A TRUE BLUE experience in the worst way. Despite the fact that jet blue was ranked last place in January survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal I still booked with them and currently regretting itDelayed flights, cancelled flights, overbooking of flights, understaffed, non existent customer service....sorry to be fair Customer service exist if you want to wait hours for a person to answer ... all I can say is How the mighty have fallenSeriously though.. a jet blue associate who rebooked my flight to a neighboring city ( not where I wanted to go) told me take a two hour cab ride to my destination ... almost the same amount of time as my flight and then didnt want to give a voucher for the cab. On top of that my new flight arrangement is delayed. Jet blue just celebrated its years in business .... I will be there at the out of business celebration when it happens because it will at this pace!Please take note of time differenceJet blue to real time converter needed when waiting
Neat terminal at LGA that is not connected to the other 3 terminals at LGA. To get here using the bus, you have to take the local Q47 bus, which does not run as frequent or as fast as the Q70 SBS.Once airside, there are no lounges and the terminal is pretty small with only about 5 gates.JetBlue is once again great in economy class with quality snacks and drinks and great service!
Just can’t believe the baggage claim customer service agent. She has no customer service skills at all. No empathy, body language is a zero . Just arrived from Tampa and bag did not come. This lady was so rude talking about how she can’t magically make the bag appear. Saying this with a body language to match. Am done with jetblue. Better make sure my bag gets delivered and everything intact.
I arrived at 12 for a 2 pm flight. I had an error at the kiosk check-in. I tried to go to the help desk where they made me stand for two and a half hours before telling me that I needed to buy a new ticket, that they could not refund me my original ticket, and charged me twice for my bags.This cost me a meeting with a client and I lost money on that end too due to this. Customer service at the airport was beyond rude. I called phone customer support and they offered me a fraction of the original cost of the first flight in credits. As though Im ever flying Jet Blue again.Truly a reprehensible experience.
The gate staff failed to stop someone from boarding who clearly should have purchased 2 seats, so I half of my seat was occupied by this person who was seated next to me. On board flight staff told me they agreed and would report, when I called customer service was informed no one reported anything.
The terminal in lga is quite small with only two tsa areas. My entire plane almost missed our flights. We were in line with another flights passengers. There is no excuse for this. No perks in first class just leg room. You will have more leg room in an exit row. Im dissappointed in jetblue.
I like jet blue plane but on the arrival in LaGuardia airport they dont have enough benches for people to sit down. My daughter flight was delayed one hour so I had to stand the whole time. I have a bad knee so you can imagine what I have to go thru. But everything else is clean. I understand the space is not big. But install benches outside, let the people rest while they are waiting for their love one.
This is essentially a review for the JetBlue operations currently out of Marine Air Terminal, which is temporary location. I commute weekly between FLL and NYC, always on JetBlue, and have been doing this for nearly 5 years.People frequently fail to recognize when a delay is JetBlues fault and when it is not. If a plane is delayed for mechanical issues it is JetBlues fault. But my FL-NY route is frequently delayed, especially in the summer, due to weather (ie thunderstorms). If the FAA puts a ground stop in place due to weather at destination, traffic or whatever there is nothing they can do. Youre just stuck, and I have seen people go ballistic on staff over this. JetBlue moved operations to the Marine Air Terminal several months ago due to construction of the new Terminal 3.I like arriving at Marine Air Terminal because its so small. Taxi time is literally 60 seconds from touch down and you can be outside in one minute. Departures from here are not so great because its small and has limited seating and none of the charging stations were working recently. Once the new Terminal 3 is completed I suppose they will move back there. Pro tip- if you have extra time, eat at the small coffee shop (Yankee Clipper) before security and take a minute to admire the 1930s deco design. (Remember, you can bring food through security but not drinks.) The food is freshly made, better and a little cheaper that the stuff on the other side of security.
I have been using Jet Blue since their beginning . After all those years,its still a great airline,nice personel on board,clean plane,good snacks ,and on board movie,very few delays.The prices could be a bargain if purchased well in advance.The JFK hub is very nice. I often choose to fly from Laguardia much easier from the city.
Jet blue is the worst airline to exist I had carry on included on my flight than got a notice starting sept 7, 2020 all carry on has a FEE which is the same price as a 50 pound bag.I called to see what was going on they said since it’s effective they can’t do anything than we said we want to pay for a 50 pound and a carry on they say it’s a “special package” deal so it would be 125$ wanted to cancel the flight they said I can but will have credit only to ride with JetBlue a joke of a air flight. AA and Delta doesn’t do this this is what I get for choosing this airline. DO NOT FLY JETBLUE
What can I say Ive been using JetBlue for a while 12:15 who knows many many years but Ill tell you what it is an airline that you can afford but it feels like an expensive I just love JetBlue it was a pandemic I had bought tickets to a travel website who gave me tickets from JetBlue its not yet loose ball but I never got those tickets but I really wanted to see my granddaughter I missed temper havent seen my kids I need to travel across the country and I looked everywhere tickets for a thousand and up and what do you know I found two tickets to where I had to go across the country for $99 a person I mean who can beat that you cant even get somewhere on the East Coast for less than that I love JetBlue its a wonderful airline
Took flight 5 from newark to ft Lauderdale. Flight was delayed 2hrs 40 min. Bc they didnt have a flight crew. Not good. Plane was comfortable. Staff on plane was nice.Had returning flight. Was cancelled due to storm. Not their fault. Couldnt get flight till 3 days later. They returned my money. Had to take diff airlines.Will give another shot. I know they are good
I will always love their prices and leg room. The flights were good. They did start late but it was the airports fault not jet blue. I love that they have Fly-fi and you can go online while in the air. They have good shows in the hub as well. The staff is friendly and both pilots were nice to me. The one complaint I have is that the seats need to be a few inches wider. Thats it. The armrest when put down takes up more space then one would think. Their over head bag space is a generous size as well. I would book with them again.
The only nice guy was the guy checking ID and wishing you a happy belated or upcoming birthday the lady next to him just sat there and stared at the line for about 20 minutes and everyone else was just nasty as if they don’t want to be at work….I used to like JetBlue now I’m going to make sure I never book with them ever again
I arrived an hour and a half before my flight. The process was quick and simple. There was someone there to help me receive my tickets with no problems.( I ordered my tickets on line.) TSA had us go through the Metal detectors with a simple quick process there were no problems. We waited for our flight and Everything was on time. We actually arrived a 1/2 an hour early which was okay with me. Our flight was from New York to Boston transferred from Boston to Texas. The flight attendants were very professional. TVs worked And I had a great trip. I traveled with my 10 year old daughter she likes traveling with Jet blue.
JetBlue allowed my recent DR vacation to be ruined. Complete false advertising with one of their partners Puerto Plata Lifestyle resorts. The room I was sold by JetBlue Vacations was nothing like the room I was expecting. Spent over $4000 for a total of 12 nights for a birthday getaway for my GF and neither the hotel or jetblue were willing to compensate me for my experience at all. Ive been a customer for years but once im done spending my flight points Im closing my credit cards and never using Jetblue again. Jetblue should be ashamed about doing business with resorts like this and they should consider stopping before they get hit with a false advertising lawsuit. PS: Two pieces of brand new luggage also destroyed on the same trip.
If I fly domestic I try to fly JetBlue. Its one of if not the best airline on my opinion. The extra space option is pretty great since it will get you into the fast line at security. The tv option is nice . The paid snacks they offer are pretty good although the free one are usually enough for short flights.
The best airline to fly. Im a frequent flyer and love the new terminal at LaGuardia. No more long lines and very organized. Only one incident at the Orlando location that put the passengers at risk on my flight. A man was allowed to board fro Orlando after complaining he was behaving unacceptable at the gate, touching a little girl and himself in front of everyone. Desk was notified but no action taken. He was removed and arrested from the aircraft upon arrival at LaGuardia for urinating, masterbating and touching the female passenger next to him. He should have NEVER boarded that plane to begin with. I called FAA and Corporate office and got no response, other than he has been arrested. Other than that, its a true pleasure to fly that airline. Crew and Pilot are very PROFESSIONAL and usually on time. Reasonable ticket prices.
Getting checked in was easy. The hard part was actually leaving once in. Just my flight was delayed twice. I can understand that, with weather issues and all. What I cant understand is not being able to board the airplane, because they cant find a vacuum to clean up. What also bothers me is being one of the last groups loaded onto the aircraft, yet still sitting for over 20-30minutes, due to a problem with paperwork. Still docked in. Besides that, its not bad. I still have not left form a 9:18 flight.
I was traveling round trip from West Palm Beach to NYC. The staff at the Jetblue counter were friendly, courteous and very professional.The flight attendants were very helpful and accommodating to all of my special needs. They smiled during the flight and checked-in with me to find out if I needed anything.
Im a consumer. I pay for a service and I expect it to work properly. This acceptance of incompetence only fuels companies in becoming more so.My flight delay isnt the worst in the world - 60mins, but the fact that we are not offered any apologies, save for an explanation fornthe delay. Which doesnt do anything to assuage our frustration.Ok so they gave me a better seat just now, but surely thats unrelated to the delay.New departure time has been increased by a further 20mins.We can stop this easily. I have no problem simply traveling in another airline until these guys get it together. They provide a necessary service so they use this to run these airplanes whichever way they see fit.In Japan, these delays are nonexistent and if they are late, they apologize profusely and find a way to make things right.Not so here.
From the airport to our destination and back... Flight attendants were pleasant and professional. Complimentary snacks. WiFi on plane, smooth ride. TV and Music, cam bring your own headphones or purchase one. I always like to bring a blanket and pillow, its allowed. Nice cozy warm blanket. Will fly with JetBlue again
JETBLUE AIRWAYS HOW CAN YOU TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY AND THINK OTS OK?! So after we’ve been sitting in this airport for over 11 hours and all they gave my family was bag of chips and a bottle of water. After talking to several of the gate attendants for hours and hours to try and figure out what was going on. They finally told us “We’ll the pilots get paid more being they took the plane out and came back” whatever that even means?!?! So our flight just keeps getting delayed with no answers, when all the other flights ended up taking off. Then hours and hours later sometime around 10 pm the New and Improved (haha, I’m being very sarcastic when I say that) JETBLUE’S automated computer/phone system just decided to book us and land us somewhere else without even asking us?!?! What is that about! So now we’re stuck going to some random airport. I called CORPORATE OFFICE just spoke to Sharon Evans # 51287 in Corporate and Here’s the best part! She says well you agreed to the CUSTOMER BILL of RIGHTS, we’ll any customer bill of right that’s ok with customers sitting in an airport for almost 12 hours and then deciding on their own to land us somewhere else!!! She just gave us the most RIDICULOUS answer I’ve ever heard!! To everyone out there, LETS ALL FLY WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!! JetBlue is falling apart!!
I wish there was a -5 stars rating for Jet Blue. I had a flight from Bogota to LaGuardia with connection at Ft Lauderdale, my bags never arrived. The baggage system they have is horrible, the phone number they give you for customer service is useless they never pick up. Its 5 days now and I still dont know when I am getting my bags. NEVER traveling with them again
The JetBlue terminal at LGA is so easy to navigate. The flow is good, easy to navigate, the amenities are more than adequate and it is comfortable. Baggage claim is uncongested. The BEST part is the drop-off/pick-up cul-de-sac. The ride-share wait area is right there, too. It is like a small private airport. I truly hope pending renovations do not ruin the experience.
The termal at la guardia is a major work in progress. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have but honesty its not enoug. I took a late flight which ended up being delayed and was stuck with nothing to eat. The options there were limited and tasted horrible.
They treat u like family. They are very much respected n give alot of respect. They care about every 1 even if 1 or 2 people are rude.I believe that we are all family in this world, n no matter what, if u truly trust n treat your neighbor, friend, or a stranger like a member of the family, the respect that u get in return should make u feel like a million bucks.N thats how I live my life, 4 now n 4ever!!!!
Im not sure what JetBlue is doing at LaGuarrdia but the departure process is not ideal. I know the entire airport is under construction but gone is the all the stores and eateries. There is only one place you can get food, Salotto, Italian takeout/sit in. Absolutely no other kiosks or eateries are available. I cannot deal right now...and to my understanding this is it...even the passenger waiting area has shrunk. There are less seats and the area is very narrow. Il m hoping this is temporary because if its not I will be seeking a new favorite airline because JetBlue will be losing this customer.
Going from New York City to San Jose, California and back was the worst with JetBlue. The plane to California was supposed to depart at 10pm and ended up departing at 1am. While the weather was the issue, JetBlue did not give any information and they did not apologize for the inconvenience. It was not well taken care of. Then, coming back from California to New York, the plane was delayed from 10pm to 3:30am. Once again, while it was because of weather, JetBlue handled it terribly.
OLD SCHOOL, YES,this terminal dates from the era nearly a century ago when this airport was a seaplane facility. But JetBlue, whose nearby T5 terminal at Kennedy airport is its own modern delight, makes good work-a-day use of the Marine terminal. It even has advantages in short taxiing requirements and easy LaGuardia ground exits. And I advise all, including travelers in butt-labeled sweatpants, to look up in the massive foyer for reminders in image of a time when travel by air was glamorous. See video.

2022-04-05Normally I enjoy flying on JetBlue but on this occasion there were many cancelled and delayed flights. I know that cant always be helped but I would expect the employees to be a bit more empathetic about having to sit at the airport for 16 hours to catch rescheduled flight.

2022-04-09Id rather go by car than to ever choose JetBlue ever again. Incredibly disappointed with how they handled not only the delays, but also the cancelations. History doesnt fail to repeat itself:My sisters flight got delayed to no end until they canceled it. Why persistently delay it instead of being honest about it? The same happened with my flight and the staff at the airport giggled when we asked why our flight was delayed. No professionalism or empathy to the those trying to get off the ground.Will never consider JetBlue as a respectable airline and wont even dare to recommend it to anyone.

2022-06-13On the day I traveled American and United had a lot of cancellations but Jetblue didnt. Was a good flight but delayed departure...only 15 minutes. Traveling is luck of the draw these days.

2022-04-19Flight was delayed for almost 1,5 hours. And we were stuck in the plane.On the way back around 3 hours before the flight they canceled it. And for the next 3-4 hours didn’t say anything about rescheduling or returning money.They eventually rescheduled the flight for next morning. And credited $50 but it won’t cover my unexpected expenses such as taxi, hotel etc.

2022-07-10Jetblue was my favorite airlines. I am sad to say it no longer holds a spot in my heart. I believe greed got the best of them. They went from being an affordable solution for travel to a laughing stock of the avaition community. For starters they took away carry on luggage which was included with your ticket. They created a three tier class when it comes to ticketing. This segregation is so demeaning and hurtful let alone costly. One can understand that there would be a price difference between first class ticket and standard seat but to charge more for the same seat just to add a carry on is rediculous. Also you are no longer allowed to pick your seat unless you purchase that feature. You can book a ticket for yourself, your wife and kids for a basic price and be separated just to sit next to a stranger. If you call them to have you and your family seated together they tell you that you must pay extra or wait until the day before the flight to pick your seats for free. By that time all the seats are scattered. Jetblue customer service takes ages to reach and are less than helpful once you do reach someone. The next crazy thing is that they charge you more than a standard seat if you choose to sit in the emergency seat. Last I checked that seat comes with a huge responsibility in an emergency and in my opinion should be considered work. Therefore that seat should be free to pick as long as you are willing to do the right thing in an emergency. Over all Jetblue has declined in service, cleanliness and increased in price with nothing positive in return. However the Pilots are amazing and always fly professionally and responsibly. They are highly skilled and deserve more money. I have encountered nothing but the best flight staff since I began flying with them in the early 2000s. My only issue is cooperate and if they do not change to accommodate the working class they will loose business to their competition such as Delta or American Airlines.

2022-07-06I am just writing this review in general about jetblue.BEWARE WITH BOOKING AND CALL AND DOUBLE CONFIRM. I had booked a flight to montreal from here and jetblue said I was going to be flying american airlines. However, they never confirmed with american about the flight which left me and my traveler with no seats on the flight. Apparently JETBLUE made an error in their system and didnt book us on this partner flight. I was transferred back and forth from jetblue to american 4x. Finally a nice agent with a brain figured out the issues and canceled the flight and rebooked me and my traveler on the next flight. SO if your confirmation says anything about a partner flight call and DOUBLE CHECK.

2021-05-10My favorite airline is JetBlue and fly on it whenever I can - whether it be to Florida, Las Vegas, or even to the Caribbean! Staff is friendly and service is great. Everyone has a tv monitor and dont have to share (one time my tv wasnt working at all, but the flight attendant provided extra snacks etc esp for the long flight home). I wrote to JetBlue and they some credit towards the next flight.Enjoy in-flight movies - I get to catch up on movies I havent seen or re-watch some that I have...or take a nap. Watch tv shows or listen to music. Flight tracker shows distance to destination.Free snacks and non alcoholic beverages - who doesnt love the popcorners or terra blue chips (which runs out quick). Theres also inflight purchase for other snacks and alcoholic drinks.Remember to bring your own earphones if you dont want to pay for them.Free high speed wifi while in the air...remember to set phones to airplane mode!Dont forget to join TrueBlue for miles...they dont expire, which is great!
