Best airport lounge in the world.
Having used the Virgin lounge at Heathrow I had higher expectations. They were miles apart in quality. The staff were polite but lacked the warmth of the heathrow staff.The choice of food was frankly very limited, so much so that I picked at the afternoon tea my son didnt like his and there was nothing my husband could eat!It was okay and more comfortable than the main airport seating but nothing spectacular or overly comfortable.It was free to use this lounge with the Virgin Upper Class flights but I would not have wanted to pay for it.
Comfortable and calm. Good menu of cooked food, portions just right for pre-flight eating. Really have to mention the staff, all very attentive without being in the way, friendly and professional. Wish I could afford this every trip!
This place is exactly what was needed before a long flight back to UK after a busy week in New York - peaceful, comfortable, and staffed by outstanding people. The members of the Virgin team were, without exception, all really friendly and helpful. We had a delightful few hours here before flying - if you get the opportunity to visit, you should!On balance - not many people get the chance to fly Upper Class. We were blessed by some very well priced tickets via a generous friend - but if you do, its quite the experience.
If you dont get the cheeseburger youre not living your best life. I have never had a bad experience in the lounge. The attitudes and personalities of all the staff are above and beyond the norm in the industry.
Great service with a smile, good food and drinks. Not as big or plush as the Heathrow virgin lounge but very nice way to fly. Better than many lounges.
Pleasant lounge, attentive staff, good food. As a first-time visitor, I was disappointed not to be told what was on offer (e.g. I did not find the showers until shortly before I was due to board).Music was too loud -- very intrusive for anyone wanting to work.
Definitely a step up from an American airline lounge. Its British so I expected it not to be very clean (it wasnt) and the toilets were pretty dismal, but seats are comfortable, staff pretty well trained, and the food is varied and excellent. One minus is the intrusive background music.
Wonderful attentive service. Very friendly staff. Cocktails, great food (char sui chicken particularly good) and a hand massage. Perfect way to start a long haul. Well fed and a bit blurred at the edges lol.
Virgin Atlantic know how to design and run an airport clubhouse and this is no exception. The service was fantastic, the staff attentive and chatty, without interrupting and the food (breakfast) was perfect for a pre-flight meal.I will say, the Eggs Benedict is a must but get two orders. Yes, two! As one will only feed a small child.All in all one of the better lounges at JFK and worth visiting on your way to London (or anywhere).
Best business class lounge at Terminal 4 if not the whole of JFK. The pool table, the spa, a dinner that is served vs self-serve. Definitely right up there for transatlantic. BA is very good although looking a little tired, Swiss is small, a little hermetic with far too few power outlets. Lufthansa is small and often filled beyond capacity.
Virgin always has the best airline clubs, in Europe and the US. Delta Diamond members travelling in Virgin Flights get complimentary access, definitely recommend over the sky club. Comfortable seating with table service (full menu and cocktails), hair salon, even a pool table.
Despite what the app and booklet say, the staff no longer permit Barclays Dragon Pass users access. Had to pay $50 on top of my membership for the poorest excuse for an airport lounge Ive ever experienced!!
Great clubhouse. Not quite as luxurious as the London Flagship clubhouse but great selection of drinks and food. Highly recommend the EO Manhattan. Service is friendly as always.
A great lounge with waiter service for food and drink. A small spa with complimentary treatments. Views of the apron, to watch the comings and goings of the aircraft.

2017-12-13After my first time here Im pretty satisfied.The food is nice and complimentary, including all drinks and cocktails (they have a nice menu with a few very good ones).The atmosphere was nice and calm, music at the right volume to add but not too loud it is annoying.There are a few computers you can use and a nice business area to work.Staff are verry nice and helpful and theres plenty of them.One thing that I didnt like is that it was hard for me to understand all that the lounge has to offer and what from that is complimentary. So do yourself a favor and when you enter, ask the staff about that.

2020-02-08Its the first time Id been to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in JFK4. Good fun! Nice a Ia carte menu. Full bar. Very friendly wait staff. Plenty of space to spread out. Strong easily accessible WiFi. -1 for the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There was also a salon of sorts - didnt have time to check it out. All in all very fun
