Friendly and knowledgeable associates welcomed me right when I arrived. They didnt try to upsell me or do any extras. They told me exactly what they were doing and how they would do it, no hidden charges.
Dion and Reese took great care of my car. So professional and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them, the only spot I come to for an oil change. They took car of my breaks as well. Service was also done nice and fast. No hassle.
The guys at Jiffy Lube Baldwin could not have made getting my oil changed easier than they did on a Tuesday after I got out of work! Rolled in at 6:08 and rolled out 20mins later! Courteous and professional I’d recommend anyone who needs an oil change without all the hassle to use them!
Was very confused. Looked up transmission fluid service as well as filter replacement. Went into store, Baldwin, NY, and was told that they could do, but then I got pulled away and couldnt do it. Went in next day, and different crew said they dont replace filters. I described yesterdays experience and then they checked with 2 managers and eventually they said they could replace the filter. The theme gave me a written quote of over $315 to exchange transmission fluid and replace the filter. Really???? I did not get it done. Found a transmission shop who will do it for $150. $315 pfft

Went in for oil change and specifically asked for a fill up of windshield washer fluid. The guy lied to me and said they filled it even though the indicator light was still on. They filled nothing and I had to fill 1+ gallon of fluid myself at autozone. Can only assume they actually changed my oil, but since you lied about the winshield washer fluid, how can I be positive?
As luck would have it both my cars had inspections expiring , so I made two trips to Jiffy Lube this week and could not be happier. I also got an oil change while there. It was quick and easy and the staff could not be nicer. Highly suggest you give this location a try.
I go to the Jiffy Lube in Baldwin because it’s close to my house and I had good experiences in the past. I went here to get my oil changed before a long trip upstate, after driving about 50 miles my car started smoking. I went to a local autozone to pick up antifreeze thinking it was low and that’s why it was smoking. Upon opening my hood I noticed that Jiffy Lube never replaced my oil cap. I called Jiffy Lube immediately and they said to tow it back to their shop and they would take a look at the car and reimburse me for the towing costs. I took me 2 tow companies (one to get me off the highway and the other for the long tow) 4 hours later I got back to the Jiffy Lube in Baldwin. The manager said that he would personally look over the car for damage and do another oil change and replace the oil cap. He said that I could submit the receipts to him and he would get me the money back. Here I am almost 6 months later and he is no where to be found. I’ve gone to the location multiple times and called him and no response.DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! They are extremely unprofessional and do not take responsibility for their actions. If I could give them 0 stars I would!
Very good service, the staff (Dion and the others) were very friendly and knowledgeable, as usual. No pressure, they took a coupon, very good price for an oil change and extras (checking and filling tires). They walked me to my car, shook my hand. Very nice experience.

I am a very loyal Jiffy Lube customer and have been coming for years. This is my first experience and visit here at the Baldwin location and Apollo was very prompt. Oil changes are typically annoying chores at best... but I was so pleasantly impressed with Dion and the rest of the staff. They were so professional and thorough. I’m sure the management deserves credit for training them well but I am sure dion and the rest of the girls would be stars wherever they work. This jiffy lube is outstanding i was greeted right away from the moment i pull onto the lot and the customer service was excellent. I will like for the company to recognize the manager Apollos.J for doing an excellent job with his knowledge and great people person skills. I spend around $300 for all my service and Apollos.J explained to me that my transmission was due for service and by getting it done with my oil change can save me a lot of money in the future due to the fact i never got my transmission oil change in my 2014 Honda Civic. Thank you for everything Mr. Apollos.J I highly recommend everyone to this Jiffylube location in Baldwin staff and management is very friendly and nice.

Jiffy Lube has a very efficient service, with very courteous and friendly employees. They explained what they were going to do, and also, madesuggestions about maintenance of the vehicle. The one down side was I felt the price was a bit expensive, even with a coupon.

Baldwin Jiffy Lube is a great store to get my car oil changed and serviced. The waiting area was clean, the coffee was fresh, the staff was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend friends and family to get their car serviced there.
Went in for an inspection. They had me out the door in no time. Everyone there was very courteous. Ill be back for my next oil change. The biggest reason I gave em 5 stars. They not only cleaned the old inspection sticker completely off, the new one was stuck on in perfect alignment with the registration sticker. I like that.
Im so thankful for the team at the Baldwin Jiffy Lube. The two managers Jessica and Rob Explained everything I needed on my car. I didnt feel any pressure. Rob showed me my filters and mentioned the manufacturer suggests to get the transmission done every 30,000 miles. I asked to see the condition of fluid and it was very black when Jessica showed me my stick. I will recommend my friends here without a doubt. Thank you so much!

I’m a college student with little money and my Dad told me to come hereto get my oil change completed, however I was worried about the cost of the service. The reason is that i always go to the dealer and they always over charge me but it all changed when I get my car serviced here at Baldwin Jiffylube. I was greeted promptly and my state inspection and oil change was completed in about 30 mins. My Chevy dealer wanted me to wait 4 hours for my car today. I said No way.
Waited for 48 minutes to find out they didn’t have filter for my car. Man next to me same problem different car. Manger tells me they are out of a lot of different filters and it’s not his fault. I ask why if he knows he’s out of different filters didn’t he check before he made me wait.

A few weeks ago I came twice for an oil change and was told to come back because their machines were down. I later heard on the news they were receiving violations and weren’t allowed to operation until they did repairs. I then went in for an inspection and was told the inspector is only in a couple of times a week. No signs posted! I came in when I was told two days later to be told that the inspector wasn’t due in for 3 and 1/2 more hours. Not happy

I went to JiffyLube before church on Sunday and soon as I enter the lot I was created by Apollos and Dion and both was such gentleman Especially Apollos. He walk me right thru the whole process of my service and informed me what my car needed and told me all I need was an oil change because car only have 3500 miles on it, he also told me my car use a special oil which is 020 and I have zero idea what that mean so he explain and educated me about the oil selections. Thank you Mr. Handsome Apollos.J you made my day worth coming to JiffyLube and I will be back soon for my next service.

I had never considered Jiffy Lube before but the place where I usually have my oil changed was unable to take me. So I went to Jiffy Lube. It cost more money but I think the oil recommended for my car was used.

It took me months to realize what these guys did to me. I went for an oil change and of course every time I come here, the mechanics pressure me into any upgrade they possibly can. Im used to it and I just say no to everything- I know theyre just doing their jobs. Once, they came out with an incredibly dirty air filter and told me it was mine and that I needed to change it. I figured, sure, go ahead. But I remember thinking it looked like someone had dragged it on the ground for dramatic effect- there was a feather on it, which just seemed weird. But I got my oil change, they charged me for the replaced air filter, and I went on my way. Months later, my car was having some trouble and since my dad is good with cars, he took a look. The issue was the air filter. Guess who DIDNT change my air filter? This jiffy lube. How do I know? The filter they showed me was square. My filter, as I now know from replacing it with my dad, is very strangely shaped. They absolutely showed me a random air filter, lied, did not replace the one in my car, and charged me ~$20. When I finally changed the air filter in my car, it was clear it hadnt been changed since the car was new. I will never go back to this Jiffy Lube, and in fact I will not go back to any Jiffy Lube. Ill get my oil changes elsewhere. Im not going somewhere that would so blatantly lie to me!

These idiots broke my valve stem and when I went to put air in my tires because they looked low and my rear passenger valve stem was broke off. Leaking air slowly. Save the hassle and don’t go to these clowns with anything. I went originally for an oil change. My oil change light is still going off so makes me wonder if they even changed the oil.

They get the job done, usually quickly. But it is expensive and they ALWAYS try to up sell. Know what you want and need and pay for nothing more, they are simply making suggestions. I take both of my vehicles there regularly...

I’ve taken my car here in the past and now I come to find out these people are dumping used oil into Silver Lake. That is the most despicable thing I have ever heard and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. To save (literally) a few dollars your destroying our neighborhood?! The New York DEC was there the other day and issued 8 tickets which is not nearly enough. It was also in the news today. Disgusting. **And for the record - the amount of oil that was found in local systems and the lake itself it wayyyyy to much to be any kind of unintended accident although obviously that’s what management will claim. I say BS.

The slowest car inspection ever. Took almost 2 hours. The staff sat around and joked while the garage was empty. Do not come here unless you are trying to waste your time.

2022-06-23Exemplary service! I used to go to the dealer for maintenance service of my 2019 Subaru. For a change, I decided to go to Jiffy though my car was still under service warranty. The first thing I noticed after getting the car back after servicing was that the idling sound had come down drastically. Maybe the superior quality of the synthetic oil that brought down the idling noise. I do not know. I asked the associates if I needed a tire rotation and cabin filter replacement. They checked and confirmed that I do not need them for now. The associate that helped me was very professional and friendly. Exceptional staff, fast and quality service!

2022-07-01Jiffy Lube, Valley Stream, Merrick Road, NY needs to get it together. Waited 2hrs on a hot Saturday morning for the shop to open. They are supposed to open at 8am, I arrived 7:20am, by 9:30a 4 other cars were in the lot with me and the staff hadnt arrived. This is not the first time this has occurred.

2021-10-26I brought my car in for an oil change about 30 minutes prior to closing and I felt bad giving them last minute work to do but it wasn’t a problem. I even offered to come back tomorrow and before I knew it someone was already waiting for me to pull my car in to the bay. It was convenient being able to remain in my car throughout the service while Brandi brought her tablet over to take my information and advised which oil I should be getting based on my vehicle. Paul completed the oil change quickly and went over the car twice to make sure it was in good to go. I usually use my regular mechanic for an oil change but this experience was quick and easy and very convenient for my last minute needs. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

Went in for an oil change because my dealer was making it complicated to get an appointment (making me wait until a weekday/workday in July)!!! Steve actually pointed out my inspection was due! Thanks because I hadn’t noticed! After 3 months of not driving (due to the pandemic), last thing on my mind was inspection!

2017-10-23I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a vehicle from Smithtown NY and drove it back to Baldwin NY where I live with zero issues so I stopped at Jiffy Lube at 598 Merrick Road in Baldwin for an oil change and other maintenance anyone would get with purchasing a car. The bays for the oil change are very steep, so the employees need to be very careful when pulling cars in and out for service. Once they were finished with service they pulled the car out of the bay carelessly. Once I was done paying I went out and noticed fluid pouring out the bottom of my car, it was my brake fluid, the line was damaged when the car was pulled down the bay. I had to call a tow to get my car because it had no breaks after fluid emptied on floor. I went to get the employee who pulled car out to ask what happened and he was across the street from the business talking to someone in a car avoiding me. I got the manager of location and explained what happened and he gave me a number to his “higher up” named Jason. Jason said to get the car fixed and get receipt to submit a claim. After submitting claim I was contacted by a woman named Connie out of Jiffy Lube corporate in Texas with a horrible attitude and zero people skills denying the calm. All in all this place is horrible and I hope no one ever uses them. I attached images of the damage they caused just to forewarn anyone else thinking about using them.
