I have bought food at this place several times and referred others until today. I didnt know this place was full of anti-maskers. No one wears a mask preparing food. The guy behind the counter kept saying he could not hear my order and yelled for me to take my mask off. I repeated louder and he said I was yelling which I did because he said he couldnt hear. He disrespected me as others just watched. I was with my daughter and grandson. I will never return.
Great sandwiches, always a half dozen interesting specials. Ciabatta bread is especially good!
This place has gone down since I last ate here. Prices have gone up and have gone down. My wrap barely contained any chicken salad and staff seemed bothered that I asked for things. This was my $11 wrap
Have not Have the opportunity to stop in for many years. I recently was able to! Chicken salad on Rye & a side of potato salad.. So extremely satisfying! Thank You! My weekly go too now❤
Even after the change in owners (miss you Jeff C. !), this is still my go to deli. Friendly staff and eager to please. Excellent hot roast beef and corned beef sandwiches.

I have been coming here for 20 years, ever since I started my first job after college. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. My favorite is the roast beef, which is always consistently roasted perfectly. The soups are always delicious too. If you are looking for a NYC style deli, this is a must stop.

Sandwich was delish Hot Pastrami, could nt resist the stuffed to order cannolis. The people were so nice and helpful. Definitely coming back

Bacon egg and cheese leaves a lot to be desired. Microwaved Oscar Mayer style bacon used (maybe 2 slices?), one egg, cheese and roll were just alright. Staff was nice enough.2 star for food quality, would not recommend.3-4 star for staff.

I can’t believe the last time I was in this area I got McDonalds....totally forgot how awesome their hot roast beef sandwich is! The pastrami looks pretty good too...a reason to go back again. Friendly and efficient service add to the great experience.
JCs (formerly Maurices) Deli is a great place for any kind of deli sandwich you could want. Their roast beef is the best and the pastrami, turkey, soups, and sides are great as well. Plus, their service is FAST and dont forget to get your stamp card to earn a free lunch.

Sandwiches are amazing. I got the Rachel and we also tried the roast beef. The pickles are not to be missed. Good breakfast sandwich too.
1st time ever going today. Ordered to go over the phone. Ordered an Italian mix w/ roasted red peppers (they charge extra) and no onion. Cost me $9.65 and I got no roasted red peppers. I gave a 2 Star because the sandwich was ready when I got there. I won’t be going back. I don’t know how people can’t make correct orders these days.

You make good sandwiches but no where on your website does it mention that you stop serving breakfast at 11.
The food Is great. The atmosphere is great! The staff was super friendly which I really liked. If your an albany student used to downtown pricing this will be a little more expensive than that.

Ordered a hot pastrami on rye. Meat was Luke warm at best and had no flavor. Mustard very bland what little was on the bread.

2022-06-21Great place. Good bacon egg and cheese. Not usually crowded which is suprising given the bacon. I judge these delis by the bacon and the bacon here is pretty good. On the crispy side but not burned. The potato salad also pretty good. Good short order chef.

2021-10-01One of my favorite places to eat lunch. The soups are homemade and incredible. Always yummy!! Their specials are always creative and tasty. Nothing standard about either. The staff is the friendliest around. I cant suggest it enough. If you go get a soup or try one of the specials. You cant go wrong.
