Normally love this place but just went to get tickets for the first showing i’m interested in 2022 and see that they are now charging per person instead of car. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 not good at all

5 stars! This is the only drive in i have been to and I loved it! The tickets are way cheaper than a normal theater. The popcorn was very good, and the people running the snack bar were very nice. I would highly recommend going here. The area were you park is pretty big so you can pick which spot works the best and you can stay for the second movie for free.

Great drive in atmosphere and the french fries and popcorn were delicious. Would have given 5 stars but the cheeseburger was cold even though they had just been made.

Cheaper than a theater and you can see two movies. Popcorn $6.00 (large) hamburger ($3.50) not bad. No mosquitos surprisingly. Its a nice place.

Cute drive in. Its cool that theyll do nights where live bands play. Best part for me is being able to get good ice cream Sundays during the show. Most people show up early so you should too if you want a particular spot, but I usually get there ~10 mins before the movie and usually dont have any issues.
Always a fun night! They have a great system for making sure everyone is safe and having a good time. Food and ice cream are ordered online (which was super fast and efficient), everyone can enjoy the movies within their cars and wore a mask. For a first outing in months, I felt very comfortable - lets support our drive ins!!

I have always enjoyed the Jericho Drive. I have been going there for many, many years. I highly recommend a drive in with friends and family. On a great spring and summer evening not to much is better in my opinion.
Great place to watch a movie under the stars. Love being able to get ice cream on the other side of Twist while being in the drive-in. Fantastic customer service too!
Make sure you never go against what the Jericho Drive-In owners Lisa Perry-Chenettes signs might say, which are very confusing. A Karen type and will scream all kinds of things at you if you do
I hadnt been to a drive-in in a long time, and this place was amazing. The young guys running the concessions were very kind and great to chat with. I didnt know how to turn my lights off but keep my radio on (and felt dumb) but one of the women on staff kindly walked over and walked me through it. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Great family or friends drive-in experience! Lots of room and access, but try to be early to get the better spots and better access paths. Snack food is good with some hot/fried options in addition to popcorn and candy. Full ice cream shop off to the side, too, accessible from inside or just passing by from outside. Prices are cheaper than movie theaters, especially for kids and there are sometimes discount coupons online. Staff are friendly, too!
Enjoyed a live concert in a safe and socially distant environment. Bonus when they broadcast the stage onto the big screen.
I have been coming here since high school and its the best. The audio is great because it comes over the car speaker. Theres a lot of great snack food options. Theyre not healthy but youre at the drive in so popcorn and candy and crazy sundaes are the way to go. Lots of people bring their dogs or kids and set up lawn chairs so its also great if you have tiny things that dont like to be left alone.
I love coming here, but I don’t know if movies today are just not meant for drive In theaters or if their projector bulb was busted. The movie was too dark. It’s not just this drive in where this is an issue. I know all drive in theaters had to switch to digital and the distance from the projector to the screen is creating a brightness issue. I was really bummed but the owners were nice about it and refunded us. The ice cream and environment are wonderful.
Hard pass. Came here for Kane Brown and first of all they over sold. There was clearly not enough room for the amount of cars they welcomed In.The first staff was just to get in very rude.Then I talked to two others that were verynice!!I told her there was no room and she gasped said what we have like 100 more people trying to come in.Then the owner came down to speak to me was and very disrespectful and rude.We started just parking everywhere.We were told one car between two poles, so they didnt calculate how many spots they actually had or ?But then where the screen was right on a road and there was pretty consistent traffic seen and heard throughout.Nice idea In theory...but not great execution and the staff being rude made it a solid miss.
Went to the Jericho Drive In for the 4th of July. Double feature and fireworks. Nice fireworks display. The malted milkshake was one of the best Ive had in a while. Onion rings were good cheeseburger was ok. Not great, bit definitely edible. Dont bother getting the diet soda; its about the worst Ive had. Very super diet-y. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Its a fun experience.
Awesome place didnt think there was one around Im from the Bronx and that was fire. I love the facts it not getto and the popcorn pretty good. I havent tried the food yet but 🦁 king was so cute . But the kids was talking so much I enjoyed the movie more. Then anything.
LOVED my experience here. This was my first time ever at a drive in theater so I was pretty new on this. I came with my 10month old puppy and watched Petes Dragon as he slept.. the food was pretty good with a decent selection and never ran out of anything.. and ice cream topped the night. nicely affordable spot and staff is very friendly which is hard to find nowadays
Great little drive in right in Albany. Adults are 10 bucks. The have a nice ice cream shop there. My tip is to get a vanilla soft serve and pay an extra bucks to get a peanut butter dip. It is cheaper than their sundaes. You can also get ice cream there if you arent going to a movie.
I like how they dont try to do to much like other local drive ins..as far as to many screens in small congested area.. like how you can get REAL ice cream right there. However I feel like they need to put a little love..and some $$ into the bathrooms... old. Think they the same now as when I was a kid 20 years ago lol. One of those faucets you gotta hold on to keep on..ugh.. other than that tho I like this place.

Have been coming to the Jericho each summer for many years. Kids love hunkering down in back of van with many blankets and pillows (and junk food). Wouldnt be complete without a trip for ice cream (which I think is the best in the Capital District) and several trips to the snack bar. The restrooms could be a bit updated, but kind of reminds me of camping. Staff is always very friendly.
We grew up in the area and have raised 3 kids in the area also. We’ve. Been coming here for over 40++ years now. It’s also a great place to watch a couple movies. Who wants to go sit in a over priced dirty movie theater when you can drive into one in your own car, bring your own snacks if you want or buy from their snack shack with good food. You get 2 movies for less than 1 movie at a dirty theater.These are good people and I much rather give a family business my hard earned money over a conglomerate who is greedy.If you haven’t been here, come visit, you will enjoy it over being inside a dirty theater with loud mouth inner city people who are always loud and rude.

Ive been going to this drive inn sense I was a. Kid its a good place but the prices on the food is way to high but always a good time
Owners have absolutely no regard for what this place has caused in disturbing peoples sleep. All their loud fireworks and music causes issues for animals ptsd and people with auditory issues . When your approach owners they dont care and block you from commenting on their Facebook and place any blame on people that have paid to hold their events there.. No accountability by owners.. They claim they dont profit. Hello. Sure they do with their awful icecream and food. Certainly not decent folks operating this place who cant even see the other side of things. .
I have been going to The Jericho for well over a decade and love the place. Their Covid prevention measures are great and it is nice to have a bit of normality in this locked down world, enjoyed The Terminator and RoboCop on the big screen while scarfing down a Jericho Sundae. Best date night I have had in 6 months.
Brought my classic and was among the first few cars. I pulled into a central spot maybe a couple of rows back. A kid said to me that the spots were saved, motioning to a camp chair and a car at either end of the row. I realized that was 10-12 spots. I didnt move but it made for a tense evening. Managment needs to articulate no saving more than a spot or two. Ice cream was very good.

Great place for a summer movie. The ice cream stand is great, with insane portion sizes. The biggest downside is the cleanliness of their kitchen and public bathrooms. Both are in desperate need of renovations.
Childhood memories.. close to home / capital region. Reasonable prices for snacks and ice cream.. decent bathrooms. Good people working there and nice, safe family environment. Clean and pretty.. nice sunsets and good lawn for kids to play on before the movie. Love it !
On the outside of the drive in, Jericho Twist Ice Cream has some great sundaes and a new flavor each week. Cash-only or minimum $5 for credit. Inside the drive-in theater, the experience is as expected, the screen is a good size, and theres plenty of room for cars cars to park.
I love this quaint old school drive inn. 9 bucks 2 movies great snack bar and ice cream stand open til 930-10 parking or vision never a issue. 7 days a week open starts in June
Great drive inn! This is my favorite drive inn its clean for a drive inn. They usually have a great groupon/local flavor opportunity in the spring. Love love the amazingly large ice cream sundaes.

A great throwback to days gone by. If you want to spend an evening reliving your youth. Grab your best girl, and head south from Albany on route 9w for just a few miles, and grab hold of a great evening snuggling, while watching a couple of first run movies. Tonight we saw The Incredibles 2 and Adrift.
Terrible service. Movie was good but we had difficulty with our lights and one of the workers came over and harassed us and while we tried to tell her our problems she continued to be rude and bug us. Wouldnt recommend if you want to sit with your trunk open or outside.
They always have great movies playing, cheap prices, and great food!
Took great care in providing a fun, unique high school graduation experience. Were all grateful for these folks being such good neighbors!

Entrance to drive in not clear. Waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told its the entrance for the ice cream shop. 95% of the cars in line were also going to the drive in
Bought tickets on line but still had to wait in line for 12 minutes to get in. But other than that it was amazing! Great date night in quarantine
Its a fun time, however I think the screen is too dark and they dont give free refills on fountain soda. Even the movie theater gives free refills on fountain soda.

Great location, good picture, excellent ice cream. The guy across the street was blasting the audio a half second behind for some reason. That was annoying.I will definitely return.

I have loved this place for 20 years now. Its an amazing place and I hope it never shuts down. Ice cream sundaes here are out of this world. 10/10 place.

Goy locked ouy of my var and owner stood right there to make sure we got in the car and able to ho home. He opened our door for us so i didnt have to pay a lock smith! love live love them. so curtous and kind. 50 yrs old and been going there my whole life. GREAT EXSPERIENCE!
Small local business, steeped in history and a fun place to see a movie. Its out of our way location wise but we had a great time there when we visited.

One of only a couple drive in movie theatres left in the area, cheap tickets, especially since they do double features, the Twist ice cream place is great, the snack bar has typical munchy food, but prices are good, service is always great

Food prices are high, popcorn is decent....Just dont let you preprepared food get cold or ask for it to be made fresh and enjoy the movie.

2022-06-20We have been consistent customers at the ice cream shop. It is excellent. The flavors and sundaes are amazing. Ive noticed other places skimp on toppings...NOT this place. Even if the line is long, they must have a great system because they work through the line efficiently and quickly. A place you must try. Weve come for movies, too and have enjoyed that experience as well.

2021-06-13Widest selection of ice cream, sundays & shakes. Can get crowded, especially in the ice cream parking lot on those busy days called the weekend. $$ so bring your wallet and love for ice cream.

2021-06-06Who doesnt love a drive-in movie? The price is good for a couple movies and between the concession stand and ice cream shop there are plenty of snacks available. I took one star away because they really could do some remodeling on the concession stand/bathrooms.
