I got a Couch set from this place last year. Two months after getting the set the chaise seat began to slump in I called and reported it to the the owner and Christina who sold me the set. I was told it is under warranty and it will be repaired. It has now been over a year and I am still getting a run around. I repeat do not get anything from this furniture store. Go to Bobs! I am sure you would fair off better. I wish I could give them zero stars!
This is the best place to shop in NYC hands down! The employees and store manager are extremely friendly. Most importantly there furnitures are legit! Real! And wont disappoint you! I have items from there from years and still go back for anything new I want in my apartment. Great service!! 5 Star Store!
I ordered my bedroom set, kids bed, dining room, and living room with tables,was promised nice lamps and two carpets by my sales person Christina. In two days I recieved my bed and my kids bed, in 3 days my dining set. They brought my bedroom set in a week. The delivery guy broke my dresser and brought the wrong chest. Instead of a media chest they bought a regular chest. So they took everything back the next day. The manager at the store told me in 2 days they will bring my living room and bedroom set. Well 2 days turned into a week. The day it was suppose to come the manager told me Ill be the 1st delivery in the morning. It was 3pm by the time they came. And instead of everything coming now I have to wait 3 more days for my headboard and my media chest. And my lamps and rugs never came. They are rude, unprofessional and liars! Please go to another furniture store. The headaches are not worth it. I could never get a hold of no one when I needed too. I spent $2600 there and they treated me like crap after they got my mmoney! Go to another place. When u first go they treat u nice but once they get your money your no use to them. I thought customers are suppose to be treated good especially if you spend money. Yea sure they have a package for 1999 for 3 rooms but theres another place for 1500 with a 42 inch tv and you get 3 rooms.Please, please, please go somewhere else! This place is horrible!
Never buy furniture from this place. They are very unprofessional and provide wrong info. I bought a couch from them and i received damaged furniture when they got delivered. I called and they said they will replace it. Ever since I called ( 50+ times times so far) they always lie, dont talk nicely over phone and never fixed my stuff. Every time I called they said they will send tech but never did. NEVER BUY YOUR STUFF FROM HERE. MY FURNITURES WERE ASHLEY MADE THATS WHY I BOUGHT FROM HERE. ITS WASTE OF MONEY TO BUY STUFF FROM HERE. I also bought extended service from here and told them wanna buy full coverage. They charge me and later when I called insurance company to claim they said I only have certain coverage. :(
Delivery people came on day promised. When they got there, they only had one couch cause they broke the other in transit. Furthermore they brought wrong lamps and rug. They brought other couch 3 days later. I had to go to the store to get my lamps and rug 2 weeks later, after delivery date was changed 3 times. When I got to the store they had my lamps but no rug(LIARS). Im still currently waiting for my rug, its been 3 weeks, Im angry and decided to write this review.
I’ve had my furniture from them well over 10 years and it’s still good. Today I am getting a new set will a different look and will be back with my review
I purchased a recliner set, and a piece was damaged I’ve been calling and appeared there twice to get it resolved and received no feedback after reaching out to them in person or on the phone.
Bought a wardrobe. I was expecting delivery @ 6. When I called them back 2 hours later, they lied to me that they were trying to reach me which they never did. Dont even apologize/ acknowledge their mistake. Came late in the night. Horrible service.
I read this store with a two star One reason was my first time I purchased furniture with them and I’m already have an a problem they broke my furniture and didn’t tell me they did it and when I tried to contact the store nobody picks up the phone for two days finally get in touch with the manager to explain what happened to the furniture so I decided that I want a replacement part but he offered to fix the couch I was OK with that but otherwise if I’m going to pay for something I should have to pay for something that is broke I should be able to get my replacement Of the part that was broke Instead I’m getting the runaround every time I tried to call no one is picking up the phone if by any chance you’re reading my message the owner I hope you do get in contact with me because I’m having another issue with that chair again I would never do business with the store again first experience last experience
I bring in a friend to wich Ihighly recommended this furniture to buy a whole package of furniture value at almost $ 2,900 dollars cash, only to be very disappointed at the delivery time they brought the wrong items not what she had picked at the store a d only half of the purchase was deliver and is going to be a month now and all they do is giving the round around to deliver the rest of the items Missing from the purchase claiming they waiting for the warehouse to deliver mean time they got the money, the manager or the owner Name Carlitos is the most RUDE NASTY ATTITUDE DISRESPECTFUL person to be dealing with the public,only one person whom is a sales person name Christina,is very Professional courteous to bad she has a butt head for a partner.i wouldnt recommend this store to anybody they are very irresponsible NO RESPECT.H.BONILLA DIAZ.
They came delivered my furniture knock my plants over had dirt all over the floor left the boxes and never said nothing about it I called the store and let the manager know and nothing ever gets done about it I have been going here for years but after this time I will never go back there again

2022-02-24I came here to shop for furniture for my new apartment. I bought a 1K bed set, $300 mirror and an $800 table. I was told everything would arrive in 4 weeks. Only the bed frame, mirror and table arrived. Upon unpacking the mirror we realized it was broken. We called that morning and they said they would send a replacement when they delivered the dresser. After 2 months of waiting I finally received the dresser but no mirror. I stopped by weekly for another 2 months and every week they told me it would be delivered the following week. I finally gave up and stopped asking. Additionally, the man kept trying to get me to spend more money and said i should get a footboard for my bed cause it wasn’t included. I was charged extra for a foot board that was already included with the bed set. I realized this after looking up the bed set on Ashley furniture. Thats where i also realized that i was EXTREMELY overcharged for everything and they were making additional charges just to get my money. To end this, they take advantage and get you to spend extra money, they take forever to deliver, if something is broken just forget about getting a replacement. I wish i had taken my money somewhere else but you live and you learn. I do not recommend this place. You’d think after spending over $2.5K they’d treat you with more respect for supporting their business.

2021-03-18I will never buy from here again spent almost 400$ on a dining table that came with missing pieces for two of my chairs. They are very unprofessional very disrespectful I been waiting two days and still no one has showed up it’s now 9:16pm and the guy that supposed to deliver it still has yet to come but they keep telling me they coming. The owner disrespected me and so did his family member who is the one that supposed to install it today. Please don’t buy from this furniture spot you will regret it.

2020-09-13I was told after a week the night before at 7:45 that i wasnt going to get my delivery. I was so disappointed that i went to ask for my refund. He takes my card to the machine and says ok money is there. I go shopping i find out i have no money. I call the store and they said oh i have to wait 3 to 5 business days for my refund. That is not fair or Justice! They didnt have to wait 3-5 days for my money. Im so disappointed with Jerusalem. I only went there because i believed in the NAME....

2021-02-10I came in here to buy furniture for my first apartment and they were super friendly and helped me find the perfect couch , I first got a leather couch 3 seater and the tv stand a queen size bed and a bunk bed plus dressers but when i saw how beautiful the first couch was I has to come back for the love seat and a night stand . I highly recommend this furniture store and their prices are affordable as well .

2019-04-24I do not recommend it, I made a claim to the owner, for a sofa that I bought there because the people who delivered it scraped and broke the sofa I spoke with the owner in three different occasions and I even showed him pictures of the damage and he said that he’s going to send someone to fix it. The person in charge of fixing the damage to the sofa. He never called me and he did not even show up at my house.

2018-03-07Went into the store May 8th 2017 paid for a full sized head board, and dresser chest with my debit card. The salesman Emmanuel asked me to pay cash when I took out my debit card. I told him I didnt have $350 cash on me. He reluctantly took the debit card. Furniture was to be delivered the next day on the 9th, I stated calling the store about 3 pm when they didnt show up. Was told delivery at 4 PM, that came and went. I kept calling every hour until 10 pm they were closed, furniture never delivered. The next day I called them, spoke with the salesman Emmanuel, He claimed he couldnt remembered me, and didnt know when I was talking about. I immediately called my bank, the bastards already took the money out my account. I told the bank they never delivered the furniture, and has my money. The bank took the money back from their account it was deposit into. Those people have the nerve to be harassing me to be paid money, for furniture they never delivered. Maybe they think I pick money off a tree, and can give it away free; but thats not happening! Please be careful, dont purchase anything from that store. I dont know what kind of scam, or criminal activity they are running.

2019-11-13I move in to a new apartment last year. I went to that store and bought everything there for my new place! I spend almost 6000 thousand $. Now the couch is all ripped and they told me it’s was Ashley leather! And last week my bed broke two times. Everything is that store is Garbage! Please people think twice before you buy something is there!

2015-04-16My fiance and I came in and brought a loveseat and couch (sectional with queen size bed fold out). The owner said we should get our furniture delivered in a week, but he would call us the next day to if the order could be expedited, but he never called. We actually called him two days later to only hear our furniture wouldnt be delivered until the following Wednesday. By this time is been two weeks, they deliver the loveseat only. We call to ask about the sectional and they say its going to be another week..long story short, we call back and he says another week.. Making it a month since we signed off on everything. The supposed owner says its not in his control because its coming from Ashley Furnitures warehouse. That shouldnt be the customers problem and maybe they should STOP carrying those products that come from Ashley Furniture. They communicate horribly and never take responsibility. Id advise you not to spend your hard earned money at this place.
