Ill Never SHOP AT JCPENNYS EVER AGAIN!
Wow!!! Outstanding selection. Especially mens jackets. Shoes and sneakers too. Insane discounts! I saved 90.00 on a jacket! Nice layout. Clean. Great location. My only knock would be lack of electronics; TVs, phones etc. I think it would help them more. Love Pennys. No issues with parking. Friendly service.
It was very pleasant. I love shopping at JC Penny for many reasons . first... customer service, second easy to find what ever your heart desires, 3rd. prices, 4th the clearness of the store...everything is very organized.Plus you do see the manger on the floor greeting everyone....that you dont see in most retail stores. I been a customer at JC Penny for 15 years now.
Store is running on a skeleton crew. Literally two people cashing out in entire store. Inventory seems to be kept at a minimum level. Store seems dingy and like a dungeon all of a sudden and almost looks like an empty dank warehouse. If this store lasts even another year I would be surprised.
Its not a store we shop at regularly and is not really a place we often find what we need. But thats just matter of taste. Last time we went, we were greeted warmly by three different workers and all seemed genuinely interested in making the experience easy and pleasant. We ended up getting something with our gift cards and are very pleased with the purchase. Even though we dont include this as a place we visit regularly, we would still recommend it to someone based on our experience.
JCPenney still a great place to get jeans! All kinds of jeans! Im not a jean fan but they had a bunch of them from so many companies! Clearance sale right now! Find some good stuff for very little money! Wasnt crowded at all. 👍🏻😀 Some of the help is useless! Thats to be expected from young kids today. Always on their smart phones! Look up once in a while. Youre missing out on life!
Went to the JCPenney Salon at the Boulevard Mall as a last minute, technically walk-in appointment. Stylist Bianca took me back to the sinks and immediately start doing my hair. It was a great experience, Bianca did an awesome job and Ive got an appointment booked for next week with her! Professionalism, Amazing Customer Service, and a High-Quality Hairstyle. If you ever decide to go to the JCPenney Salon, make sure you go to the one in the Boulevard Mall and not the Walden Galleria.
The store has a dedicated order pick up/return counter, yet they only have 2 registers and the clerk has to go to a different area of the store to retrieve the merchandise. I think if they are going to offer in store pickup and return, the process needs to be more efficient.
I tried to call to see if an item was available in the store. Does anybody even work there? I tried all departments several times. After 20 minutes, I finally reached someone in jewelry. I asked her if snow pants were in stock. She actually went to look. She said it happens all the time. The store is lucky to have employees in the jewelry department willing to help in other areas. Too bad customer service is terrible throughout the rest of the store.

I bought a mattress here it was a really good deal but it took way longer then expected to get the delivery, mostly due to either my email being entered incorrectly or my phone number, resulting in the delivery company being unable to set up a date, eventually it was resolved and delivery company did a good job. Honestly mattress shopping sucks and the mattress industry is big scam. but Jcpenneys had a legitimately good deal on a hybrid memory foam coil mattress and I am glad I bought in a physical store rather then online which may be a complete crapshoot. So despite the mix up with the mattress the experience was overall fine.
They have made SEVERAL mistakes on our order that we placed in APRIL. They cancelled an order for our mattress without telling us Then, they sent us the wrong couch. So we ordered a replacement couch. After 10 weeks, they finally called and said the couch was ready for delivery. First, they tried to delivery it to the wrong address even though the original couch was delivered to correct address. Then today they tried to deliver it. Again, it was the wrong couch!!! The costumer service process is terrible. Every time you call, you have to speak to a new rep and explain the situation over and over again. They have no way to track the order with the furniture company and werent even able to tell me what was ordered. They couldnt figure out which color the couch was or whether it was a sleeper sofa. I am so disappointed in them. I wont be shopping at JCPenney again for anything.
They can be and do way better, getting assistance is hard and employees dont really know to much looking at you as if you worked there and knew the answers. if you miss place a receipt and try to return for a different size or get a refund they will only refund you back a fourth of what you paid if your lucky.
Poor customer service, no associates at the registers, finally found someone to cash out after 20 minutes of searching( no customer should have to do that). When we did find someone got a major attitude because we interrupted their conversation! So no STARS for you even though I had to put one.
Waited 25 min for a manager at the checkout for an instock item to find out that they didnt have it in store or online. The manager said that even though it says instock online it doesnt update until 2-3 days. Well thank you so much. Drove an hour to stand at the register and leave empty handed. Penneys fails me again. Get your online stuff together!!!
Terrible! Ordered item on December 5th with 4-7day shipping. December 24th STILL no item. Called what they laughingly call customer service and after 20minutes on hold, informed I could not cancel. Had to cancel at the store. GOOD LUCK FINDING AN ASSOCIATE TO HELP. Theyre non-existent. Will never shop there online again.
Over booked. Had us waiting over a hour for a 15 minute session. Then we had to wait to view and select our pictures. I had my 4 month old with me and they didnt have a proper lactation room. I had to nurse him in a cluttered storage room. And the man running the place NATE was so rude and impatient and just a mess. However my pictures turned out good. And the photographer was really sweet.
I know its Covid-19 but jcp does not have to be so dirty and dusty I have mild allergies and i sneezed the majority of the time we were there on top of that they had a wonderful sale I had gotten a pair of shoes for 10.00 original price was 90.00 they were for my daughters wedding I put them on walked in the wedding not 10 minutes later I was tilting over because my shoe broke smh
No staff. No one to ask where the womens department is. Couldnt find anyone to ask where the washroom was. Staff seems uninterested when you could find. them. Check out took soo long (store not busy at all) after 10 minutes, I put down merchandise (that I really liked) and left. Too bad.I guess their business will be going down. People like reasonable service.
I understand that somehow in America the land of the free that we now have restored to pictures instead of the ENGLISH LANGUAGE. But when theres a sign that states Restrooms and theres only a mens room.....come on. Have the decency to show a man and then another sign with a woman for the Ladies room that is across the store!
The store seems overly crowded with racks of clothes that are difficult to look through. It doesnt seem that the staff take the time to clean up the messes from the inconsiderate shoppers. I also purchased my wedding bands and my husbands wedding band in their jewlery department in october of 2018 and had issues with them immediately. My husbands ring falls right off his finger and cant be worn. I cant wear my engagement ring as the prongs get caught on everything and have begun to loosen. I dont want to lose any diamonds so it sits in a box. We plan to return to their jewlery department to request changes for our rings as we also purchased insurance on them.
Please, save yourself extreme aggravation and drive to Boulevard Mall if you have a question for a particular department. Using the automated phone “service” is frustrating with garbled speech and mushy sound quality. Using the printed business card which shows the department and extension without success has been an unhappy experience. I’m attempting to complete an order of cellular shades for 9 windows in my home. The materials have been chosen in store. The measurements have been officially taken and recorded on April 29th, this past Monday. I must drive to Boulevard Mall tomorrow to accomplish this simple deed! So just go to the bricks and mortar establishment for your answers and make some other purchases while you’re there. Five Stars for Peter in the window treatment for his attentive attitude, expert guidance and reassuring style; One Star for automated phone service!
CHECK ALL YOUR CLOTHING ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE . I made my first mistake not and got home 45mins from a jcpennys and come to find out i had a ink tag on a hoodie? Alarm never went off walking out after paying . Had to go all the way out of my way to get it removed then few months later i watched the later removed some and she says she double checked . Got home ready to wrap the clothes as a gift and 8pm at night had to rush back to jcpenney before they closed at 9pm to get it removed , another 45 min drive . I spend thousands of dollars at this store yearly and im so disappointed is one not removing the ink tag and the alarms not going off . Thats not good . Ontop of the employee seeming annoyed with me because i came at 854pm
Im in sad to see this place go when the mall closes I used to buy all my clothing at Macys mens store buffet closed now I finally appreciate JCPenneys and now theyre going out of business what the hell. I hate buying clothing online you can try it on we need to save our malls or recreate them.
Went to JCPenney to return some stuff and I got my receipt and I didnt get back my id card I totally forgot about it also I go back the next day to let them know I forgot it and they where of absolutely no help all they said was if something like that happens we put it away.. so am here like okay just walk off absolutely no concerns nothing bad customer service no help and I know I didnt get back my id because i have my receipt she gave me that went right in my wallet...
We have been a regular customer of jcp for many years. This lady named Karen (indian dark hair and wears glasses) in the security at the boulevard mall buffalo NY had harassed my aunt and mother who were shopping casually. When they confronted karen she acted as if she had not done anything. I already took this matter to corporate and hopefully this lady gets fired if this is how she makes customers feel threatened just shopping and if they confront her and get no reasonable response back is really sickening. Security employees have proof behind their actions if taken which this lady karen panicked herself when they confronted her because we didnt do anything to be scared of. I really hope she gets fired and please dont hire just anyone who lacks in learning the rules of being in the security for a retail store.
To begin with, this is a review concerning only the Salon. Firstly, I am not one to go to the fairly expensive salons, but after I saw what a great job my friends Master stylist had done at Eastern Hill Mall I decided to give it a try. I got my hair done here instead by another Master stylist because my friends was not available at the time and I needed it done. Now, Id advise you to only get the cut, no blow dry and style. The woman who did my hair said she was a Master stylist and would give me a wonderful hairstyle. I felt very excited to finally have my hair done by someone I thought would have done a great job. I brought her a picture, and explained thoroughly that I did not want my hair texturized or thinned down. After the hair cut was done, it looked nice when it was wet, however when she proceeded to finish the hair she texturized it and now my hair has become ridiculously thin and she cut the front too short. Added to that, when she styled my hair, the finished product looked at though someone glued down the hair to my head and doused me with hairspray. I was utterly disappointed. And all she did was put some gel in my head, blow dry my hair and used her flat iron for a couple minutes to make my hair flat on my head. It is supposed to have body and a little flip like in the photo. My friends hairstyle was very picturesque and she only paid $25.00 after a coupon. For terrible job, the price went from $32.00 to $42.00; for doing a terrible styling job, pretty much little to nothing. I am pretty sure that if I asked her, would you go out with your hair like this?, she would have remained quiet and shocked.So save yourself the trouble and go to the Salon at Eastern Hills Mall where the true Master stylists are, or even Supercuts for a better hair style.
Terrible ,racks and racks of 80 %off but so unorganized that I left.The n I found sneakers, which I always get at Penneys, I cash out and I got charged a nickel for the bag.This is a travesty,I remember free boxes and gift wrapping.Not suggesting that,but do you really have to charge for the bag?
Still Like the Boulevard Mall better than Galleria Mall ! Even though It SEEMS that the NEWEST OWNERS are TRYING to FORCE OUT the BUSINESSES with SKY-HIGH rent and BULLDOZE the Mall for Office bldgs.OR Doctor offices ,WHO knows ANOTHER UNWANTED HOTEL ??? But JCP is GREAT THERE also !
JcPenny is nothing but FRAUD, SCAM & must be sued... they put ads online for Black Friday where they had put $1235.00 worth of Ring for $10.00 which I purchased and they processed the Transaction but after 4 days they cancelled the Order... this is corruption and JcPenny must either send me my order or I will go to any length to get my Rightful Order... People avoid shopping at JcPenny, they are never honest and are nothing but ROBBERS & THIEVES... I am going Public about their Fraudulent Deals... they have committed BREACH OF TRUST... FRAUD & an Extremely Unprofessional Staff.......... I would never buy nothing from these Robbers............ JcPenny! I am going to write everywhere against your Robberies and Ripping Off People
I was in s a jam for military shoes no one could help me out,I was shining my shoes and discovered my shoes were cracked and I needed a pair of shoes for my uniform, I was in the eire county fair , and no one was around to assist me, it took me over a hour to find a pair of shoes of that caliber, I have gotten the same shoes there before so i ended somewhere else and lost out on my rewards for shopping there, i do believe at this time i will not go back to the store.
Terrible their system is hacked Wi-Fi doesnt work couldnt fix my credit card I had credit on it that I couldnt use so I actually had to spend money out of my pocket whats the use very disappointed but I can say that the people there who were working tried diligently to help me
Dont like the clothes hated the Gown that I bought hated the shoes that I bought and not happy with the people that work there maybe it was just a bad day but I dont like sporty looking clothes for a woman women should look feminine far as Im concerned its over priced and you could go to the Salvation Army to get the same kind of clothes for a 16th of what it cost at Penneys no I will not go back there

2022-02-12Stores like this are the reason malls are slowly dying. The place is an absolute mess, there are Clothes thrown all over the floor. I waited at the register to try to cash out for about 3 minutes until I had to go looking for an employee to help and when I finally found one (took about 6 minutes to track someone down) she told me its not her department so Ill have to find someone else didnt even page anyone to come help, she just walked away and left me to fend for myself. I ended up just leaving the single item I wanted to buy at the register and leaving. Terrible store with even worse employees, cant wait to see them go out of business.

2021-11-21At this location the staff are attentive/knowledgeable and offered assistance when needed. Covid regulations are followed here, be courteous and do the same. Great sales going on, get those deals while you can. The store was clean and organized.

2018-10-28This place has the best discounts and the best prices. I got a dress for $4 which was originally prices at $34. I have gotten a lot of other clothes too at a much discounted price, especially on Thanksgiving. I got a lot of sweaters for $5. I got the grey Arizona dress for $4.

2021-12-18I was treated very poorly cashier wouldnt even look me in the eye called the couple behind me trying everything not to wait on me. Wouldnt even cash out my current order. Disgraceful! Disgusting and very disturbed. Never shop here if you want decent service!
