I am still shocked of this awful experience:In this store some shoes are kind of nice, some j11, j6 that are not this bad but not numerous and a lot of very expensive itemsHowever, its not the worst problemIndeed, the cashiers are horrendously obnoxiousFor instance, at the time of payment, when asking them to fold some clothes, they looked at us in a surly way before sighing and making it unproperlyThey then asked us to give money to a foundation (we didnt even know who this money would go to)When we kindly refused for evident reasons,they asked for one dollar, which we refused too, they then put pressure on him, insisting several times and talking to each othe, assumingly mocking usAfter continuing a few times asking the same thing with a disdainful look, before loud enough for us to hear it, saying: it sucksShocked, my 15 years old french friend(credit cards machines are not the same in france) tried to put his card in the machine, but didnt put it in the right wayThe cashier sighed hatefully and mockfully before helping us, still with the same face expression, in an even more emphasized wayA few minutes later, I told some friends who went in the same shop about it, and they testified they had a similar yet less unpleasant experience with other cashiersNevertheless, the other workers were pretty nice, eventhough they dont even know the model of their own shoes so dont expect from them to know anything about the ones youll buy.
Was refused service because I entered the store with a reusable bag from a different store. Clear profiling, discrimination and harassment from their manager, Nick. Other employees were willing until he stopped them. Will be reporting this to the city and I encourage others to do the same if they’ve been targeted and harassed in the same manner.
The service in this store is abysmal. There is no understanding of customer service. We had to wait 20mins to find out a sneeker was not available. They need to sort out their stock availability. Luckily Foot Locker is next door. Dont waste your time here go straight to Foot Locker
I will never shop in this store again, I went to buy sneakers I had to try it on first off the staff are rude it took forever to get the sneaker, anyway they didn’t have the color I wanted and said they will order it online for me they took my info charge me and I never received a email when I called customer service they said they see the charge but no order number…. Don’t shop here the service is horrible the staff don’t know what they doing
Terrible experiences at this place. Won a guaranteed pickup for a sneaker and waited on line at the pickup counter as stated in the email. When I finally get there they tell me that it’s only for kids sizes and to wait on the line that goes around the corner outside of the store. So I wait three hours before I can’t hold it anymore. I go to a restroom across the street and when I get back I’m forced to go to the back of the line which is now longer than when I started waiting on it. Having to wait seven plus hours for a pair of sneakers (that were a guaranteed win according to them) is not worth the knee pains. In the end I didn’t even get the sneakers because JD sports has no idea what they’re doing. There’s two entrances and nobody said to wait on a line that has over a thousand people on it. I was told to go to the pickup counter and wait in line. The pickup counter is on the second floor according to the signage at the entrance. So because of their negligence in communicating where to go, I wasted 9 hours and my hard earned cash traveling to a store that can’t produce what they promise. What a joke of a business!!
Staff were not at all helpful here, requested a pair of trainers to try on and it took over 15 mins for them to appear. While we were waiting no one apologised for the delay and the lady that was serving us then disappeared upstairs just as the box appeared from the stock room. By then, it was too late and we left. The remaining staff who were all stood together, laughing and on their phones didn’t ask us if we needed help once. Not sure why so many staff were needed in a quiet shop when they didn’t want to help customers anyway!
Worst experience I’ve ever had in a sneaker store.Wanted to return a pair of sneakers for not feeling comfortable after worn them one time and the supervisor told me that that’s not possible even for exchange.the sneakers are perfectly fine,no scratches or damaged at all,they just don’t want to return/exchange.Just lost a costumer.
One of the salesman young guy with curly hair skin very cool. He was very professional and patient while helping me. I have flat feet and was having a hard time finding comfortable sneakers. So I got a pair of black and lime green Jordan sixes. Always have a great experience at this location in times square good people rock always in there .
Unfriendly Staff! I got kicked for having a Nike bag, apparently I can’t buy sneakers from other locations then shop in there store. I don’t understand the logic at all. When you walk into a store you are supposed to be greeted not antagonized. I might as well shop at footlocker, lol!
Made an order online to pick up in store. Called them a few hours later because I did not receive an email. They kept hanging up on me and then finally claimed that their computers and website are broken. I asked them to verify that they had the shoe there in store so I can just come down and buy it. Sales lady says it will be another minute, I have to check with stock downstairs. I respond, no problem. SHE HANGS UP AGAIN!Finally found out that they dont have the shoe in the store. Why allow me to place an order for pick up, if the store doesnt have it - is BEYOND ME.Icing on the cake, they couldnt even cancel my order because it wasnt showing up in their system. Told me to call again tomorrow to cancel.The rudest customer service reps I have ever spoken to in my entire life.STAY FAR AWAY!
There was atrocious customer service. None of the representatives checked on you to make sure you were taken care of. The cashiers were very unprofessional and actually bagged the wrong shoes for me. Not to mention, she could only give me a gift receipt because her printer ran out of paper mid transaction. I would not suggest anyone to come here to the physical store. Order your shoes online and have minimum contact with the deplorable service.
The store itself is pretty cool. The place is just mismanaged. It took 30 minutes for me to get the shoe I requested and the manager (Jon?) was very rude to me when I asked why my size was taking so long. I left without buying anything as a result. Get rid of that guy, and I’ll shop here again.
Great multi brand store, i found all the trendy sneaker models,, adidas, Nike, ASICS, a good prices but the best part was the service, the lady that supported me had a lot of patience after trying at least 6 pair of shoes, ended up buying 3 pairs due to her service. Well done!,
So I lucked up and found this spot. Just walking around in New York. But Im glad I did. They have a very nice selection of shoes there. I was impressed. But I wouldnt expect anyhing less from New York. Now the store is big. And there are plenty of workers which is good. But you have to get their attention for help. And the store was packed when I went. So kind of hot in there. So if you in tienes square area and you a sneaker head I would check out DJs. They have nice selections.
Won a raffle for a reservation. The call and ticket said the shoes were on hold until 3pm. Showed up at 9 am there was no directions at all so I waited in line. At 11:30 am someone came out and said the shoes were sold out after they left I told another employee that I won the raffle and I had the reservation he said it was over at 11 and there were no more left. Wasted my time and straight up lied about how much time I had to get them. I called up the store to try and speak to someone since there was no other employees outside and they wouldn’t answer.
Rude employees and rude managers. Should have listened to the other reviews. Bought a hat for my friends birthday, tried it on once to make sure it fit. Found something else and got that for him so I decided to return the hat. The manager refused to return the hat even though the receipt showed I bought it days prior and it had all the tags on it. Definitely wont shop here again or on their website anymore.
I was rudely escorted by security after i had recently shopped for a pair of socks, security also took a picture of my private information which contained (Government Name, Address, Phone number) on his personal phone while I was signing up for a raffle. I asked Jovon the security who took the picture on why he did such and I was left with no answers at all, Ross one of the managers stepped in but also didn’t give me any answers on why the photo was taken. Nothing got resolved and the person still has my personal info on his device. No where in the store policy’s says security is able to see or take pictures of your personal information. I’ve shopped and signed up for raffles at other franchises like Footlocker, Champs Footaction and to say the least ladies and gentlemen I’ve never encountered any such.
The short: disorganized with rude employees.The long: I won a raffle for several Jordan’s throughout opening week, I could only pick up 1 because the others I had to be there between 8:00am - 11:00am kind of hard when you’re a teacher. I finally went this past Sunday. Despite my window being the 3 hours mentioned above, I had to wait outside for 30 minutes while they figured things out. The employees were rude and standoffish, not evening taking the time to understand the questions I had about my status rewards. On top of that they would not let me use a reward on my purchase because it was a “raffle” although they could not indicate where it said that in the T&C’s.Conclusion: I will not be shopping at this store unless I win a raffle for a hard to find item. Go next door to Foot Locker for a better overall experience.
Made us wait on line for 4 hours while the website says JORDAN 4 bred Blackcats Jordan 3 UNC Jordan 3 Knick were dropping FCFS on 10/18 I go there everyone’s talking about the breds and black cats after 4 hours of standing on a huge line....the guy tells us the Jordan 6 DMP is dropping today. I can buy these for retail anywhere. They told me tomorrow another shoe is dropping didn’t tell me what sneaker told me to look at the website but there is nothing on the website expect it says 10/18 FCFS Jordan 4 bred black cats 3Uncs etc. Waste of 4 hours to buy nothing
When ever they have restocks managers only let their friends get left overs they do it at certain time sneaky . There would be a line outside form nicely and say nothing is in store as soon as everyone leaves and certain people stay there they let them go is always the same kids getting everything back door come on footlocker let’s do this fair
This store is definitely working with resellers getting paid on the side from the sneaker resellers every sneaker release date they do the same exact thing which is they say Raffles only but when Raffle winners get there they never have the sneakers in stock and the only time I did get a pair of sneakers from the store when I went to purchase them one of the employees looked at me and said youre only buying one and shook his head smh its sad how this store does its customers
My little brother went to sign up for a raffle and the security guard kept watching him and speaking among other workers and took a picture of my brothers personal information, he then said it was store policy i dont know how that makes sense because i myself work in a retail sneaker store and we do not invade in customers privacy this Is very unprofessional And it makes me not want to invest take my money and time in this company .
Clean, well-stocked shop, clear selection of sports shoes, Crocs and sports fashion for everyone, including children. Unfortunately, unnecessarily long waiting times at the checkout and for advice. There is definitely a lack of staff. Uptown New York prices - pack a big wallet!
Really a lot of choice and interesting prices and some great promotions.No need to waste an afternoon looking for stores that sold cheap end-of-series items.In the same area you have 3 super stores:JD, CHAMPS and Footlocker if you cant find your happiness there, its not worth looking elsewhere 😜
A 2-storey store for sporting goods. We sell shoes from the worlds leading shoes, even before we reach the rest of the country.Prices are average.Excellent service people. I personally lost the phone in the store, and they did everything to find it for me and returned it !!!

2022-09-11This store has really bad service. They are disrespectful. We were going to purchase $500 worth of shoes and they had one of the shoes marked wrong and they are not willing to honor it despite 2 associates had already expressed us the price. This is false advertisement. After we expressed our discontent they decided to yell at us. We cannot tolerate disrespect. We are loyal customers and this store has beyond disappointed us.We will not come again.The manager is the one in the picture and I have never seen a worse manager. She is rude. Rolls Her eyes and does not listen to her customers.

2022-05-11@Management: There is a need for an investigation into the customer satisfaction score at the checkout. I wanted to pay and the employee quickly gave herself a positive score before I wanted to pay with my card. When I asked what she was doing she said she would do it for me because it saves HER time. - When I later looked at the receipt I saw that she had given herself a (very) positive score. This is really brutal and ridiculous. Its a beautiful store, but the staff (especially the lady behind the counter) could use some training. Disappointing. (Happened on may 6th 13:23)

2022-07-24Besides the air being broke and the temperature of the store being 79 degrees, JUAN the Capricorn with the curly hair was the best sale associate I have ever experienced in a retail store! Omg, we went for the Keila G adidas art project exhibit, our very first trip ever to NYC! And juan made the experience so impactful! Very patient and knowledgeable. He super crafty and nice! He embroidered some adidas socks for me, his very first time doing socks, very confident yet detailed in his work! He killed it. We were in his work space roughly 2 hours, getting some adidas items customized, worth every second of it. A Nyc trip I’ll always remember. Shout out to him!From miami with love!

2022-08-27Went in to buy sneakers for my daughter. The store staff never approached us. when We found a shoe she wanted and I tried to find someone to help us I walked to the front and was directed to a counter/cashier in the back where a bunch of sales associates were hanging out. When I went to that counter I was told to go find someone on the floor. I would never go back and I would never reccomend the location in Times Square.

She was so nice and I ask her to hold them while I went and looked around and she did. I did purchase the shoes. I’m from Indiana and she made a great impression for your store

2022-09-05By the time the staff brought my shoes, I found a girlfriend, got a master’s degree, married the gf, got a divorce (she dumped me because of the long wait), won a nobel prize and found the time to write this review. It was a pretty long wait!

2022-07-30Bad service kept me wait for like 30min and I never got to be attended. I asked two people for help but just left me there for awhile. Need better communication skills and sales person.
