Food is horrible, absolutely not up to the standard of Lunge, instead of paying money for lounge, good food can be purchase. Amex Platinum card holder (+ Priority Pass enroll), only 1 guest allowed in (Not 2 as advertised in Amex lounge search). Not worth paying extra money for additional guest.
Dont know why this place is getting such a bad rep with all the 1 star reviews. Sure its not the best lounge at JFK but its definitely way way better than sitting in the food court. Located across from gate 3 in Terminal 1, the windows give you a nice view of flights taking off. If you sit right at the end you can even see the skyline of Manhattan in the distance. Seating is plenty and comfortable. They also have shower services although I didnt avail of them.Food selection was lacking compared to other lounges, a few muffins, pastries, fruits and the rest was packaged snacks. No hot food but I think they are in the process of setting it up. Beer, sodas and a self serve bar with 5 to 6 of your standard spirits - bacardi, JD, absolut etc. but they did also have remy martin cognac! Red and white wine also available. Staff seemed polite enough and made regular rounds to refill items and keep the place tidy. Check in was easy and seamless too using my priority pass. Definitely worth a visit if you are flying out of Terminal 1.
Filthy, no service, nothing to eat except packet noodles. Ive never been in an airport lounge like this one, it was appalling. My Dragonpass has a time restriction so we were directed to the Korean lounge. I wish Id stayed in the airport food court. The lounge was absolutely filthy, the only food choices were either crackers and unrefridgerated packets of cheese, or packet noodles you had to add hot water to. There was an empty bottle of wine left on the counter for the whole miserable 2 hours I was there and the self-pour bar had three choices of unrecognisable spirits and shot glasses to drink them out of. Appalling, gross and a waste of a lounge pass.
This is the worst lounge imaginable. I cant tell you how bad the food selection and quality is. These other reviews have to be fake. All they serve in the name of food is instant noodles and some below average breads and then some processed and and packed cheap cookies and chips. It is a shame that this monstority passes off a lounge. JFK sucks big time and I am never flying korean air too. The seating is just okay though.
If you are taking a flight out of JFK please eat something before you arrive, everything is so expensive and the food is average. Pure highway robbery, it should be illegal how much they charge for things there. Bottle of water 3.69 regular bottle not a large one. Bag of noodle soup 9.99, McDonalds 2 cheese burger, fries, and refular coke 10.69 these are some examples of simple things that cost so much. And the people there rude as can be and dont give a f#@% about your feelings or customer service. And when did it get so bad that a $5 dollar tip was not enough...wheww what an experience.
Terrible service at the front desk. The front desk manager Christine Chang doesnt know how to check in customers, gets confused about the slightest difference in the process and gets mad and very rude very quickly. Shes not helpful to the customer at all and gets frustrated at the first question you ask her. Someone just replace her with a Roomba already. Roomba at least cleans the floor.
Pretty weak overall even on the first class side. If you are an alcoholic though, you are in luck as its a self pour and they even have some Remmy out there. The food was, ugh, soggy. This is nothing like a Korean Air Lounge that you would find at ICN. I had access through Saudia Airlines. On a positive note, its pretty quiet and non hectic and there is a conference room if you want solitude.
Extremely rude front desk ladies. Unfortunately, I had to interact with the front desk personnel. I had a feeling I was in North Korea. Very unprofessional, combative, unfriendly. The lounge is tiny, dirty and shabby. Please save your time and visit the Air France lounge.
There are very limited lounges in JFK in general. The Korean Air lounge happened to be in the terminal I was flying out of so I decided to wait there while I waited for my flight. Theres not much to offer. There wasnt even any food available at around 6 pm on a Saturday. The only thing they had was cups of shin ramyun and some bananas. They have your typical lounge-type liquor selection and some Budweiser. I guess a crappy lounge is better than no lounge, especially since I have the Priority Pass, but this lounge would not be worth paying an entrance fee for.
There is cup ramen, so it would be good to have simple kimchi. There are a lot of seats, but there arent that many places that can be recharged. Because there are so many Korean passengers, the seats fill up quickly. The downside is that KAL Wi-Fi is not available in the lounge. As of today, I cant connect to the Wi-Fi even though I put in the password. There are two showers in the mens restroom, so use them if you cant wash your face in the morning. The menu will vary slightly from day to day, but it is enough for a quick snack before boarding. I like the assorted fruits in the pack.
There are cup noodles and some snacks.I was sorry that the bathroom was small and there was no place to relax. pp card users have a limited time, but if you are a Korean Air passenger to Incheon, you cannot enter the pp card. But the room is quiet and the staff is friendly.
Compared to the size of the airport, I felt that the lounge was small and the number of meals was small. I didnt know how to use the drink machine or where to put it, so when I asked him, he followed me politely and taught me, and I was happy to be a very kind and smiling Korean woman. I think the hospitality was more than an assortment of meals.

2022-06-29Me and my family went to airport early. We checked in and we were extremely hungry and we did not eat breakfast. However the JFK Korean air lounge had amazing food and the customer service was amazing. My family had a great time and we were all full.

2022-06-23Clean and nice place to relax before a long flight ahead. Good foods and drinks and snacks. Another amazing point is they keep the bathrooms cleaned at all times. Also the staffs there are readily available to assist and maintain the place clean!

2021-08-12The lounge is a decent size compared to other lounges in T1 and the staff are friendly, but that’s where the good ends. The lounge seems dated and has a very limited food selection. Expect mostly packaged ramen and small packaged salads during Covid. Hours are based on flight schedule and expect the lounge to open late and close early.

2019-10-09Pretty good lounge with great selection of food and drinks. There is even shower room. The relaxation room however needs to be worked on.

2022-05-21Simply disgusting. Inedible food. Skanky bathrooms. Kind of like Port Authority for planes

2018-12-12The ambience of the lounge is quite good. WiFi speed is fast and does not fluctuate much. You can enjoy refreshments and have a nice shower. I went there at 4:00 PM on a Thursday and there were not many people in there. Till the time I left at 6:00 PM a good number of people arrived but there were a lot of empty seats available, so in my experience you can find space in the lounge.

2020-01-17Food was an embracement. Three options were available: fried rice, pasta in tomato sauce, fried vegetables. Nothing else. Thats it. No meat, no soups, no cold cuts, fruit, fresh vegetables or anything. This is a lounge for people travelling in business class on an international flight - is this how you want to treat them? The food options were more suited for a homeless shelter, than for a business class lounge. Sad.

2018-11-04The staff was nice but this is the worst lounge I’ve ever been to. All they had for food at dinner was ramen noodles in a cup. Snacks were just Oreos, nuts and one type of chips. Drinks were coke and Budweiser. This was the college dorm room equivalent of a lounge. I ended up just going to the food courts outside. Absolutely disgusted with the options in this place. Unacceptable. Would’ve given less stars if I could.
