Ziff is great! I was a Uber driver and was looking to get out of it but keep my ability to drive since I had racked up a lot of traffic violations. I submitted 3 tickets and he got 2 of them dismissed Vs all my previous lawyers who were always loosing in court.

Great job to Jeff Ziff & Company.I drive a school bus for a living. The officer saw me talking on the company radio, which is not illegal. He pulled me over & said that I was talking on the Phone. I showed him that I was on the radio & not the phone, the bus company was still speaking to me while I was with the officer. The bus company doesn’t allow drivers to use a phone while in the bus. If I was able to leave a 0 star review I would.I paid this business in 2017 to fight a speeding ticket I received. Fast forward to 2021 and it gets taken to court after pushing it back 3 times, and I get a 8 point violation dropped down to 6 points (listen I was young then and knew I was wrong).My issue isnt the results of the ticket. My issue is that on March 9, 2021 I received a email with the results, but was never told to show up to court the day that they were going, or that they were even going, but every time the date was pushed back I received an email. I had already completed a drivers assessment course that they didnt ask about to show the judge, or even ask me for follow up information that could have helped. Then when I call and say I want to file the appeal, the girl who answered said she would email me the process. Never asked for $ and quoted me $300 for the appeal process (That was on March 9, 2021)Fast forward to today over 30 days later I call because I know COVID has screwed everything up, and maybe theyre behind. Now I find you cannot file the appeal after I had to call back since I havent heard anything or received a email that a appeal was filed. I spoke to 2 different girls, and nobody knew what I was talking about and now it is to late to file the appeal. So now instead of being able to possibly knock the points down to 4 with the completed assessment, and actually having me there, this office completely screwed me.The woman manager who is Russian is absolutely useless and nasty. She blamed me and told me that I should have called sooner than today to file for the appeal (which I did), and when I explained that I did she told me well who did you speak to that day? I said there are notes on my file yes or no?Her answer well its to late to do it now and it probably wouldnt have worked anyway...(guess she is a judge all of the sudden?)I recommended this firm to do many people even customers of mine, and never again. They were absolutely wrong for not knowing the process, and not following up after I called and said I wanted to appeal, and then tried to blame me.

Pretty bad. Charged $250 for a service I can do myself. On top of that they didn’t fight my ticket and I had to pay the ticket anyway. Not to mention I never once let with a lawyer.Save yourself 250 or however much they charge now.Step 1- plead not guilty(trial date will be in a year)Step 2- postpone the trial date a day or two before your date. Then waitStep3- postpone it again(+1more year)Step4-postpone again(+1year) But you have to post bond($40 which will go towards the cost of the ticket)Step 5- go to trial and try to fight it but you’ll be guilty anyway so pay the rest of the fine.This was my experience. As a first time speeding ticket customer. Your experience may differ. Just wanted to make everyone aware.

I was stopped two times (with 6 month interval) at the same place by the same two police officers which stated that I was speaking on phone. UPDATE 05/2020By the end of 2019 I decided that it would be easier just to pay for my tickets instead of relying upon this office. If I ever get a ticket again I wont go to them neither any other offices because they are all the same. So I paid off and I dont have any pending tickets on my driver license.UPDATE 07/2019Two weeks ago after 4 years of postponing I was found guilty for one violation in 2015. A week later this attorney postponed another one from 2016. Whats unfair here is that the first one was a police officers mistake when he thought that I had used a cellphone. Im almost sure now what this attorney does is a simple reschedule for each case. He probably doesnt do anything in the court.ORIGINAL REVIEW. I got my ticket in March 2012. By that time I already had 6 points (New York State) therefore I went to this lawyer. The hearing was postponed several times. I already started to lose my hope thinking it would never end up. Until a few days ago (June 2016) when I received a phone call notifying me that my ticket was dismissed in a court and I was found not guilty. It was an awesome job. I will definetely recommend him to my friends who will happen to receive tickets.

I took a red light ticket, I gave it them the ticket to fight it for m , I paid them &200 the kept change the court date , after 3 years , they don’t even call me ,they email me , they said the court find me guilty, I have to pay another $198 just one ticket cost me $398 plus 3 points on my license, don’t do business with them if you like your money. They don’t even deserve one star.

Fake service. All of my 5 tickets I paid them for were found guilty, 5 of 5, 100% did nothing to help despite I paid $300 each case. Save you money, ask someone else or just drive carefully. This office was recommended to me by a friend. I drive often to NYC and I get too many points. My first 4 ticket I was found not guilty and after that the next 5 tickets I was found guilty even though one of them was a Cell phone ticket and my records shows that I didnt make any calls withing the past 45 minutes. So I guess its a 50/50 chance at best. I wont be using their service again.

If you got a traffic ticket in one of the 5 boroughs, do not waste your money with this attorney. You are better of fighting the ticket yourself. In the beginning they make it sound like they will fight and get things fixed for you. Once the hearing happens, nothing will get dropped down and you end up just taking a guilty charge on the original violation. When i asked them why werent they able to get the violation dropped, let alone lessened, they then tell you there is no negotiating in NYC. Had i known that from the beginning, I would have just handled this myself and save the lawyer fees.This was my personal experience with this attorney.
I hired Mr. Ziff and Associates in April of 2016 to fight two speeding tickets that I received in NY. I have been a FL resident since September of 2016 and have spent very minimal time in NY since I was given these tickets. Fast forward over 2.5 years later, I have to end up paying a total of $1,486 for the two tickets (including my lawyer fees). I feel as though more could have been done to assist my case. I feel as though I could have been guided better and that certain alternatives could have been proposed to assist my specific case, especially being that I am not even an NY licensed driver and never have been. I am thoroughly disappointed that after almost 3 years of having my tickets being fought, the bare minimum was done to help my case.

This place is all FRAUD! They are just at the right place in the right time. You might as well fight your own ticket because they just want your money. They postpone the hearing as many times as they can and then barely take care of the problem. I had 4 points on my violation and after waiting 3+ years for this to be handled I was found guilty and now have 3 points on my licence. This place is just making money off of peoples desperation. I would advise to keep walking. And on top of all that they are rude on the phone. They dont care at this point because I payed them 3+ years ago and they dont want to deal with it any more so they settle without thinking you may have other points on your license. Big MISTAKE.
Jeffrey is the best attorney in New York City hands down. I have total of 17 violations from last 4 years and so far he still kept me on road and continue to help me fight my violations, I recommend more than 20 people to Jeffrey and they all still client of Jeffrey just because theyre satisfied. SAVE YOUR MONEY and dont hire these so-called professionals.They did absolutely NOTHING for me except postpone the hearing date further back and further back in hopes of the police officer not showing up to the hearing and winning the case - which unfortunately was Not the case for me.If this is their winning tactic - News flash, you can do that all on your own.I went to court to witness my hearing. In addition to my hearing they were also representing a few more unfortunate souls. After the judge heard the officers side of the story and was ready to hear from the defense (this clown of a lawyer, that we paid money for) she literally said Absolutely Nothing. I was shocked! She basically provided ZERO DEFENSE for their client.On the following case, she actually open her mouth only to ask an insignificant question which did nothing to defend her client. She said to the officer can you show me on the map where this incident occurred and after the officer pointed on the map she thanked him and said to the Judge, thats all - Are you shi**ing ME? No surprise the Judge returned guilty verdicts across the board on all her cases.I usually dont write bad reviews. In fact I usually dont write any type of reviews. But I felt the need to write this - because their services seem like a scam to me and the public should be warned.How they have so many positive reviews is a mystery and leads me to believe they are somehow purchasing these good ratings.
The old men (his father) Mr. Ziff use to be a good lawyer big respect to him lost no case or if did could change the charge and not let my license get suspended, and this fake Men who set’s and does nothing can do nothing about your case, except loosing every and each case but wanting more and more money each time, and “saying well it’s your fault you have violated the law” I know a**hole but I’m hiring you and paying you to deal with that, don’t even go to close to his office my license got suspended cause of this uneducated coward.

High recommended! Good strategy by postponing the hearing date as much as possible. My hearing date was postponed by 4 years. My best guess is that the police officer already forgot some of the details during the cross examination. Ticket was dismissed and it saved me money and points on my license. Two thumbs up :)

My first time ever having to use an attorney, and I was more than pleased. I was facing a speeding ticket + 2 points on my license for doing double the posted speed limit (52mph), when pulled over by highway patrol. I immediately drove to the nearest attorney office (Jeffrey Ziff & Associates) to show them the tickets I had just received 15 mins prior. After a whole year of waiting for the courts to hear my case, I had forgotten all about this ticket. One day I decided to check some email, and BAM! I see an email from Jeffrey... By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. Had prolonged these tickets 4 years paying bond for extensions. Gave this lawyer about 1000$ In that period of time. When the day came to wrap up the case I was found guilty on every ticket. No follow up on how the case would be handled just assured me I was in good hands by his staff. There are two other attorneys in dmv that have gotten many tickets in the past lifted several years back for me. I have had a clean driving record for some time now there should’ve been some leniency. Definitely not worth the money I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anybody. The other attorneys in dmv though they don’t seem very professional will fight for you for a fraction of what you have to pay to this firm. 0 stars big joke. When I spoke to lawyer after case was done he was very rude and sarcastic.

Listen to me carefully, I cannot!!!! I cannot tell you about the numerous amounts of cellphone, moving violation of all kinds, I cannot tell in depth, its too much to detail. But for the last 4 - 6 years I have accumulated over a dozen tickets, by some standards I am supposed to be without a valid driver license in New York State but My God Jefferey Ziff. I personally deliver every ticket to the office and that is the extent of my worry and my fears. They meticulously navigated me through the pitts of certain suspension. I am indebted and anyone receiving an unwanted gift from the NYPD, proceed directly to Jefferey Ziff and Company. Do not shop around, its the closest thing to a guaranteed favourable resolution for their clients.
Jeffrey Ziff is the worst unexperienced traffic lawyer! My first ticket had a video prove that I could go and dismiss . So I trusted him but he didnt go to the court and I got three points for that. Yesterday he lost on my second ticket. He cant even reschedule the court day! Applying for him nothing but wasting time and spending extra money
Terrible, they pushed off my ticket for a while, then lost the case. They didnt notify me that they lost the case and i had to pay the ticket. I got fined for not paying the ticket, and my license was suspended. The lawyer didnt take responsibility for any thing, and even denied i ever hired him!!!!!!! Only admitted i hired him after i showed him i have proof, and he still didnt take any responsibility. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! TERRIBLE!!

Stay away! I hired this company to fight my speeding ticket, but they did nothing except rescheduling the hearing once (and also charged me for that). And after the actual hearing they sent me an email with short line saying Sorry you were found guilty during the hearing, not even a phone call! So I ended up needing to pay $200+ to DMV, and thats on top of $250+ that was paid to this law company. My advise - if you already got the ticket - either plead guilty and pay if you agree to it or go fight yourself and youll get much more chances than when hiring these crooks. Dont repeat my mistake in dealing with this company and drive safe.

Dont recomment it !!! If you want to just extend your ticket period yes you can go ,otherwise just wasting time. You are gonna pay money for extending your ticket period, which is you can do it online by yourself. And very rude crew, again dont recomment it to anyone.I had a ticket , at the time when I gave them this ticket, I didnt know more about traffic lawyers, and I gave it to him , after 3+ years , he didnt win my ticket and I got points.There were a lot of good traffic lawers ,if you gonna search them, unfontunatly I heard and found them after I got my case . Dont go to these guys, they are scammers, they say the will save your license I got 3 tickets in a row maximum sentence first speeding ticket 31+ I got a 400$ fine 450$ driving assessment and 8 points.. 2nd ticket I got 22 over speed limit... they got me 300$ fine and 6 points.. on all 3 tickets they pleaded guilty and said it was the best of my interest. No it aint best of my interest I could have pleaded guilty my self... 2 years ago..... I dont reccomend anyone to go to these guys... and plus they didnt wanna appeal my ticket.... and said go do it yourself.

Hired Jeffrey Ziff and Associates, P.C to handle a ticket I received for disobeying pavement signs. I never had to step into court and the ticket was resolved with a count of not guilty (which is great, because the reason I couldnt see the pavement markers was snow on the ground and a giant truck blocking the actual sign on the sidewalk). Horrible law firm!!! They were supposed to take care of my dads traffic ticket ,but instead got him 6 points on drivers license! There was no communication throughout the whole process ,all they were saying dont worry ,you will have no points ,everything is taken care of , and sometimes later,surprise! Stay away from them! One star is being generous. The one girl that answers phone is extremely rude every time I call. They failed on maintaining my innocence of the traffic violation and did not even hardly have anything to say about how the preceding went. Wasted all my hard earned money just to feel like they did not even try.
I understand that some people are mad because the case was lost, but they never give a 100% guarantee simply because its impossible to guarantee the win. Jeffrey Ziff got me out of a few tickets and saved me from a license suspension, for all speeding tickets I was given a 70% guarantee of winning the case, and so far he won all of them. Just saying, one experience shouldnt turn you away, he is a very experienced lawyer and hes very reasonable with his prices.

I was told about this law office by friends witch heard from friends like is good law office to fight ticket so try my first ticket with them witch was for “fail to yield to pedestrians” and I send a picture of how people is walking not on walkway and police was not right. So this office reschedule twice this ticket then they say judge founded your guilty and I ended up paying things ticket, and I say ok it my be happening.Then in other case after 3-5 moths got two tiket with two day intervals first when I make left turn on stop light was already red while I was in intersection and cop stop me and give me ticket for red light. And other one for not turning left (between 7am to 4pm) and again I was in the middle of intersection this is nyc so make turn left because I was blocking intersection and cop stop me and give ticket for not turning sign. So in both cases after rescheduling them twice and I ended up to be guilty in one of them and 3rd is in row to and I believe and I know what I will get specially after this reviewerI think this office is making money on people and not doing nothing.Couple friends they got same problem after I recommend this office. About 8 personsSo please think twice before you are going true them. And I will never recommend this office any more.Now I fell bad because I have points on my licens because of my chose. And lost 750$ with them and reschedule 48$ for each ticket twice and points on licenseI will come later one with update on my last ticket with this company

Terrible lawyer. He overcharges and when its time for the court hearing he demands customers for more money because as he says it is a hard case. He tried to overcharge me additional $1,000. Jeffrey Ziff is a rip off. Never go to him. I would not recommend him at all.
