I picked up a few items from here in March22. Most of the items arrived relatively quickly. I changed my mind on one piece, and have been calling to cancel the delivery since Memorial Day weekend, but get doged everytime. Manager said he doesnt have the authority to cancel a shipment even though I havent received it -- doesnt really make sense. Make sure you are 100% sure you want your item as this store will not give you your money back even though they have a clear cancellation and return policy listed.
If I can I would give NEGATIVE star. Looks like most of 5 stars ratings are FAKE.I purchased a coffee table in 11/21 for 1100.00 USD and 6 months past still havent received it.Stay away from from this place and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.I am working with my credit card company to get the refund.
Received ripped $1000 couch during covid closures. They changed ownership and refuse to fix couch after they said they would send someone to fix it, when they delievered it ripped. Fishy business! Read reviews , not the only one ! They change ownership to get out of being responsible for damaged furniture! Read reviews and consumer complaints! Buyer beware!
Be aware do not go to this store you’ll be very disappointed and discouraged and lied to.The managers are all scam artist and liars and tell you stories and blame the factory for their screwup‘s went to store more than 6 months ago and dealt with Everett The manager. I Ordered a bedroom set. I have never dealt with a company like this before. Deceitful un truthful . promising you the furniture will be delivered more than a half a dozen times with different dates, and still no furniture. I have spoken to the customer service rep Fred who is also A liar. I called and asked for my money back and I still haven’t received it. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I’m going to take them to court do yourself a favor stay away from Jennifer Furniture Farmingdale they are a horrible organization that does not care about that customer and will tell you anything just to make a sale
The entire team at the Farmindale Jennifer Furniture store are all up beat, patient, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help! We came back a 2nd time to furnish our kids rooms. Semoi is absolutely amazing in every way. No pressure and very transparent. She knew ALL of the furniture and understood the styles of both our picky children. The price was right and delivery time is resonable too! She even helped with designing/coordinating tips.We recommend all families purchase here!!
I purchased a table which came damaged at delivery. The table would not open properly to insert the leaf. They sent over a technician to repair it but they were unable to repair it. They said they would order a new table and its been three months and I have not heard from them yet. I have called to speak to the manager and left messages in which no one has returned my call. Terrible customer service at this furniture store!
We ordered from here so many months ago and they deliverd only part of my order, they said that the rest broke in transit and they reorderd it. They said it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Today its been double that time and when I went to the store and tried talking to them, they were extremely rude and gave no answers. I will never get anything from them ever again. Do not order from them, they dont respect their customers.

The glass dining table was dirty from the glass to the table legs... The bed from the bedroom set is a complete disaster... I tried moving the bed and it started falling apart... the slats for the mattress was not properly mounted... the screws are sticking home. This was a complete disappointment this bed is not going to even last a few months... even the zipper on the sofa was placed improperly...Update #2- They sent two ppl to supposedly “fix” the bed. As soon as they looked at the bed they said the bed is already put together and there was nothing they could do... they kept asking me what I wanted them to do... I showed them the issue with moving the bed and the slats... then they called the boss and began speaking in Spanish... from the little that I could understand they said “la cama no esta firma”, meaning the bed is not firm... they then used one finger and lifted the slats and all the screws popped out from one to slat then another, and another... After calling and speaking to their boss several times, they started telling me there’s nothing wrong with the bed... it’s a hook bed that’s why the whole bed does not move all together when I try to move it... they said all they could do is screw back the screws that came out... The sales person said this was a good quality bed, which it is not. This bed is only of poor quality, it was poorly assembled, it is also damaged.
My wife and l had a great experience this location of Jennifer Furniture. The sales representative Shirley and her Manger were so helpful. They are extremely friendly and not pushy. Shirley showed us many options to make sure we got what we wanted. A great shopping experience. I highly recommend this location and Shirley if you are buying furniture.
Three stars because their prices are reasonable. Otherwise, no one said hello to us when we walked in and while browsing around. Had to find an employee ourselves, and even then, he wasnt interested in making a sale. Stood behind the counter and we had to yell back and forth to communicate. But Ive been to Ashley and Raymour before coming here, and Jennifer had the best pricing so i bought my chairs anyway.
My wife and I went looking for a new sofa and loveseat. A salesman Gary gave us a tour of their inventory without pressuring us into make a decision, he was a joy to deal with and help us make the best choice. If anyone is looking for a friendly atmosphere and gentleman to help with your furniture needs, I Highly recommend Gary.
Very helpful and professional in store. I purchased a sectional with 6 pieces. Only 5 were delivered. Called the store they said they would call me back. Yet to get a call back about my sixth piece. I paid for six and need this rectified. Dont trust these sales people.
Buyer Beware!!!! Worst than a used car sales lot. Explained our situation (issues with prior furniture delivery and significant delays); sales person appeared to understand/ sympathetic and got us to purchase another (more pricey/overprice) set because he gauaranteed delivery in 2-weeks. that time passed and no furniture. every time i call the store it goes straight to VM. had to travel back to the store where they said delivery will actually take months!! whats worse is, when i tried to cancel the order they gave me the runaround and eventually got nasty and threatened a restocking fee (for furniture that the manufacturer cant deliver in months allegedly).
Semoi Arjoon was professional, knowledgeable, about the furniture, she was cheerful and was fun to talk with about other things besides making a sale. Thank you semoi for making the purchase of our new bedroom set fun, after 30 years with the same bedroom set we finally have a new one.
I would give zero stars if possible. The entire process with this store has been horrible. On our first visit, after ordering our new couch they were supposed to send us a fabric swatch, that never came. After 4 and a half months of waiting for the couch, I got a call saying it was ready to be delivered. After calling the warehouse to schedule delivery they told me there was a problem with my order and that I had to contact the store. I called the store and they told me that only half of my couch shipped and that the company that they used to make the fabric is no longer in business and I had to pick a new fabric and they had to restart on production. I was assured by the store manager that they would rush production and I would have the couch in 4 weeks and that she would follow up with me after a week to make sure everything was on schedule. I never received a call back. After 3 and a half weeks I called to check on the status and the manager told me that it would be another 4 and a half weeks before the couched shipped, then most likely another 2 weeks before it was delivered to me. So what was an original timeframe of 4 weeks was now 9 and a half weeks. The manager is completely incompetent and doesnt know the lead times for her own business. I will never shop at this store again. STAY AWAY, youve been warned.
I Order furniture from them in the past and was satisfied! But this time I have been trying to add to that same set and was told & promised 6-12 weeks delivery time! I understand that their are thing that are uncontrollable, but they never followed up with me, as I had to continually call them monthly to find out when I would be getting my furniture! They keep blaming everyone else but themselves for the problems they can control!I placed my order back in December 2020, as it is now going on October 2021 in a few days & only received a part of the order a little over a month ago! I had delivery drivers during the whole process schedule deliveries arrive at my home with nothing and wasting my whole day to wait for them and lose pay from work to have them bring damaged merchandise, wrong item and try to pass it off! This company and their delivery service ie Metropolitan warehouse are a sham! I have even been in contact with their commerce Manager Fred who promised me everything will be delivered, though when I try to call him he never returns phone calls! If he does it’s with empty promises! The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing is the best way to describe how they operate! They take your money and run! Buyer beware!!!!!! I left a message my last one before submitting this for the manager Fred with a time frame of 1pm to call me back after I had called at 10:30 am on oct27th! As you can see I haven’t heard from him or anyone since then! I don’t like complaining like this on here but I guess I have no choice my next step is to call my credit card and dispute the charge and complain to the Better Business Bureau and take things further if I have too
We furnished our entire 5 bedroom house with furniture from Jennifer and we couldn’t be more happy with the purchase. They were able to accommodate us through all the COVID delays. We were able to get all of our furniture and there were no damages. We highly recommend Maurisa! She helped us through the entire process and recommended furniture that looked amazing in our house. She is well informed and is super helpful. Will definitely be coming back to Jennifer for future purchases.

I bought a white bedroom set for my daughter, just got delivery today. i am very pleased with jennifer furniture and the sales person james who informed me about covid delays in the furniture industry and delivery came as promised. my daughter loves her new bedroom set! we recommend jennifer furniture.
Please be aware of who Jennifer Furniture uses for their shipping company. They use Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery and they are the absolute worst and most unreliable company you can work with. We bought a couch on February 13th at the Farmingdale Jennifer Furniture. We knew we would have a wait due to the pandemic- no problem. The problem started when our couch came in and Jennifer Furniture would not set up delivery without payment in full. That was on May 1st. Delivery was set for Saturday May 8th. We sat home all day waiting for the couch that never was delivered! The company reported that they sat outside of our house for 20 minutes and left because nobody was home. In fact, they took a picture of the front of our house for proof and the picture showed our front door wide open and both cars in the driveway. Arent those all the signs that someone is home? The drivers lied and never tried to deliver the couch. In fact, my husband and I, who were home waiting for the couch, saw a box truck drive up and down the block but never stop. After calling Lance, the manager at Jennifer Furniture, and the manager of Metropolitan and being furious for being lied to, another deliver was set up for May 15th. Well...we made sure someone was home to cover our window of 12-4 and nobody came! I called the warehouse 5 times and was told we were stop 10 and they were on stop 5....then stop 7... I called so many times that the girl answering the phone greeted me by name. At 7:30 pm I called one last time and the girl said they were on stop 11. I told her we were stop 10 and she said the drivers tried to call me but I didnt answer my phone so they said we werent home and went onto stop 11. My cell phone never left my hands all day and we didnt have any missed calls.I cant believe Jennifer Furniture would do business with this shipping company. At this point we DO NOT want the couch and will be battling for a refund. This is not how we do our business! Please...please do not shop at Jennifer Furniture if they are using this shipping company. If you read reviews online for Metropolitan Delivery, most people have a similar story. I feel bad for the nice sales guy who helped us, but we will NEVER shop there again and we hope they do the right thing and refund us.
Great ambiance. Semoi our sales rep was fantastic. Not pushy, very polite and found what we were looking for. Prices were better than the competition. The salesman was a perfectly gentleman and very patience with us as we surveyed the store for different bargains.We recommend this establishment to anybody in the New York area. So Happy with the Quality of Service and Product that We Received from Jennifer Furniture at Broad Hollow Road in Farmingdale, Long Island.My wife and I are so happy with the purchase if our sofa be. We had a long list of criteria to be met for the purchase of the crowning piece of furniture for our new home. After scouring the internet and physically checking other retailers, I had begun to think we would have to just settle for half of the specs we were looking for in the item which was to be the crowning centerpiece to our living room.Fortunately, Hussein and the team at Jennifer Furniture proved me wrong when they presented my wife and I the sofa bed that matched all that we had on our list and surpassed my expectations in size, quality, aesthetics, and cost (which was very fair for what we were getting). Also, because Jennifer Furniture’s manufactures its own sofa beds as opposed to only acting as a retailer, the inner mechanism was not generic and had extra perks in that the head part could be adjusted independently, and the mattress was not a generic slab as we had seen in another nearby retailer just before walking into Jennifer Furniture.On delivery day, the two deliverymen arrived right on time; they were fast and methodical, BUT also super careful while handling our oversized and extra heavy sofa bed to ensure there would be no damage to it or our home. They had no issues when it would not fit through our doorway. With tools they had on hand just in case, they carefully removed the door to get it through the doorway and securely replaced the door. Afterward, the door seemed to have never been removed in the first place. The delivery men were professional, polite and even asked us at the end if there was anything else that they could do to be of service before they left.I would definitely recommend Jennifer Furniture to my friends and family.
My family and I visited Jennifer a week ago. We just bought a new home and of course needed new furniture! Our salesman, Glenn, was excellent, knowledgeable and a sweetheart. We felt like he really had our best interest at heart. We left with a beautiful sofa, loveseat and coffee table to match! We plan on going back to buy bedroom furniture for our daughter! Our 110 experience ended at Jennifer Convertsble. Their show room and attention to their customers was great! Our sales person De Anna was the absolute nicest person to deal with. She was very patient and knowledgeable. She did pressure us in any way. Would definitely recommend shopping for all your furniture needs here!
My husband and I took a while to decide one what sofa to buy for our new apartment. We met with Marisa who was a wonderful saleswoman, truly listened to what our needs were, and helped us get exactly what we wanted. Even the store manager was so kind and helped us out. We were able to leave with not only the product we wanted, but completely customizable. We can not wait to receive our sofa!! Overall we had a wonderful experience at this store, and would highly recommend.
Horrible delivery service even for I stock items. After over 2 weeks wait I had to call the store to figure out where my coffee table is. They charged for the furniture and forgot to deliver and did not let me cancel the order. I found exactly the same coffee table on wayfair, much chipper and delivery within 4 days.Will never come back to Jennifer furniture.
Jennifer Furniture made shopping a pleasure instead of a pain. My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with DeAnna. Not only was she sweet and friendly, she was also very knowledgeable. She was able to find us exactly what we were looking for at a great price! We will definitely be back when we are ready to furnish our next room.
HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. This entire experience has been absolutely appalling. We ordered our furniture 2+ months ago. We were told that it would arrive within 2-3 weeks. Followed up at the 3 week mark, order hadnt left the warehouse. Followed up at the 6 week mark, order still had not left the warehouse. Each time, I had to be the one to follow up on my order. Multiple times, employees told me that they would contact the manufacturer and give me a call back that day/the following day with an update - never once received any sort of update or call back from anyone at the store. Left 5 voicemails & sent 3 e-mails requesting a status update on our furniture - still not a single response. It has now been 11 weeks, and we have not had a SINGLE update from your store. We have been given the run-around by every person weve spoken to (when we actually have been able to get in contact with someone). Ive requested to speak with the manager multiple times... but still my calls were not returned. We ordered furniture for our new home weeks before COVID 19 closed down your stores, and the fact that not a single Jennifer employee has followed up with us during this entire time to reassure of that our order is still on track for delivery, is mind blowing. Would NOT recommend this store. We will not be back in the future.
We’ve been looking everywhere for a well made couch that goes with our budget. Ms. Maurisa from Jennifer Furniture Farmingdale, helped us out today in finding what we need. she showed us variety of options and helped us find what we want. its kinda hard because we only have small budget for furniture because we just recently bought a house and she really made it easy for us to find what we are looking for. This is also our first time coming to this store and we discovered that they have a lot of great furniture choices. overall we are happy with our purchase and Ms. Maurisa provided us great service 👌🏻
I came into the store looking for furniture for the first time. Kathy was super helpful. She wasn’t pushy at all like other places I have gone to. She made me feel very comfortable and I would highly recommend going to her. I told her what I was looking for and she had many options for me to choose from. I had a great experience and believe Kathy had a great deal to do with that!
Do not purchase the furniture protection plan - Guardsman. The salespeople recommend it when purchasing their furniture. They will tell you Guardsman will clean or repair your furniture if there’s a stain or damage, etc. It is a big waste of money because Guardsman will deny your claim as they do with others.Do yourself and your pocket a favor and do not pay for the plan!

2022-08-14PC Has sold us furniture items on two occasions. She is very professional and very knowledgeable of the store’s inventory. We like the diversity of style items which fit my mothers needs and what she was looking for. PC was very patient, personable, kind and empathetic towards my elderly mother, we greatly appreciated her assistance and will surely come back again.

2022-09-15My husband and I had an incredibly good experience with P.C. who helped us get a beautiful living room furniture set for a huge bargain until I got home and read reviews by people who never got their furniture delivered. I tried to cancel but P.C. promised that they got a new delivery company and that we would get our furniture before school started this year ! We got our coffee table two days later and we got our amazing couch and everything else before school started this year ! We are very grateful !

2022-09-17This is my second purchase with Jennifer Furniture in Farmingdale.I dealt with Cathy on my first purchase and was so happy that she was there today. Its is an absolute pleasure dealing with someone who listens to your wants and needs and steers you in the right direction with no pressure. With a little help from John we were able to come up with the perfect piece for my living room. I highly recommend Jennifer Furniture and Cathy for your next purchase.

2022-08-05I wanted to warn buyers to be careful of dealing with new sales manager at Jennifer Furniture- Khan who just moved to Jennifer Furniture from Showroom furniture Galleries. Khan is inside out dishonest. Every drop of blood in his body has dishonesty, lies and cheating. Jennifer is under new management and new owner should be careful of Khan so that he dont ruin in your new business.Khan has cheated me with $ 5200.00 when he was working at Showplace furniture galleries. I bought dining table set in 2021 June and five damage chairs were delivered and not replaced as of this date. I called him many times and he never replaced damaged chairs and he left the company. He is best for the lips services only. Be careful of him!!!When its comes to Jennifer, I have excellent experience of buying bedroom furniture and nothing against Jennifer.

2022-07-20PC was so patient, we just came to the store to browse, but it was unbelievable we ended up shopping for our entire living and dining room. The items are beautiful, she made us amazing deals we could not say no to. We are very happy with the delivery and the customer service. Cheers !!!

2022-04-22The price was fair for the beautiful set. We were hoping to get it sooner. First we were told late April and now June 21st. I really hope it comes sooner and its delivered with ease. I would like to buy more furniture from this store, but the wait is absurd. Covid is not like it was 2 yrs ago.

2022-07-17Jennifer’s was the first furniture store we stopped in when shopping for a sleeper sofa. We visited several after, but Jennifer’s had exactly what we wanted for a killer price. The best part was Samoi, the director of sales. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door, and, while encouraging us to purchase, was never pushy like the other sales people we dealt with at other stores.

2022-04-13DONT BOTHER SHOPPING HERE, ITS A SCAM!I bought furniture here and paid for warranty. When my furniture finally came in it was in bad shape and falling apart, so i wanted to return it.It wasnt possible, the store says contact the warranty company and the warranty company says contact the store..The 1 star reviews all sound&look familiar, so be wise and dont shop here!
